Sylus took a step closer to the now-human werewolf, and as he moved, he pulled his coat from his shoulders. It was a fairly large trenchcoat, went to the back of his calves and he was a decently tall man. He held it out to Lex, offering it as a temporary way to hide indecent exposure, though to him it was no different than seeing anything else. He apparently wasn't bothered by anatomy. Of course he wouldn't be, he eats it. Hm.

"I believe I noticed a place down the street a ways, perhaps we could try there. We all have decent disguises, even a well-lit diner shouldn't be too much of a problem." He smiled again, as his tentacles wound their way beneath his shirt, clinging to his torso under the fabric. He usually used his coat to hide them, but since he wasn't wearing it, he would have to hope his long-sleeved, button-up, white shirt would do the trick.

Adora hummed in acknowledgment, albeit a bit distractedly, before the spoken words actually sunk. "Oh, yeah. Sounds good," she chirped with her signature grin. The blue in her skin was starting to fade slightly in response to the slight change in temperature but not by much. The alleged soul eater turn her attention down the street and saw the lights of the place Sylus as mentioned. The wide glass windows were more abundant on the building than the surrounding homes and the slight tint of a neon sign reflected on the side walk ever so slightly; details her sharp eyes had sought out. "Sounds good," she repeated, wondering down the street towards the establishment. While she seemed alert enough, her mind was preoccupied with something else.

She didn't care if the others were following her or not, that wasn't an all too big of a concerned at the moment, she went on ahead and was soon marching through the glass doors. A small bell rung, punctuating her arrival, and she smiled. She loved that sound. The temperature change chased away the blue that was still in her skin and she soon reverted back to being a well tanned teenager. She picked a spot fit for four and waited patiently for either her companions to arrive or a menu to be presented to her.

Sylus followed after Adora, his hands tucked in the pockets of his black slacks. He kept his head down, knowing fully how his eyes would appear to other humans should they really look at them. Black sclera and yellow irises were not human, after all. He sat at the table with Adora, his gaze straying to the door. Would the others follow them? He was rather curious about so many creatures appearing now. Tonight, of all nights. Maybe some stars were aligned, or planets. Or something. Who knows. He wasn't one for superstitions, other than the ones concerning him.

"So what have we encountered so far. There's me... I believe I would be considered a breed of tentacle monster... The spirit. A water form, a werewolf. You...I'm not entirely sure what you are. And the other woman that smelled partially human." Sylus said to Adora in low tones, his gaze sweeping the diner for anyone that could possibly listen from curiosity.

Adora shuddered when 'the spirit' was mention. She really didn't need to be reminded of Jasper. She smirked with amusement though, when Sylus mentioned he had no idea what she was. "Not a lot of people know what I am. I've been called demon, trickster, and even been told I was possessed. Take your pick." A waitress came over and Adora offered a friendly smile but the woman still looked a little creeped out by her eyes. "Oh, don't mind us, we were playing a prank on our friend and decided to grab some grub afterwards." That seemed to relax her a little bit. Adora looked over the menu thoughtfully as the waitress retreated to another table requesting her presence.

"Humans are so gullible it's not even funny," the alleged soul eater hummed. "As long as the information fits within their realms of logic and reason, they'll believe anything." A wicked grin spread across her face as she was reminded of what she did early on in her life. It was quite fun messing with their frightened inferior minds really. She glanced back up at Sylus when a questioned popped up. "Hey, how old are you anyway?"

He sat patiently until the waitress left them, and stared out of the window. To be honest, he wasn't entirely sure how old he was. There was probably a time when he didn't exist, right? He let out a sigh and looked back at Adora.
"Thirty, maybe forty, years? Or at least, that's as far back as I can remember. It is when my awareness started up, I suppose you could say." He tapped his fingernails against the table top, then leaned forward in a sort of awkward curiosity. "I know it's rude to ask a lady her age, but.. How old are you?"

Adora chuckled at the lady's age remark. "I won't hesitate to ask you questions so I might as well extend the courtesy to you," she replied. "Speaking of which, you never answered mine from earlier..." Her voice trailed off and she then blinked, realizing she was wondering off topic. "I'm not as old as this country, but I have been around since the colonial times. Pretty interesting happenings going on then." Adora leaned back and stretched out in the embrace of the booth she was seated at as if she would never leave the comforts of its padded frame. "Humans were also gullible then too..." A smirked played on her lips at the memory of her fun she had with them back then. So frightened, so desperate, so malleable! "Though, your statement makes me wonder; what if I existed much longer than that?" She tilted her head at Sylus as if he knew the answer. "I already came to terms with the fact that I was created and not born, but for what purpose? What if I was something else before I developed an awareness? Makes me wonder, what all I have done as a mindless animal and how my abilities evolved. Or maybe, by gaining an awareness, I lost some abilities?" The alleged Soul Eater leaned forward, her arms crossing as they supported her weight against the table top. "Why do we have an awareness? Why are we here? Who created us and for what purpose? So many questions and with very little answers for them."

She suddenly smirked, a playful smile working it's way into her expression and relieving the mood of all its seriousness. "Then again, I hear a lot about porn centering around your kind." She laughed and sat back, grinning from ear-to-ear.

Anita waltzed into the diner, whistling the circus tune under her breath. Red eyes scanned over the crowd with boredom. She really didn't know what had drawn her to this town. Finally, the vampire went and picked out a random booth before sitting down and watching the denizens of the diner again. she's already fed for the night, but she wouldn't mind another meal if one presented itself. She tucked a stand of hair behind her ear as the waitress came over to her table. The girl flashed a smile, making sure to keep her fangs hidden from view.

"Water, if you would, dear." She ordered, her accent holding a hint of England in its tone. She crossed her biker boots beneath the table before leaning back. Really, she probably played too much into the child of darkness thing. She supposed she didn't have have to wear leather from the top of her corset to the tip of her boots. But she enjoyed the looks humans would give her. Tormenting humans amused her to no end.

Sylus's strange eyes followed a young woman as she walked to a booth , though his attention was only partially divided. He looked back at Adora as she spoke. A frown crossed his expression, once again distracted by the newcomer. No human scent, except for a stale one. Another creature? Odd.
"What question did you ask me earlier?" He asked, snapping his focus to the trickster. "I don't recall..and am terribly sorry for it."

Then he sat quietly, registering the rest of what was said. The last bit was what really threw him off. Porn? The tentacles writhed beneath his shirt as though trying to prove a point, though what point that was, he had no idea.
"And what do you mean..porn?"
He'd never really been curious about human tendencies.. There never seemed a point to learn their culture. So he was unfamiliar with the term 'porn', and couldn't fathom why humans would want a creature like him being involved in anything with them.

Looking around, Jasper realized the group had grown in size, and the girl/thing he had begun following was obviously ignoring him, so he quit following. He floated back over to the group and re-assumed his human form. "Hello," he called out to the group, all unnatural creatures like him. "I am Jasper." he introduced himself.
