Overview Rules Celebrations

The Beginning
Many teenagers all around the world have been developing powers recently. There are some who can read mind, some who move things with their mind, and some who can see the future. Each and every power is unique and has its own little flaw, but the government is going crazy and trying to figure out why teenagers are developing these powers. They're poking teens with needles in hopes of finding some connection, but as far as they can see, they are random and there is no pattern.
Seeing this as a good thing, the government welcomes the teens to a facility to learn more about them and offers them a place of safekeeping. They learn about a few different teenagers and began to stick them in on government jobs to use as a new weapon. That is until a huge star comes right for the earth and burst open, but instead of hurting anyone, it takes a few people. These people are random also, but the government targets the unique teens as a threat, and begins to worry.
In confusion of this, they hurry to capture and/or kill any teenager who has or shows signs of developing odd or extraordinary abilities. Scared and confused, many teenagers, with and without abilities, began to flee and look somewhere safe. Somewhere where they will not only be accepted, but they will feel accepted. A place like Berkeley.

Berkeley
Berkeley is a very unique place that not many people know about. That's because it only shows itself to the ones it wants. If it wants you there, you will be able to see the massive castle on each map you look at, and it is told that a trail will be shown to you to lead you there. Because Berkeley is not seen by many, the people who are inside are well protected and cared for. The only question is by who?
Inside of Berkeley there are many different things going on, but the number one goal is to protect its people. Berkeley is not a house, but it is a city that has unique powers of its own. When it wants to be seen, it can show up wherever it is needed, whether it is in Japan or America. When it wants to be kept a secret, it makes itself disappear. For thousands of years, this city has lived off of the power of these teenagers who have been able to do and learn these unique abilities.
The people inside of Berkeley is what makes it keep running, but recently it has been failing. The flowers are not growing back in the springtime, people without powers and who are not called to Berkeley have been able to see it, and the more it travels each day, the slower it gets. It's obvious to the members of Berkeley that something is obviously wrong, and it all started the same night as the star hit the earth and burt. Even the people who have lived in Berkeley their entire life have never seen anything like it, but it's up to the new set of teenagers to now save not only Berkeley, but the world too.

The Story
When the government officials begin to notice that the teenagers are disappearing and are nowhere to be seen, the forces become more powerful and no one will rest until they have the teenagers. While searching for the unique powered kids, one by one, each government official who ever came in contact with the teens are disappearing along with the ones already gone in the ball of light.
The remaining government officials blame this on the kids too, and are convinced that they are working with a larger power. Whether it be some kind of god, the devil, or who knows what else, they believe that there is no hope for them and begin to push the human population into safekeeping, trying to save them from the enemy, not realizing that the enemy was really themselves.
Each teenager who receives a new ability was visited in the night by none other than the future. They have a mission for them, but can't let them know who is giving them these abilities. Each ability would come in use for the future war that would break out against the government and then people of the world. At the end of the visit, each kids mind was swept and was left with only fragments of that night, including their new ability. Now they are stuck to decide which side they would be on.
The bad side, or the good side. Whichever side they choose, they will be placed in classes and learn to work with the other students, while training for the upcoming war that will decide whether good always ends, or if bad is getting the side of it now.

Dorms /Classes/Activities
Each dorm is set up in such a way. There are four bedrooms, two bathrooms, one kitchen, one living room, and one dining room in each hall. The males and females will be split up into different halls and each gender has four halls.Each person who comes into Berkeley will be assigned a class and school based on their abilities. Each student will also be assigned a set schedule. There are many activities allowed, but you must have between two and three.

New Members
New Members are required to read each and every rule of the schools and of the creater's, MarilynFae. If you do not follow these rules, there are consequences. Rules can be found in the 'rule' tab.

POWERS
Telekinesis - The power to manipulate/influence/move object with your mind. If I must put it simply, she can move stuff with her mind. It's all about controlling and manipulating things with her. Whether it be a living animate object or a person.

LIMITATIONS
She has little control over her power, so when she is purposely trying to use her telekinesis it takes a lot focus. Deriving her attention away from her surroundings.

She can only manipulate objects that are in her line of vision and around her.

Her emotions also play a huge part in powers. Most of the time it reacts to her feelings. When she's angry or sad her powers go haywire and out of her control. When she's afraid or stressed they'd be weakened, especially when she's trying to use them. They react in many different ways based on her emotions.

PERSONALITY
Cassie can and is qualified as a loner. She doesn't like people, and people don't generally like her, she avoids them if she can. To be honest, she doesn't even like herself very much, she's very self-loathing. Which explains only half the reason she harms herself very often. She actually has a very high pain tolerance physically, but her heart is a delicate matter. And that's why she's either silent or ignores whatever person she comes in contact with.

Though, she's not exactly quiet either. When she does talk, she's very sarcastic, pessimistic, and expresses her dark thoughts. She's a downer to be around if you only just met her, and not to mention, she's very inexpressive, showing that she doesn't give any fucks. And she's aggressive, very quick to fight you.She'snot very trusting of people, always doubtful.

Once you get beneath the surface, you will actually see that she's a very warm-hearted, selfless, witty, yet still sarcastic, person. She can be fun to be around, and yes she can smile and laugh too. She just has to be around the right people. Every time, she cast aside her own feelings for other people's, especially those she cares about. She hides and shield her feelings anyway, often lying about them

And though she's a pessimist, she still does long to for something optimistic in her life. She wants to change and be better.

HISTORY
At the young age of six, Cassie parents abandoned her in a crowded area. They were never good parents, to begin with, they neglected her and when they did pay attention to her they treated her badly in many ways.They were a poor family with too many issues. Nonetheless, it still hurt to be abandoned by your only family.

Ever since things did not get any better, she was dropped into so many homes that abused her in different ways. By the time she was 12 she had started getting herself into so much trouble. She even started doing things, horrible things to get people to like her. Not once in her life had she ever been liked yet alone loved.

By the age 15, she had gained real friends. Two of them, Joey and Alex. They did everything together.It was when she starting developing her powers that things changed. She was terrified and told the only two people she could trust. Alex ran away scared. Joey was confused and ran off too.

Alex had run off and told authorities. They came after her using a trap, knowing how dangerous she was.They were going to use Alex to try and persuade her to go with them or trick her into their hands. Joey had learned of their plans and ran in to help her. However, she was confused when the authorities busted in and thought they both betrayed her.

Her emotions went haywire and so did her powers. She ended up hurting and maybe even killing a lot of those people. And even though Joey was hurt, he still told her to run. So she did, she ran to find Berkeley.

