(OOC: uguu, so much happens while my internet's down)

Nathan was out of it for a while, just studying the world around him. He was often out of it, so much so his mother had once had him tested for narcolepsy. I hope those girls are okay, with all that harassment. Is it weird to have that high an IQ? Best not mention my IQ is 142 then... anyways I should probably find a partner: preferably not one of the pervy boys. Then again, everybody else seems paired up, and I could just do all the work so he can pester somebody else. After another minute of day dreaming, Nathan arose from his seat, and went up to the boy who seemed to be named Kale. Nervously fiddling with a bow on his top, Nathan asked, "W-would you be my p-partner? There's nobody else, and I-I can try my best at whatever the project is..." A breath of relief was sighed by Nathan as soon as he'd finished speaking. I managed to walk up to him talk to him with out doing anything embarrassing! Yay! I hope I can keep this up at this new school...

Kali smiled back at John. "W-well... I-I guess I'd like to checkout some other classes. Um... what are your classes?" she said. 'I wonder if we have the same classes.' Kali thought after a moment of silence.

((Hay how many classes would we have? I have 8 in my school but some schools have 6 and few have 10.))

"Well this class is a given. After this I have gym, then math, a free period, english, art, science, and wood shop to finish off the day. What about you? I can show you your classrooms."

"Oh, uh mine are about the same order just not woodshop instead um... what was it?" Kali paused to think, "Theatre, not my choice of course! Um... c-could I follow you around til the last class?"

"No problem. It would be a good way to get to know you. Oh check your teachers to make sure we have the same class." I said. "Also theater isn't a bad class... In worse case scenario at least it will help you with your shyness."

"Maybe," Kali sighed.
Kali was already warming up to John. He was charming and reassuring her, which no one else had ever done before. Her parents had already moved five or six times since she was born. Each time she lived in a different city or went to a different school. It seemed like every other year or so they announced "Honey, we have to move again. There are better job opportunities there, and great schools!"

"Well I'm sure we can Leave early so I can show you around quickly. The halls can get crowded and I don't want you to get lost." I said smiling as I stood up. I extended a hand to her in case she wanted it.

Kali looked at the outstretched hand for a moment and then slowly lifted up her right hand and placed it inside of his. Kali stood up and looked at John's eyes sending a silent message with hers saying "I trust you."

I smiled seeing her take my hand and I could tell she trusted me. I walked with her to the door. "Hay I'm going to show her all of her classes before we have to head to the next class." I said over my shoulder as I walked out into the hall.

Kale was glad this girl was so eager to join up with him "What a cute accent," he remarked as he pulled up her chin. "It'll be lovely to be with you, and all my pleasure." He spun her around and with a hand behind her back began to walk her towards the exit. "So where to first miss...." he left off, hoping she would fill in the blank.

Kali held John's hand when they walked through the hallways. Whenever a student looked at her for a moment she would grasp John's hand tighter. As soon as they stopped she would release.

I went around and showed her the gym. "This is the gym. It's a bit unfair when we do sports. All the big kids are one team and the smaller kids and those who are not athletic are on the other team. Over there is the girl's locker room and that one is the guy's." I told her.

Accent? More like a stupid stutter. I should probably tell him i'm not a girl...oh well, it's probably better this way. Better he hold me like this than beat me up like at my last school... Nathan tried his best to resist the natural urge to shake off Kale's grip. Clumsily walking forwards, Nathan replied, "I d-don't know. W-where is there t-to go? Since I'm new..." Nathan trailed off mid-sentence, forgetting what he was about to say. He was more occupied in wondering in what manner to open the door with Kale walking him like thins, since Nathan usually just fell through doors. "Oh, what's y-your name?" Nathan added. He already knew Kale's name, but he didn't want to seem like a creepy stalker or anything.

"Kale," he answered with a grin. "And yours?" he tried again. He opened the door and allowed the young lady to go thought first, still holding her hand; he didn't want her to get away after all.

"I-it was the same at m-my old school, with the teams and everything. I was always on the losing team. And the coach was a retired general, so h-he was pretty harsh." Kali said in a voice just louder than a whisper.

"Its fine. You'll be on my team. I know the coach." I said to her. "Lets go to math before the bell rings." I said as I started to run and pull her with me. "Its just down the hall but we have less then a minute." I ran slow so she wouldn't trip or fall behind.

The twins ran through out the halls. The female drug the male by the hand trying to find their class. Sure, they were late and sure, it was normal... but Jessi wanted it all to change. She was a decent student. The only thing that often made this seem false was her smart remarks and her attitude that went right along with it. Her long black hair waved in the older siblings face. Wasn't like he care, he was half asleep after all. Demetri yawned as he was half conscious on what was actually happening. He balled his fist and rubbed his eyes. "Sis..." He moaned giving another yawn.

"Shut up. You hit the alarm clock again."

"We're late?"

She sighed and threw him against the locker. "Yes you dimwit!" Her hands fumbled with the lock of the locker. It swung open and she pulled out some books. Jessi shoved them in his hands and ran down the hall again. "Have fun in class!" With in minutes she was out of sight. He slid down the wall and slumped over as if about to fall asleep again. His legs spread out in the hall and the books holding up his face.

As I was pulling Kali behind me we almost bummed into another girl. I quickly stopped and pulled Kali out of the way. "Sorry." I said to both girls. "Guess were both in a rush huh." I said scratching the back of my head with my free hand and smiling at the twin. I recognized her from class last year but couldn't remember her name so I just avoided saying it.

She quickly turned around after nearly running into two people. Her tardiness was a hassle at times and often made her come off as rude and even heartless. This time she was going to try to change that thought. Jessi smiled and let her head fall. Her sapphire green eyes stared at her bright and colorful chucks. The words had escaped from her lips. Time had passed. She needed to speak before the normal impression came off on them. "I'm... I'm sorry." She wasn't normally shy but there was a first for everything. Her head lifted to catch the eyes of the two individuals before her. One she recognized. The woman's stiff figure softened. A smile shortly followed. "Don't I know you?" Jessi paused then soon spoke again. "We have a class together!... Umm..." Hoping she didn't get his name wrong, she took a chance. "John... Right?"
