-Jenna Williams-

Jenna arched her eyebrows at Candace's response, her smile sliding from her face. "Well, isn't that rich?" She said. "Oh, wait, no, you're still fooling your parents into believing you're the perfect, angelic, storybook daughter and that everybody else in town is the bad guy. Mommy and Daddy probably believed that you were scared of the big bad murderer when you've probably actually been using it to terrify everyone else. Trust me, I'm not the bad influence on Richard," she said, smirking at Candace.

*Rayne Dawson*
Circling around the poor girl, Rayne giggled while taking a step back to take in the entirety of the situation, delicately rested her finger on her bottom lip in contemplation, and tilted her head to the side to match her crooked smile. My, my, my wasn't this a peculiar position to be stuck in? It almost had Rayne thinking that this girl wanted to be tied down to this wobbly drunk.

Teetering forward on one foot to take a quick glance at the drunk, Rayne smirked and slipped a quick wink to the girl who was helplessly following along to this loser's spasms. "He's cute." For this girl's ranks and standards, not hers, thought Rayne. She was way beyond that cheap material. "I don't blame you for trying to hook onto him like this, but it's a shame you got stuck in the back. Doesn't seem like he's noticed you yet."

Usually, Rayne would let the embarrassing torture go on for quite some time, but this, this was different. Something about the young girl was so vaguely familiar, but Rayne couldn't place her finger on it. But being open and blunt like she usually is, Rayne decided to ask. "Do I know you from somewhere?" She asked with another smile- this one being faintly less welcoming. With many people at Mountain Brooke showing up and leaving, it's easy for anyone to forget names and even who they were as a person, but Rayne was slightly different. She never forgets faces. Never.

Faith was at the party, trying to pretend she was just another normal teenage girl. After the murder, Faye had expected her mother to go into overdrive trying to keep them inside to keep them safe but it had had the total opposite affect. Her mother's main concern had been trying to 'get back to normal', whatever normal was for their family. It was why Faye was now at this party that her parental figure had insisted she attend even though she probably wouldn't have attended it before. She'd even given her money to get what she called 'suitable clothing' away from the jeans and sweaters she was comfortable wearing. She'd opted for a long sleeve white dress with a high neckline, but she had honestly just picked the first thing she saw in the store in her size. She'd never been particularly fashion-conscious, nor did she care about such things but as she sat people watching almost entirely by herself she couldn't help but notice what the others around her wore.

A pair of two girls not far from her spot caught her eye, but she made sure not to look directly at them for too long. The last thing she needed was to have one of them catch her staring. She recognized one vaguely as Rayne Dawson, but the other was unknown to her. It seemed as if the younger girls zipper had caught onto the sweater of a boy she also didn't recognize. It occurred to her that she didn't have any clue who half of these people were, but it wasn't as if she planned on approaching any of them so who cared. 'I have a feeling that this is much more interesting because they're all drunk,' she thought to herself as she fidgeted with her hair, making sure her hat was secure and fidgeting with a lock of her dark brown hair by twirling it around her finger. She wondered if she should get up to help the younger girl with her zipper but it seemed to her that Rayne had it covered for now.

Candace Nelson
Candace has two choices: She could either A. scoff and walk away and let everyone ponder how juvenile and bitchy Jen really was, or she could B. put the bitch in her place. Obviously she chose option B. Candace was many things, and none of those things was 'pacifist'. Without even looking behind her, Candace grabbed the idiot who had been dancing behind her for the past five minutes and snatched the red solo cup of God knows what out of his hand. "Watch your fucking mouth!" She snarled at Jen before chucking the contents of the cup right into Jen's face. "And have some class Jenna, someone died for Pete's sake. Disrespectful much?" She sniped, raising her voice a bit louder for others to hear.

Alice Major
All those years and Alice had completely forgotten how shark-like Rayne was. She inwardly admonished herself for even thinking the girl would help her out. "Trust me," Alice drawled, almost puking in her mouth at Rayne's less than subtle assumption. "He's not my type." Which was true. Alice had one particular type and it was called 'evil bitch that left her to rot but for some reason Alice still loved her'.

When Rayne asked her if they knew each other, Alice nearly broke her neck when she shook her head so hard. "No!" She practically shouted, and somehow the force of her admission gave her the strength to yank hard on her zipper and wrench it free from the guy's sweater. Unfortunately, two very embarrassing things happened in that moment. One, Alice slipped on what she hoped was sweat, and flew backwards, landing on her ass. And two, the force of her pull causes a huge hole to be ripped into the guy's sweater. Alice let out a mortified shriek, and against her better judgement and integrity, she fled to the other side of the room next to a girl in a gray hat and tried to pretend like she hadn't just ripped a massive hole in some strangers shirt.

