20. Ice
Hahngar had pulled one of his gloves off and had a look of intense concentration on his face. As she watched, the glove was suddenly replaced by a chunk of ice, and she raised an eyebrow. There were a number of things that could have happened there, and she wasn't sure which. So, she decided to ask him.
"How did you do that? Did you freeze it? Exchange it for the ice? Make the molecules decide they were something else?" Despite her attempt to maintain a professional tone, she was curious, and it showed. There was a spark in her eye that hadn't been there before, except maybe when she had examined the devices before putting one on.
