The survivalist had watched the entire thing. It was impressive, but to him it was nothing more than survival. However, the raiders had warn Wash to get out of their land yet the American general fired shots at them and thus had to defend themselves. Not like the survivalist wasn't happy to see them dead, it was just that the Thugs were going to be in a uproar when they discover the bodies. He wouldn't want to be around when that happened.

The survivalist slowly backed away. He hoped that Wash muttering something would keep him distracted until he got away. That wouldn't be the case though. A loud snap echoed followed by searing pain spreading up the survivalist's leg. Forcefully looking down, the survivalist saw small Ales crawling around a broken beehive-like nest. He had fallen for a old Collective trap and now he was going to pay for it. Unless...

"OUCH!" The survivalist screamed.

The echo of a shot caught Blade Wolf's attention. "Perhaps I am not alone after all. The true question remains, are the inhabitants of this land friend or foe? One way to find out. System integrity is at 100%, I must keep it that way." He said as he headed towards the origin of the shot continuing on the wrecked and abandoned cars. The sound of metal crunching as he landed on each on, wasn't the most subtle way to travel, but he didn't trust the land here. As he got closer his sensors began to pick up life forms. He stopped a top a large truck and went to the frontal edge of it and scanned the area seeing one strange human near a few fresh corpses. "Looks like a contact. Not a cyborg though, just a normal...human?" He then looked over seeing what looked like another human in seeming in a bit of trouble. He questioned on whether or not he should try to help the man in need, but decided to hold back and see how this interaction possible interaction proceeded. He was uncomfortably close that he knew he'd be spotted by any common cyborg soldier, but perhaps he wouldn't be noticed if he remained still and watched. He stayed at the ready in case he was spotted and these humans turned out to be enemies. He would try to disarm them before attempting any lethal force.

Hamzah pulled out a pistol and walked over to the corpse. Half of its head was clean off, likely from the shotgun blast. It appeared to be a suicide. The person must have lost hope thus causing it to finally snap. Hamzah sighed longingly at the sight. Oh, how he wish he could feel the sweet release of death. Hamzah then ordered Fredrick to scan the body which appeared humans enough. The scan did confirm Hamzah's suspicion.
"The body is belongs to a unknown species of human. Probably a survivor of whatever happened here." Hamzah said.
"Humans. Going around and killing yourselves." Arkith muttered.
The suicide was tragic, but solved little to nothing. "A shame, but we should keep moving so we don't end up like the rest of these." the scouting leader says as he motions to the other bodies in the room.

As one of the guards kept his view out of the room the unit was in he thought he saw some movement further down a hallway. It looked pretty low to the ground. As far away as it was his radar showed only a couple of small dots. Whatever it was, it gave him a bad feeling. It was almost like they were being watched. He knew Commander X said something about hostile spider Mechaniloids in the nearby area. If there was one, there were likely more. He braces his rifle against his shoulder, ready just in case. What he didn't see in the other side of the hallway were the multiple drone getting ready to rush them for an attack.

George Washington heard the survivalist's yelp for help following the snap. He turned around and marched towards the sound. "Good sir," Washington called, "what seems to be the trouble?"

Washington appraised the situation. A broken beehive, several creatures swarming towards a man caught in a trap. The survivalist.

"Obviously, you've been caught in a trap," Washington continued, "but perhaps there's a way for me to help?"

There was a grumbling coming from above her, on the pile of rubble she was near. Rose jumped out of surprise and turned to face the pile, well, the top of the pile to be exact. And what was there was not at all what she had expected. Not that she knew what it was either. A wild guess told her it had to be some kind of rabbit. Or, that's what it looked like to her. Not any rabbit she was familiar with though.

"Blimey!" She exclaimed, maybe a bit too loudly. Maybe it's from here. She took a deep breath, then decided to try to speak with it. "Er... Hello," She said while stepping a bit closer to the mound of rubble. Her thought process was that if it was hostile, it might have shown some sign of it by now, while she was caught unawares. And it was also the first and only sign of life she saw here, so she was willing to take a risk.

