Jackson and Immensity made their way around where the rest of the group could have possible gone, hoping nothing had happened to them during his absence. He caught a glimpse of a few other people in his peripheral vision and noticed another guy helping a scared red haired girl, she seemed to be holding something... white?

"Hey!" he called to the two, trying to get their attention, "Get over here, I found some lifesavers in the lower decks, take some and help me give them to whoever else you find!" he called to the boy, giving no thought as he unslung two lifesavers for them before retying the rope around the extras. "Are there others around here?" he said over the roar of the storm.

Lucas saw how scared the girl appeared to be. She thought hed been someone she knew apparently. It hadn't taken him long to notice how beautiful she was. But, the way she was moving was only holding them back. He lifted her up with barely a struggle having been a weight lifter in college. He cradled her against his chest. Just before he heard the man, the rodent jumped and crawled to Immensity. "Snow!"

"Immensity?!" lucas could barely see her tiny frame hidden behind the man.

"Brother!" she yelled but gripped Jackson tighter. Hed saved her and she wasn't going to leave him. Plus she couldn't see.

Lucas shook his head. "Its best if we jump now and leave them for others can use. If we stay any longer were risking our own lives. This ship is pretty much done for and going down." he gripped Red securely taking the life savers.

"Mother of FUCK!!"

At the bridge, the helmsman and officer of the watch had already been lost to sea, the windows around the platform having been shattered and their bodies simply whisked away. Here stood the captain, keeping his ground against the force of the winds and rain as he maneuvered around the bloodied bits and pieces of glass on his way to the wheel. He needed to keep the ship on course -- stabilize it against the storm. Their destination couldn't have been too far off. He'd made this trip enough times to know.

But, while the captain toiled away to maintain the ship's direction, another figure worked to do quite the opposite. In the bowels of the vessel, a mysterious man slunk around the corridors. Soon, he came to the engine room, and with one swift motion, he slid a laptop from a case under his arm, followed by a rather bizarre looking device. The man's hands moved quickly, synchronizing the two instruments until their screens blared red. With an accomplished smirk, he left them behind, one more job for him to get done. While his technology worked to kill the engine, he snuck his way back out onto the deck, slipping through a back entrance to the bridge. His movements were like those of an assassin, swift and silent.

Each step was on point, almost as though the violent rocking of the ship didn't effect him at all. Eventually, he burst out into the room with the captain, the other man whirling around in time enough to spot him. "And what in the Hell are YOU doing here," the captain spat, his stress levels running high from unsuspected engine trouble which had prevented him from doing as he had hoped. "Save yourself, the captain goes down with his ship, and all that other cockamamie bullshit I'm supposed to say." His eyes were wild, an unreadable anger behind them. But, the terrorist -- if that was really what he was -- shook his head, his face splitting into a grin. "Damn right you're going down with your ship," he spoke, his voice carrying with it a certain authority. "But this time will be your last." And slowly, from behind his back he pulled a magnum revolver, training it on the captain's chest.

The shot was barely heard over the storm.

Jackson gave a grunt, realizing that this guy was probably right. He wanted to make sure that everyone else made it safe, but if running around only endangered him and Immensity, he would have to cut his losses and hope that they make it on their own. "Right" he said to Lucas in reply, looking down at the little white ferret that was making its way to Immensity. He knelt down and scooped up the little rodent, placing it in the arms of its owner.

"Dont lose your little friend, we gotta get off this ship. Just hold onto me close when we jump off, I wont let you get away, Ok Immensity?" he said comfortingly to Immensity, holding her close and comfortingly to help incite a small spark of confidence in her, so she wouldnt be as afraid.

He looked over at Lucas and nodded, signaling that he was ready to go.

At that Lucas put a life saver across his shoulders and put another under the red heads bum to keep them up when they jumped. With having the both preparef he climbed over the railing holding on to it on the other end. He let go and jumped down, keeping his legs straight. He hit the water with a splash, both of them going under before he swam them both to the top. He held a thumbs up to Jackson. This was dangerous. Almost as much as being on that damned ship. It was storming and the waves were wild. Their were sharks, lighning could get them but, they could only hope for the best.

Immensity gripped him tightly. This was scary. She hated two things about this. Being cold. Being wet. Her arms were wrapped around Jacksons torso. "Dont let me go...but, if your life becomes risked by me, I give you every right."

