Twins? I think not...

Haru yipped as he was tossed onto the sofa.
He sprang up onto his elbows, about to teleport when he felt a hand on his waist.
Shit.
Sticking out his lips a little he pouted grumbling;
"That's not fair..." Of course him teleporting when things got even slightly tough wasn't very fair either.
Pursing him lips a little Haru flopped back down and shrugged.
"I was just playing around, you're fine as you are...if a little pervy."
Raising his brows he grinned, showing his little fangs.
"You can take your blood back if you want."

When the guy snapped to attention Mike had to cover his mouth a bit to keep from laughing out loud.
"Ah, right right."
Walking over to the guy he grabbed his wrist lightly and tugged him towards the living room, flopping down on the sofa.
"So.........uhm.......my cooking........was it okay?"
For some reason he felt nervous suddenly but had no idea why.
He was talking to his pet! His!
God...some tiny little voice inside his head wanted a little more attention from Conrad then just a pet.

"Of course it's not fair seeing as how you haven't been playing fair thus far. So...why should I?" Vin countered watching Haru closely, he saw many things in that face of his but not what he truly wanted to see. Though Vin was just happy that Haru didn't get frightened by him acting like this, he wasn't being pervy per Haru's words right now but he was being forceful. "I don't need the blood. You wanted it so you took it, I want something else..." Vin told him as he leaned down into Haru's neck once more. He planted small kisses at short intervals and then longer kisses at longer intervals till he was hovering over Haru's mouth. He let his eyes run over Haru's face wondering just how much this was going to scare him but Vin shrugged it off. He let his hand slide under Haru's shirt, testing him and roughly laid his lips on Haru's. He would only go so far right now, he was not going to make the same mistake twice but maybe if Vin showed Haru how serious he was then he would knock off this childish crap.
Vin forced his tongue into Haru's mouth while his hand slid further up Haru's chest finding its prize. Vin rubbed his thumb over Haru's nipple gentle and then pinched it with enough force to hopefully get a yelp from the kid. He didn't have to worry about either of them breathing since they were both vampires and it liked it that way he realized. But as his eyes started to close once more he remembered that he was trying to make Haru comfortable and couldn't go to far. Vin finally pulled away from Haru just enough so he wouldn't do anymore "Next time you push me that far I can't be sure I will hold back" with that said Vin got up from the couch and walked away from Haru "Get some sleep. We hunt for Teller's body tomorrow" Vin told him and left the house.

Conrad almost ripped his hand from Michael's grip but had to remind himself that he was his 'pet' so Conrad let himself be dragged back into the house and then sat on the couch. "Well..." he started off looking into Michael's face and then dropped his eyes "It was good...for a basic dish" he told him though there were more things that he wanted to tell him. Conrad wanted to praise him for doing well on the sauce and that the noddles were just perfect even if he had helped out a little bit. The sausage could have been cooked a little more but the toughest part was making the sauce from scratch and Michael had done a good job at that. Good enough of a job that Conrad had two very large plates of the food.

Haru fidgeted a little as his eyes widened at Vin's words.
He figured the guy might try to jump his bones right off the bat but the gentleness was...surprising.
Shocking really.
The soft kisses running along his neck had Haru turning his head slightly, giving Donovan's a bit more access though in vampires it was a type of submission he didn't mind right now.
As the kisses moved towards his mouth his heart actually started up, beating awkwardly with anticipation.
The kiss was forceful but also sweet and Haru quickly had his tongue dancing with the others'.
Mid-thought he gave out a muffled yelp feeling Vin's fingers pinch his nipple hard.
Damn this guy knew how to test someone...
Haru was about to just relax and let the other do as he pleased when Donovan was suddenly up and walking away.
All the kid could do in response to his words was grunt quietly, then the door shut to his house.

He knew he should get to his room but Haru was frozen on his back on the sofa, falling asleep there mere moments later.

Mike's smile faltered a little at Conrad's bland answer.
He wanted to know what he did wrong and right...and how to improve later...
Realizing he probably looked upset he quickly put on his smile, though it felt a bit forced.
"O-oh. Good. I'm glad it was good."
Reaching for the remote he moved his legs up onto the sofa and leaned back, flipping on the TV to some random action show.
He let his fake smile fade since he now could just pay attention to the random stuff flashing in front of him.

