He had noticed Cynthia pause, an excited smile growing on her face before she vanished to attain a weapon at her brother's request. By thought he assumed it was some board that floated, but he couldn't see how that would be of any importance to them.

In a sense, her brother and her were as well. Healers with herbs that was, but something told her he healed with his ability. She was curious but they could all find out about each other once things were calmer.

Kaleo smiled, before grabbing their hands and tugging them gently to follow him.. He led the two of them to the containers with their names, guiding Vendy's hand where she needed to press. "Thank you, Kay." She heard him give a grunt as the sound of the container opened. He reached down grabbed her bag and opened it. The sound of pills could be heard clanging against the bottles.

"Sweet, do I have something to swallow them down with?" She took the blindfold off as she accepted the bottle from Kaleo. Her eyes were already hurting. They took in the damage from the kitchen through the walls of the room they were in. That would not be fun to fix or clean up. She groaned before tossing a few pills into her mouth and dry swallowing. It was unpleasant but not as unpleasant as the pain. "Ugh..." Kaleo gently patted her back. "Thanks..." She blinked a few times, trying to let her eyes adjust to everything. There really had been a lot put into this complex structure. "Even with my meds, this might just give me a headache..."

Aiden's head turned towards the sound of someone shouting and banging against the glass of their pod. He turned his attention to them, walking over to glance down at the man. He removed his glove once again staring at him, "Calm down and close your mouth unless you want to eat something akin to fishing string." He stated before pressing his hand against the glass and it slowly turned into clear strings that fell on top of the panicking man. It didn't take long for the entire lid to 'melt' away into the strange strings. Aiden however was starting to get a foul plastic-like taste in his mouth. It was strange and told him that the lids of the pods weren't actual glass, there was some other type of material. Or perhaps a mix of different materials. Either way, it was unpleasant.

Hidalgo grins then says" It beats walking when your tired and it can go up some of the sloops and such because of the magnetic grip". " I'll let you go on mine sometime so you see for your self how much fun they are". The door to my pod opens, and I climb out, growing the spider legs on my back to help me. I look around, taking in the sight of the other pods, and head towards Jaxon, using the spider legs to get me there faster. Jaxon, were are we? What happened?

This hoverboard thing seemed interesting, but also sort of scary. Alex had always been one to like his feet planted firmly on the ground. But he would certainly give something a try. Besides, if he got on this hoverboard and it could make travel somewhere easier it wasn't a bad thing. "Honestly it's a miracle any of us are willing to socialize at this point. We've all been put through hell and back I'm sure. By the way, is your sister okay?" He asked with a small frown, "I only mention this to you because...well...she smells like poison. Not just one type...but several. As the leader of my group I worry about the others, but I've never had a sibling. I don't wish to cause you worry, but I do want to let you know to keep a close eye on her."

"My experiment name was Heightened Detector. I'm able to taste, smell, and even touch something to see if it is edible, or drinkable. It can be overbearing at times. I plan to go outside to feel around. While outside I will switch my senses to smell and taste. Focusing on what I can find nearby and where we should go or avoid." She said before glancing at Jaxon as he joined them. "Switch your senses?" She nodded, "I can sort of turn off my other senses to focus on one or two of them. I had only started learning to do this before those bastards put us to sleep. So it's really imperfect and the last time I did it. I sort of lost myself. I was unable to move...also couldn't hear. I'm hoping to test it out again and see if I can get it down this time. Or at least close." Jaxon frowned, "That...sounds risky to try on our first outing." Jaxon turned when he heard a familiar voice, "Henry! Glad to see you awake!" He said with a smile, "As for where we are...we honestly don't know. Some specially built lab... It seems we weren't safe the entire time we'd spent on that island. It was just another trap..." Cynthia's eyes followed Jaxon's and she nodded to the person that had called to Jaxon. Her eyes rolled along the spider legs with mild curiosity. The scientists really had made whatever they could, experiment-wise.

Maybe I should check the kitchen out...it looks damaged from what I can see." She blinked a few times as she forced her vision to turn back to normal. It was difficult. Her eyes always wanted to view the structure of things, rarely ever giving her a break. She hated the blindfold and she knew those bastards could have made her something better. They just hadn't wanted to waste more time with her. "You stay with Trin. I'll go look at the kitchen." Kaleo nodded, watching Vendy start to head in the direction a few others had.

Hidalgo let's a half smile cross his face then says" Oh yeah for some reason, it went sideways a different way for sis, I've been giving her some medicine mixed into the foods till the day we were put in the pods that is to stabilize it, i'm still trying to work out a better formula but it's hard pin down the right". He pauses for a minute then says" I don't remember much about what happened to me, but for some reason i feels like i have a lot of blood on my hands". " Well in any case for the time being i can barely remember anything so no point in trying to force it".