Tibo looked at the state of everything around, desperate for a hold on things, the storm was only increasing in strength, with waves crashing against the boat, spraying him and everyone around each and every time. Not to mention the downpour from the clouds, which severely obstructed his vision, and made the floor a hazard to walk on without proper footwear.

"No, your probably right," another roar from the gods of the sky. But by then he'd already made up his mind "I want you to take Lucas downstairs, and fasten yourselves to the ship as securely as possible. Last thing we need is to have another body fly over the ship." As he spoke, he heard another boom from the sky, but it wasn't akin to normal thunder. It was slightly different. Perhaps this ship is meant to-

@DarkStarLove909

"Help."

Tibo heard the small cry, over everything else, the pouring noise, the bellowing sky, his thoughts. All of it drowned out by a small cry for help.

@ProfessorNv

Turning his head in the direction he saw the girl from before, the one Finn was talking to. She was trying to get to the staircase, but she was sliding from side to side. At this rate, she'd end up going overboard. Just what he needed, another body in danger of falling six feet under, or 50. Tibo didn't know, while he was distracted, he failed to notice Jackson near him, or that Lucas jumped ship, taking someone with him. "What the-" he looked over the railing, the waves were still pretty volatile, but floating at the surface was Lucas and the girl, giving a thumbs up. "The fuck did I miss?" he looked back at Jackson, who was holding a few more. The storm was extremely loud, adding hearing to the list of things that the rain is fucking up. Pointing at the girl near the pool he shouted to Jackson "I need you to help the girl over there! At this rate, she might end up joining Lucas in the sea, sans whatever floaty device he's wearing!"

@Alfendi

Tibo made a mental note of where the large barrel he saw earlier, and made his way to the bridge, alone. He needed to seek counsel from the captain, at least so he'd have something to say to reassure the rest of them. He wasn't very good at encouraging people to think positive, but at least the captain would be able to give words of hope, so that even in the storm, there would be light...

Jackson couldnt believe what he was hearing from Immensity, with one quick movement, he lifted her up once more, bridal style, placing the lifesaver over her shoulders so her arms could look around them and held her close. He knew she couldnt see, but he kept his face close to hers as he spoke in a stern but gentle voice, "No way in Hell am I gonna leave you behind. You better hold on tight and by god you better not let go, because Im not letting go either."

He turned from Immensity as Tibo got his attention, telling him to help the girl off to the side. He looked over and recognized her as the other girl from the pool. With a nod, he unslung the other lifesavers, grabbing one, holding his arm back, and tossing it toward the girl. It wavered in the wind slightly, but its aim was true, landing on the ground and sliding directly to her, bumping her arm. Hopefully that would be enough to get her attention, that way she would have something should she tumble overboard. He called out to the girl, "Take the stairs to the center meeting area, wait for the others, but if it gets bad, we will have no other option but to jump!" he yelled to her, hoping she would hear. Looking to Tibo, he handed off the last of the lifesavers, "Give them to anyone who doesnt have one" he said to him in a serious tone.

With a deep breath, he looked back at Immensity, "Alright, here we go in three... two... one!" at one he jumped over the deck, feeling rain hitting his face as he plummeted toward the ocean. Holding his breath, the two splashed down, coming up seconds later with the help of the lifesavers. He tried his best to get a glimpse of the guy and the redhead, all the while holding tight to Immensity.