POWERS
Telepathy - The ability to receive and transmit information through the mind. In simple terms, it's all mind games and she can mindfuck you. Meaning not only can she communicate through anyone mentally, but she can manipulate their mind as well. She uses mind control and illusions.

LIMITATIONS
She can only control so many people's mind at once. If it becomes too much for her, she gains extreme migraines and nose bleeds. Sometimes it even renders her unconscious.

When controlling someone's mind, she goes into a daze and is unaware of the outside. It takes a lot of focus.

She can't control someone's mind if it's blocked by heavy or thick metal. Whether it be a wall or not.

Giving people hallucinations isn't the best idea for her. Because her mind isn't as strong as it needs to be, she gets caught up in hallucinations as well.

PERSONALITY
If you were looking in the dictionary for the definition of 'Crazy bitch', you would find Sabrina's picture there. Seriously, they don't call her a bitch for no reason, yet alone crazy. The girl is mean and cruel, she's worst than Regina George. She appears to have no sympathy for anyone and will talk to anyone however she likes, except to authority or to people she needs or wants something from. She's an actor, okay? And she knows how to get what she wants when she wants it. She's also two-faced. And a liar, obviously, she'll stab you in your back too if she needs to. So, don't trust her.

And then there are her other many issues. You know, besides being a mocking, mean bully/bitch. It's practically her job and she enjoys it too much. However, even when she is verbally abusing you, she just grabs the truth and twist it to look horrible which is how she hurts people and make them cry. She doesn't necessarily like making people cry, but if it happens it happens.

Anyway, it is obvious that she is mentally ill. She has outbursts and mood swings and always takes it out on someone else. You could just look at her and she'd curse you out. And she also has OCD. God, do not screw her things over or leave a huge mess. Because she can't do anything until everything is just right. Adding to that, she hates change! This makes her bossy and controlling. As for her schizophrenia, it's there because of her powers, so when she is hallucinating she just stops moving completely.

Yet, Sabrina does not try to hide her sicknesses. She embraces them somewhat, allow them to be. She takes great pride in every aspect of herself. No secret, she's egotistical, selfish and spoiled rotten.

At this point, you'd think she's absolutely detestable. But. no. She is not. She does have good in her, and only the people who have become her true, genuine friend knows what her other more genuine side is like. That she can be sincerely super syrupy sweet. And naive in a cute way. If you screw with her friends, she will personally come after you and ruin your life. She's overprotective and affectionate.

Truth be told, she's just a spoiled innocent child who doesn't know any better.

HISTORY
Sabrina had a lavish life full of posh. Her family was a very wealthy one, so she got what wanted all the time. They appeared to be a happy family, it was not. She caught her father in the act if an affair, and it was a continuous one. But her mother was too head over heels in love with her father.

So, one day she told him that he'd better not bring that whore again. And that was the first time she had ever been hit. And it hurt. After that, she decided to stay out of her parent's problems. She focused more on herself and her dreams, such as her acting and cheerleading.

It was around the same time that her father died when she started developing her powers. Her mother fell into a deep depression.
And then she had the bright idea to use her powers to help her mom. She manipulated her mother's mind and gave her illusions to make her happy again. Every time her mom looked sad, she used her powers.

It backfired. The more she screwed with her mother's mind, the more unstable she became. Her mother went insane. But she still had a clear enough mind to remember who messed her up. She called Sabrina a monster every time she saw her.

After such a traumatizing event and her mom got taken away from her and put into a mental home, she left. It was too painful for her to stay at home. So, she packed her bags and left to find this Berkeley she heard of.

Electricity Manipulation - He is able to generate and manipulate electricity. This also means heal so has some control over electronics. And he can draw or drain the energy from these electronics or anything containing electricity.He is also not affected by electricity.

LIMITATIONS
Though he can generate his own electricity, he can only generate so much based on his energy level. Meaning, if he's tired he'll produce little to none. So, he drawing energy from devices and such is what he prefers.

Using his own produced electricity drains his energy as well, it takes a toll on his energy level. To the point that he could faint or even die.

He'snot really affected by electricity, however, you can short circuit him with water.

And he can only take so much electricity at once. His fuse blow if he gets more than he can hold.

Nick is a sweetheart. He is a friendly person, enjoying the company of many others. He doesn't limit himself to only a few friends. He likes to be around just about anyone and is very patient with even the worst people. However, if you insult his friends then he'll speak up against your actions. Nick is protective of the people he likes or just the innocent in general. He has a strong sense of justice. And though he doesn't like violence, he will fight you for them.

He's very helpful and kind as well, doing what he can to help anyone. He likes to be of use in any way he can. Though, he's also very gullible, believing anything that anyone tells him easily. And he's pretty clueless. So, he falls victim to many things and situations.

And he's cheerful, very optimistic, choosing to look at the bright side of everything. Because of this, he's also hopeful.

Nick has had a pretty average and maybe even boring life to some. He was born as the oldest of four. He has two little sisters, one little brother and the looked up to him. His parents also depended on him a lot to watch them because they both worked. They weren't a very wealthy family, but nonetheless, they were a happy one.

He started developing his powers when he was fourteen. He was with his friends when he completely became aware of them. Instead of freaking out, they all fully embraced his powers and tried to use it for fun. His siblings found out soon after and told their parents.

His parents were not happy to hear of this, they knew of the dangers going on with these teens. They forbid him to use his powers, especially in public.

When he was sixteen, they saw how things wee getting worst for these superpowered teens and feared greatly for their son. They wanted to send him somewhere safe but didn't know where. And that's when they heard the name Berkeley from one of their old friends who's child developed powers as well. With that, there was nothing left to say but goodbyes and they sent him off.

Enhanced Speed - It's pretty self-explanatory He has super speed. He moves faster than the human eyes can comprehend. One minute he's there, the next he's not.The same could happen to you if he moves you. Almost everything about him moves fast, his thought process, his perception, and even his metabolism. But because of this speed, it enhances his agility, reflexes, and stamina as well.

LIMITATIONS

If someone prevents him from moving before he moves, that's that.

His stamina weakens when he is tired or exhausted, it makes him weak. Weaker than without it.

His speed can cause burning and extreme heat from the friction of speed. He burns his clothes a lot.

HISTORY
Bart was born as a twin and to his adoring mother in father in UK. The two boys were their parents most prized gifts ever. They spoiled them and loved them, but disciplined them when they were bad. So, he grew up in a loving family.