He can hear several conversations near by and then says" Vendy me and Alex are about to go outside to check what's going on the kitchen is a bit of a mess, but i'll be able to do a lot of the work as an engineer but i will need help with the more delicate parts of a full fledged electrician". " I'm hoping my hunch is wrong and there's material in a depo somewhere in the lab, but in my experince it's never that easy and chances are we will have to make a lot of the stuff".

"I'm curious to see what the world is really like now. Is it as they say?" she mused, glancing curiously around and taking in the sights. Noticing her sister's infectious excitement, she said, "You seem thrilled about this." Standing shoulder to shoulder, she added with a hint of playfulness, "Did you sprout taller or did I somehow shrink?" A slight pout formed on her lips as she teased.

Trinity, with worry, etched on her face, cast a glance at her friends as she delved into her bag in search of something. An unspoken fear lingered in her mind - the fear of losing more of her eyesight if she were to unleash her powers again. Sighing, she clutched her bag tightly before turning around, her gaze scanning the area. "Where did Vendy go?" she pondered out loud, her mind preoccupied with her thoughts. "I wonder what it's like outside," she murmured, her eyes darting around as she tried to pinpoint his location amidst the surroundings.

"I was born this way, so for the most part, there weren't too many problems. I say that but there were times I almost lost myself to the lion's side. My first shift was incredibly painful and that was the first time I almost went full lion. But from the sounds of it, you two weren't born as experiments." He turned his attention to as Vendy approached them, "Are you sure you're good to have that off." He asked as his eyes landed on the blindfold now tied at her throat.

Vendy waved off Alex's concern, "They gave me this ability so I might as well use it. The structure of this place is rather intricate but I do not see any section within here that holds stuff to fix what has been broken." She paused as she scanned over the rubble, "One of the mainframes has a slight crack in it which isn't good, but also isn't terrible. The wall is ruined, but you guys can clearly see that." She rubbed at her temple, "I'm sure these people wouldn't have left us without any sorts of supplies, but if we go off a quick fix...chopping down a few trees and clearing out the rubble would be our best bet. If we go to look for a depo I wouldn't be surprised if it ended up buried with whatever has happened with the outside world. I'd say we are pretty lucky that we didn't end up buried alive. Things have a different texture about them. they all do. So I can at least tell you when you walk out that door we won't be flooded, or have dirt pour in." She turned, "There is something I want to check out though." She pointed towards a part of the floor, it was a slightly darker grey than the rest of the floor, "There. It's a panel that can be removed and a set of stairs...they lead downward....rather deeply and..." The faint glimmer in her eyes flashed, making her flinch. "Okay, that's enough... You are going to hurt yourself at the rate you're going Vendy. At least we know there is a hatch there that leads down some dark creepy place." She chuckled at him, "You really don't do well with small dark places. I was mainly letting him know, he seems like the adventurous type. I could be wrong, but I think it might lead to a main power system. If that's the case it needs to be checked out."

Ellawese turned as she listened to Jaxon, a small sigh leaving her mouth. "If everything happened like the scientists told me, we are the last remaining humans on Earth. As for the location, I can't say for sure since we have no idea what has happened if the world really did come to an end. I can tell you the location before that possible end was in some secluded area in Colorado. But we can't rely on that if the end happened, large bombs in general can change a decent about landscape-wise." She sighed, "Also I feel those bastards should have informed all of you guys with this information. Not just the Leaders. But we all know they were not accommodating."

Hidalgo lets out a dry laugh at the interactions over all then says" oh i was born like this, they just thought it was fun to stuff all kinds of crap in my body to test it's limits, i can't be fully sure but i probably died and came back at least a few times, it's like the grim reaper is like hell no you have work to do son". He pauses for a bit then says" I can see in the dark for a number of reasons but you young lady aren't going anywhere with out the right tools and such, once we have the right gear and such we can form an exploration team".
" As for the quick fix idea for now if it turns out there isn't a depo then that's fine, but i need an area to make some plaster and such". He continues to walk till he's outside and then says" well from what i can tell the air isn't toxic but it's not the freshest eaither".

Alex followed Hidalgo, walking through the door, he was right. The air was breathable, it wasn't terrible. If he had to be honest though the air smelled more clean than what it previously had. Something else he noticed was there was no other scents of humans anywhere in the area. He shifted to his lion form. His body shifted and he raised his nose to the air again. There was still no sign of people. As far as the eye could see there were no other man made structures. A vast forest filled their view, and the sounds of animals filled the air. There were strange-looking plants and trees from where they stood and Alex let out a huff, "I think its safe to say that the world certainly did come to an end..."

