Nah, you don't have to wait. You don't really know her so just be like "The escort called out ladies first, and the female tribute walked up to the stage". If you really want you can go find her CS and she might have mentioned in the history if she volunteered or not and you can use that, but otherwise, you really don't have to wait.

Appearance:
Walter has black curly hair and bright amber hazel eyes. He's beige skin that tans easily and is freckled. Apart from the other boys in his district, he is rather slim but still is somewhat muscular and lean. Also is very tall, about 6'2". He wears glasses just because. He always has a crooked half smile on his face.

Personality:
Walter is a calm and laid-back guy. However, he's very, for lack of a better word, dorky and is often witty, enthusiastic, and sarcastic, but not in a contemptible or repelling way. He is very outgoing and friendly and likes to meet new people, though most (within his district) dislike him because he's not the type to take his training seriously. Unlike most careers in his district who view their training as business, Walter likes to see it as more of a recreation and tries to make training fun rather than grave. He's different from most careers in the way that he isn't arrogant or stubborn; he's humble and kind and very protective of those he is close to.

Skills:
Walter is adept with using bladed weapons; not necessarily just knives or swords – he finds it rather boring - but specifically a Kyoketshu Shogei (2 knives linked by a long chain). He's good at fighting long-distance, but prefers to strangle and cut enemies in close combat (he likes the thrill of close combat). If he must, he uses throwing axes as back-up.

Strengths:
Walter is strong and has fast reflexes. He's also creative and clever when it comes to strategizing.

Weaknesses:
However, when it comes to his strategies in particular, they're very endangering and risky. He is not ruthless, but rather somewhat reckless and is not easily trusted. Although he is enthusiastic when it comes to fighting and makes it fun, he can never bring himself to kill anyone. He may just as well seriously injure them rather than take their life.

Background history:
Walter grew up in a very jovial household with his parents and older brother. His parents never liked the customs within their district (They found it a bit incompetent to train their children because many others were doing the same thing, and what were the odds of their children being chosen for the games if someone was going to volunteer for them instead?) and tried to stray their children away from such culture. Instead, they had other alternatves to be joyful and enthusiastic of. With that, Walter never trained for the games. Walter's older brother, Ruben, was level-headed, serious, quite stubborn, and very self-conscious about his reputation and often trained in secret with their aunt and uncle who were trainers in the district.
When Walter was 7, his parents died of unknown causes, and he was very torn. Ruben was as well, but he felt somewhat relieved that he didn't need to hide his training anymore. The two have lived with their aunt and uncle since then (They forced the boys to train. They always wanted their children to enter the games, but unfortunately, they never had children of their own). Walter was scared of training at first but found it somewhat fun and entertaining along the way. Along the years of training, he eventually and ironically surpassed Ruben, who has been training years before him. His aunt and uncle began to praise him more than Ruben. Ruben began to feel envious of Walter and embarrassed to be surpassed by someone younger. There was some sort of rivalry grew between the two brothers. Walter never noticed how much his brother envied him.

We'll give everyone else a day to post their reaping posts and move onto the train ride, where districts can chat with their partners (and for those who don't have a partner, they can either make up an NPC to chat with briefly, or chat up their mentors or something. Give them names and stuff if you wish).
 
We will be able to move onto the train rides today! You can either starts your posts now or wait for mine or Shadic's- I won't be home for awhile though so you can get to it guys~
 
I am going on a trip with my church from Sunday to Friday. I probable wont be able to get on unless I'm aloud internet accesses.

A few people have continued to reply but if the majority of the group is disinterested this roleplay very well may be dead.

Unfortunately I do believe this is dead X_X

Although I suppose if anyone still interested wants to do a small PM group roleplay or something that could be cool.