Vin didn't waste anytime walking home, he was pissed at himself for being pushed that far and giving in. He was angry at the fact that he was no closer to finding Teller's body since last night and for the most part that he was so mean to Haru. "You're an idiot" he scolded himself and walked into his house. The place seemed to have been cleaned very well by all the smells of toxins and cleaners, the living room had been cleared of the destroyed furniture and as Vin's eyes wandered further he saw that the backyard had been cleaned up. "Not a bad job mother" he praised as his eyes looked up at the inside balcony to the upstairs where his mother was staring down at him. "Just tell me that everything has been taken care of" she told him, watching him climb the stairs to the second story "Yes mother. All is well again and Michael has taken the leader to the wolves as a pet to prevent any future mishaps" Vin explained to her and then she walked over to him and gave him a hug. "I heard through the grape vine about Teller" she said softly into his ear and Vin's face dropped some more. Vin pushed her away from him "Yes. It was an unfortunate event and I am the only one to blame, but please get some sleep mother" he told her and then walked into his room.
He closed and locked his door before grabbing the closes thing to him and chucking it across the room. Which so happened to be a picture frame with a picture in it. The frame hit the furthest wall and the glass shattered every where, Vin shrugged it off and climbed into bed still fully clothed.

Conrad watched Michael intently and saw the mix of emotions, he thought that he would be more satisfied seeing the guy depressed about something but why get that upset over cooking. Even Conrad didn't pride himself in his cooking that much, it was just something that he was good at though that was probably because he came from a family that loved to cook. Conrad sighed heavily and got up from the couch, walking in front of Michael's view. He leaned over a bit so that he was eye to eye with the vampire "Trust in yourself when it comes to cooking. I will give better critique when I've tasted more of your cooking" with that he patted him on the leg and then walked off to Michael's bedroom. Vin stripped out of the clothes that were a bit too tight on him finally and shifted into his wolf form, it was so much easier to do when he wasn't stressed out and had a full stomach of food. He looked around at the room and remembered that he had made himself a bed on the floor of pillows and blankets just to stay away from Michael but that still hadn't worked out. Conrad had still woken up to find the vampire snuggled up to him so he sighed in his head and walked over to the pillows. He grabbed them one by one and tossed them back onto the bed and then he dragged one of the blankets up onto the bed. With that other blanket he dragged it up on the bed making sure it stayed in a ball for the most part and then pushed his way completely under the blanket. If Michael refused to leave him be when he slept then he would at least sleep on the bed.

Haru slept till around three in the morning.
He wasn't too sure what woke him up but as he blinked open sleepy eyes the only thing he could think of was Donovan.
Sitting up the kid soon realized he was back in his room, in his bed.
His parents must have come home late and put him to bed.
Reaching over he snagged one of the shirts he'd lent Teller and squeezed his eyes shut to tight, disappearing in a second.

Reappearing moments later Haru found himself in Vin's bed, right next to the guy in fact.
Looking down at him Haru's heart thumped a few times, making a small smile form on his lips.
Tossing the shirt to the side he scooted down against the other, falling back asleep in mere moments.

Blinking a few times Mike looked up at Conrad, sitting a bit straighter so they were eye level.
The wolf's words made sense and made him feel quite a bit better.
He knew Conrad was trying to apologize but it was definitely close enough.
He gave a small smile and a nod as he watched the were disappear around the corner.
Mike waited a few minutes after Conrad vanished before shutting off the TV and quickly following him to bed.
He was exhausted and honestly forgot to drink much that day.
Meh, he'd just eat tomorrow.
Once in his room his eyebrows shot up in surprise.
Conrad was actually sleep on his bed? And the pillows and blanket from the floor were back up there too.

Michael found himself grinning as he carefully climbed in besides the wolf, just close enough to feel his soft fur but hopefully not enough to make him move away.
After only a few minutes and a mumbled "g'nigh" Mike was out cold.