Aerilin had made it to the staircase just in time for something to fly through the air and hit her arm, looking down at it she saw the life saver and picked it up looking in the direction that it had come from seeing the guys from earlier and a couple people that she didn't recognize jumping overboard into the ocean. She didnt know if that was a really good idea or a really bad one. Just then she she saw the mysterious man that had been on the ship all day, hiding in shadows and lurking in corners. He had something in his hand and he was heading for the bridge which is where the captain of the cruise ship should be, curiosity got the better of her and she stood up with the help of the banister on the stairs and went up them. She managed to follow the man quietly and unnoticed to the bridge, she peeked around the corner and heard the captain speak "And what in the Hell are YOU doing here," the captain had whirled to face the man, "Save yourself, the captain goes down with his ship, and all that other cockamamie bullshit I'm supposed to say." Aerilin was confused, and then the man spoke,"Damn right you're going down with your ship, But this time will be your last." saw the man lift his hand, and something glinted in the light above the captain that was somehow still shining brightly. Aerilin gasped when she saw the gun and without thinking she burst into the room, this man who ever he was was aiming to kill the only man on this cruise ship that could save their lives! "No!!!!! What are you doing???" She tried to jump at the captain to tackle him when the shot rang out, it was loud as hell to Aerilin thunder happened to crash and lightning lit up the room showing Aerilin the shocked look on the captains face as something warm and sticky sprayed all over Aerilin. The captains body crashed to the floor, Aerilin was knocked of her feet as the ship lurched dangerously landing on top of the captains body, his warm blood all over her even more so. Crying she looked around wildly, but the other man was gone. What the hell??? Aerilin looked down at the captain and put her hand over the wound trying to do anything she could to stop the bleeding till she looked down at the captains body and saw the lifeless look in his eyes. She removed her hands and without even thinking about it put her hands to her face and sobbed running her hands through her hair, Aerilin looked like someone had tried to kill her, or that she had been involved in a killing.

@CuddlesomeIrritation

If everything was a blur before--because of the wind and rain and thunder, it was worse now. The rocking of the ship was more pronounced on the top deck and as goosebumps rose all over her and she tried to shield the small ferret in her arms, it was even more of a struggle to stay upright on her bare feet. If it wasn't for Andy, she would have fallen off the ship awhile ago. Freezing, dizzy, Terrified, Rose was quite positive she was going to die somehow tonight. Her stomach lurched and if there was anything left for her to throw up, then would have been the time, but instead she kept breathing shallow breaths, eyes wide and blinking swiftly against the raindrops obscuring her blurry vision. That is until she was picked up.

She gasped at the sudden arms that tucked her against a broad chest, marginally warming her as her head spun and her entire body refused to stop shaking. She might have heard voices somewhere beneath the thunder, making her whimper between shallow breaths, but she couldn't be sure. The only thing she knew was the loss of fur from her chest and it took her a few moments for her mind to gather enough coherent thought to realize the white ferret she'd rescued earlier was gone. Her arms were empty, hands trembling as she stared at them and her fingers went in and out of focus like a faulty camera. What is even going on? She's never had a pet ferret...she's never been on a cruise ship...where's Liam?

And then she was falling. And nothing made sense. In midair, she was clutching a wet shirt attached to a male with pronounced muscles and screaming because she couldn't do anything else. Helpless. The most terrifying thing she could ever be.

When the water closed over he head she thought that was it. She would finally be dead. Nothing left to live for. Roses can't survive in such conditions, paralyzed underwater with no idea which way was was up or down. But apparently, they can be saved. Brought back to the present, unprepared and piercingly cold. Rosaline just wasn't sure that's what was even occurring anymore. She only saw snapshots of what was going on around her..a thumbs up...huge swells of ocean water...lightning flashing between dense clouds.
She was hardly even breathing. But her hands needed something to grip and she only found purchase around his neck. She couldn't take much more of this. Trembling in some stranger's arms with her face pressed against the place where his neck met his shoulder she whimpered,
"Wha--" *cough* "Where--Wh-Who--a-are you?"

"Im Lucas. I found you in a stair way having a panic attack." He muttered against her cheek. He was in a lifesaver while she was held up laying on hers. He held her close to his chest. He swimmed closer to Jackson and his sister. His brown hair was drenched in water and his bright green eyes shown bright in the dark night. "Hey! We need to swim away from the ship! Otherwise if it crashes, were going down with it." He yelled before whisking the red head in front of him looking down once more to notice her beauty. She swam in front of Jackson and Immy.

Immensity was speechless at his words. She never had someone be so...nice and passionate to her. She held on tight as they dropped. Her stomach dropped. Was it to late to say she wasn't the best swimmer. When they came back to the surface she was grabbing his neck for dear life like a cat graspin water for the first time. Her hair covered her face and she gasped for air. She heard another female voice. Her brother found a female? She spit water out gagging. "Gross...ew." She muttered under her breath so only Jackson could hear.

"Whats your name?" Lucas asked as to distract her. He held her head in the crook of his neck. "Close your eyes. Keep the, closed. Just listen to my voice." Girls told him his accent was quite distracting.

