Elthrial Mortelle​

Elthrial smiled as they put in pitch black, They all fell asleep on the couch. She had woken early to get up and get ready for practice. They all practiced on the weekends for the next few months. Her feet were definitely hurting at the end of days. she had classes and no breaks on weekends any more. She has many parts to dance to in this Ballet. she would go in earlier then the other's and stay all day. She was sweating by the time she got to her and Hydes dance. She was always moving about. Now it had been a while and tonight was opening night.They had their costumes. El had got two of the backstage people to help her change for every scene. they were one after another so she needed quick change and all her outfits on stage. She was in the back lifting up on her point shoes and laying her feet back down. She couldn't wear them in the first scene She had gotten new pointe shoes her others were worn out. She had her costume for the opening scene on and her hair in ringlets. Mara only had one quick change, she was lucky.

Damien stark​

Damien groaned as they put in pitch black. He laughed as Mara would hide during certain parts. He just held her and finally fell asleep with her in the couch. They all practiced for the next few months El more so then the others. They barley saw her except for hyde who had two dances with her. one for her class and one for the nutcracker. El was always gone dancing she danced round the clock for her classes and this show. It was now opening night and El was in the hall breaking her pointe shoes. He walked over and watched her." Hey ready El. feel like I haven't seen you in forever." He said." Yeah and yeah just always in the studio." She said and took her pointe shoes off. She put her black ballet shoes on.

[fieldbox=Hyder P. Winston, #1e4d27, dashed, 22, Book Antiqua]Hyder found himself in some fancy get-up... an outfit he would never be caught dead in in the 'real' world. Compared to his normal sweatpants or jeans and t-shirts, this outfit was extremely tight-fitting, uncomfortable, and made the tall male feel quite exposed though it was a full body suit. Using the back wall of the stage as a stretching vice, Hyde stretched for a bit before hearing the familiar tones of his friends voices. Walking over quietly he was behind Elthrial and in front of Damien. Gesturing for Damien to stay quiet he walked over and lifted El into the air, the same way he did during their dances. They really did make a good duo, and they fit well together... So long as Hyder never had to sing, he would be completely fine. Placing his gorgeous partner back down he looked around "Have you seen your Clara? or is Mara still trying to tame her un-cooperative hair and dress skirt?" he chuckled lightly, his question meant mostly for Damien as they had been spending quite a bit of time together lately, but Elthrial could know too... they had probably seen each other the least, but the two females were close, so she might have an idea.[/fieldbox]
[fieldbox=Mara A. Argyris, #8c8284, dashed, 22, Helvetica]After that movie night, the freedom of the foursome had basically vanished, especially El's. They seldom had any free time to spend as a group any more. There were a couple of times over the next few months that Mara and her male counterparts hung out, and she ended up crashing on their couch more times than she would like to admit... But once they graduated at the end of the semester they would probably all rent out a house together or something, so it's not like it was anything new to them. As the months flew by in a blur, Silver learned her part forwards, backwards, and every which way possible... now the only thing she needed to fix was her unruly hair. It was the perfect length and the brown with the natural light auburn and dark golden blonde highlights that came from her head looked splendid when it was curled in those perfect ringlets, tied back with the light pink or purple bows... depending on the scene... but getting her soft hair to keep those ringlets was a terror. They managed to slip even with what seemed like a half can of hairspray. Finally, between herself and some of the students who focused on theater hair, make-up, and costume design they were able to achieve the look. Thankfully that was the only real issue though. Mara was able to pull off the 11 to 13 year old Clara and the tattoo on her shoulder was always covered thanks to the old fashioned dresses that she actually really liked... despite not always being the easiest things to move in.[/fieldbox]​

