Club Rush Week (15th-20th)
For both schools, the year starts in an internal conflict for power: gaining support and members for clubs and sports! It's an all out war to claim the most students and making sure to have enough members to survive another year. If a club doesn't have enough members, it gets the ax from the Student Council and Faculty.
Field Trip (27th)
Random Homeroom classes from the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd year from both schools are chosen to visit another campus to give students a view from the otherside. The real reason behind this field trip idea is based on the egos of the two principles of Hokushin and Minamigawa to prove that their school is the "most humane and civil" between them.

Good morning, students! I hope you had a lovely month long break, because the new school year (hell) begins now! All students are required to attend the Opening Ceremony in order to welcome the incoming 1st Year Students. Students will meet in their respective areas (Hokushin = Auditorium; Minamigawa = Sports Field) at 8:30am. The ceremony will begin at 8:45am. After that, students must report to their homeroom classroom to begin Homeroom and start the first four classes (50 minute long periods with a 5 minute breaks). Classes will be over at 12:40pm for the day (leaving both students to clean the school for 20 minutes). All students will leave campus at 1pm. The following day, students must arrive at homeroom before 8:30am and will attend homeroom and the second half of their classes. Students will be allowed to leave at 1pm. Students that fail to appear for the first two days must attend mandatory Sunday morning clean up of the campus at 6am.​