It vaguely occurred to her that she had pretty much left Rayne to deal with the outcome of her misfortune, but she just hoped the other girl forgave her...

-Jenna Williams-

If Jenna had been sober, she would have been mad, but probably would have just yelled at Candace, or maybe even just walked away. But Jenna was not sober, and that gesture was the final straw. She saw red, and before she was fully aware of what she was doing, she was on her feet and hurling herself at Candace, shouting various obscenities. She'd never been so glad that she'd put off that manicure- because her nails were long and perfect for scratching. The people around the two girls stopped and stared, some starting to drunkenly cheer. "Girl fight!" She clawed at Candace's face, still screaming. She wasn't even entirely sure what she was screaming any more, but she only had one thing on her mind.

Faye was a little surprised when the younger girl came towards her and sat beside her. She was mildly amused when the girl had ripped a whole in the boy's sweater, all the while he was too drunk to even notice. "Hello," Faye said awkwardly, glancing over at the girl who had joined her. Faye wasn't sure what to say to the girl, but she was clearly mortified over ripping the guy's clothing. Se considered trying to reassure her ta it was just clothing after all and there was no need to be nearly as panicked as she was but she didn't voice her opinion. She didn't really know the girl after all and she felt that perhaps she might feel better if she thought that no one had noticed.

Arin Wolfe

As Arin's gaze darted around, looking for somewhere to go, everything exploded around them.

"Shit, shit, what's going on?!"

They couldn't tell what noise was real and what was coming from their own head. The chaos was unbearable. They felt like they were going to explode.

Arin found themself longing to be back home where their only company was their tattoo.

Trying to flatten themself against the nearest wall, they searched for the source of the commotion. It looked like there was a fight going on.

Ugh this is a nightmare! I shouldn't have come...

*Rayne Dawson*
One after another, Rayne watched in amusement as the younger girl fumbled into a string of mistakes that could only be seen in a slapstick comedy act and run off in a spurt of wild frenzy to the other side of the room. For someone saying 'no' that adamantly and running off in the way she did, it seemed to Rayne that this girl knew her from somewhere. But who didn't know her, Rayne laughed to herself. However, this seemed to be different, and Rayne wanted to investigate. After all, she had nothing better to do since all the drama that was going on at the moment appeared so typical and boring.

Once she left, the drunk turned around and started screaming a stream of cuss words at Rayne, but she kept walking forward- throwing her middle finger over her shoulder as her only response. As she kept walking, Rayne could feel the entire crowd of surrounding people now turning their eyes at the newly founded entertainment and doubling over in laughter at the pitiful sight, but still she didn't stop. She had a goal and nothing could veer her from it. Besides, she could explain herself and everyone would take her side of the story- he tried to kiss her, she pushed him away, he kept trying to come back, her rings got stuck to his sweater, and she simply tried getting it loose, tearing a hole in his sweater instead.

Still, it pissed her off that the younger girl left her to deal with this.

Finally finding the younger girl in the crowd, Rayne walked up to her. "This one time only," Rayne said coldly as she held out one finger, "is the only time I take the blow to that embarrassing folly of yours." Of course, Rayne would be perfectly fine if the younger girl apologized, but at the moment it seemed that the younger girl purposefully set her up. That was not okay.

It took Rayne a moment too long to notice, but there was another girl beside the younger girl. This time, she recognized this face. "Faye!" Rayne smiled.

Candace Nelson

As Jenna hurled herself at her, all Candace could think was thank God she hadn't worn earrings. However she did wish she had gone old school and worn some Vaseline so the bitch couldn't get a grip on her. Unfortunately, it wasn't as though she'd known she was going to get into a fight. Well, she just had to make do with what she had then. When the other girl had jumped on her Candace had dropped her purse, and although she wasn't planning on tasering her, the purse would have been a good object to bash her in the head with. But whatever. Since the dawn of time humans had been fighting and they'd used every resources they had, like their teeth.

"Get the hell off me you bitch!" Candace shrieked, as Jenna's nails raked down the side of her face. Reaching her hands into her hair, Candace got a good hand hold before promptly chomping down on what she hoped was Jenna's shoulder.

