Hikari fell asleep as soon as he didn't hear Haruka replied. About an hour or so later he awoke, eyes staring directly at the window. It was light out, but not bright. He figured it was still early, but knew the sun would show itself in due time. Looking at his chair, Rin was still in her Haori burrito. Looking down at Haruka in his lap, she was still asleep too.
Shuffling, he made his way from under Haruka without moving her too much. He slowly opened his door, taking a step out before closing the door gently. He walked through the silent halls, yawning and stretching an arm before letting it drop. He made his way into the barrack's kitchen, eyes scanning the area. "Let's get to it, then," he spoke quietly before getting to work in the kitchen.
After a while, Hikari headed back into his office. He sat a wide tray down on his desk. Walking to a small lamp table that was cleared he picked it up, sitting it beside the couch Haruka lie on. He walked back to his desk, grabbing a tray that lie on the tray on his desk. He sat the tray on the lamp table for Haruka, for when she woke. On the tray sat a bowl of Steamed rice, a bowl of Miso soup, six pieces of tamagoyaki laid on a plate beside two pieces of grilled fish. The same for Rin lied on the desk.
He figured both were pretty worn out, so he decided to cook a breakfast for them to refuel them, especially since the events were kind of due to him. Looking out the window, the sun was fully out now, making him wonder how long he was in the kitchen. But it was morning, and he figured Rin, being a kid, would need to be woken up to eat or else she'd sleep the whole day away. Haruka, on the other hand, he figured could wake herself up. But he didn't want her to go without any energy, so he would wake her if need be.
Walking up to Rin he slowly shook her, causing her to let out a breath. Opening an eye, all she did was stare at Hikari. "Wake up, little rock. You have food waiting for you, you need energy."
Slowly sitting up, Rin pushed herself out of the Haori. She stretched and yawned. Hikari picked her up, along with his Haori, and sat down with her on his lap so she could reach her food. She reached and grabbed a piece of fish, nibbling on it tiredly.
