Dash Hill High School

Kali was put on the opposite team of John, but it was okay. When it came to sports Kali's shyness went away. Her best friend (the one I talked about before) had taught her how to play and got her liking it.
After a few minutes, the game was ready to start. The jock team threw the first ball...

John dropped the ball he was holding when he heard the coach blow his obnoxious whistle. It would be fine it if was normal but this one made a screeching sound instead. In his opinion it was worse then dragging your nails down a chalk board. He watched as one kid threw a ball. He stood near the back picking up balls and tossing them to anyone that asked him for one.

A ball was thrown at Kali and caught and returned. The kid throwing was tagged out and a smile spread across Kali's face as she watched the ball hit him in the leg. 'Got'cha!'she thought.

John smiled watching Kali having such a good time. She was talking like she hated this class before and acted so shy but now looking at her... she's a completely different person. He watched as she caught a ball then heard coaches loud invidious voice yelling at him "Grab a ball and throw it, instead of making goo goo eyes at the girls!" He was one of the few people that knew I could throw a ball hard and accurate but chose not to. John didn't like the idea of hurting others.

Seeing Kali play, shocked Demetri. He gave a smile. She didn't seem all that shy anymore. His eyes scoped out his sister who stood there watching. He threw the ball and hit her in the chest. He burst out laughing with her face in an angered mood. Jessi huffed and gave an evil smile. "You wanna play?" She tossed it to Kali. "Just you wait until the next round!" She hollered. Jessi was enjoying herself even though she reallyy didn't want to play.

Demetri looked over at Kali and tossed the ball low to her feet so there was no way she could catch it to get him out.

John looked over and saw Demetri on his team. He didn't realize Demetri was a jock. I guess this team isn't so bad. John continued to stand where he was. He caught a ball that was thrown at him only because he was to lazy to dodge it. He could see the kid walking off to the side and regretted it. He didn't like to make anyone sad or knock anyone out of games where the strong pick on the week... like dodge ball.

Demetri shifted his way beside John. He gave a small nudge. "Hey, don't look so down for getting that guy out. It is only a game after all." He picked up a random ball that rolled towards him then quickly twirled in a circle letting the ball go when the circle was complete. The ball sling shot across the court hitting someone in the shoulder. The male twin was very hyper. Yet, it was normal for PE. He loved it after all.

Jessi jumped up with joy shouting and cheering. Sadly, everyone was mixed up. "Go Kali! Go John!" She continued a bit and even cheer unexpectedly. "Go Deme!"

Kali quickly looked over at Jessi, but just as fast returned to the game. John was a good catcher, though she didn't understand why he wouldn't throw it. ((How many people are on a team?? So far the jocks are -1 player)). A ball came flying down by her feet, she jumped up and then quickly ran back to get it. She looked at the other team. 'Who to throw at? I wonder...' for a moment she stood there, but then the coach started yelling. "You, Missy!" he began. "Get'a throwin'! Don't just stand there!" "Yes, sir, coach, sir." Kali answered, just the same as an army man to his general.

(I guess we could do like 10 on each side. How many down on each team? -1 jock -3 other?)

He said to Demetri "Yeah... I know." Only sounding half convinced. He could hear the coach yelling again and it annoyed John. He didn't like how the coach yelled at people, he thought it was wrong for the coach to yell at people for something as simple as gym class. John tossed the ball to Demetri. "You throw it." He said. At least Demetri isn't going to hurt anyone with it.

((Hmm... Honestly I don't remember. I haven't played Dodge Ball since being in ROTC. It really doesn't matter as long as its enough people to have fun. I mean in ROTC we had over 20 people on each team. So it's all up to you all.))

Demetri heard the coach yell. He looked over at Jessi and have a skeaming grin. She caught it and nodded. Her body jogged over to the coach acting all worried. "Coach! Hey coach! A group of kids are skipping in the halls!" With in that instant, the coach rushed towards the exit. He was often up tight and gullible. She gave them a thumbs up. Coach free. Annoyance free. It was great. Demetricaught the ball John tossed to him and threw it leaving it to barely miss a guy who was targeting everyone. The guy chased the ball, picked it up, and chucked it at John. It was going to hurt if it hit. He jumped in front of John getting hit with the ball. Sadly, he caught it after the bounce making him out. He smiled at John tossing the ball back to him. "You can do it." He stood up and ran towards where Jessi stood.

