Peace was restored to Hopefalls. As Maximus was destroyed, simultaneously, all the demons and evil spirits were destroyed. Leaving a beautiful and prosperous city.
Finally Creed and Helaine could live the life they always dreamed, in peace. Above them, in a cloud of smoke a final explosion sounded as red, pink and blue sparks fell all around them. Creed, for the first time in his life, felt good. Actually and truly happy. He would gladly hang up his hunting career for a life with Helaine, and he hopped to raise a family with her in Hopefalls. As if in congratulations for their, long and thankless task, an applause exploded into the night. Creed knew they were clapping because of the fire works, but in the back of his mind he liked to think that they were clapping for them and their own "Grand Finale".
