Christopher moved on to the soup, curious by the guards words. "We are all born into this world, he used to tell us, to walk a path. To die is to be forgotten, but as long as you are remembered, then you will live on. That is what we do, that is why we become heroes, that is why we become legends. Because we carry each other in our hearts, telling the stories of our gods, our legends, our heroes... To ensure they will live on this way, always, in this world we live in." He then goes back to his soup, not feeling the need to continue going on for this guard since he didn't seem to be on the same page as he was.

Meanwhile, as night drew closer, a lone man walked, his face concealed by what looked like a mask that had stitches at the ends of it, his cloak moved around him as his burnt left eye changes through different colors quickly. "You sent an assassin?" One of the Dark Wizard Guild Members asked Fury.

"Of course I did. You didn't think I was going to let them go, did you? The assassin will send a... Warning message."

"And what if he gets caught? I've heard the stories, of how clumsy so called assassins get, showing themselves and disgracing the name Assassin!"

"He isn't going to even need to enter the kingdom for this." Fury spoke with a confident smirk. "He will wait until night to send them my message. When they get it, they will fortify their defenses, tension will spread and it will all begin."

"Okay, so even if he manages to find a spot to spy on them from, how will he send a message from so far away?"

"Magic." Fury turned his back to the other member. "Magic opens the gateways, and we will use them to our advantage. Isn't that what your master once said?" The other member tenses up quickly, narrowing his eyes at Fury as Fury begins to walk away.

"What if The Fallen One hears of your scheming?! He won't approve of you threatening a kingdom we have no quarrels with!"

"I will retrieve the item, as is my task. Nothing more, nothing less."

"Hello, I am Aliah" She said as she curtsied, "It's quite a pleasure to meet you, and yes I'm needing a home and a job If it wouldn't be in your way" Aliah said as she looked around the room seeing majestic stained glass windows and fell in love with them. "For my job I am very good at fighting, it's a different way then swords but it's just as powerful"

Arianna smiled curiously as she listened to this newcomer speak. She wasn't overly formal, speaking as politely as she would with anyone else and not addressing the Queen in a formal way. Arianna liked this.

"Perhaps a position within our small army would suit you? You get paid simply for being on the list and it isn't dangerous, as our ranks basically never have to do battle. Those who do wish to occupy themselves have positions within the castle as guards. You'd have all the free time in the world unless, Arzana forbid, any sort of battle for which we will require your services breaks out." Arianna smiled sweetly as she spoke, brushing a loose lock of brown hair from her face. "And is there anything specific you would like for your house?"

The guard simply shrugged his shoulders as the boy ate. "When you are finished I will take you to the Queen," he said.

"Cool!" Christopher finishes up the meal as he gets up to his feet. "Can we explore the castle first, can we, can we?!" Christopher's child instincts taking over, a new castle to explore, new people to see, it overwhelmed him very quickly and made him very excited.

In the darkest part of the caverns sat the most respected member of the Guild, not even a member, the Founder and Leader himself. Something had come to his attention, as a fiery little sprite poofs next to him. "My liege!" It speaks in a tiny little voice. "There is a problem, someone has appeared close to a nearby kingdom who holds a rare power within her!"

"A rare power?" The Fallen One asks. "And you think this power can threaten me?"

"Threaten? Oh, it could do far more than that, my liege!" The red sprite said frantically.

"Interesting. I recall something like this before in the past, and again it shows up in these times. Very curious indeed." Waving his right hand, two large rocks seem to grind backwards to reveal a hidden passage, one which a cloaked figure enters through. "I have need of your services once again, old friend."

"As you command, my leader. What is it that you need of this old one?" The figure kneels before The Fallen One.

"We have a problem, one which I know only you can fix."

"Something small would be good, I'm use to small and cozy, and yes I'd love to join your small army is it okay if I use my tesen instead of the regular sword and bow's though" Aliah asked as she bowed her head to show respect.

Arianna smiled at Aliah and nodded.

"Absolutely. Most of our soldiers have their choice of weapons anyways, the regular ones are just for those without anything of their own," she said softly, beginning to flip through her heavy book. "Let's see....something small..."

The guard raised an eyebrow at his words. "I am sure that if the Queen has any intention of you staying, she will give you a tour herself," he said.

Christopher let out a small sigh as his excitement would have to wait. But on the other hand, the Queen lady sounded like she wanted to talk to him first, so he had no problem with that. "Okey dokey, then I am ready! Let's go, let's go on an adventure! Yeah, yeah, yeah!" Christopher starts to run wildly around the guard, clearly hyper and was going to be difficult for him to get used to.

