"Yeah. We better hurry though. They're strict and we don't want to get caught. Come on." she said brightening up.

They slipped through the gates and got to the other side. They walked until they're on the marketplace. She grabbed Jake towards Giovanni's place.
 
"If, potentially, we get in to Giovanni's gang, and get a job, then what? Are we going to return back to your house, or what?"

Jake was looking around before he stopped to ask Cherie the question. The blue sky was streaked with grayish blackish clouds.
 
"We find another hideout but this time, you're gonna choose. But if we did get in Giovanni's gang, we'll be outdoors most of the time. We won't have permanent place to live. Is that fine with you?" Cherie said while looking at Jake seriously.

She also looked up at the sky. It's so wide. She wonders if it'll ever be clear and sunny.