Vin slept like the dead that night, his might shut down for once and he barely even registered the wind outside or the fact that the house was returning to normal. The maids were back along with the butlers, the house was getting fixed up once again but one thing Vin hoped for was that his mother didn't try pushing him back into the company. He had already failed to complete high school on their time and he even disgraced the company by leaving his coming out party not to mention leaving the country for months on end. Vin rolled over on his side feeling that his body was becoming tight however as he rolled over he felt his body push into something. He slowly opened his eyes to find that the sun hadn't even peaked over the horizon and his eyes fell to a body next to him. Vin shifted to rub his eyes some and noticed Haru in the bed with him, his jaw slacked some. This kid was going to kill him one of these times or force Vin to do something stupid and hurt him.
Vin yawned into the back of his hand out of habit and slid from the bed. He needed a hot shower and a change of clothes before he even dealt with Haru. Inside the extravagant bathroom he turned the water on to the hottest possible setting that wouldn't strip his skin off and then got under the water. He let the water cascade over his body, not moving or caring how long it too. Vin wanted his body to feel warm for a while but as the darkened bathroom started to fill with light he knew it was time for him to finish up. A few minutes later he got out of the shower, dried off and walked to his closet. They wouldn't be doing anything fancy today so jeans and a shirt were probably best because who knew where the scent trail was going to lead them and he didn't want to be caught in some suit. Vin dressed inside his closet and started to dry his hair, that was another thing, his hair had grown out quite a bit. Reaching to the top of his shoulders now and looking in the mirror he saw Teller in himself. Vin quickly turned away from the mirror and walked up to his bed, he shook Haru's shoulders a bit "Wake up sleepy head. It's morning" he told him and then backed away to head back to the bathroom.

Conrad didn't move when he felt Michael climb into the bed though he didn't make a sound and just pretended to be asleep. He waited for the vampire to snuggle up to him like he had the other night but to Conrad's enjoyment the vampire only came so close. At first he liked that Michael was respecting his space more but then it saddened him, Conrad kind of liked fighting with the vampire. He was a nice challenge unlike all the dull ones that he found in this town. With those thoughts in mind Conrad shifted his head further under the covers but rolled to his other side that faced Michael and buried his head in to the vampires chest. The coldness was nice for a change and he wanted to see how Michael would react to this little bit of compassion. Kind of like a game for him since he wasn't able to full sleep but just rest and in the morning he would push the vampire just a little more for his own entertainment.

Haru mumbled something about 'five more minutes' before Vin walked away but it was about ten or fifteen minutes later that his body finally decided it was done laying around.
With a quiet groan he sat up, rubbing at sleepy eyes and blinking around to try and remember where he was.
A few quick glances and sniffs and he realized he must have teleported to Donovan's last night.
Alright, now that the 'where' is settled time to get the tired vampire butt up.
Moving to the edge of the bed he carefully dropped to his feet and sauntered towards the bathroom.
Peeking his head into the bathroom Haru grinned mumbling; "Morning Vin."
A yawn quickly followed his words as the slightly shorter vampire moved to run his hands under the sink water, then splash it on his face to try and wake up.
"I brought the shirt we needed last night...I think."
He smelled it as he sat up and pretty sure he saw it next to him in bed too.
Haru was game for leaving whenever Vin wanted too though breakfast might be good, his stomach was growling quite loudly.

Michael actually slept rather well for the second time in a long while.
Even though he was pretty sure he didn't move too close to Conrad he still felt the wolf's heat seep into his frigid bones.
It took the vampire a little while to actually wake up but as he slowly blinked open soft goldish-brown eyes surprise was written all over his face.
He had Conrad's wolf snug in his arms.
But...how? The other guy would have killed him if he even tried to hug him...
Blinking a few times to make sure he wasn't going insane Mike carefully removed his arms from the other, not wanting to make him angry so early in the morning.
He'd probably just done it because he had felt so warm...guess he'll just have to sleep further away so this didn't happen again.
Too bad though, he really loved that warmth.

As Michael scooted back a little the cold took over quickly, forcing a small shiver to run down his spine.
Bah, a vampire actually wanting to feel warm was stupid; or at least that's what he told himself.
Sliding out of bed Mike headed for the fridge, his mouth was dry and his stomach growling hungrily.