He and his twin Benny did everything together. They were always by each other's side, though they were very different. They were inseparable. That is until Benny got his abilities.

Bart was the first know about it, he had some type of time powers that allowed him to stop or fast forward time. Of course, it was only natural that Bart was absolutely impressed and bedazzled. And then he had the great idea to use the powers for good like superheroes. And keeping it a secret from his parents.

And they did that, helping out with little problems. The more he used his powers, the more he started to change, and Bart was admittedly jealous of him. They grew distant after one huge fight.

It was when Bart started to see his brother becoming depressed, and noticeably sicker that he realized something was seriously wrong. So, he tried to mend their relationship and help his twin, Benny continued to push him away, but Bart persisted.

Soon he learned that his brother discovered an ability in his one, he could see the future in his dreams. And in his future he was dead. Bart refused to accept this and tried to get his brother to try and prevent it. He simply thought it was a solvable problem, something with his powers or an accident.

A few days later, Benny was diagnosed with terminal cancer and later died amongst his family, holding his brother's hands. This destroyed his parents, but him more, it was his twin after all. His parents divorced and he moved in with his mother. His mother turned into an alcoholic to deal with the pain, while his father tried to forget the past and erase the pain to start over.

After a while, he was able to smile again, he knew it was a cliche, but he knew Benny would want him to be happy. At the age fourteen, he gained his powers. And soon enough he ran away to find Berkeley.

Ability

Teleportation: Ethan is able to transport himself, others and objects to a different location without having to physically move. The teleportation of others than himself requires physical contact, and limits how far he can go due to the extra needed energy. The only exception to not needing physical contact to teleporting someone is switching places with them, taking their place instead and the other way around. For objects, he does not need to teleport with it in order to change its location. He does not need to be on ground to teleport and neither does he need to teleport to ground, teleporting in mid-air or in air is completely possible. Whatever movement he does before teleporting is followed to his new destination. If he walks before teleporting then he will continue to walk, naturally, after he has teleported to his new location.

Flaws:
- Sometimes he teleports unwillingly to a different location or just a different corner, it is completely random.
- Sometimes he cannot teleport an entire object, sometimes only half disappears and re-locates sometimes even less.
- He can teleport objects, but they don't always end up where he wants them to go.

Appearance

Hair color: Ethan's hair color is a dyed dark silver color. His natural color is a dark chocolate brown, but because he likes trying out new things and challenging himself, he decided to dye his hair into a new color and takes very well care of it (without being a total diva about it).

Eye color: Dark brown. Because they are as dark as they are, they appear to be almost deep. In clear light it is very obvious that he has brown eyes, but with light being absent or minimal, the brown color can easily be mistaken for black.

Weight: 65 kg/143 lbs. Ethan is physically strong and keeps himself in good shape with regular exercise. As the Student Council President he wishes to set a good example, and to keep himself in shape since he tends to spend more time in the room than he truly wishes sometimes.

Height: 186 cm/6'0''. Blessed with tall parents, obviously Ethan was going to be tall as well. It is only a shame that those legs are not used very often to walk around, when he can teleport to wherever he needs to go.

Personality:
✔ Hardworking: Giving up is not an option no matter what the situation is when it comes to anything that Ethan is involved in. Whatever he begins on he burns for with a passion, and it would take him a coffin and being seven feet under ground in order to give up or stop. Hard work always pays off in the end, and he knows it very well, it just takes a bit more time sometimes.

✔ Protective: Quick to react and strong, he becomes protective over others. Almost like an older brother, and he will more than lovely take you under his wing. He's not overprotective and doesn't put his nose into everyone else's business, but if danger ever calls then he is the first one to be there. Maybe because of his teleportation abilities.

✔ Neat: Having everything in some sort of order makes everything easier to find later. Some people might think he is slightly OCD, but it is simply because he loves keeping everything neatly and organized. He does not mind cleaning up after others, in other to not have it be messy.

History

Ethan grew up in a rich family. However his parents were usually too busy to do much with or for him, so most of his childhood is filled with memories of his older brother, Kai. The two of them were close to inseparable, and it was his only his brother that knew of Ethan's ability to teleport, his parents were too busy to listen to the story even if he had tried.

The first day Ethan gained his teleportation powers were a nightmare. In the beginning he hated it. One moment he would be sleeping in his bed, the next he would be somewhere in Paris in a t-shirt and his underwear. However, luckily he was able to rapidly teleport in his panic, even though the distance was short it was more efficient than running. Getting home could be somewhat of a problem at times, but there was nothing worse than that one time he ended up in China and for some reason his teleportation powers decided to put themselves on pause, so he had to order a plane ticket back home. Thank God he was able to teleport. Slowly, but surely he was able to get a bit better at teleporting and doing it more so at will, though he still struggles with some random teleportations happening.

However one day his brother woke him up in the middle of the night, ushering him to be quiet. Ethan was confused and unsure what was happening, until he suddenly heard something coming from downstairs. Kai had told him that they were wearing suits, they looked like government officials and it was unsure how they had gotten in without tripping any of the alarms. However the reason they were hiding was because they were armed.

Ethan didn't need to know anything else. He had heard other people with abilities like his speak of this, that they were disappearing one by one. . . that the government was working on killing them off. They were here for his head. He didn't fill Kai onto the details, instead he grabbed his older brother and teleported him out of the mansion quickly outside onto the pavement. He thought they were all good to go, until Kai told him that their parents were home.

Two gun shots later, they weren't "home" anymore.

If the two gun shots were for his parents was unknown, but knowing they were there to kill made the possibility to check unthinkable. He grabbed Kai and teleported them further away, on the other side of town before he thought they were completely safe. That is where they ended up splitting up, Ethan claiming it was too dangerous to be with him and that he needed to go to people like him "safe haven". Berkeley. He told his brother to leave the town, get far far away and that he shouldn't look back, no matter what the last thing he should do is to come back to the town, in the fear of him getting killed as well.

Kai ended up leaving the country, and Ethan found Berkley only a couple of hours later. The two still call each other every now and then, but none of them speaks of the incident at all, it is like a secret rule as to not to talk about it.