The pain from the back of his head began to subside, and his mind began to have clear thought once more. Tibo realized that the staircase was indeed the only way in, but he hadn't noticed it before, instead looking for ladders to the brightly lit room. Steeling himself, he moved into the staircase below the bridge, under a eerie shroud of darkness. Jackson already gave him the last two Life Savers when he jumped ship.

That is, if he could jump ship.

[Slight Trauma] Bruised Noggin

BANG!

Another booming noise, exactly like the strange one he heard earlier!

It wasn't thunder he heard...

It was a gunshot.

Tibo snuck up into the bridge, braced himself against the wall, and peeked into the doorway...

"Ho lee fuk!" Tibo stifled his yelp as he saw two bodies lying on top of eachother. There was no doubt about it now.

There's a killer on the boat.

The blood. It was everywhere, splattered on the floor, on the walls. the broken windows. The stench of dead already filled the place, even if the bodies were fresh. But what was this noise that he heard now? The sounds of the storm outside once again became mute, being filled by the sounds of light sobbing.

Was someone still in the room?

Tibo's eyes darted across the room, scanning for any other presense. Though he wasn't good at it, his field of study required that he know the movements of the environment, and things that move tend to move with reason. Predators lead to prey, and prey leads to food, and it seems that predators only claimed one prey. He recognized the top body to be the female from earlier... How did she get in here? And for what reason? Pushing her body off of the would-be captain, he realized that she was still breathing, sobbing infact. She had a look of delusion, like she'd witnessed something horrible. Murder would do it.

"Hey." He nudged her in the shoulder, but she lay there, sobbing hysterically.
"HEY!" He grabbed the girl by her blood-stained shoulders, shaking them repeatedly. "GET A HOLD OF YOURSELF! OR WE'RE ALL GOING TO DIE!"

At that moment, the boat made a loud wailing noise, followed by a rather harsh SCREEEEEEEEEEE.

The engine, he's trying to sink the ship.

Unable to deal with the girl's bullshit at the moment, Tibo hoisted one of the Life Savers from his shoulder and essentially shoved her into it, and hoisted her onto his back. Bringing himself back into the stormy outdoors, and smacked the girl in the face one more time before whispering "I'm sorry." with one motion, he lobbed her overboard toward where Lucas (and supposedly the others) jumped ship.

Jackson heard her sputtering out the water and making her small comment, and even in this hectic and dangerous environment he still found this amusing. "Yeah, seawater isnt exactly the tastiest thing around" he said between breaths as he began swimming away from the rocking ship. He needed to make as much distance as he could from it, should it capside right on top of them. He began kicking his legs, slowly but surely moving the two forward and away from the metal deathtrap. As he looked over, he could just make out the outline of a landmass through the sheets of rain.

"I see land! Hang tight Immensity, we're almost safe!" he said to her as he picked up his swimming pace, making his way closer to the land as he was bombarded with wave after wave. He didnt dare let go of Immensity, he made a promise to not let her go, and damn him if he didnt keep it. With all of his strength, he continued his path to hopefully would be a break from the intensity of this day.

Immensity gaped. Land? They found land! She wanted to jump up or...something!!! But she would cause more strain on Jackson so she just pecked his cheek. She looked over to her brother shaking her head lightly. Wait...where was her Snow? She began looking around panicking. "Wh-wheres my ferret?!" She asked. Little did she know it had caught hold of Jacksons shoulder and swam as if helping push him to shore.

Lucas saw that he was not so smart. Jackson and his sister were heading the other direction. He turned course, only being a few feet behind.

@CuddlesomeIrritation

Lucas...panic attack. Oh she'd remember his name. She always remembered events that happen when she's having a panic attack, especially one that lasts this long. But that usually turns out to be a bad thing. Thunder rolled deafening her for a moment as she whimpered and flinched against Lucas' chest. He was yelling at another pair of people and she tried to open her eyes to see for herself where she was and with who, but only caught a glimpse of Lucas' face. Most strikingly, his eyes..luminous and rare in the darkness and peril around them. They distracted her, paused the racing storm in her mind for an instant, before she was tucked against his neck again with a flash of crackling lightning.

She was still shaking, but her mind recognized that this was a good thing. If her body stopped trying to generate heat this way, hypothermia would set it and she was already dehydrated and stressed, to put it lightly. Dressed in only a sports bra, boy shorts and gray cotton shorts, she wasn't in a favorable condition to survive this ordeal. But somehow her hands gripped onto Lucas, her only lifeline as if she would never have reason to let go. Her adrenaline would leave her soon now and she'd be left with little to no energy.