Vin searched through the bathroom to find a comb or brush, something so that he could get the knots out of his hair. "Morning Haru" he said when the vampire poked his head into the bathroom "Yes" Vin exclaimed when he found a comb hidden the the back of a drawer. He began to brush out his hair while trying to avoid looking at himself in the mirror. "Alright, well after some breakfast we'll get started on the trail...maybe give Michael a call and see if he found out any new information from the mutt" Vin started off and when his hair was brushed out he tossed the comb on the counter top so he wouldn't have to search for it next time.
Vin walked up to Haru and grabbed his hand whether he liked it or not and started out of his room. He figured that being a little more of himself around Haru wouldn't be so bad and if the kid didn't like it then he shouldn't push Vin like he had. Walking into the kitchen he saw two bottles already on the counter top and there was his mother sitting with the newspaper and her drink "Morning mother" he said softly walking over to the fridge to get more to drink. "Haru why don't you take the two that are already prepared" Vin told the kid and pulled out his breakfast. "Mother this is Haru. Haru this is my mother" he said as an after thought while putting his drinks in the microwave. She dropped her newspaper to the counter and looked at Haru "It's nice to meet you" she told him and then turned her attention to Vin "What are you two up to today?" She asked and Vin froze, he didn't wanted to tell his mother about their plans just yet. He didn't want to worry her further even though she didn't look like she was worried. "Eh can't say for sure" he said hoping Haur wouldn't say anything and then pulled his drinks out of the microwave and quickly drank one.

So Conrad was finally able to get some sleep but it lasted only two hours, when he felt the coldness move away from him he scooted closer to it. Well he tried but then it was gone. Conrad lifted his head some and shook the blankets from himself. He looked around and Michael was no where in the room, if his face could have showed it he would have looked sad. Conrad got to his paws still on the bed and stretched his body with a giant yawn. Soon he jumped from the bed and trotted out of the bedroom, he sniffed a few times to try and find the vampire. Breakfast Conrad through to himself and turned, heading for the kitchen.
He stopped in the doorway and stared at Michael for a little bit trying to think of what he wanted to do to screw with the vampire. Apparently his little stunt in the bed hadn't phased Michael so he needed to do something more drastic. Conrad carefully padded behind Michael and then shoved his head into the back of the Vampires knees, he then bounced backwards some and wagged his tail like he wanted to play. Maybe this would confused the hell out of him and Conrad could laugh at the look on his face. He gave a small bark and wagged his tail a little harder. As much as it started out as wanting to mess with him he couldn't deny that it felt kind of nice acting like this.

Haru chuckled as he was tugged downstairs to the kitchen. He noticed Vin's mom sitting at the table and watched her until he was introduced and she dropped her paper to address him.
With a polite nod he smiled and replied;
"Nice to meet you ma'am."
Walking over to the two already-heated blood packs he grabbed one and started sipping happily.
He'd really been hungry after teleporting half asleep so it definitely hit the spot.
At Donovan's mother's question he just bit down on his drink and shrugged as if he had no clue.
He'd tucked the shirt halfway into his shorts so it looked like he was just going for a run...though he already had a shirt on.
He could just say he'd switch it out if the other questioned him.
Stepping out of the way so Vin could heat up his blood Haru leaned against the counter, relaxing as he sipped at the second thing of blood.

Mike had been so engrossed in breakfast that he hadn't even noticed the wolf padding into the room behind him.
With a yip his legs buckled, throwing the pouch across the counter.
Thankfully the thing was basically empty but as Mike landed and whirled he nearly tore apart the pup.
When he realized who it was he flopped back onto his hands with a shaky sigh.
"Damnit Conrad, don't do that."
Noticing the wolf's playfulness he raised a brow, glancing around in confusion.
"I'm pretty sure I'm not still sleeping..."
Meeting the pup's gaze again he flinched at the bark, then chuckled.
"I guess..."
Getting up into a squat he gave a low growl then blurred as he tackled the pup.
In a second he had Conrad on his back and the world's best belly scratching initiated.
His claws were partially out, blunted just enough to not break the skin but give one hell of a good scratch.
One of his hands was working in a blur up on Conrad's chest while the other got down near the bend of his legs.
"Gotta be faster than that, pup!"

Of course he wasn't sure Conrad wanted to go anywhere with this type of insane belly scratching...
He couldn't keep it up too long but at least he hoped it was enjoyable. Canines loved belly scratches right?

