(this is my attempt at GMing on Iwaku so pardon how ugly this is)
You'd always wanted to be a part of The Powered Games. A game show, reality show, and competition all rolled into one, purely for those among the populace that lived a life beyond the mundane. The contestants were both powered and unpowered, but what united them is that they were talented in ways that normal people couldn't hope to be, whether born into it or made that way.
You had survived the elimination rounds, unfilmed, and showed the judges that you were the best of the best. Now the real games started, and eliminations were over. You would be assigned a team before every event, and judged on your performance. By the end of each week, you would have to rely upon your own teammates to vote on if you'd stay within the games.
Minuscule cameras flew around you and the other contestants as you entered The House, where you would be staying together in the course of the games.
Plot...
The Powered Games are a game show and reality show all rolled into one that consists of pitting superpowered humans against each other. This late in the game, the best of the best are competing against each other. Among the contestants are those born with their abilities, and those that were given theirs through technological means.
Each in-game week, a new challenge will be issued, and the two teams will be competing against each other. Some weeks will consist of game challenges, like capture the flag, and others will consist of team vs team challenges.
At the end of each week, I will be holding an anonymous poll on the IC thread where each player will get to choose one person from each team to vote off the game. Once your character is voted off, there will likely be other chances for you to bring them back--whether for other challenges or for wildcards.
Your characters may be voted off for a myriad of reasons, whether because they don't get along with others, because they drag their team down, or because they're a threat to the other team.
So you better hope to making friends

-- Two characters per player allowed (but if you make two, one must be male and one must be female)
-- IC drama is fine, and encouraged
-- OOC drama is not
-- Your character doesn't have to be a hero, villainous types are welcome too