Elthrial had stood up just as Hyde lifted her. She let out a small yelp. She turned her head holding her pointe shoes. For most of her practices she just wore ballet shoes and danced on the balls of her feet. When it came to dress rehearsal and rehearsals on the stage she had to be in pointe shoes. She sighed and looked around as Hyde asked." Their finishing up with her because her hair won't stay in the ringlets and they have to figure out how to put her dress on after the party scene with out taking the curl out." She said. she cracked her toes on the ground and sighed she was happy to be out of her pointe shoes. The lights flickered on and off." Five minutes. I have to go back stage see you guys later." She said and kissed Hydes cheek lightly to not get red lipstick on his cheek. she do it after the show. She felt like she had pounds of make up in. she ran to where her change area was and put her pointe shoes their. She had the crew help her fix the bun that held her wig ringlets. She sighed and saw her friend run to take her spot in stage. She was not a red dress and had a red bow. El smiled as she got ready. She was a mother and got her family and Husband together. She wish it was Hyde but he be on stage with her after the fight scene.

Damien Stark ​

Damien kept his mouth shut as he watched Hyde pick up El. She yelped and he laughed." Come on El should of expected that." He said. El sighed and answered for him. He had no idea so was glad she did. When the lights flickered. He nods as El ran off for back stage."Got to go as well man see you back stage." He said was drosslmiers assistant and would have to follow him around as well as do the nutcracker and prince.

Listening to the music, Hyder had been to more rehearsals than he had needed to be at because of his friends, so he knew exactly what part they were up to and when. As the back curtains opened slightly for him to slip through, making his grand entrance, Hyde was aware of some very certain people sitting in the first rows: talent scouts and reporters, the people who could make or break you in the entertainment industry. If there was ever a time to pull something off beyond flawlessly, this was definitely it. Hell, if they pulled this off, El might get drafted for one of the broadway shows like Wicked or Legally Blonde... or really anything. They could all be drafted.[/fieldbox]

Argyris, #8c8284, dashed, 22, Helvetica]"finally" Mara breathed as her 'crew' as they started to be known as was able to finish her, giving Mara all of about five minutes to stretch. It wasn't long, but it would have to do as she was on almost immediately. Spotting Damien on her way onto the stage she gave him a quick hug and told him to break a leg, aka good luck for theater people, as she waltzed onto her set spot, in position for the curtain to rise, the lights to shine and the music to begin.[/fieldbox]

(time to confess... I saw the nutcracker once about 14years ago, and I slept through most of it... I just know a few characters, so my posts may be a *tad* weak right now X3 ... also, are they dating and stuff or just working up to it?)​

Elthrial Mortelle ​

Elthrial had danced in the party scene. She changed quickly for the snow scene and danced that as well. She then had to change to be the sugar plum fairy. She stepped on stage and danced as she waved her hands. she smiled and the curtains dropped. She walked off the stage finally. She sighed it was intermission. She sat down in the back and drank water as she rubbed her sore feet. She shook her head as she spoke to some of the other dancers. When they came back on stage she danced showing 'Clara' the other places. She danced in her other 5 dances. Hyde danced with her and the ballet came to end with curtain calls. She got flowers from the director of the ballet. She bowed and smiled when the curtains closed. She walked off stage to her bag and breathed. She dressed in sweats and a sweatshirt.. She walked out in fuzzy boots and waliked for her friends she and Mara had to stay later to do signings as the Sugar plum fairy and Clara. She saw Hyde a day ran up smiling as she hugged him.

Damien Stark ​

Damien danced and smiled he hugged Mara and they went through the whole show. He smiled as he watched Elthrial and Hyde dance. Damien did curtain calls and went to change. he waited outside with Hyde and mara. Els costume was hard to get out of and she had a few to carry. Damien was waiting to ask Mara out till El got there.