"Hamzah!" The A.I. frantically yelled inside Hamzah's inner comms, which the others wouldn't hear." We have multiple contacts inbound. And one of the unknowns are moving right towards them."

Hamzah cursed as he took the shotgun off the corpse and checked its ammo. Three shells were all there was left, but it would do. He then was about to yell when a loud metallic roar echoed throughout the building. Metal clanking followed suit and on the radar swarms of white appeared. The cause soon made itself known as the spider drones not only came from where the guard was, but also from rusted vents and forgotten rooms.

The spiders quickly began webbing various areas away from the group. When someone came into contact with the webs they would get stuck or slowed down. In one of the rooms large beehives covered in webs were soon encased in even more webs. Whimpers came from the hives as the spiders crawled over them protectively. They would guard their nests to the bitter end.

Meanwhile, down where the survivalist was, a couple of Ales had crawled up his leg to begin tearing through his clothes. The survivalist yelled for Washington to help. He also mentioned that the Ales would 'convert' him into a yummy treat for themselves. All Wash needed to do was to figure out a way to deactivate the bear trip without setting off the poison needles attached to it and be careful unless he wished to disturb the other Ales's beehives.

A short distance away a group of Wasteland Thugs were moving in. They were armed with various weapons, one with a crude flamethrower. They had yet to see the bodies of their former friends and when they did they let loose a vengeful cry. One began a chant while the others took position for combat. They also roared out taunts, some were particularly vulgar.

Blade Wolf's attention quickly shot towards the directions of the Raiders as his scanner lit up with new signs of lifeforms. All of them were armed and covered in a red outline which didn't appear on the two other humans meaning his A.I. had deciphered the Raiders to be hostile. "Contacts confirmed hostile. Intervention dictating Mission directive. Engaging." He then leaped from the truck dropping the controller from he held with his tail and landed on the road in front of the Raiders with a loud thump. He pulled the chainsaw from his back and held it over his head with his tail and lit the blade giving it an orange hue as it spun. "Hostiles, turn back now or surrender. Unnecessary fighting will result in your termination." His face lit up with a red glow with each word before he let out a loud howl giving anyone within in a few meters of distance a slight ringing similar to shell shock in attempt to scare them off before resulting to violence.

"Contact!" the scout leader yells as the spider drones approach. He and the rest of his unit immediately get their rifles ready. The unit grouped together back to back with each other as they opened fire with their laser on the swarms of spiders that were coming into the room. "Radio, get the commander on the line!" the leader shouts during the shootout.

X looks up at the vents and around the room as he and the rest of his unit hear the skittering and the roar. Something was coming. X's right arm quickly converted to his Mega Buster and his soldier had all their rifles aimed down their respective areas. The drones bursting from the vents caught them off guard as the rest of the drones rushed his unit's hiding spot. They frantically opened fire. Between the bursts of fire he could hear his unit trying to get a hold of him. "Commander X, we're under attack! Enemy units that are those spider Mechaniloids that were mentioned earlier!" he faintly hears, the sound of rifle fire and his own fighting taking priority. "Commander X here, we're under assault as well. Make it back here ASAP!" he shouts back into the transmission.

"They are attack Commander X as well! We have to hurry and try to get there. We're likely going to have to fight our way through." the radio Reploid remarks during the combat.

Diggersby winced when the human female shouted in surprise. Though powerful, Diggersby's arm-ears were also rather sensitive. Diggersby acknowledged the human female by waving one of his white paws; a greeting gesture he had observed occur between human beings of his own world (which, obviously, this wasn't). Diggersby grunted and gestured at the landscape with one of his ears, before folding his arms and cocking his head as if to ask if she had any idea where this is. (A long shot, but Diggersby had to try.)

