- I really like modern roleplays, especially hings involving romance and family. I also love fantasy, especially anything involving magic, mythical creatures, or gods and goddesses. Fandoms are nice, if I can play an OC. Since history is one of my passions, I like doing historical roleplays, mostly renaissance, 1800's, early 1900's, ancient civilizations, and anything wild west-like or based on pioneers. I do like Sci-Fi, mostly dystopian with some sort of rebellion or strict customs, something like that. I also like roleplays that take place in space if they have a good explanation of the universe that it takes place in. I'm not a big fan of horror or mystery, unless the horror is a sub-element to something else.

Headmistress Anise Mandover
In the year 2022, intelligent life aside from humans finally made themselves know to the world. For twenty years, the world was thrown into disarray until the formation of the World Council. However, Inter-Species conflicts continued to disrupt everyday life in the New World.
In the year 2046, the World Council settled on a solution known as the Integration Effort and the faces of the Effort became Nylock City, a city with all of the species known to the International Data System living in it, and Chintamani Academy, the first ever Inter-Species school. Later, the school would become one of the most prosperous schools in the world despite the Inter-Species development and learning. It produces some of the most accomplished people in the world as well.
With the introduction of the Integration Effort and Law 446, two hundred thirteen year olds were randomly selected every year to leave their family behind for seven years to attend a school with people of every species. Some look forward to attending Chintamani as it is one of the best schools in the world. Most, however, do not want to go to the academy. Of course, no one has a choice in the matter. If you get the letter and refuse to attend Chintamani, you will vanish in the middle of the night. -
Vampyres
Vampyres are without a doubt the most dangerous of all the species. They thirst for human blood and are virtually useless without it. Most Vampyres have some kind of psychic ability from mind reading to psychometry. They also have increased stamina and reflexes compared to those of a human. Vampyres are required to take a Control Class as well as a Combat Class. On top of that, regular classes are also required.
For breakfast each morning, each Vampyre student is provided with a pint of donated human blood. Anyone exceeding this given amount or found feeding on human students will be severely punished. If a student willingly agrees to become a Vampyre's Blood Provider, they are allowed to one pint of their blood and the Vampyre will not receive his/her daily dosage. Contracts must be in writing and spoken with the Headmistress as a witness.
Alchemists
Alchemist are mostly average humans except for the fact they are able to use alchemy. They are bound by the laws of Equivalent Exchange, their need for alchemic circles, and ordinary human weaknesses. Each Alchemist is required to learn one field of alchemy and a basic sub-field. For example, one may learn Water alchemy as their main field and poison alchemy as their sub. Every Alchemist is required to take a Combat Class and a basic Alchemy class each year along with normal school subjects.
Every Alchemist is expected to have good grades and be a good upstanding citizen. Each twenty year old Alchemist is allowed to take on a thirteen year old Alchemist as an apprentice. They will be given an individual lab and will spend two weeks in the school's nearby forest before the end of the year for training purposes. Some do not make it back though as the forest is a dangerous place.
Humans
The longest known species. Humans are nothing special with no unique powers or anything else. They are very ordinary, I can assure you of that. The humans at Chintamani Academy are a bit different though. Unlike the rest of the species, the humans are selected at age twelve to attend a Prep School. There, they learn how to use at least one weapon in the most efficient way possible while also learning the weaknesses of the other species in order to defend themselves. The humans are often made the Peacekeepers of Chintamani and are expected to stop conflicts before they begin. Unlike the other species, the humans are also allowed to kill with good reason. Humans can also become Blood Providers for Vampyres if they so wish, but the contract must be in writing as well as spoken with the Headmistress as a witness. Humans are required to attend a Combat class along with their other classes. Each year, twelve humans are chosen for the Night Watch, a group that keeps peace between the species.
Elementals
Unlike Alchemists, Elementals are not bound by Equivalent Exchange or alchemic circles, nor do they need any knowledge about molecular structures or the elements. Elementals are able to control one of the four basic elements as well as their sub-elements. Fire Elementals are also able to control lightning, plasma, and lava; Water Elementals are also able to control steam, ice, various liquids, and blood. However, anyone caught controlling blood will be punished severely. Earth Elementals can also control metal, plant life, and sand {and by variation, glass}. Air Elementals are also in control of weather, sound, and temperature.
However, despite being powerful, Elementals are limited to what they have available. They cannot make something appear out of thin air. They are also limited to one power and have normal human physiologies, though they do tend to heal a bit faster. Elementals also have to work to build up their stamina and their ability unlike the other species. They are required to take a Combat class and a Control class alongside their normal classes.
Werewolves
Despite popular belief, most werewolves are pretty mellow when they're in their human form. They can be overprotective at times, but they are usually pretty good people. Werewolf blood is genetic and cannot be passed on through a bite. Werewolves also have an enhanced condition as well as the ability to create illusions. Werewolves are required to take a Combat and a Control class alongside their normal studies. Each full moon, the werewolves are released into the forest for the night to hunt. The rest of the school is on heavy lockdown and nothing can get in or out. Alchemists are also not allowed to be in the forest during a lockdown.
Every once in awhile, a werewolf will not turn back into their human form and they are put down. It is the same way in the rest of the world, seeing as it is no long a werewolf, but an actual wolf. Werewolves are given three large meals a day to compensate for their fast metabolism.
Psychics
These Psychics are much different than your ordinary over the phone psychics. Usually, psychics only have one of the four major abilities: telekinesis, teleportation, telepathy, or precognition. Some, in very rare cases, also have the ability to sense death; these are known as Banshees
Psychics are required to take a Combat and Control class along their normal studies. They are also supposed to write all dreams down for their Control teacher to over each day. Psychics over the age of seventeen are also put in charge of watching over younger students during Full Moon lockdown, because they can usually turn a werewolf around and see through their illusions.
Shapeshifters
Unlike werewolves, Shapeshifters can change their appearance at will. This shifting is exclusive to animals though and if a Shapeshifter stays in the same form for too long, they will often become animalistic and uncontrollable. Like with Werewolves, these out of control Shapeshifters are put down. Shapeshifters often have enhanced senses and physical condition. Rare Shapeshifters known as kitsune can turn exclusively into a fox, but they also have the ability to manipulate fire.
Shapeshifters are required to take a Control class and a Combat class alongside their normal studies. They are often put on the Night Watch during the Full Moon lockdown in case they need to take down an uncontrollable werewolf. However, this is the only time they are put on the Night Watch.
Sirens
Sirens are supernaturally beautiful and also possess the ability to manipulate people with the sound of their voices {this is not limited to any species}. Sirens fall into two categories: Mermaids and Harpies. Mermaids have tails when in water as well as possessing gills. Harpies have large un-retractable wings that can be tucked away underneath shirts; these wings do not give Harpies the ability fly.
Sirens are required to take a Control class and a Combat class alongside their normal studies. They are kept under strict watch by the faculty and the Night Watch.