She eyed the two young vampires trying to figure out if she should press it but decided against it. She picked up her paper and her drink then headed out of the kitchen though she stopped near Haru "Well you two have fun, oh and don't let him push you around too much. Vin can be pretty thick headed" she told Haru and Vin almost chucked his breakfast at her "Thanks mother" Vin sneered and just finished off the other cup of blood before he tossed it in the trash. Was everyone out to get him? Or at least make him look like a ass to everyone? Vin sighed heavily waiting for his mother to leave the kitchen before he suggested they leave and start on the trail. That reminded him, he needed to give Michael a call about the information.

Conrad's ears flattened against his head, he didn't plan on pissing the guy off, he just wanted to have a bit of fun. He was about to turn around and leave the room quickly however that didn't work out. Before he knew it, he was on his back and Michael was scratching his belly. Conrad was about to snap at the guy but it felt good, his tongue lulled out the side of his muzzle and his left back leg started to move on its own. No had touched him like this and he was confused about how Michael knew to do this.
At the vampires words he focused on his face and then shifted his weight. Conrad jumped to his paws and shoved his head into Michael's shoulder. When they were both on the ground once more but Conrad was over him he started to lick his face. For some reason it was easy to act like a normal dog, Conrad had some back home so he was just mimicking their actions. Surprisingly it was easy to do and was fun.

Haru nodded and quickly bounded out the door, grabbing the shirt from his waistband.
Taking a long sniff it was pretty easy to find a trail drifting on the wind.
It had been less than a week so they shouldn't have too much trouble finding where the pup had ended up.
It was just odd though...why take a wolf pup's body when he barely had any family anyways?
Vin and his mom were technically the kid's only living relatives who might care to have his body back but still, they were vampires.
"I don't really get why someone would take him..."
Sniffing a bit more he turned down the street towards town.
He figured Vin would easily catch up once he was ready to head out.

Michael laughed lightly as he saw Conrad's leg kick and his tongue lull to the side.
Such an adorable pup!!
He would totally be squealing and hugging the guy if it wouldn't get his throat ripped out.
When Mike was pushed back and licked he tried to turn his head back and forth to keep the tongue out of his face but it did little to stop Conrad.
After a moment he shifted, getting the wolf off balance just enough so that he could grab him around the shoulders and tug him in for a tight hug.
....and screw it.
He pressed a big kiss right between the pup's eyes before letting him go and hopping up onto the counter, sticking his tongue out with a grin.
"Someone's hyper for such an early time."
They probably should get back to bed soon since it was only around 1 or 2 in the morning.

Vin was happy that Haru hadn't replied to his mother's warnings and that she just left the room. He sighed happily and took off behind Haru, it wasn't hard to remembered Teller's smell. It was like a rain storm in the middle of the forest or dew hanging on the leaves once the sun came up. Vin closed his eyes as he came up beside Haru "I don't know either. Maybe someone...actually I don't know. All I can think about is Conrad had his goons do something to his body" Vin told him and opened his eyes. He was glad that they didn't have to walk at normal human speed, otherwise this would take weeks. At their speed they could hunt down each trail and follow all leads in about a day. The faster they got this done the better off everyone would be and could move on. But with those thoughts it was mostly because Vin wanted to lay Teller to rest and move on with Haru.

Conrad was having a great time and if his vocal cords had allowed it anyone would be able to hear him laughing though the sound was only in his head. He enjoyed the time that they were having right now but just as quickly as it started, it ended. Conrad's brows knitted together at the kiss and he quickly sat back on his hunches seeing Michael on the counter top. He shifted his head to the side a little bit and looked up at the vampire Why is he on the counter? He thought to himself and then walked over to the counter placing his front paws on the counter top. As much as he could he paw at Michael tried to make him come down from the counter. Conrad whined a little bit when he couldn't reach that far to get at even Michael's foot, since that wasn't working he dropped back down to the ground and pranced around. He yipped a couple of times and then walked out of the room. He made his way around the living room and back into the kitchen, he was too awake right now to think of anything else but apparently he had extra energy to burn because he wasn't even hungry right now.