((We don't play dodge ball in ROTC... o.O Lucky. We shoot guns, drive boats and fly planes after a month of learning how and endless tests.))

John looked around for someone to give the ball to. He didn't like throwing it, and never had since freshman year when he hurt a kid on the smaller side. He threw it to a kid named Joey. Joey wasn't great at throwing but always bragged about how he can get anyone out if he wanted to. Joey thew the ball at Kali and completely missed. Some of the other kids laughed at him. John was more relaxed now that the coach was gone. He just hoped someone would think it would be funny to lock the coach out.

((How about 15 in between 10 and 20 :P now it is -2 jocks, -3 Kali's...))
If this was a war Demetri would have been wanted on everyone's team. "Free-for-all!" Kali screamed. Immediately dodge balls started flying through the air. "Come on Demetri and Jessi, join us!" Everyone was spreadout in the gym.

When john heard Kali yell 'Free-for-all!' he sighed and walked over near the wall. Whenever someone would throw one at him he would catch it and toss it back. That was a bad idea because they would just try again until three people were trying to peg him. He ended up holding a ball and blocking with it. John slowly made his way out of the gym. He stood just outside the door waiting for the bell which wasn't going to ring for another 20 minutes.

Kali rushed over to John. "Hey what's the matter? Come on, I like it!"
She gently tossed the red ball at him. "Please?"

John looked at her still a little surprised that the shy girl in the halls was now so social. "Uhhmm..." He couldn't think of anything to say. The one sport that he didn't like was dodge ball. "Well..." He was still trying to think of an excuse and looked around quickly. "I'm keeping watch for coach... He should be back anytime soon." He said hoping she would buy it. It was a good excuse and something he would be more than happy to do but something told him she wouldn't let him stay outside of the gym.

"My n-name is Ellie, K-Kale. Um, c-could you just show me a-around for a bit, th-then we could decide on a n-nice place to g-go..." Ellis replied. Ellis tried to come up with ideas for a non-annoying conversation, being the terrible socialist he was, as he stepped through the looming door way. As per usual, Ellis was too caught up in his thoughts to pay attention to what he was doing in the the psychical world, thus once again falling past the door. Except this time Kale had a firm grip on Ellis' hand, so he too was yanked towards the ground. Ellis felt no pain from slamming into the floor, since he did it so often, yet he wasn't so sure about Kale. "A-Are you alright?" Ellis inquired, hoping he hadn't hurt Kale. Stupid door, stupid hand, stupid floor. If only I wasn't so clumsy, then...

"Okay... well, you're missing out!" Kali said as she gently punched John's arm. Kali threw a ball and then ran back over to her "spot" in the gym. Glancing over at John every once in a while, smiling at him. For once she wasn't shy, but she knew she would be shy again as soon as John took her to math class.

Jessi rushed over by Kali and slightly whispered. "Is he alright?" She was actually really worried about John just leaving. She took a placement right by Kali. Demetri rushed on the same team. He gave a wink at Kali and Jessi. "This means war!" He chuckled and took he place. His legs spread apart and body swaying. The man was ready to rumble. Jessi chuckled realizing many of the people playing weren't actual students in the class. More entered the gym and ran in to play. She shrugged it off. Watching her brother and the rest of his team closely.

"He's fine. He thinks he needs to watch for the coach." Kali shrugged and then returned into the game. 'wasn't there just 30 people before?' she thought.

John had originally thought it was just an excuse to get her off his back so he wouldn't be forced into playing dodge ball. He had a hard time saying no to girls like that. He looked up and could see coach rounding the corner looking a little ticked off. 'Great...' I opened the door and said "Guys coach is coming. Anyone who's not supposed to be here get out, he's mad."