❉ All students must be in their dorms by eight on the weekdays and ten on the weekends. No student is allowed out on Full Moon Lockdown. ❉
❉ For Year One to Four in each house, lights out is nine on weekdays and eleven on weekends. For Years Five and up, it is ten on weekdays and midnight on weekends. ❉
❉ Wandering the outdoor school grounds after dark is strictly prohibited. The only exceptions to this rule are the Night Watch, which are only allowed to make nightly inspections for students out past curfew. ❉
❉ Breakfast is served from six to eight AM everyday. Missing it will result in no breakfast. Vampyres are the exception with breakfast served after dark. ❉
❉ Lunch is served from eleven AM to noon on weekdays. No classes happen during this period, but classes resume promptly at 12:10, so please be prompt. ❉
❉ Dinner is served at six o'clock everyday and continues to be served until curfew. ❉
❉ Food from the dining hall is strictly prohibited within the dorms. ❉
❉ Chintamani is a year-round school. Thirteen year olds enter the Academy on December 31st every year and are not allowed out of the school grounds until graduation day. Letters may be sent home, but they are strictly monitored. Other than that, there is no access to the outside world. The school itself is about the size of a small town with all available utilities in a normal town, so leaving shouldn't be an issue. ❉
❉ Maiming a student {with the exception of the Human Rule, which must have good cause} is strictly forbidden and will lead to extreme consequence. ❉
❉ Humans are the only species allowed to possess weapons on school grounds. ❉

Rules
~ No godmodding, etc... Every character should have their weaknesses as well as their strengths.
~ If you have an issue with drug and alcohol usage, social issues, different orientations, or anything of that sort, feel free to live now. On that note, steamy stuff has to fade to black and go to PM. I don't want none of that. I don't care if it's mentioned, just don't go beyond that. Please respect other people's boundaries as well.
~ Every character has an important role, so don't worry about your character not being important.
~ Please be literate.
~ Romance is encouraged, but it should not be the focal point for all relationships.
~ Originality is very much appreciated. Tell me your character's favorite color in your CS.
~ Do not physically maim another person's character without their permission.
~ You cannot be your own love interest, spouse, or anything of that sort. That kind of ruins the point of roleplaying.
~ You can have as many characters as you want. Just make sure you can keep up with them.