Haru was doing his best tracking but each time he came to a place that he thought the smell would be strongest it seemed to drift away on the wind.
He went to the place where Tell and Vin met at his mother's get-together. Then he found his way to school then the place where he'd stayed in the forest for a few months surviving on rabbits while Vin was traveling...but these were all dead ends.
Stopping he hunched his shoulders a bit and took a few more sniffs.
"I keep hitting dead ends..."
The kid was a pretty good tracker but he was used to tracking vampire scents, not wolves.
Having the canine scent hidden strongly in a forest wasn't something he was used too.
The fact that the kid had basically smelled like rain definitely wasn't helping either.

Mike thought his eyes were about to be forcefully removed from his face for that kiss but it didn't even seem like Conrad cared.
Watching the pup for a few more seconds he decided to slide back down, plopping onto his bare feet with a thought.
"Come on, let's get rid of some of that extra energy."
Heading over to the lanai doors he quickly shoved them open and stepped outside.
It was decently warm outside and considering his pool was heated they should be good.
Grinning over at Conrad Michael quickly yanked off his shirt, forgetting that he had intentionally put it on to hide his scars, and bolted for the pool, jumping in with a small splash.
A moment later his head broke through the surface with a huge grin on it.
"Come on pup! Time to wear you out!"
Tomorrow was supposed to be school but he wasn't really sure if he was gonna go or not.
Mike was top rank out of the juniors but if he left Conrad at home that would just seem unfair.
He'd have to ask him once they were done messing around.

Vin watched Haru work though he was no better, all the trails that he found ended with no body. Would Teller's body even still be in the city? Maybe Conrad had told the truth and didn't know what happened to Teller. As they slowed their pace Vin looked towards the sky, at this rate they were gonna end up with nothing to show for a funeral. He sighed lightly and then grabbed Haru pulling him into a hug because he looked more depressed about this then Vin. "Maybe there is no body to find" he said in defeat. They could have burned Teller's body with the other without realizing it and now there was nothing that could be done about it. "Let's stop this Haru...things are going back to normal and he'll always be in our thoughts" Vin told the kid and started to head back home. "I guess we need to move on, we can't stop our lives because something tried to shift it. School is starting back up and life goes on" Vin said trying to cheer him up some or at least get his mind off the hunt. But for Vin he would continue searching while Haru was in school, it wasn't like he had anything going on in his life right now that required all of his attention.

Conrad bolted from the doors to the backyard once they were open and started to run around the yard. He was glad that Michael had a large backyard otherwise he would have gotten bored already. Conrad stopped when he noticed Michael strip off his shirt and dive in the water, it looked like fun. He lifted his head to the sky howling once at Michael's act and then saw the moon hanging low in the day sky. Full moon tonight he thought to himself, that explained why he had so much energy. He turned his head to the back fence once wondering what was on the other side, Conrad would always go hunting at the full moon to keep himself from terrorizing his hometown. His attention was brought back when the vampire called him pup, he was no pup. With that Conrad launched himself into the pool right at Michael but he held no defensive stance. He wanted to play with the vampire because he knew that it would take a lot to break him so Conrad could be as rough as he wanted.

Haru nodded but couldn't look up at Donovan.
He was blinking rapidly, trying to stop the tears that were threatening to spill over.
Chewing at his bottom lip he stopped walking when they were a half block from his house and hugged Vin's arm as tight as possible.
He was a vampire so he couldn't really cut off circulation much.
Burying his face into the others' arm Haru let the waterworks start.
The kid wasn't one for crying but he really did wish they had managed to find Teller's body, he'd been a great friend for the short time they'd known each other and he really wanted to put him to rest properly.

Mike watched Conrad closely as the wolf paced along his backyard.
It was fenced off for privacy because he'd had to use it for vampire meetings a few times.
He honestly thought the guy might bolt to get away from him but as the wolf tilted his head up and howled Mike followed its' gaze.
"Oh...full moon."
He should have known that was why Conrad was going crazy.
Michael had heard of wolves getting hyper-excited on full moon nights but never actually seen it happen.
It just kinda looked like he had too much caffeine.
Blinking out of his daze Mike looked back at Conrad as he heard paws hitting the ground and was abruptly greeted with a furball to the face.
Splashing down into the water at the impact he quickly kicked to the surface and grabbed the pup, sending him flying to the other end of the pool.
"Ha! You think you can handle me?!"
He gave a playful growl and ducked underwater, only to reappear and grab Conrad's legs, then tossing the wolf again to the other end of the pool.