Jorge's father was a single parent; the boy's mother gave birth to him and then left. Like he meant nothing to her. He didn't know that he was in a lower middle class family until he was old enough to understand his surroundings, because his father never let him go without anything he truly needed. Jorge was a very humble kid, who didn't care to flaunt things. Though he didn't have the nicest of outfits or items as his friends in the school did, he did have some of the more up-to-date devices in his younger years. Initially, Ximena can seem very SHY, but her distance is mostly due to WORRY of making a fool out of herself and messing up in conversation. She is actually very INTELLIGENT but her adhd and processing problems make it hard for her to excel academically. Combined with her family's achievements, she has developed an INSECURE view of herself. She is constantly ANXIOUS about messing up in front of others, which her new powers don't really help with. Put her in front of a tv though and she is full of CONFIDENCE and focus. She's extremely PASSIONATE about gaming and cinematography and forgets her problems when she is dissecting a scene's editing or gaining headshot achievements. You may actually never get her to shut up at that point. Memorization- It may take her a while, but she can memorize procedural tasks and information fairly well, especially if it is written out rather than spoken. If something is drilled in enough times she'll be able to do it by heart.

History
Ximena's family is from Mexico. Her parents were really scholarly academics- her father is a literary anthropologist and her mother is a retired opera/theater singer turned music teacher- and they emigrated to the US for positions at Ivy League universities. People expected Ximena to be just as smart and successful as her parents, but her adhd made her fall behind in school and develop anxiety and insecurities about herself. She struggled for years as they tried out different medications and skipping school when it got to be too much before learning to scrape by through memorizing most of the information even if she didn't understand it. She was finally making some improvement when her abilities showed up, and then it was all downhill again. Every anxious worry seemed to come true, and the more anxious she got, the more impossible the event. It didn't take long for her father to realize what was going on, and in an effort to keep her safe, he sent her to Berkeley. She assumes they are alive, but there is a niggling thought at the back of her mind- what if the government found out about what they did to save her?

Philomena Nova Valdis was born to two wealthy business owners in Paris, France. Considered to be the fashion capital of the world one may have never guessed what businesses her parents owned, that's right, a clothing line. Her mother was the creator and CEO of a well-known clothing line for men and women of all ages. Growing up a single child meant that Philomena was spoiled to the core, the true princess lifestyle. She was given whatever she wanted whenever she wanted it without question. For quite some time she didn't even understand the concept of how much things cost.

It was at this point in her life, at the tender age of eight, that her father's business went bankrupt. There was nothing to be done to save the company and that drove him into a spiraling depression. That depression lead to displaced anger on his wife and daughter. Despite the hurtful words and abusive behavior the two still loved her father and tried to help bring him back. Eventually it became too much for Nova's mother so she forced him to leave.

The trauma from her father still haunted her young mind as the family tried to progress into the future. A few years later her mother was able to move on and remarried an African man named Mehkye. He was a sweet and caring man who loved Philomena as if she was his birth daughter. Having a new father figure to replace the old one helped fill the gap in her heart but the pain is still there buried deep inside where she hopes no one will find it.

At age fifteen she discovered her extraordinary powers after waking up from a dream. Since her and her mother kept no secrets Nova told her the next morning. From there she decided it was best to attend Berkeley so that she wouldn't be taken away.

Ever since Aramis was young he was always the favorite child, as most younger siblings are. His parents babied him until he was old enough to get his own things. This caused him to be so soft and lighthearted compared to the other boys of his neighborhood who were rowdy troublemakers. His older brother, being a whole five years older, took care of him and taught him everything he knew. The two were practically inseperable until their powers came in.

One night Allex's powers came in the form of light. Of course he told his younger brother to keep it a secret, which he pledged by his life, but he didn't want to burden him with this responsibility. So Allex ran away in the middle of the night two years later and no one has seen him since, although, he does still keep in contact with Aramis from time to time. The sudden departure of his older brother wasn't so heartbreaking because of this. As for his parents, they sank into a sadness that not even their favorite child could fix. They were a happy family missing one of its members and his parents could never cope.

Eventually as Aramis grew older his powers came about and he understood why his brother ran away years ago. So Aramis did the same, leaving a note behind for his parents on why he had to go and why Allex did as well. He hoped they would understand but his future now lies with Berkeley.

If he takes something apart, he won't necessarily know how to put it back together, and if he tries to manipulate any machinery or tech there's a high chance that it will break.

Curse inducement is, in essence, the power of using hexes and spells in order to cause misfortune. The form of black magic in many instances is practiced by witches, demons, and any with nefarious intentions. An experienced user may perform curses that contribute to mental insanity, illness, destruction, and in worst cases, death, not limited to but one, rather an entire populace instead. Those unwise or so engulfed by passion are most certain to wield this ability, and regarded to it is an inevitable reservation in Hell.

Strengths
Pertaining to her strengths, the Lily has substantial control over her ability, and hesitates not to induce bad luck on those whom cross her. It is seldom that her powers are used unconsciously, like in a case where she'd long fallen fast asleep but incurs mischief in her surroundings.

Weaknesses
The Lily is a weaker user. On the greatest events, she mightn't be the origin of a death; instead she may cause one to break their limb. Her ability allows for her to induce sickness for a mere spell, and only of which is as severe as the common cold. One may tumble, scrap their knee, or stub their toe somewhere, yet the pain is meagre and temporary. Lily of the Nile appears with an atmosphere of tension around her, and holds herself in a complacent manner. Throughout her upbringing, any luxury that the Lily had taken interest in would be bought for her—a behaviour which would then nourish her deceitfulness in the future. She befriended those of like households, and became popular in her class temporarily. It seemed though that this admiration from her classmates flowered into resentment, and she was mocked and tormented almost daily. They'd call her 'a brat', though they were much like her, and they were not hesitant to find humour in her name or her culture. This betrayal of her former friends would affect another aspect of her disposition—create her to be defensive and easily set off by the slightest threat.

It came to a surprise when her parents learned of her depression, a diagnosis made by her psychologist, and before she'd even reached puberty. Over time, the depression would become anger, and she became impatient and snappy. During middle school and early high school, she ran a clique of girls, one that she ruled with an iron fist. These schoolmates did not like her, and often spoke of her ill when she was not present. Despite this lack of respect, they remained silenced by the fear of her volatile character.

The discovery of her paranormal abilities came at a time unknown. At its very conception, peculiar occurrences seemingly followed the Lily everywhere she went. For example, a minor nuisance was destined to happen regardless of how safe and conditioned the place would be. The Lily started to take note of this, and soon began to question whether she was capable of having any form of paranormal abilities. After a bit of research was done, the Lily was surely convinced that something was not normal, and told her parents. At first, they did not think anything more than that it was a sheer coincidence. They'd then had a striking epiphany, because they too had observed these unusual circumstances that seemed to follow the Lily no matter what, and were eager to have her report to government facilities to get tests done. However, she did not perceive this idea well.