Meanwhile, George Washington inspected the bear trap. It seemed to be more complicated than the bear traps of the late 18th century, but the basic mechanisms appeared to be identical. "Well, I need to know what triggers these poison needles so I know what not to do," he said. Washington heard shouts and screams from the distance. "Those might be those men's friends. Quickly, now; tell me the trigger for the poison needles so I can free you safely (without you being... digested)," he ordered urgently.

The radio Reploid's remark couldn't reach Hamzah's ears as they rung after blasting a spider. Hamzah then swirled and to his dismay saw more of the spiders than he had predicted. To add to his frustration, some of the drones were flinging webs onto the ground that could get someone struck. It was already disturbing enough that the accursed things were cyborgs, but they could also make webs. All that was little to what the drones had done. A drone had managed to get to the fresh corpse and dug its legs into the back. A few seconds later the corpse was roaring back to life with the drone hitching a piggy-back ride. The mere sight could chill people's spines.

Hamzah wasted no time trying to gun the thing down. It was quick enough to dodge the first shell and close the distance between itself and Arkith who was using her newly acquired spear to fend off against the spiders. Hamzah shouted frantically and Arkith turned to see the creature only a meter away. With a powerful leap, the creature flew into the air directly at the dragon.

Meanwhile down on the street the Thugs were surprised to see a Collective, or something of the like, actually talk to them. It didn't matter as they shouted insults at the 'feces-smelling dog' in hopes of getting it charge at them in rage. The chanter didn't join for he needed all the concentration he needed for the spell. The Thugs' didn't help either as their weapons roared to life. The first was a blazing stream of fire going straight for Blade Wolf.

"I have no idea! I've been caught in bear traps before, but not one with poison needles! Though, typically traps such as this are activated when something brushes up against a 'lead' needle. They are normally golden. Also, these damn Ales are trying to rip through my clothes. If we can deal with first then we have on less worry!" The survivalist said rapidly.

Blade Wolf leaped back as his visor went blindingly bright from the flames. A few stray rounds from the thugs struck the upper sections of his frontal legs forcing him to take cover behind a car that was flipped on its side. System integrity at 87% Showed on his HUD making him growl lowly. "It seems these humans only understand violence. I guess I'm closer to home than I thought." He then peeked out to study a path to quickly eliminate the targets. Before he could finalize a path a round struck the car making him pull back. "Humans are strong in numbers. Alone they are cowardly. If I decrease their numbers they will either run away or surrender. Lets go then." He said as a thug rushed around the corner. He jumped on the thug stabbing him with his heated frontal claws taking him out with ease. He put the chainsaw back in the grip on his back and then bolted out of his cover pulling out one of his heated knives and throwing it at the thug with the flamethrower aiming for his neck.

He then bolted to another vehicle to take cover from any rounds being fired at him. "Close distance, cover, take down, repeat." He said as he used his method to close in and take down another thug with his claws. He took cover again trying to prevent extensive damage to his system unsure of if there were any power sources nearby of which to help him. He was out numbered he knew, but numbers doesn't always win against tactics and willpower, that he had learned. He just had to pick his moments between the volley of rounds and stay in cover when it became to dangerous and he would come out victorious. Reckless would either lead to his capture or pure shutdown, the stakes were high for sure.

Rose couldn't help but breathe a small sigh of relief when it waved to her. Thank goodness. But it quickly became fairly obvious that there was a bit of a language barrier, at least on her side, although the rabbit - like creature did give an attempt to communicate. Unfortunately, from what could understand from its gestures, it appeared that he knew just about as much about the place as she did. "I'll take it you're not from around here, either," She sighed. I guess it could be worse.

Over the gunfire one of the scouting Reploids noticed the horror that was the hijacked body and the spider drone. These things were absolute nightmares. As it leaped at the dragon he fired several shots at it, attempting to down it before it could cause more terror and damage. "The bodies! They're going for the corpses too!" he frantically screams.

