Camp Happiness

Camp Happiness is a forested wilderness escape tucked somewhere in the heart of Maine, catering to the mental and physical wellness of young adults age 18-25. It's staffed by an excellent crew of qualified therapists, leaders, and counselors, meant to make your character's stay here something spectacular.

The camp offers a range of activities, such as the following:

-Horseback riding
-Swimming
-Biking
-Canoeing
-Wilderness survival
-Animal handling
-Group and one-on-one therapy

Campers are given dormitory-suite rooms, four to a suite with an attached bathroom, but unlike most camps, each camper will be given their own room for privacy. This is a therapeutic setting, and as such campers are reminded to be mindful of the needs of others in the camp.

Service animals trained for dedicated tasks are allowed, but pets are not.

-Please ask before inserting plot elements, as I have a few up my sleeve
-This is a modern-day RP. If you must play a fantasy character, please strip their powers so they fit the setting.
-Romance is allowed, but please get the other person and character's consent.
-Try not to one-line. Please attempt to make posts a paragraph
-No godmodding, bunnying, or otherwise being a jerk. If I ask you to stop doing something please stop.

Name: Phina Whitebirch
Age: 24
Appearance: Dark skin and curly hair that falls past her shoulders. Phina has a thing for tattoos and eye makeup, and has a large tattoo of bird's wings that cascade down her shoulders. Tends to wear shirts to show it off. Sharp facial features, very attractive.
Reason for coming to Camp Happiness: Phina has been spiraling for a while and recently wound up in the hospital on suicide watch. Also it gets her away from her parents.
Short bio/personality: Phina's father is an extremely powerful dignitary to an exotic European country. She's supposed to keep hush-hush about that, since the reason she's here is because she got caught up with a MUCH older than her politician, which has heavily jeopardized her father's career. In reality she was being taken advantage of, but it's not like her father cares, and she has rebelled hard

Name: Rannok Kelsall
Age: 21
Appearance: Blonde hair, blue eyes, and tan skin. Looks vaguely middle eastern. Moderately tall and lean, but kind of scrawny. Tends to wear a lot of sweatshirts and likes to be comfortable.
Reason for coming to Camp Happiness: Rannok suffers from PTSD and night terrors.
Short bio/personality: Rannok joined the military right out of high school, but scarcely made it a year before getting sent home after sustaining an injury. He won't talk about the incident, but it's left him terrified of both thunderstorms and horses. He wasn't injured, but he certainly hasn't been the same since he came home, and his family is deeply worried for him.

Name: Sasha Brown
Age: 19
Appearance: Short and curvy, with red curly hair that frizzes in a halo around her head. Hazel eyes. Freckles. Usually smiling.
Reason for coming to Camp Happiness: Her brother Damien died two years ago, along with a history of assault.
Short bio/personality: Sasha's parents run an inn across the country, and she's been helping run it since she was ten. She grew up very close to her older brother Damien, who was her closest friend and a shield against their abusive father. He died about two years ago, but recently the pain of losing him has become unbearable. She jumped on the opportunity to come here on her therapist's suggestion specifically because it gets her away from home.