Alice Major

"Hi!" Alice chirped trying to pretend like she wasn't out of breath after her mad dash to the side of the room. "Nice party right?" She said, attempting to strike up a conversation. But before she could spew some more small talk, Rayne strode over and Alice cringed as the other girl reprimanded her. "Sorry, I was just so flustered..." She muttered, biting her lip, but couldn't help the little bubble of irritation and rebelliousness that followed and suddenly she found herself blurting out, "Well to be fair you were basically just teasing me like a--a--shark." She snapped then froze realizing what she said. "Or something..." She mumbled.

"Yeah, if you like that kind of thing," Faye said after Alice was done replying to Rayne. She couldn't quite see the imagery of a shark teasing it's pray, but she wasn't going to point it out. The last thing she wanted to do was to get involved in another's conversation, especially one that didn't involve her in the slightest. So instead she sat awkwardly shifting in her seat, occasionally twirling a lock of hair around her finger as she paid only slight attention to the conversation nearby. Everyone else at the party seemed to be hammered, either through drugs or alcohol she couldn't really tell though some of the occupants certainly did look more paranoid than the others. "Hey Rayne!" Faye said, hearing the name she'd been given before moving to this town. "Hows it going?" she asked politely, with a genuine smile. There was something she liked about Rayne, though if you asked she wouldn't be able to tell you what it was immediately. She thought that perhaps it was just the way she was, with her take no nonsense attitude, but Faye knew that Rayne was exactly the kind of person who could expose her secret. And that made her dangerous.

He shook his head, the idea making him a little uncomfortable, "I hope not." He said quietly, not wanting to converse too much. But Spence seemed understanding, hopefully he wasn't thinking into it too deeply, Raf really didn't want to hurt him. Raf went to say something again before he heard manic screams. The boy perked up and frowned at Spencer with confusion before standing up on the stairs. He peered over to see two girls attacking each other. "Oh my God!" Raf put a hand over his mouth as he watched Jen claw at the other girls face. Jen seemed so nice and calm, he was shocked to see her clawing at another persons face as she screamed like a crazy woman.

It was minutes before he left the group, still unable to finish the beer Leon handed to him. The taste was bland and it was too weak for the alcohol to reach his head. He walked around being taken into small groups, forced to introduce himself to other people he didn't know. Supposedly, he's grown well-known as Leon's cousin. He walked around the house till he heard a scream. People began to walk towards the source of the scream. He noticed Leon laughing and clapping, enjoying the fight. He couldn't manage to catch a view of the two brawlers. Jameson shuffled was way till he reached Leon and Elliott. He caught his sights of Jenna and the other girl fighting. There were cuts on the other girls face, assuming they were courtesy of Jenna. His first impression of Jenna was certainly shattered. He looked back at Leon cheering on both girls. He looked at Elliott then at the two girls.

The other girl sank her teeth into Jenna possibly drawing blood or not. He stood there unsure what to do. Jameson wasn't an advocate of fights nor was he one to look down upon them. Before he knew it he grabbed Jenna out of the fight. "Alright, no more." He said. The crowd died down gradually, he had a strong grip on Jenna. He noticed both girls were equally rumpled cruelly, but, he didn't pay much attention to Candace. "Elliott, why don't you help me, seeing as Leon is very upset with me."

Delilah watched the other drunk kids at the party. She had only decided to attend because she had come to the conclusion that something would happen. After all, a party right after one that lead to a kid's death meant chaos. She held onto her old fashioned camera, observing the crowd. The police had questioned Delilah because she had been at the party that guy was murdered at but her petty crimes didn't strike them as "murderer". Delilah glanced at her camera bag, containing a hoodie she had found next to someone too oblivious to notice it would be gone.
The brunette had snapped a couple of pictures of couples fighting, a girl dancing, and some drunk guy miserably failing at hitting on some chick. No one seemed to be bothered by the lingering presence of that dead kid. Delilah was just about ready to leave when some idiots started chanting, "Girl fight!" Delilah followed the slurred chants and sure enough, two girls were having it at each other.
The brunette aimed her camera and snapped a picture as one of them bit into another. The photo developed, Delilah shook it, looked at it, and placed it in her bag. She got another as a male, pulled the blonde one of the brunette. She heard someone mutter, "Creep.." and she knew it was aimed at Delilah. Delilah looked over at the male and recongized him immediately. It was his hoodie she had in her bag. She needn't say anything, as she had already won.

~ Elliot Fontaine ~

Before Leon was able to notice that Elliot had asked him a question, the conversation between Jen and Candace quickly descended into chaos. Before she even knew it, a few nasty words had been exchanged, and suddenly both girls had hurled themselves at each other, clawing at faces and pulling at hair. "Holy-- Geez!" Elliot stepped forward to intervene, but when Candace literally bit down into Jen's shoulder, she stumbled back. If she tried to get in the middle of this by herself, she could lose an eye!