One day, she'd packed a part of her wardrobe, a few snacks, her portable charger, and a hundred dollars into her suitcase, and scurried into the dim night. At a point in time where she was merely convinced that she was lost and would not be able to return home, she looked at the map on her phone to see if any motels were situated in the proximity. Though there were none, her eyes came across a rather mysterious location—of the denomination Berkeley. The fact remained that Berkeley, California was miles upon miles away from the town which she resided, and that she'd never seen this name before. Though the path to this place was near, so she followed along the route for a few moments, and then she arrived there.

Ability

The Art of Magic: Alex is able to draw upon the powers of magic to create spells or do rituals to gain different kinds of effects. He is able to summon beasts to his side, manipulate everything around him and create portals to travel to one place over to another. Things can disappear and appear in the blink of an eye. However in order to do any of this, Alex needs to study the spells in the own ancient language of the book. While his powers may seem limitless and there is a lot of potential, there are plenty of limits he too needs to be careful of. The one magic he specializes is in light magic, making photons the only thing he is able to manipulate with his spells and without much of a problem, but therefore he can also not create light. He's dependent on existing light, if not then his spell will fade. Anyone else who dare to touch the spell book will feel a rush of pain going through their entire body, as if they are being consistently stabbed, and it'll graduate the pain until the contact is lost.

Flaws:
- In order to utilize a spell to its full potential Alex needs to know it inside out and all of the aspects of the spell, inside out, otherwise he risks a failure.
- Before using a spell he needs to speak the spell in the ancient language of the book, unless it is a very small spell then he does not need to chant before using it. An interrupted spell will not fail, it'll only fade into nothing with no effect.
- Failed spells (no matter how small) can turn into gigantic explosions of magical energy depending all on how badly a spell fail. It doesn't necessarily have to be something catastrophic either, it can turn Alex into a rabbit or mouse for a set of time or some other comedic effect.
- Rituals that summons beasts requires a sacrifice. It can be anything from an object to years off Alex' life.
- He can create water, fire, ice and-so-on, but he cannot manipulate it to any extend. He can make a snowball appear in his hand, but he cannot shape it to any further extend, from that moment on, it's a normal snowball.
- He has limited amounts of magical power each day, he can still use spells, but each spell he uses will hurt him. He needs direct moonlight on his body (making him light up as well) in order to restore his powers.

Appearance

Hair color: Alex' hair color is naturally a midnight black color with some very faint aspects of red into it, but from a distance --and most of the time-- it looks completely black. Under stronger light it is barely visible that his hair actually have some faint red in it.

Eye color: A very deep crystal blue color. His eyes is one of his most proud traits, as he finds the color to be very alluring. While they may look very dark, there is no mistaken that the color of his eyes are crystal blue, however while using a spell his eyes will light up, depending on the chanting the light will disappear sooner.

Weight: 54 kg / 119 lbs. While he is slightly underweight he does not have any eating disorder or problems eating, his body just doesn't seem to want to gain any weight.

Height: 174 cm / 5'7''. Being average height isn't too bad --though sometimes he is the smallest-- but he finds himself to be average, though truth to be told he is below average which is why most finds him to be a bit cute because of his height.

Distinguishing features:
- On his right cheek he either wears a band aid (the band aid changes every day) or nothing at all, which will reveal a scar underneath. It is red and looks like a cut that has not healed, but it will not heal further.
- He has a marking on top of his left hand. The marking indicates how much magical power he has left, the mark will be a bright blue color if he's full and then gradually fade to turn black when he is completely empty.
- Usually he'll wear a glove (colors differs from whatever he's wearing) to hide the mark, because it is sensitive to touch and it can potentially hurt others who touch it.
- A small backpack where his spell book is located among other various items.

Personal

✔ Playful: Alex is close to the borderline of being a tiny bit childish when it comes to his playfulness, but it makes him extremely friendly and outgoing towards others. He likes doing small (harmless) pranks, and can tease a little bit here and there, sometimes he can even be a complete and total brat, but if he ever thinks he goes too far then he will instantly apologize and let them take their revenge on him. Possible even be a bit pouty later.

✔ Loving: He tends to grow very attached to those around him (in a platonic way) and he's not shy to show that he appreciates anyone's company by giving them small gifts and surprises, wanting nothing, but their smiles in return. It is only one of his ways to show off his affection for someone, to thank them (non-verbally) for being his friend.

✔ Humorous: Almost like a puppy he always finds something fun to do and to lighten up the mood, or just to crack a joke in general --despite the timing being a bit off sometimes-- though sometimes it's greatly needed. It helps when he has the energy of a puppy as well, keeping him ready and energized for a little bit of a body gag, plain silliness, or jokes that are so bad they force a laughter out.

✔ Honest: If you are searching for an honest answer (that won't be brutal) then Alex is the person you would like to go to. He'd try to break the truth to you as much as humanly possible without making himself sound rude or hurt anyone's feelings, though he wouldn't be able to lie and sometimes truth just hurts no matter how you deliver it. He believes that truth is always the best option, because lies will be found out after a while and only hurt those who they lied to in the beginning.

✔ Loyal: The second you are Alex' friend he is there for you until death may tear you apart. He's extremely loyal and knows that loyalty is the most valuable thing in the entire world, his loyalty can only be earned, and --while it may seem easy-- that requires a lot.

✘ Impulsive: There is a reason why Alex is usually compared to a puppy. His attention can be just like one. He'd listen with 1000% of his attention, but when it comes to doing something he will think if it was a good idea a couple of days or even weeks later if he bothers to think about it at all.

✘ Stupid: Ask Alex about any of the many spells he knows and he'll appear like a genius in an unknown foreign language, but otherwise he might just come off as a little bit stupid. He's not a lost cause, but he's definitely below average, though he does try his best.

✘ Fearless: It has its positive and negative sides, but sometimes it is fear that keeps one from doing stupid dangerous acts that are simply not worth the risks or maybe there isn't even a reward at the end of almost dying. However, he'd never put anyone else at risk. He's only fearless if it is his own life that is involved.

✘ Secretive: He does not enjoy sharing anything about himself. Alex is not proud of where he came from, who he is or what he did before he came to Berkley. Even if he did it for his own survival, guilt has reared its ugly head toward him and has no intentions of turning around, so his past remains a secret for him to bear alone.

