Re: Anirune Forest - CHAPTER 3

While running with Soldato, Ian was amazing at how powerful the machine was.

"Damn you're good! That troll didn't make you rage!"

Ian held his Raffica more firmly and put his finger over the trigger.

"Sorry for not trying to shoot those things. I'm a terrible shot with guns of any kind, I guess due to my lack of depth-perception..."

The machine did not look very interested.

"Well...umm...anyway...sorry for not helping out."

"It is fine, Ian."

"Err...thanks..."

Ian continued to walk awkwardly next to his metal companion, observing everything around him. He listened deeply to the trees and the leaves as they rustled about in the wind, and the footsteps of he and Soldato. He listened to the mechanical pieces that appeared to make Soldato function, and the distant fighting. He checked the colors of the trees and the flora around him, noticing the increasing amount of gunpowder, dust, ash, and blood layered onto the trees. But something was off. Ahead was a small mound, nothing usually unnatural. But the appearance was off about this mound, the proportions were too exact, a very unnatural occasion. It became more and more obvious that the mound in front of them was no mound...

"STOP!"

"What is it?" the machine asked, halting abruptly.

"Watch..."

Ian picked up a large stone laying around on the ground. He tossed it at the mound, and the mound presently exploded, with a curious electrical pulse coming out of it. Ian recognized this sort of pulse. It was an electro magnetic pulse.

"Shit!" he said, eyes darting around.

"They have EMP mines scattered about!"

He then heard something else unnatural. It was something in the forest...

And then, from the tall trees came a large party of about 36 noobs, 12 flamers, 4 trolls, and a pimprat.

"Shoot or run...SHOOT OR RUN!"

Re: Anirune Forest - CHAPTER 3

Soldato's eye panned side to side in its visor marking all of the approaching noobs. He then shifted his eye over the EMP field but he was unsure of how far it would go. He then turned down to see Ian who was still looking in shock at the noobs.

Anaylysis. Hostiles number in over 50 including 4 entries listed as Troll. Various unknown elements. Danger: Moderate to Unknown. Fleeing through even with the assistance of jump jets may result in loss of remaining personal data if one is activated. That is unacceptable, no further data must be lost.

The robot planted it's blade into the ground before reaching to it's hip and pulling out the pistol that was stowed there. He slid the weapon into a slot below his shield before pulling the other blade form his back and retrieving the one in the ground.

"Ian. If things start looking baddly you must continue on your own." Soldato said as a clear cover slid over his visor to protect it, "Also I suggest you hide."

A hail of small arms fire bounced and pinged off his armor as if on que as the robot began charging at the incoming swarm of noobs. The two blades began to glow red as they activated as his eye began panning between potential targets. One of the smaller ones in the back threw a chain at the charging machine to slow it down only to be answered with a pair of laser bolts through its chest. Soldato began to pick out targets of opportunity with his remaining shots.

The noobs began to scatter as a duo of the remaining flamers lobbed fireballs at the machine. Soldato brought his shield up blocking one with it but the other impacted his right arm scorching some more paint off it. Before they had the chance to attack again each one was cleaved effortlessly in half by a saber each. Soldato continued his charge directly up to one of the trolls before leaping and planting a metal foot directly into it's chest. There was a series of cracks as the beings ribcage fragmented under the blow and the remaining weight as the robot rode it to the ground.

Combat Analysis: Damage reports on right arm show that the fire has some unnatural qualities to it. Marking future beings as Flamers. Suggeted tactic is to dispatch either form afar or before they can attack enmasse. Increasing coolant flow to compensate.

The robot stood on the troll for a moment as it coughed its internals out before once again setting off towards the nearest group of noobs. A trio of flamers foaming at the mouth all proceeded to blow fire as Soldato brought up his shield. As he came through the flames they were hiding behind a large tree.

"CAN'T HIT US BEHIND COV-" They were cut off uncerimoniously by a single swipe of a heatsaber as it regarded the tree and themselves as butter.

"YOU FUCKING HACKER!"

The tree began to fall bringing a few others down with it and sending dust and debris into the air. A small group of noobs clustered together around a troll as they began firing randomly into their surroundings.

Combat Analysis: Targets appear to be confused. Dispersing smoke to keep elemnt of surprise.

Smoke began pouring out of the various vents in Soldato's frame as he dimmed his eye. The cluster of noobs continued firing in fear into the now darkening dust and smoke around them. They all leaped in fear every time the ground shook with a footstep. Even the troll was shaking as it whipped around with it's spear held ready. A loud thud caused them all to turn around and fire at nothing. Soldato's eye glowed for a second in the smoke behind them, his intent made clear.