Elliot glanced over to Leon with a look of disgust as he cheered on the fight. Clearly, she wasn't going to get any help from him... But at that moment, Jameson suddenly returned to the scene. Elliot watched in surprise as he intervened and grabbed Jen, pulling her back -- at which point, he called for Elliot to help. Realizing the opportunity, she jumped in immediately, stepping in between the incapacitated Jen and the still-raging Candace. It looked like Jameson was handling Jen for the moment, so Elliot turned her attention to Candace, trying to quell the tension. "Candace, cool it!" She raised her hands defensively at the girl, looking stern. "Let it go -- she's not worth it, alright?" Elliot wasn't sure who was more at fault here, but she had always avoided being in Candace's company, and if she was never sure why before, she sure knew now.

-Jenna Williams-

The combination of drugs, alcohol and sheer rage in Jenna's system meant that she barely felt the pain of Candace's bite. That didn't stop her from retaliating, going to claw at her again. But before she could actually make contact with the other girl, strong arms wrapped around her and pulled her away. "Let me go! Let me go!" She screamed, thrashing. The tattoos told her that it was Jameson holding on to her. Even as she thrashed, he held tight. Ellie got between the two girls and attempted to calm Candace down. Her words had no effect on Jen, who was completely irrational by this point.

-Spencer Parrish-

Spence was about to reply to Raf when screaming came from the other room. Not in the "oh my god another dead person!" way, more like "i'm going to tear your fucking face off" way. As Raf stood up, Spence heard his exclamation of surprise. Spence shot to his feet, but quickly regretted it. His head started to spin precariously. On second thoughts, maybe that many beers on an entirely empty stomach hadn't been the best idea. He got a glimpse of somebody pulling one of the girls off of the other before his vision went black for a minute. When he was semi-aware again, his legs had given out from under him and he was sprawled on the steps. The last thing he could remember was seeing one of the screaming girls being pulled off the other. The screaming was still going on, so it looked like he hadn't missed that much.

*Rayne Dawson*
Before Rayne could reply back to Faye, she thought it would be more important to address the girl that freaked out on her earlier and settle down this pointless bicker once and for all. If whatever the girl said was true and that it was an accident, then it was fine- just as long as she meant it. Rayne had been set up for stupid shit like this more than she could count in the past, so she had to be careful in situations like these.

It was cute how the younger girl tried to stand up confidently until it all boiled down into a silent mumble, but it was enough to gain some not easily earned respect from Rayne. Most people would just back down, walk away, or even suck up to her to get on her good side, but this girl at least had some guts to say something back. Rayne liked that. But a shark, huh? What the hell was that supposed to mean?

"Shark?" Asked Rayne questionably with her eyebrow raised. "I'll take it." Sharks were known as fierce, strong predators and kings of the ocean, she couldn't see how that was supposed to be insulting- sounded more like a compliment to her. "Anyway, listen. I'm not that much of a bitch, believe it or not. If I was, I would have made a spectacle out of you right here and now in front of this whole crowd and back at school, making you a laughing stock. But I'm not doing that, 'cause you got my respect for standing up for yourself, and I like that. But seriously, I was about to help you, but that was when you fell on your ass and ran away. Anyway, are you going to tell me who you are?"

Then turning her head to Faye, she smiled and shrugged. "Besides this whole misunderstanding, just trying to find some drinks and fun. What about you, Faye?"

Aiden Vallez

Aiden had always made it a point to get black out drunk at every party he attended. Of course, his father and step-mother always drilled on him about not mixing his pills with alcohol but never made a real attempt at stopping him. They had eventually learned to accept that Aiden needed alcohol to make him forget. Though he would never let Bethany or Lucas see him like this. He was about halfway through with his third beer and had just left some fight that had been broken up when he spotted Rayne. He had been here-what-a an hour and hadn't seen her once. The brunette smiled to himself and practically skipped over to the girl. They had always been friends, since before Aiden could remember. Their mothers were good friends so naturally, they became friends, too.

Honestly, Aiden had barely noticed the other two girls when he energetically put his arm around Rayne's shoulder and pulled her to his side. "Rainy Day!" Though Aiden was well aware of the fact that Rayne really only wanted to be called Rayne, he made a little exception for himself, considering the circumstances. "Not only was I looking all over for you, I was drinking in the process," the brunette declared, and as if to prove his point, took a another sip from his beer. Aiden messed up her hair before letting go and looking at the two brunettes who Rayne had been talking to. The older girl he had recognized but Aiden wasn't sure if he had met the younger one. "Oh, right. Sorry. My name's Aiden. You're Faye, right? And you're...?" He flashed a warm smile at the two girls before turning his attention to Rayne.