✘ Curious: Curiosity is good to some extend, but Alex' curiosity has only gotten him into a lot of trouble, sometimes it is simply better to turn away and not explore the unknown, some things are just meant to be in the dark forever. History

Alex grew up on the streets, ever since he can remember he was on the streets, fending for himself. He never had any parents, he never considered himself to have a place called "home" and neither a "family" to return to. The streets where like a jungle. Each fend for themselves, there was no pity nor mercy in the streets where he grew up. He got his name: "Alexander" from a poster of a street magician. The young Alex had seen one of his shows and gotten inspired. He hated this world, the world that had abandoned him and now left him to fend for himself, so why not bend the rules that the world had created to obey his own?

It took years for him to start to learn any of the basics card tricks, only after shoplifting a deck of card, and sometimes his simple tricks would pay off for him to earn some coins so he could eat every now and then, otherwise he had to just do with whatever water he managed to collect, if he was lucky enough for it to rain. The winters were the worst, being close to either freezing to death, dying of hydration or starvation. However he somehow managed to pull through it all, and if it was his stubbornness to not let the world win over him or just sheer willpower, he does not know.

Then a couple of years back when he felt. . . different. Different in many ways. Magic tricks weren't cheap illusions of the eyes anymore, it was. . . real. Flames could be conjured up in front of him, snow appear out of his hands. It was incredible. His magic shows began to become more popular, even more popular as time grew and then suddenly he was having his own show. It wasn't anything big, but for Alex it meant so much. He finally felt he find where he belonged, that his puzzle piece found its picture. He began gaining friends and even adults he considered to be his "parents". People that took care of him, welcomed him into their hearts and warmth.

But good things doesn't last.

His friends left after the government announced that all "specially gifted" children were to be handed over to them, that they were a threat to the nation's safety and anyone associated with them would be brought alongside with them. What they wanted was beyond him, but that was how they all left. One after the other, without a word and without a trace.

Alex' "parents" didn't last much longer. They had handed him over. Being promised money, a lot of it, more than he could ever earn at his current rate. That was why they took him in, that was why they cared. Money. Rage filled Alex' entire body, the fear of being abandoned and being alone on the streets filled up his veins. Betrayal was fueling his anger, poisoning his mind. Adrenaline forcing his heart to race in his chest. He stared down the government officials, seeing one of them reach their hands out to grab him, which he barely managed to dodge in time. However before he managed to get any further another man grabbed his left hand, holding it firmly.

"Let me go!" Alex had demanded, but was met by deaf ears. His pleading eyes went to his "parents", but there was no answer, there wasn't even a look.

When he had figured that all was lost. . . his left hand suddenly began burning. It hurt. It felt like he was holding it over an open fire. The man holding him screeched out in pain as he let him go, Alex stared at his hand to see a mark burned into his skin. His hand was covered in blood, but the mark was lighting through the liquid. This he had never done before. Before him he could see words, or what he presumed to be words. They were symbols shaped in strange ways, but nonetheless he understood what they were saying. A strong wind blew the men back along with his parents, but he stayed perfectly still.

Alex was just as confused as they were, his voice and mind working almost on their own. One of the men pulled out their gun and shot at him, but almost like a glass wall was created in front of him, the bullet just stopped and even shattered. He felt exhausted, his entire body was feeling like it would topple over at any minute, but he kept going strong. Pulling himself together he ran for the door, running as fast as the strength he had left would allow him to, only to be stopped by two cars with more people standing there.

Thinking he had lost, Alex was ready to give in, but a portal opened in front of him when he was about to walk towards them and instead he stepped into the portal and fell onto the ground somewhere else. In front of him was a whole city. . . the men were gone. He had escaped somehow. In front of him was a book, it held the same strange symbols, but he knew what the page that was opened said.

"You're on your own now,"

His cheek hurt. It was bleeding, it had somehow been cut. It was deep, but that didn't matter. He escaped. Alex picked up the book, clutching onto it, before he walked into the city. Whatever had happened, this was his second chance.

Second chance for life to screw him over again, or hopefully some sort of redemption.

PERSONALITY
Charlie is a quirky, dorky, playful sweetheart. And she always appears to be laughing. Really, she loves almost all of the time. And that's because she has a very wide and broad sense of humor. Sometimes, she accidentally laughs at things that are supposed to be serious, it gets awkward. Besides that, she's always playing and joking around with others and often derives from the path of work.

And she's rather optimistic. She always finds some way to find good in any situation even the most horrible situations. Though, sometimes that good isn't much and/or is rather comical. Nonetheless, it's hard to get this naive girl down. She's very thick-skinned, sometimes she might take an insult as a compliment. But she isn't stupid.

She's also curious and has a desire to help people, mix those two with the fact that she's romantic and you get trouble! She doesn't mean to cause trouble, but when she tries to help people, especially secretly, (she thinks of herself as a fairy godmother), she usually causes trouble when she means well. She has very little restraint when it comes to these things. She's so empathetic, she feels everyone's pain or happiness, she's easily affected. Even movies or books affect her. So, I guess she's pretty emotional too.

HISTORY

At the age of three, Charlie's parents died in a car accident. She sadly doesn't remember it much because she was so young. She could hardly understand why her parents weren't coming home or why she had to attend a funeral. Afterward, she was put into an orphanage because her other relatives refused to take her in. You'd think that living there would sour he spirits. But she had been taught by her parents to be optimistic, so that was exactly what she tried doing every time. But end up crying by herself late at night when nobody watches. But because of her pleasant personality, all of the little children flocked to her and was adopted years later.

Her adoptive parents were great people, they were kind and caring. Though, it only lasted for so long. They had issues because their biological daughter had gained powers and hurt people before being taken away. So when they discovered her powers, they abandoned her incredibly fast. So, she found herself back to square one, in the orphanage.

Eventually, she heard of Berkeley and fled there.