[fieldbox=Hyder P. Winston, #1e4d27, dashed, 22, Book Antiqua]As curtain call came to a close, Hyder smiled as the crowd cheered for Damien, Mara and Elthrial... actually, he cheered with them. Those three had the biggest parts in the show and they certainly deserved the cheering and standing ovations they received. When the curtain was lowered once again, Hyde had wanted to go see his friends, but almost immediately Mara and Elthrial were being bombarded with autographs, pictures, flowwers and the like... and in the confusion he had lost Damien, so Hyder simply headed to the dressing room and got out of the annoying costume and make-up. He was still wondering how girls survived with so much gunk plastered to their faces all the time... then again, it probabl was not near as much as he had to wear when performing. Eventually the crowds disappeared and the boys could reunite with the true show stoppers. He hugged Mara quickly then quite literally swept Elthrial up off her feet and spun her around quickly before stopping but continued to hold her. He figured her feet were more than killing her by now and it was a miracle she hadn't torn a ligament or something in the past few weeks. "You did awesome Elthrial" he smiled at her, gently kissing her forehead and turning to look at Mara and Damien "so, are we all going to the after party or are we heading to the apartment to catch up on sleep?"[/fieldbox]
[fieldbox=Mara A. Argyris, #8c8284, dashed, 22, Helvetica]After a few hours of twirling, leaping, sashaying, plies, countless other fancy moves and being lifted, Mara was almost relieved it was done. She had had a grand time, but it was quite a long performance... and she and El had been in basically every scene. As soon as the lights had gone off and the crowd had dispersed Mara practically ran to the dressing room, had another crew member unzip the back of her dress so she could shrugg it off, toss on a sweatshirt tha said 'Dance.' and slip both her pointe shoes and her basic ballet shoes into her dance bag so she could put on fuzzy socks and a pair of long ugg boots over her socks. As usual, she had leggings on as well, she had just rolled them up above the knee for her performance so that the pantyhose she wore as part of her costume covered them. After she walked out and joined the guys, Mara realized Elthrial was probably still getting changed, her last costume looked to be quite the pain.[/fieldbox]​

Elthrial had her tight corset leotard on and it was purple. She had to slip out of it and her tutu. she put her bra on and a shirt. She pulled her tights up and had her fuzzy boots on.She put her hood up, and walked into the cold to her friends. She was picked up by Hyde and spun her around. he held her and she laughed.She had dropped her bag by the rack that held her costumes. She sighed and leaned her head on his shoulder. It was nice to be off her feet for now she have to do it again tomorrow night. "we should go to the cast party for a bit then go rest and watch a movie. I miss hanging out with you guys." She said. She hung on to him and clung to him." I have to put my costumes in the car." She said and had Hyder put her down. She went to grab her rack of clothes when 3 men walked over." Excuse me are you 4 Clara the sugar plum fairy, cavalier and prince?" One man asks. El looked at them." Yes?" She said hesitantly." History were the casting agents for Hollywood, broadway, and Hollywood records. We loved all 4 of you. Though we really liked you Elthrial we like to see if you can act and sing as well we have Auditions for Wicked in January and you will be Graduated by then." Give me a call Monday and will give you the details, we have seen you in the college production of Rent. we really want you." He said. El took the card dumb founded. she cleared her throat." Oh wow um thank you." She said." Also the 3 of you we like to extend an invite to call us we have many things open." He said." Go enjoy your night, be safe." He said. they left and El turned to Hyde and her friends." No way." She said


Damien Stark ​

Damien picked Mara up and put her on his back. He looked up when the men came up and talked to them. He dropped his mouth and took the card." Yes thank you." He said. He kissed Mara on the forehead as she stood next to him. He smiled when they left." Wow El that is amazing." He excepted said." Oh that reminds me miss Clara." He turns to Mara. " Would the beautiful miss Clara do me the honors and go out with a man like me." He asked her. El smiled and bit her lip watching her friends.

He knew Damien was planning on asking Mara now, Hyder had planned to ask Elthrial later that night, preferably at the party. It had sort of been planned that way, since both of the guys had guessed the girls might say yes they figured ask on the same day but a couple of hours between. It just seemed like the right idea. When the scouts had handed Hyder a card he had meant to thank them, but he sort of just stood there dumbfounded. He had watched both of his siblings in similar situations, but never expected to be in the situation himself... after all, he wasn't the theater guy, he was the jock... the jock who also had an ability and an affinity to dance...singing not so much and acting was definitely not his strongest field, but he could pass it off if he really tried. "Alright, so party it is... but let's try not to get drunk... especially you two love birds" he joked lightly. It was pretty obvious that no one would be getting hammered considering they had another six nights of shows and seven more performances left... now, the party after the last show, that might be a little different.[/fieldbox]