So she did as he said, listened to his voice, picked up on his accent, focused on his breathing to try and stabilize her own because right now both her heartbeat and breaths were double the pace of his. Eyes shut tightly, she whispered right under his ear, "Rose."

"Rose. It fits you." He grinned before stopping to take his shirt off. It was a button up green shirt. Drenched but it was better than having a girl half naked in the freezing cold water. He wrapped her in it before swimming towards the shore again. He was freezing but, growing up with a guarded sister, he learned to fight and protect all women. His nose was red and his teeth shattered. "Aye, Rose, do you have any family? " he asked her. Even in the circumstances, him freezing in a white tshirt, swimming and exhausted, he smelled her and it immidiately had him thinking guyly things. She smelt of just what her name permited.

Aerilin barely had time to focus on the man that she knew she had seen before in front of her, she barely felt him slap her, trying to bring her back to reality. When all of a sudden she was flying through the air, she saw the guy turn and disappear back into the bridge then she hit the water. Aerilin screamed when she surfaced somehow keeping the life saver around her body. She looked around wildly and spotted a group of other life savers bobbing not 10 feet from her. Her mind went into overdrive and she hurriedly paddling after them. She was almost to them when a shattering explosion ripped through the air, she looked behind her towards the cruise ship, which was already starting to sink from holes in the hull from who knows where. A ball of orange heat flickered and rose from the ship with the deafening roar of the explosion. Aerilin's mind raced, that was the pool area it looked to be, that guy that had just saved her life was still up there! She hoped that he would be okay, but she turned from the boat trying to swim quicker as the boat rocked from the explosion and started to sink faster.

As Jackson swam, he felt a new presence in the form of a pair of lips greeting his cheek for a split second. Even in their current predicament, he could feel his heart skip a beat, giving him a surge of strength to push forward. He was going to make sure she would stay safe. He hardly noticed that the ferret had climbed onto his shoulder, but it almost seemed as if the little creature was trying to help with the swimming. Hey, any help he got was appreciated.

"We're almost there" he said as he used what was left of his strength to pull them toward the shore, the cold finally getting through his adrenaline rush as he began to shiver slightly. The sooner they got out of this water, the better. Soon enough, what felt like some miracle , sand beneath his feet! He surged forward quicker now, anxious to get the two of them out of the water and onto solid land. He lifted her up and made the final steps forward away from the waves and onto the firm, yet sandy ground of the shore. He kept going until he found a canopy of trees that offered some protection from the remaining rain.

Jackson set Immensity down gently, before rolling over and flopping onto his back, gasping as he tried to catch his breath from the swim against the storm. "We... we made it..." he said between breaths, his body slightly flinching at the explosion of the ship. He prayed the others made it off safely.

@CuddlesomeIrritation

She didn't hear him very well over the storm, or maybe it was just that she thought he must have said something that wasn't a compliment because that wouldn't be possible right now. Drenched and reduced to a helpless ball that was losing body heat too quickly, there was no way he was comparing her to her namesake. Or doing what she thought he might be doing. His arms left her and with her eyes closed she could only guess at what he was trying to do, but then there was a cloth tied around her shoulders by the sleeves and she was holding onto an almost bare-chested guy she'd just met in the middle of the ocean. It didn't do much more than float behind her, but she appreciated the gesture somewhat, especially since her hoodie had come untied form her waist a long time ago. She could hear his teeth chattering and shook her head when he asked about her family. First of all, that was a very loaded question. and second, not important. Her mind was clearer now, only frozen when the thunder boomed above them. She was already turning down personal questions. "Depends o-on your d-definition of f-family. Y-you shouldn't have given m-me y-your shirt, L-Luc-cas. I'm s-sorry I'm weighing y-you down." Rosaline stuttered and lifted her head to breath more deeply, but just as she did so, she heard an explosion that was very unlike thunder, along with a flash of light that was much more orange and red than lightning. She squealed and turned away from the heat of the sinking ship that shocked her into swimming away herself. Still holding onto Lucas, hands locked and unwilling to move, her legs kicked wildly beneath her, helping Lucas only slightly on his way to an ever-closer shore. she had stopped shivering and the darkness around the edges of her vision was closing in, but she couldn't give up now, despite how weak her attempts at survival. She grunted with the effort and closed her eyes again. It wouldn't be long now..