As the unit tried to keep together and avoid the webs one of the drones leaps onto the scouting unit's leader. As he drops his rifle to frantically pull at it to get it off one of his allies takes a quick shot at it, hitting it dead on with his laser shot and causing it to fall off. There were far more than they had estimated. Almost too many of them. He knew they had to retreat. he takes a quick step in the desired direction, barely avoiding a web from one of these monstrosities. "Come on! We gotta go! We can likely hold them off from a better point!" he screams as loud as he can over the gunfire.

The spider were pouring in from different directions on X and his remaining Hunters now. They had managed to block off the vents by bringing down some rubble into them and melting them by repeated blasting, but still had to deal with the ones in the halls. he knew it was do or die now. As he took cover he had a plan. He started charging up the energy from his fusion generator core. He charged the solar energy, causing a high pitched noise to slowly build from his core as he did so. "Move!' he commands as he steps out from cover, his buster cannon aimed down the hallway. Seeing what he was about to do his subordinates quickly took cover behind the walls. He then fired off the charged energy from his buster, the knockback of it lessened by his other arm holding onto. It was still bad enough to send both arms upwards, but he quickly lowered them. Down the hallway the blast soared, blasting the drone on the walls and causing damage to the walls in the hallway itself. Luckily, not enough to bring the hallway down.

George Washington studied the release mechanism. He spotted the gold needle. "It appears that someone's buried the base of the trap within the earth," he declared. He noted that the clamp was situated in the middle of several rows of toxic needles. The release mechanism, unfortunately was underneath the bear trap... and the poison needles.

However, it appeared that the release wasn't submerged in the earth, but rather lay hidden underneath the needle trigger. The general eyed his sabre, approximating the width of the blade as opposed to the width of the crack between the needles and the release mechanism. He crouched to the ground and poked the tip of his sabre into the trap, feeling around until he felt resistance. He wiggled the sabre blade around a little bit, before...

Click!

The bear trap suddenly sprung open. With the blunt end of his blade, the general scraped off enough Ales from the survivalist's legs to allow for mobility. He carefully helped the survivalist out of the trap without triggering any poison needles, then checked the survivalist's legs again for more of the little buggers.

Meanwhile, Diggersby heard the female human sigh. He cocked his head, before eyeing the carrot in his palm. He broke off the bitten end of his carrot using his arm-ears, popped it in his mouth, and, still crunching on his piece of carrot, grasped the leafy stem in his white paw and offered the rest of the carrot to the female human. Usually, Diggersby knew, it would take more than a half-eaten carrot and a run-on sentence to gain trust, but times were desperate. Neither Diggersby nor the female human knew where they were, and it paid to have companions in places unknown.

Boss Encounter
Ales Centurion

A thunderous roar echoed throughout the city as the ground rumbled. The raiders that were attacking Blade Wolf and Wash turned their heads towards the source. What they found was a half spider, half human creature crawling towards them. The 'Ales Centurion' looked down at the raiders. A smile formed on its face as it brought up a gun attached to its arm. With a loud blast, a crater was formed and sent raiders flying everywhere. The flamethrower Thug landed next to Blade Wolf pulling out the knives from eariler. He turned to the robot.

"You help us bring that thing down and we'll let you go." He growled.

As Wash helped the Survivalist from the trap he saw the Centurion. He screamed bringing up his assault rifle and firing in terror. The bullets, however, bounced off the thick skin of the Ales. The Centurion didn't retaliate, though. It appeared as if it liked the terror it has caused.

Inside where X and Hamzah were, the Ales stilled attacked. The one controlling the body jumped at Arkith after a barrage of fire made the corpse unusable. The Ales miscalculated where to land instead impaling itself on the spear. Arkith was stunned at the luck, but a roar snapped her out of it. The dragon was about to attack again when she noticed that the drones were retreating. Relived, Arkith shouted in victory and began to insult the drones. That ended when Hamzah pointed his shotgun at a giant beast.

