"Yeah, this is Kali." He said gesturing to the girl next to him. "She's new here and I'm trying to show her around a little before the next class starts." He thought for a second. "Wheres your twin? Did he make you late again?" He said rubbing his head again and giving her a warm smile. He wanted everyone to feel comfortable around him but so far this year everyone seemed shy. Could it be because he was so tall?

Looks like she was successful. Jessi didn't feel as though she was being rude at all. She gave a smile happy that she got his name right. Her eyes shifted to the other. "Hello Kali. My names Jessi. It's a pleasure to meet you." The topic of her brother. Never able to escape from that one. Jessi chuckled a bit while answering. "That oaf always makes me late. Demetri is probably sleeping in the hall, though. So where are ya'll off to now in the grand tour?"

"Math class." I said. "We have just about the same schedule so I'm showing her all the classes she has. Do you happen to end the day with theater?"

Kali moved behind John a little more. She was almost glad that they had bumped into this girl so she could relax and breathe normally for a second. When John mentioned her name she peaked out and looked at the other girl.

"Lucky... I have to go to PE." Sighing about her next class, her teeth caught a hold of her lip ring. The mention of theater made Jessi smile. It was one of her favorite classes after all. Yet, not many actually knew that. "Yep. They are already trying to round people up for this years play."

"Kali has theater to end the day too. I was hoping you could show her the ropes when its time for that class." John said smiling. He hoped Kali wouldn't be mad at him for trying to arrange a 'mentor' for her.

Jessi gave a smile. "Sure, I wouldn't mind. If that's okay with you, Kali..."

Demetri gave a yawn and slid back up the wall. His cropped black hair shook as he looked around. "Sis?" He was confused on why she just left him. Jessi would normally beat him until he woke up again. The man sighed and walked down the hall. His eyes spotted the familiar individual causing him to rush past and into the gym.

Her head followed him walking by leaving her to mutter under her breath. "Idiot..." A smile came across her again since she was with other people.

Kali gave a quick nod and then shrunk back behind John. She thought this Jessi was pretty nice, at least to other people than her twin. Kali was a smart young girl and even though she didn't say too much she often noticed and heard lot's of things, one of the benefits of keeping your mouth shut.
Kali was pretty confident that if there were more people like John in this school she would like it a lot more. Though when she did get to liking it, her parents would probably tell her that they were moving again for the same old reason and excuse.

"I don't think we will have enough to get to the math class so we should head off to gym." John said to Kali. Then turning to Jessi "Guess we all have gym now too."

Kali followed behind John and Jessi as they walked to gym. 'Please don't be the same, please don't be the same...' Kali repeated over and over. There were only a few reasons why Kali hated her last school, one was gym and another was the people there.

Jessi nodded. Why not? It gave a shot to make friends. She walked along side with John and Kali. In the gym, a ball buzzed by their heads. Demetri jogged over and made sure everyone was okay. "Hey, I'm sorry..." He rubbed the back of his neck in shame. "I really am sorry..."

The younger sibling rolled her eyes and turned to the other two. "Are you guys okay?" She quickly shot her brother an evil look.

"Its ok." John said almost laughing in good humor. He noticed Jessi giving Demetri a cold look and tried to ignore that. "So what are they making us play today? Capture the flag? or we starting off with kill the carrier like last year?" John said to Demetri. He didn't have anything against Demetri and Jessi but when they were together things could get a little awkward. He wished they would just get along for once.

Jessi looked away. Demetri brightened and chuckled with John. "No, man... This time we are playing Dodge ball. At least that's what it went to from Capture the flag." Odd transaction but it caused Jessi to look back to her brother with a confused look. His eyes looked at the young woman behind John. "Hey. What do we have here?"

Kali found nothing humorous about anything that had just happened, but she giggled anyways. Giggling was normally her response to anything she didn't understand. Also Kali didn't understand all the madness in between Jessi and her twin. But why should she. She was an only child, the closet thing that she had to a brother was her best friend which she left back in where she used to live. Sometimes they fought, but he would always win, Kali wasn't much of a fighter.

Kali came back into the world from her "day dream" and worked up the courage to answer Jessi's twin. "Uh... I'm uh... I'm... K-Kali."

"Dodge ball... great..." He said. Everyone else aimed for him figuring since he was tall and strong he would be good at dodge ball which was completely wrong. He wouldn't throw the ball for his life, but at least he would catch. He could see Kali was nervous when talking to Demetri and was thinking about saving her from this but then again she needed to make friends. He figured he would let her talk a little at least. Just enough to get acquainted.

Demetri smiled at her response. "Hi Kali. You're a little cutie. The names Demetri." The normal reaction came out. In truth he was only being friendly. Jessi rolled her eyes again and tried to ignore her twin. No one understood why she was cold towards him but he was her brother. Their whole lives together... a lot builds over time. "You're new right? I mean I haven't seen you around before." He began to feel worse about almost hitting them with the ball. Most of all John getting aimed at, which wasn't really all that new.

John nudged Kali out from behind him just enough where she was in plain sight. He held a hand on her back so she couldn't retreat behind him. He knew she would have to get used to Demetri and seeing how he wasn't exactly the type of person she normally talked to he new he would have to give her a little push into conversation.

'Cutie? Never been called that before, oh well.' Kali thought. She gave John a certain look of madness for just about three seconds, not long enough for anyone to notice, about being pushed out.
Kali was okay at sports, but she was especially good at skiing, skating, and a few things like dodge ball, but of course she never showed or told anyone. 'Dodge ball, perfect! This time I'm going to show this school I can play it like I made it!'Kali thought as a sly smile came onto her face for a moment but soon disappeared. If she could work up the courage she would fulfill her wish.

Demetri rubbed his neck again. He couldn't blame her for not talking to him. "Sorry... Better let you guys get going, huh?" His eyes looked over Kali again and gave a grin. "It was nice to meet you. Hope to see you around." His body turned and rushed back into the game instantly throwing the ball and tagging someone out. One of the best games he was good at. It was even the sport that showed his often sleeping stages were not all he was about.

Jessi looked at her brother. She even began to feel bad for him. He wasn't great at talking to women even if he was a sweet heart. 'Poor guy.'

John watched Kali rush into the crowd of people. He was surprised but didn't show it in fear of someone asking him about it. I didn't think she would be so excited about dodge ball... Especially considering her shy nature... oh well. I guess it's time for me to join to. He walked over to join the game when the coach told him he was on the jock team. Even better... I'm not even on the team with my friends... John walked over to the jock side and grabbed a ball out of the air that was thrown way to high.