The first to fall were two noobs, sheered in half by a heatsaber strike. Next came the troll as two sabers pluged through its chest and were torn outwords gutting the mass of fat and stupidty. The heatsabers came around taking a noob each before the warmachine simply crushed the last one under his foot. As the smoke cleared Soldato was a mix of steel grey, light blue and crimson red standing amongst a pile of dead noobs.

The silent warmachine finally spoke, "If you wish to live, You should retreat."

Soldato did not wait for their answer as he began to make his way at the next target. He was not designed to wait.

Summary: Soldato realizes that if he were to step on even one EMP mine all of his personal data would be lost. A risk too great, even to potential death. He then moves into combat showing his fearsome prowress against the platoon of noobs, killing them with inhuman effeciency. He offers them the chance to retreat for only a moment before continuing once again on his killing spree.

Re: Anirune Forest - CHAPTER 3

"Ian. If things start looking baddly you must continue on your own." Soldato said as a clear cover slid over his visor to protect it, "Also I suggest you hide."

Ian jumped on the order and hid in the nearest patch of flora and trees. As he watched, he saw Soldato planting it's blade into the ground before reaching to it's hip and pulling out the pistol that was stowed there. He slid the weapon into a slot below his shield before pulling the other blade form his back and retrieving the one in the ground. It was really fun to watch.

"HEY YOU FUCKING COWARD!"

Ian froze. He spine tingled. It appeared as though one of the flamers was talking to him. They couldn't be talking to the machine, he was NOT a coward. Ian turned around to see a flamer looking straight at him, flames and fiery liquids emerging from the mouth of the creature. Ian jumped to his left, and was safe. Kind of. The flamer simply turned and prepped for another shot. Ian tried to call out to the machine, but it looked a little busy killing everything else. Ian dodged another fireball and frantically grabbed for his gun.

"COME ON! COME ON!"

His trembling hands eventually took hold of a gun. It was his gun. He aimed, fired, and missed.

"YOU SUCK DICK AT SHOOTING!"

He did, but that didn't stop him. Not one bit. The three-shot bursts that left the gun were emerging at a rate where anybody with good eyesight could surely take down this flamer. But not Ian.

"JUST DIE ALREADY!"

The flamer laughed manically and blew more flames at Ian, slightly catching his legs.

"SHIT!"

He stopped, dropped, rolled, and dodged another incoming fireball. He shot his gun again, but realized he had used up all the ammo. Instinctively, he grabbed his folding shovel and charged at the flamer, bringing the shovel down forcefully and repeatedly.

"SHIT OW FUCK!"

The flamer stopped moving, and Ian sat down. His clothes were a slight bit more red than he remembered them to be. He took in deep breaths.

"If you wish to live, You should retreat."

Ian's mechanical cohort rushed in to kill some more baddies, so Ian decided to stay put, but clutched his shovel like it was his life (technically it was).

Re: Anirune Forest - CHAPTER 3

Fire licked the outside of the lead punisher.

"Your fucking tank is turning black its an improvement." the flamer yelled.

Tufts of dirt flew from clawed feet, low laughter-like growls formed in Vay's throat.

Screamed obscenities echoed and a deviant flayed itself with its chains.

Rapid but deep breathes, muscles loose but ready. Nostrils flared. Curse and promises of death screeched in the language of Pech. Alien eyes lit up with flashes of blue as the deviant's head disappeared, molten flesh sprayed everywhere as the charred body dropped to the ground. The flamer turned to see the flash of steel and the dull thud as the blades entered its chest. The rifle tore from Vay's grip as the lifeless body of the flamer tumbles across the ground. A troll, lumbered through hoard somehow avoiding the punisher tanks' fire that tore through the noobs around it.

"Yoo shoot like pussyn00dlol i smash like 1337 skllz 2 get kllz" it said in dullset tones. looking down it saw the kroot. LOL small I smash." it raised it's club and swung it downwards.

Vay jumped and with his claws held on to the troll's stomach. The troll looked at its un-bloodied club in confusion before Vay jumped up onto its shoulder and drawing Megan'es sword stabbed the troll in the neck. Blood gushed out and Vay twisted the handle pulling the blade out.

"Yur small pin... can't the troll fell to its knees swaying.

Vay landed on the ground, sword dripping with blood as the troll fell forwards crushing several of its comrade who were assaulting the storm-troopers on the spider.