However, at the age of 15, while exploring the manufacturing plant, the first stage exploded. Hayley survived somehow, later it was revealed because of her powers, but her father had not. Her mother was beside herself. It took four days before she committed suicide. Hayley found Berkley not long after that. For a while she kept to herself, but she bounced back six months later. Elemental Manipulation
Ethan has full control over all of the main four elements: earth, air, fire, water. He mainly focuses on water and fire, which is kind of weird in a way, but he can do basically everything with those two elements, though he of course still needs work. He is kind of like the avatar. He can cause earthquakes, summon fire in his hands, bend water, and pick the wind into an extreme speed.
Strengths
Ethan has almost complete control over fire and water. He can summon the fire in his hands to throw or he can directly light the fire wherever his target is, though he usually summons it in his hand, because it is faster and takes less energy. He can bend water, make it part, breathe underwater, ect. He has also noticed that he has a strange sense for underwater animals. When he is underwater and breathing, he can hear the animals like they are talking like humans and they don't harm him, because he can talk back to him.
Weaknesses
Earth and air elements are probably Ethan's least trained and favored. He can still cause earthquakes and uproot a tree, but these take the most energy, and he has never been strong enough to break open the earth while causing an earthquake. His air is decent, but when he tries anything open 60 mph, he gets very dizzy. His fire is also harmful, leaving him with burns and scars on his hands, and he has been known to catch himself on fire a time or two. He is usually left with little energy, and fires are escapable for him. If he were in a fire, he would be harmed just like any other person.

At the beginning of the roleplay, Ethan can do very little with fire and water, but even less with air and earth. He can't control it, so it is mainly based and acted upon with his emotions and he has trouble summoning and using it when he is not emotional.

Ethan is a very goofy boy. He is always having fun and cracking a joke. You never see him upset, and if you do, something really is wrong. He is very protective over the ones he cares about, and he would give his life to keep them safe. He is kind of crazy, in a way, always doing funny things and goofing off. In reality, all he wants is to make someone's day better. He is very sweet and kind, and anyone would be lucky to have him as a friend. He isvery stubborn though, and if he doesn't get his way, he will probably pout about it but end up finding something fun to do anyway. No one can stop him from having a good time. This being said, he loves having a good time and he loves people who want to hang out and do something fun, even if fun is just watching movies all night and having lame tickle fights and eating kettle corn.

History
Ethan grew up in a small home with his mother, father, twin brother, and himself. The two boys were actually a miracle. His parents weren't suppose to be able to have kids, but they had twins after they stopped trying! They all grew up loved, and their parents made sure that they were supported, no matter what they chose. Since the two boys were complete opposites, mostly, they knew that whatever they chose, their parents would support. Ethan discovered his ability first, while him and his brother were arguing and his hand threw fire towards Grayson and caught his hair on fire. Thankfully it only got the ends, but they boys decided to keep it between themselves. Grayson discovered his when they were practicing with water, and Grayson mimicked Ethan, and he began to shape the water too. With both boys having powers, they decided to show their parents. They were stil supportive, though they were always worried about the government. When their neighbor changed into a frog and then a bird and then a cat, the government took him away and the twin's parents forced them to find somewhere safe. So, they packed a few things and left. Now they are here.

Grayson has the ability to have any ability that he wants. If he sees someones power, he can mimic the exact same thing, the exact same way that the person with the original power had done it when Grayson saw it. He can also use this more than just when he first gets it. As long as he remembers the technique, Grayson can use that ability for the rest of his life, or until the other person dies.
Strengths
When apsorbing someone's powers, he also learns their weaknesses, and therefore has the upper hand in a battle. He has learned to keep the abilities active if he wants to keep them, because if he forgets how someone was standing while using their ability, he can no longer do it, but he can use them for his or their entire life as long as he remembers. He can also stun them from using their ability, the first 30 seconds after he absorbs it. So he has a few seconds to use their ability against them, but once the 30 seconds is up, they both have the ability and it just depends who is stronger. They know more about it, but he has many more abilities stored, waiting to be used.
Weaknesses
Grayson can only use one ability at a time, and when he wants to switch, it takes him a few seconds because he has to fully concentrate of the ability, which is hard if you are in the middle of a battle. He wants to get better at switching between them. He also cannot kill someone with their own ability. He can harm them, but not kill them unless he uses an ability that is from someone else.

Grayson is a very quiet person. He stays more to himself, but only because he doesn't want the drama. Don't let him fool you though. He is a sucker for a cute girl. He is definitely a flirt, but that doesn't mean he flirts with everyone. He is very cautious of who he lets close to him, and he won't flirt with someone unless he feels something with them, or unless he is bored. He doesn't talk to many people, so he is usually seen as mysterious. Which is true. No one really knows of his power, and then when he all of a sudden does the same thing as them, everyone is surprised. Truly though Grayson is a very kind and sweet hearted guy. He is the most stubborn you will ever meet though, and he never gives in unless he really cares about you. He is kind of a clique kind of guy, always wanting to treat a girl right and he always pops up at all the right moments. He really is just looking for someone who isn't going to be like everyone else, because he hates fakes and he loves when someone can be real with him. He is a sucker for romance, and you'd be lucky to have him as your man, since he's just such a lady's man. Truly, he is one of the best guys around, and he won't hurt you. Phasing
Overview

Also known as intangibility, Bridget has the ability to phase through physical matter. The simplest way to use this ability is walking through walls. Though she can only phase through solid objects right now, some would believe that with practice she could learn to levitate herself through air molecules.While in the phasing state her thoughts are highly erratic, as if there was no mind to telepathically affect, and so during this time she is immune to telepathic attacks.

Limitations

In order for Bridget to use her ability, she must consciously enter the 'phasing mode.' While in the phasing mode any physical object will pass right through her, but this also means she will not be able to touch or grab anything else. Also, she can only stay in the phasing mode for up to five minutes, but over time this limit may be extended. For the time being, Bridget's ability only applies to physical objects. With practice she believes she can extend this aspect of her power, but right now Bridget is only able to make one other person/object intangible with her when she enters phasing mode. She must however continue to touch said person or object at all times, or else the effect wears off.

Weaknesses

She cannot breath while in solid objects. For example, if she phased through a concrete wall, she could not stay in the wall for long because she wouldn't be able to breathe. Energy, electricity and other elements of the like can still effect her, even when she is on phasing mode.

. Bridget is a very quiet and reserved girl. She's rather intelligent, and fairly organized most of the time. Known for her calculating habits, she likes to think things through before she acts and gets stressed out when she isn't able to do so. Bridge tends to be very sarcastic, especially with her friends, and extremely blunt. She likes to get straight to the point, and will not tell a white lie to spare someones feelings. For this reason some people may call her a bitch, but that's not exactly the case. She just values honesty. Bridget is actually a very kind and thoughtful person, who is always willing to lend a helping hand. She's selfless in the sense that she will always stick up for others. Bridget was born to a single mother, and has always been an only child. Although she's never met her father, nor does she have any real desire to, he always sends a check in the mail for child care. Her mother makes pretty good pay, but her job requires her to leave town for several days at a time very often. As a child, Bridget was usually left with her grandmother whenever her mother had to leave town. She never made friends as easily as most kids her age did, and this worried her grandmother greatly. But Bridge was a happy child regardless, she was a little more in her head than her peers.