Of course, the 17-year-old hadn't meant to be rude by abruptly disrupting their conversation or how little his attention was turned toward the two but he had to tell Rayne about what he had just witnessed not five minutes ago.

Candace wished that she and Jenna had been in a secluded area, because then she would have been able to kick her ass with no interruptions. Unfortunately, there seemed to be self proclaimed mediators at this party, or at least by the looks of it; Jenna's handlers. Candace shot an initially withering glance at Elliot but within a matter of seconds her gaze changed to appraising. Not many people would get in the middle of a girl fight, especially another girl. Candace didn't really hang with Elliot or see much of her either, but she had a tiny bit more respect for the girl.

Adjusting her outfit and ruined hair, Candace stalked over to Jameson who was still holding Jenna. "You should keep a better leash on your girl, Jameson. I think she's rabid." She sniped before spitting the residue of Jenna's blood in her mouth to the side and stalking off to find a stronger drink.

This wasn't over.

Oh good they know each other. Alice thought and wondered how hard it would be to sneak away. As Rayne and the other girl--what did Rayne call her? Faye?--conversed, Alice started to slowly inch to the side in the direction of the exit. This party scene really wasn't for her. Her snail like trek to the door stopped however, when Rayne turned her attention back to her. She was a bit surprised. She had earned Rayne's respect? The words that the girl spoke forced a memory to surface in her mind suddenly.

giphy.gif

"You know despite the stuttering and the mousy looks, you stood up for yourself. You've got my respect, Alice in Wonderland."
The sudden memory caused Alice to freeze momentarily. She glanced around wildly and realized that she'd probably been silent for a very long time because someone new had just joined their group. When he asked for their names Alice was so bewildered that she forgot to simply give her first name and leave and instead blurted out, "I'm Alice Major!" a little too loudly that necessary.

Faye Roberts
Faye shrugged in reply to Rayne's question just as Aiden joined their group. She recognized him instantly, from various classes that they shared, but she couldn't recall every speaking to him though it was much the same for most of her classmates. "Well it's nice to meet you, Alice," she said in response for everyone, though she mostly only said it to be kind. Alice seemed abnormally jumpy for what seemed like no particular reason, but Faye knew that it was because she was hiding something. She knew, because that's how she'd first been when they'd gone into witness protection. But the longer she stayed and kept the secret, the more she became resigned to the fact that it was part of her life now. "And yes I'm Faye," she said, directing the conversation back to Aiden. She would have to take some time to assess what Alice might be hiding later, though she knew it wouldn't be easy to decifer. Faye wasn't even sure if she wanted to know.

*Rayne Dawson*
Rayne was about to say her normal introductions to Aiden, which mostly would have consisted of tackling Aiden for messing up her hair and pulling him in to frazzle up his hair in return, but as soon as Alice introduced herself when Aiden asked, Rayne's head snapped in Alice's direction. Not holding anything back like usual, Rayne spoke her mind. "Oh, I see how it is." Rayne growled with her eyebrows narrowed. "Aiden here gets you to pop out your name just like that- and-ugh. Fuck it. You're Alice. Was it that hard to say?"

Usually, Rayne would still be fuming but with Aiden, the only person on Earth that she could trust, was by her side and she couldn't be happier. She hadn't seen him in this whole entire freaking party until now, and she was excited to get a few drinks, get flat out drunk, and get some fun, which these two knew how to do- a little too well.

Knowing the bubbling- perhaps drunk- boy too well, she could see on his face that there was something exciting that he had to tell her, and she couldn't wait to hear it. After all, watching and spectating the crowds for drama was not her only way of obtaining high profile type gossip. Matter of fact, Aiden helped her out quite a bit in this area, and Rayne couldn't have gotten half the gossip if it wasn't for him. They were like a team, with the both of them they had their eyes on the entire school and not a single thing could slip past them.

After Aiden finished his introductions, Rayne playfully nudged him while taking a quick peek into his drink. "Yes, now that you're here, this party became lot more entertaining. And not to mention, your drink seems a little low, and so does mine now that I look at it. Empty cups, never a way to go for a party." Slinging her arm around his shoulder and dragging him off in the direction of the bar to take a quick break, Rayne leaned into his ear. "You got something good to tell me?"
