The Eventyde Festival is a large group roleplay based on a magical mysterious festival hosted at the Grand Eventyde Estates. This festival is a testament to arcane knowledge, divine truths, and discovering one's mettle. Several affluent supernatural guests are invited to participate in the festival and find out what's going on behind the walled world. To protect the identities of each participant all guests must wear a masque while wandering the grounds or playing in the activities.
The magic and mysterium that awaits may baffle some, and bemuse others. There is no telling the outcomes of the many challenges and opportunities to grow in this ever-going festival. There are a few options as a player when joining this game.
option one
Be one of the Guests at the Eventyde Festival, implore your supernatural abilities, and see if you can figure out why you are there and for what reason.
option two
Be a Vendor, Servant, or Performer who has been hired by the head of the estate to give some kind of experience to the guests and owners. You know a little more about the festival in general, but haven't met the owner personally, as the job offer would have been in a newsletter months prior. You can move more discreetly around the grounds than guests, and you also don't have to wear a full mask when in play.
option three
Be a Member of the Eventyde Family, a mysterious and wealthy bunch that are more than meets the eye. You would know the most about the festival, and what the antics of it all are. Depending on storylines you may play in the festival and take part but certain events may not affect you and turn into a different scenario than guests. The only caveat to this option is you are heavily monitored by the estate and any wrong move can see you to an untimely end.