Now with everyone out of the way, to his knowledge at least. Tibo focused his thoughts on the hopeless case before him. The boat's destined to capsize at some point, so why bother? He toiled with the thought of jumping ship with the others, or taking a chance with the ship.

Worst comes to worst, he still has the barrel, and the rotational floating device.

Making his way back to the main deck, his mind shifted back to the black box he saw earlier, before this ordeal.

Does that box have anything to do with this?

Shaking the thought from his head, he steeled himself for the task ahead, the engine was probably dead at this point, so he was essentially floating at sea. He braced over the railing to see how the others were doing, probably lost at sea at this point, but then he saw a shadow in the distance.

One that was getting bigger by the second.

And he was headed right for it.

He rushed up the stairs.

He slipped.

He jumped in the room, and grabbed the wheel, SLAMMING it to the right in an attempt to veer away from the island.

It didn't work.

You can't use an engine to steer if the engine doesn't work.

Diving out through the window he landed on the ground feeling a small tingle up his arm, followed by a feeble crick.

[glow=red] Left Arm [Dislocated][/glow]

He could feel a warm sensation along his back, and his sense of feeling lightheaded returned once more, this time filling his mind with thoughts not his own.

[glow=red]"Meat to feed on, a grave not your own"[/glow][glow=red]

"A livid young man, given not grown."

"A shank of dark fire, bright light to be shone."

"A night in the storm, dead and alone."[/glow]

When he broke from his stupor, there was fire all around him, and the black box lay before him, floating around wiht the water that flooded the deck. Without thinking, he picked up the device and moved to the lower deck, as if a ghost had possessed him and brought him here.

[glow=blue]The barrel.[/glow]

He rested his head on it passively, holding the decently sized box in his hand.

Burning debris floating around him.

Glass shards falling on the ground.

Rain down-pouring in from the window.

It was already too late to do anything else, even if he tried to live another day, he'd end up killing himself in the process, just to save someone else.

After dragging himself to the deck, he gathered a few items of use and a chair, and plopped them inside, erecting the comfy wooden chair inside. He rested the barrel on the edge of the deck before slipping inside and fastening himself, putting on the R.F.D. just in case.

Where did it all go wrong.

Times like these, his mind decides to comb through all oh his thoughts, as if he might die, and with all due respect to the gods of life, he might.

Why didn't he try harder in school?

Why didn't he go to please everyone better?

Why didn't he ever make any good friends through life?

Why does he always try to save everyone and take the fall for it like some hero?

And with one final thought, he jumped overboard.

[glow=blue]"Why didn't I get a pillow with my seat?"[/glow][/fieldbox]

Everything was happening to quickly for Finn to get a grasp of the situation. Spotting Aerilin walking out onto the deck, he could feel anger raging inside him. It was too dangerous for her to be here, he had told her to find safety further down into the ship so that they might not be blown off the deck and drown in the storm. Refusing one of the life savers that were being passed around, he figured he would be more easily able to swim without them. He watched as Tibo quickly hurried off towards the bridge in pursuit of Aerilin, and, with the rain smashing into his face like they were pebbles, he hurried over to the bridge. Before he could reach them, he could feel the wind's howl become stronger and stronger, and he felt himself losing balance. However, he managed to persevere, at least up until the point where he saw Tibo emerge from the captain's cabin with Aerilin in his arms. The only thing to do now was to lead her back inside, where it was safe, or at least safer. He hurried towards them, about to call out, when Tibo hit her around the face and then thrust her over the railings.

With his eyes widened, he yelled, but his voice was drowned by the winds. Why did Tibo do that? He didn't understand. He couldn't imagine how throwing her overboard would have helped her, it was more likely that it would speed up her route to an early death. If this ship did pull through, the more people who were on board when the storm passed, the better. Just as he prepared to charge into Tibo and confront him about his violent actions, the ship exploded in a ball of flames, the shockwave knocking him straight off his feet and into the air. He felt as if he was floating, as he was propelled tens of feet away by the blast and crashed into the water. Fortunately, he had passed straight into it without a heavy collision, but the height he had gained in the air had only helped to pushing him further down into the ocean. He could scarcely see a thing besides the curve of the ship and debris floating at the surface.