As modest as she was, this wasn't the first time something like this had happened to her... granted it had been a while considering she had decided to go to academy, but when she was younger a few of the scouts had done the same thing for her... she actually was supposed to do voice overs for an entire series when she was sixteen, but the show was canned after the pilot. The response was just that something was missing. "Thank you sir" she said, giving the talent scouts a warm smile before looking up at Damien as he spoke to her. Now that was a surprise. Staring at him speechless for a moment, Mara's heart doing flip flops she raised up on her toes, wrapped her arms around his neck and gave him a gently peck on the lips as her mind began to ask again. The man she had been swooning over for four years now, finally she knew he felt the same way. "I thought you would never ask" she smirked, letting go of his neck and wrapping her arms tightly around his torso and leaning against him "Of course Damien, I would be honored"[/fieldbox]

{gah, I had literally jusy finished Alexis' CS on the other RP and was about to hit submit when I accidentally unplugged my laptop and it turned off... I have to re-do it all}​

Elthrial was excited, she sighed and shrugged at Hyde." Please probably be an extra if anything it is an opportunity though." She said. She kissed his cheek and smiled," Though if it is more, your coming with me to the top. I could never leave my beasties behind." She said and wrapped around him." Alright let's go And trust me no drinking here. Also awwww Mara and Damien that is so sweet." She said. She smiled as they walked to the car. She got in the front seat and let Hyde drive to the after party.

Damien Stark ​

Damien smiled and kissed her back." Alright let's go." He said and carried her to the car. He put the costumes in the back under Els bags. He sat in the back with Mara and kept and arm about her." Oh yeah about time huh missy." He said. he winked and kissed her head. They got to the party and Damien took Mara out of the car holding her. El got out smiling she had been looking at the card wondering if she should do it.

This certainly was not his truck, but it was still a nice car... and besides, being in NYC, his car wouldn't last a day... and he'd have to fill his gas tank after five minutes no doubt. Chatting as he drove, time seemed to fly bye and in the ten minutes it took to drive to the After party, a ride that felt like three minutes, Hyder had to drive around the block once more to find an available parking spot, else deal with a parking ticket which was something he would gladly avoid. Climbing out he opened Ellie's door and held out his hand "May I escort the beautiful and fame-bound Elthrial Mortelle to this uh... fantastic after party" he smirked. Hyder was trying to put on an attitude that just read joking and lightheartedness, but he was truly serious. As they walked in, Hyde noticed his hopefully girlfriend-to-be was looking at the business card in a certain way "Hey" he stopped, placing two fingers gently under her chin to raise her gaze to his "you better not be thinking of throwing that away. A pot of gold just fell into your lap, take it, promise me you'll call on Monday"[/fieldbox]

Obviously everyone's feet were hurting, but this wasn't too bad, it didn't put a ton of pressur on the feet by swaying back and forth... though there was no way anyone would be 'dancing' for too long "sorry if you had something else in mind, I just like to dance" Mara semi-smirked.[/fieldbox]​

Elthrial was still debating it. She kinda wanted to rip it up. She didn't want to go with out hyde. It was however a wonderful opportunity. she wondered if Hyde would from with her. she smiled if he asked to escort her. she put the card down and got out of the car. She sighed as she looked at Hyde. He lifted her chin and she looked " I don't want to go with out you, Hyde I know this is an opportunity." She said." I will call if you go to the auditionsun with me." She said. Elthrial sighed," Alright Hyde let's go see about this after party." She said and smiled she wrapped around him.

Damien Stark ​

Damien smiled and noticed El. He knew she was debating the card. He knew she ate dinner to leave her friends behind. She needed to take it though. He talk to her later about it. He got dragged to the dance floor and they swayed. He smiled at Mara." No worries my little clara.excited we have 7 more shows of this. let's not have those feet fall off"he said and winked at her, He picked her up" How are you doing." He asked her." wonder how El is she seemed to be thinking about the card to much." He said. " You know her best will she do it?"he asked mara." If not you should convince her mar." He said." I would convince you to go." He said