Vendy stepped out with them, her eyes not hurting as badly now that they were in the building and she wasn't looking at any structures. "It's beautiful..." She muttered as she glanced around the landscape. "And probably filled with dangers." Alex muttered. Vendy groaned, "Okay can't you be positive for at least two seconds?" Alex shook himself, his thick mane waving slightly in the wind. "I was being positive when I said the world ended. Should mean we don't have to deal with those bastards like before." Vendy rolled her eyes. "Yeah...yeah."

Henry always seemed to worry he might scare people. Then again a lot of people were scared of spiders, which he thought to be a rather irrational fear.

He pauses for a minute or so as he takes everything in he then turns to them then says" I hope we both wrong and the depo is working and has supplies, but for now we should set up more make shift defenses and the like"

Vendy chuckled, "I will admit it's kind of funny that they were so smart when creating us, but didn't think to set up any sort of security measures around the lab. I see nothing for it. Building a simple fence for right now should work. I say simple since we might not want to venture out too far just yet. As for a depo, I swear they had mentioned something to me about there being some building set up to have supplies.."

Alex|28|BE Leader|Location: Lab|Hidalgo, Vendy
Alex frowned, "Why would they tell you that and not me?" "Maybe because I'd be the one to find them with my ability unlike you? Especially if they are buried underground." Alex groaned, "I swear they didn't know what they were doing, except for toying with human life." Vendy shrugged as they walked around. "I really would like to venture out though, all the plants look gorgeous. Reminds me of the island, but I know better than that." She pointed towards some tall thick trees, "Those will be excellent for building a fence and even covering up the hole in the kitchen." Alex sighed, "There does seem to be a decent amount of foreign-looking plants. Also, how do you expect us to cut through those?" Vendy shrugged, "I'm sure we can figure it out. Isn't that right, Hidalgo."

Aiden Luxwell|28|LE Laborer|Location: Lab|Torry, Echo
Aiden's words didn't seem to break through the man's panic. "Calm down please!" He growled before pressing his hand to the pod's lid, the machine was shaking from how badly the man was panicking and it was making an alarming sound. Aiden's power couldn't seem to work fast enough and foam was coming out of the man's mouth and Aiden knew it wasn't a good sign. Slowly but surely the pods like gave way but the man still seemed to be seizing. He tried to pull the man from the pod and help, but as soon as he got the man out he stopped breathing. "Shit...no..." Aiden's mind reeled with how to save the man, but try as he might it was to no avail.

Echo Chofen|16|LE Laborer|Location: Pod|Aiden, Torry
Echo had been awake within her pod for about five minutes, she heard some man's desperate voice and opened her pod to glance down. She threw her legs over the side of her pod, reaching over to touch the pod belonging to the now-dead body. "It's not your fault." Her soft voice said from next to him as he glanced up looking at the girl with strange magenta eyes. She smiled at him, there was a dead body in front of her and she was smiling?!?! "I couldn't save him!" Echo let her fingertips fall from the dead man's pod. "His name was Torry, regeneration was his experiment. However, they didn't account for how cold weather affected him before putting him in a cold sleep. After waking up his body was unable to handle the change. He was likely sick on top of panicking since his pod malfunctioned." Aiden felt shocked, "H-how do you know all that? Why are you so calm!" Echo shrugged, "I hacked into the pod and found out his information and what went wrong. I'm just letting you know it's not your fault. Besides death is nothing new." This young girl was so unphased by this that it scared him slightly.

Runar|24|BE Forager|Location: Pod|Anyone
Runar's pod lid slid open and he blinked a few times, taking in the sounds. He glanced over taking notice of a young girl and a man next to someone who was clearly not breathing anymore. His first instinct was to vanish. He didn't notice anyone from his group and it made him panic slightly. He camouflaged stepping out of the pod and walking around. Then he spotted Kaleo and Trinity and felt a bit more relaxed, reappearing near them. Though he hadn't yet approached them, trying to figure out what was going on.

Hidalgo nods as each point is made then says" I'm ok with that ideas for kitchen and fence, I can come back later with a better idea of the materials on hand". He pauses for a minute then taps his first into his palm, before putting the tiles down it would be a good idea to reinforce them and make sure we use at least some semi waterproof glue or the like". He then gets another idea and says" vendy when your eye sight is even better I'll lend you my hoverboard and make you some gloves while out and about".
He then turns to alex then says" I can teach you how to make basic sensors and the like at some point very soon".
