I play mostly low brass (trombone, baritone, tuba). I can play piano, mallets, flute, drum kit, bassoon, cello, and at current marching bass drum. For the most part I love to play modern concert literature and techno, but my other love is jazz, specifically New Orleans Jazz.

As a (somewhat) stereotypical young Asian girl, I was brought up learning the piano and the violin. In 4th grade we played the recorder, and it prompted me to learn the flute shortly after.

I continued violin through high school and was in the orchestra, but played flute in the marching band. Piano kind of became an afterthought. I still pick up my violin every once in a blue moon but I don't really play much anymore.