Meanwhile, the masked assassin stops at a point, his one visible eye changing color again as he puts down some prepared equipment. Setting down a weapon into it, he pulls out an arrow and flicks the tip of it, watching it shift to a darker color for a moment and making a 'ting' sound before he sets the arrow into it. Pulling the weapon back and setting it up into place, the figure sits down next to it's unusual weapon and waits, like a lifeless statue, as the wind blows over him.

"That's good, not going to waste years of training" Aliah giggled after that and sat there waiting for the queen. She took in the marvelous view of the throne room and simply relaxed to think over what her life would be like here.

The guard raised an eyebrow, but nodded. "Very well...right this way," he said, stepping out of the room and beginning down the hallway, towards the stairs. "This hallway is where all the guest rooms are located. Visitors from far-off lands and other Kingdoms stay here when they visit the Queen, unless they wish to pay for accommodations within the town, and guest rooms are typically given to young princes and princesses - the Queen does not, however, have any children as of yet."

Arianna let out a musical, chiming laugh and she nodded.

"No, certainly not!" she said, grinning over at the other woman. She flipped through a few more pages of the book and then smiled. "One bedroom, one washroom, a kitchen, and two spare rooms, perhaps a dining room and a sitting room, or a storage room, or a guest room... how does that sound?"

"Perfect thank you so much!" Aliah said as she curtsied and walking to her new home " I'm so happy!" Aliah said to herself and she continued on her way home

Arianna blinked in surprise as Aliah began to leave. Arianna hadn't even told her yet where the house was, nor had she given her the price. She frowned a bit, figuring the woman would realise her mistake momentarily and come back.

Aliah realized something she hit herself "stupid stupid stupid where are you even headed!" Aliah walked back to the throne room "Sorry I got a bit ahead of myself there I just haven't had a home in such a long time."

Arianna smiled warmly and gave a gentle nod.

"Of course, it's fine," she said to her. "The house will cost you one hundred and ten gold per month, which will be easy for you, given that you're accepting a position within the army. If you'd like, I can have a guard escort you there, so you needn't worry about getting lost, and also because it is getting dark outside."

Christopher looks at them and stares, nodding before running off after the guard. "They look so fancy and cozy." He comments, what was he going to do if he was forced to live somewhere in the kingdom, he was a child for goodness sakes, even he realized he couldn't provide the gold on his own, nor manage a house all on his own. His situation, to him, seemed like it would be one of just that, but he remembers the guest rooms, and he thinks of a plan involving the Queen and said rooms.

"Okay that'd be wonderful and once again thank you so much and sorry for running off earlier" Aliah said as she curtsied "Anything else that I should know?" Aliah said not wanting to make the same mistake again.

The guard nodded his head. "And every last one of them is different. They've been decorated and redecorated so much over the years that they're all so unique. I imagine that if the Queen intends on having you stay here, you'll be in one of the guest rooms," he said as he began to lead the boy down the grand staircase, which was just around the corner from the great doors to the throne room.

Arianna smiled, thinking for just a moment before shaking her head.

"No, not that I can think of," she replied with a grin. "If I need your services due to your work position, I will send someone for you, as I always have guards around the castle." With that, she waved over one of the guards standing just inside the ornate wooden throne room doors and showed him the address in her blue leather-bound book. He looked at it and then nodded, smiling towards Aliah. "If you'll please follow me, ma'am," said the guard politely, going over to the doors and opening them, holding them for her to go through.

"Thank you once again," Aliah said as she walked out and waited for the guard eventually being led to her home she walked in and sat down on a couch that was in there already. "Home sweet home"

As Arianna shifted her gaze to the woman who had entered the room, her mind drifted momentarily back to the little boy she had found in the woods. She hoped that he was alright - of course, if something had happened, the guard stationed in his room would have come to her. She knew he was fine, and perhaps he was being fed even as she thought of him.

Christopher gets a sudden big grin on his face, and he could no longer hold back any longer. "So cool!" Christopher suddenly leaps up and jumps off a wall, followed by doing it again and he suddenly darts past the guard by hopping off the walls, showing how surprisingly athletic he was for his age, and how strong his body apparently was too. He ends up coming back down and landing down near the guard, though his cheers as he wall hopped were rather loud and noisy. "Let's go, let's go!"

The guard raised an eyebrow as he watched the little boy running and jumping about, but he just nodded. He walked around the corner after they reached the bottom of the stairs and he paused outside the throne room doors. "I don't know what the Queen will say to you when we go in, but I doubt it will be at all bad - she seemed very worried when she brought you here, and made me promise to watch you and take care of you until you were well enough to come to her. Just remember, young one, to be courteous and polite when you speak with her, do you understand?" asked the guard.