At the age of fourteen Bridget had to stop staying with her grandmother, because she had been moved into a nursing home. At first it took Bridge a while to adjust, but she quickly became independent and capable of taking care of herself. Her mother got her a debit card when she turned sixteen, and Bri mostly used it to order food each night. Bridget and her mother have always had a distant relationship, but Bridge has grown to prefer it over a typical mother and daughter relationship.

She's been a fairly good student her entire life, always getting A's and B's in her classes. She picked up the hobby of creative writing along the way, and has competed in several online competitions. No one really knows this about Bridget, even her mother, because she doesn't usually share things about herself like this. But, she is very proud of the competitions she has won.

Replication
Overview

Phoebe has the ability to create replications of herself on will. They look exactly like her, and she can create them painlessly, even though it looks like they slip themselves from her body. Each 'clone' (as she likes to call them), takes on one of her personality traits. For example, she could choose to make her clone very rude (aggression), and because the clone has taken that personality trait from her she will not be able to act rudely until said clone has been destroyed. When she creates a clone they are usually wearing the same thing she is- However, she does sometimes mess up and a nude clone is created. This happens more often than she'd like, but she gets better at remembering the clothing each time she practices. She is able to communicate telepathically with her clones, but she finds it hard to control them. They seem to have a mind of their own.
The following is a list of the personalities she can create clones of:
Aggregation - She is generally angry and extremely pessimistic. When Phoebe replicates this personality she calls her "Matilda." Color ref: #b00404
Curious - This personality is the most likely to explore, wander off, and ask a lot of questions. Phoebe calls her "Hailey." Color ref: #f59745
Nervous - This personality is extremely cautious of what she is doing/what it happening, very emotional, and can sometimes have a breakdown. Phoebe calls her "Iris." Color ref: 0074bd
Sociable - She is very friendly and talkative, often times being very agreeable. Phoebe calls her, "Faith."Color ref: b89600
Creative - This personality is great at problem solving, and has good art skills. She can also look at different perspectives. Phoebe calls her, "Jessi." Color ref: 8c13ad
Sympathetic - This personality trait is very kind, and thinks of others. She is the most submissive of all the personality traits, and is the most likely to allow a stranger to cry on her shoulder. Phoebe calls her, "Daisy." Color ref:41b064

Limitations

Right now, Phoebe can only create one clone at a time. She tried to create a second at one point, and passed out because of it. Once her ability is fully developed Phoebe will only be able to create five clones of the six she knows how to create at one time. The reason being that if she uses all six of her main personality traits at once to create clones, she would become very empty inside and lose the will to actually do anything. This ability does not give her any other side abilities, such as a healing factor. Without this ability, she is basically mortal, and therefore does not posses any kind of heightened strength, stamina or aversion of death.

Weaknesses

Major infection or disease may transfer over to Phoebe whenever one of her clones is assimilated/killed. Although, minor injuries may only cause bruising to Phoebe, if one were to lose an arm (for example), this could cause some serious complications on Phoebe's side. If there are problems with the copying process duplicates may have physical or mental setbacks. This is a rarity, but if Phoebe is distressed, extremely tired or distracted it does happen. In theory, if Phoebe is killed then all the other clones die as well. However, because she's never died before, this is not yet known to be fact. Some believe that if she were to be killed while a clone of herself was active, that clone would become the dominant personality and live on, developing the ability to create clones of it's own. Phoebe, however, does not think the latter theory is possible.

. Ever since she was young Phoebe has always very much been an 'in-your-face' type of person. She never holds her tongue, and is often times very loud. She will not stand to be ignored, she hates to be overlooked. She refers to herself as an activist, because she is always calling for change to society. Phoebe thinks people should be more accepting of one another, and she also thinks that so long as it causes no harm to another everyone should be free to do as they please. Phoebe is very opinionated and stubborn, she does not allow other people to try and sway her. That being said, she also understands that other people are allowed to have opinions that contradict her own. She is fun-loving, and a very active young girl. If she has to sit still for too long she becomes rather restless, as well as obnoxious. Phoebe is not the type of person to pretend she likes someone else, so if she doesn't like a person they will likely know. She doesn't care much what other people think of her, and so sometimes she can act rather recklessly. When in a bad mood, Phoebe can be described as disrespectful and violent, though she does not usually resort to actual fights. She's argumentative, and sometimes actually goes looking for an argument. Above all, Phoebe is extremely protective of other people. She will even stand up for someone she dislikes, if she sees them being treated poorly .

Phoebe had never lived a sheltered life. From the moment she could start asking questions she always received a honest, straight-forward answer from her parents. Some believed this helped her mature quicker, other argued it corrupted her from a young age. One thing for sure was that it definitely contributed to her highly opinionated personality. She always fit right in with her family, for both of her parents were opinionated too, and often times they all shared the same opinions. Fitting in with her peers was a bit harder, however, but Pheebs learned how to make friends. She learned how to spot people who would appreciate her outlook on life, and who understood that sometimes she just wanted to argue for arguing sake.

While she was born in Scotland, she and her family moved to California when Phoebe was three. Because of this she had never gotten to know her extended family well. For her first few years in the USA Phoebe struggled greatly in school. Not with the content being taught, but with the behavior that was expected of her. What her teachers called 'talking back' she called 'having a conversation.' She was sent to the principles office often, which made it harder for her to make friends with her new peers.

By the time she was in middle school things were getting easier. She started writing things down on a piece of paper instead of saying them out loud, so her middle school teachers liked her much better than her elementary ones had. She also started to make friends. One of her first friends was names Isabella, and Isabella's family had been vegetarians. Slowly, Phoebe also adopted their vegetarian diet, and her own family started to accommodate her. Phoebe's parents had not converted to vegetarians themselves, but they understood that Phoebe should be making her own choices regarding such things.

Phoebe's high school years were rather uneventful for her until her junior year. That's not to say she hadn't been sent to the deans office from time to time, but she had managed to stay out of serious trouble. In her Junior year, however, she got suspended for getting into a fight. She had seen an upperclassmen male picking on a underclassmen male, and jumped in to help out the younger boy. When the older male pushed her away she shoved him back, and thus a fight started between them. She ended up braking his nose- and was often told that she was "lucky his family didn't want to press charges against her."

Since then she's been on her "best" behavior. But there's no telling how she'll act in Berkeley.