"WHAT?!" Arkith roared.

"Ok, I suggest we don't move." Hamzah said to everyone.

Blade Wolf looked up at the Ales Centurion and then the flamethrower thug. "Differences aside, unite for common goal. Fight for freedom. Victory is the only option." He said as he grabbed the knives with his tail and put them back in their holsters. He then scanned the Centurion for any common weakness, but the unknown machine didn't appear in his data base of metal gears. He saw the cannon and figured if not a weakness he could at least damage its weaponry. He then looked to the thug again.

"Can your warriors keep his attention? My chainsaw has cut down machines like this before should be powerful enough to damage effective. Consider me your weapon for now. I will get rid of that cannon first so the danger to your men is lowered. I just need to get close. Scratch my back I'll scratch yours. Sound fair?" He said as he readied to go awaiting the Leaders signal.

As the scouting unit noticed the spider ambush subside they saw Hamzah's action and suggested not to move. "Why not? What is that thing?" the leader of the unit whispered. Three of them kept their rifles out and in the same direction the beast Hamzah was aiming at.

As the drones retreated X and his remaining unit breathed a sign of relief. It lasted until they heard a large blast outside. It took a moment for them realize that whatever it was, it sure wasn't paying attention to them. "We have a short reprieve, everybody check themselves for injuries and ammunition right now." X commands to his remaining troops. While they did that he opened his communication device in his arm. "Scouting Unit, do you copy? This is Commander X. Give me status report, over."

"Scouting Unit A here. The spider mechaniloids have retreated, but it looks like we still may have another hostile nearby. We'll update you when can. Over and out." the radio man says quietly in reply to his commander.

Rose watches as the rabbit - creature breaks off the bitten part of the carrot offers her the rest it. She half smiles and takes the offer, observing it in her hand for a brief moment before taking a bite from it. "Thanks," She says, smiling a bit more. Then she heard the roar. "What was that?" She asked worriedly, turning to look every which way, unsure as to where it had come from. Even as the sound echoed further away and she turned back to her new found companion, she was still worried. Whatever it was, it seemed like something that was best left alone.

"We're dealing with an Ales Centurion. Your chainsaw won't be able to cut through that thick hide of it. There are weakspots and you just have to find them." The Thug explained before turning to his men." Alright! You know what to do!"

The remaining Thugs nodded and went off to find positions. The flamerthrower Thug dropped his weapon as he exchanged it for a long rod with dazzling sparks of electricity flying off. He then jabbed it into the ground as he dove out of the way. He also shouted for Blade Wolf to find a safe spot for once the Tesla Rod actives it could fry him. The rod itself couldn't damage the Centurion, but it could stun it.

"I have no idea and that thing hasn't spotted us yet." Hamzah kept still hoping that the beast hadn't seen them. To his relive it hadn't. However, that didn't stop the Centurion's 'babies' from spotting them and leaping onto the decayed building. They moved quickly going through holes or broken windows as they grouped up with the other Ales. They began to attack once more. This time they began trying to force the enemy into the open to allow the Centurion to wipe out them.

Blade wolf moved to a safe distance and studied the Ales Centurion for a moment as the men moved into their positions. "Boss, that cannons a nasty piece of work. If we can get rid of it that'll keep it from causing extreme damage." One of the thugs staying in the secondary support line shouted back to the groups leader.

Blade Wolf then turned his attention to the Centurion's cannon and locked in on it. "It may have a thick hide, but its weapons are bound to be poorly armored. That will be the first target. I will keep an eye out for weak spots on the creature when I can. Now its time to begin. Engaging!" He said as he grabbed his chainsaw and ran towards the Ales Centurion as some of the thugs opened fire to attract the Centurion's attention while Blade Wolf closed the distance hoping on some of the wrecked cars to avoid any possible traps set by the Centurion.