A black alien tongue flicked against the blade. The taste of blood sending a wave of pleasure through the kroot and raising the sword and let loose an ear-piercing shriek.

The pimprat didn't know that hit him, the blade protruding from its chest, stabbed through from behind, its body torn in half. It wasn't long before the ground in front of the punishers was stained red and littered with bodies. Slow progress was make with Vay killing those that got thought the tanks withering fire, But the main group of trolls was getting closer.

Re: Anirune Forest - CHAPTER 3

It was a vast new world to explore and enjoy and to live in. The land was alive. Forests were green, and lush. Rivers and lakes were crystal blue and as clean as nature would allow. The sights were beautiful, the sounds echoing the life that filled the world.

But Seiji was still miserable.

He wanted to eat meat, he wanted a beer, he kind-of wanted a shower, and most of all, he wanted a special lady friend to share some pillow talk with. Yeah, miserable was how he would rate it.

He hadn't been long in this land. It must have only been a few days since the universe decided to burp him here. Unfortunately, the 'here' it landed him was effectively the middle of nowhere. It was beautiful, Seiji admitted in some small part of his mind, but he couldn't help but wonder why the universe couldn't have spat him out next to a Hilton, or some jacuzzi filled with this world's equivalent of Playboy Bunnies. The universe hated him, he decided not for the first time in his life.

Death, oh Death loves me. Universe? Yeah, she has it out for me. She must be Hera, and I'm Hercules, and Death is a very vengeful Aphrodite. Yes, that makes sense!

Dragging his feet through the massive forest, Seiji drifted slowly to a commotion he had heard sometime back. It was loud, and full of crackles and booms and yells. He knew what it was; unfortunately, it was the closest thing he could make out to being human contact. And it was all he could do, besides. Flight was out of the question, he had learned quickly. Oh, he preferred walking, most of the time, but when stranded in the middle of an expanse of trees, sometimes flying out was just so much more convenient.

Lost in random musings, Seiji stumbled quite unceremoniously onto the battle. As a matter of fact, he had stumbled into a crater caused by a stray blast, and was in quite the uncomfortable position. "Bloody, fucking, piece of--!"

Adjusting his backpack and long-sword, Seiji drug himself to the lip of the crater and spied. It wasn't epic, but it sure was messy. Giblets were everywhere; nothing new for Seiji. Most interestingly, he was staring into the back of some fellow covered in a bit of the giblets. The fellow was clutching a folding shovel, and looked worse for wear; his pants were covered in all manner of burns and blood and shi--mud. He in turn was staring into the back of a giant blue robot. And in front of the massive blue robot, was all manner of chaos.

Only the top of his head sticking out of the crater, Seiji decided it was time to make first contact.

"Psst, hey, dude. What's up?"

SUMMARY
: Seiji is new to Iwaku. He is lost and lonely and bored. Having heard the sounds of battle, with no other alternative, Seiji has decided to head for it. Once literally stumbling onto the battle, Seiji has decided to make contact with someone who looks somewhat out of place-- a fellow the universe knows as Ian...

Re: Anirune Forest - CHAPTER 3

"Psst, hey, dude. What's up?"

Ian did an incredible spin, dodge, semi-turn-flip. He ultimately then fell on his head. He regained his footing and grabbed his folding shovel, brandishing it defensively.

"W-who are you?!"

Re: Anirune Forest - CHAPTER 3

"Oh, uh... just some dude," Seiji said with a minor shrug, suspiciously glancing off to one side before glancing to the other. "Don't worry, though! I'm a friend. I won't punch your head off or something, I promise."

He laughed as he pulled himself out of the crater, adjusting himself as he stood tall before the finicky fellow. He had fair height, nothing special, with a compact, athletically-sturdy build. His hair was a dirty blond, and eyes a sparkling blue. He had a strong chin and sturdy jaw, covered in a thin sheen of stubble, and his clothes were covered in all sorts of filth. They used to be of a nice, expensive cut, but... Well, they looked like crap, now.

"Call me Seiji!" He stuck his hand out to the fellow in front of him, expecting a hand shake. "You? Oh, and the question still stands," he began, darting his eyes over Ian's head to the carnage behind him. "What's up? Want to hide? I think we should hide."

And without waiting for a reciprocating hand shake, he scrambled back for the cover of the crater.

Re: Anirune Forest - CHAPTER 3

"You can call me Seiji!"

Ian was relieved. This was a GOOD PERSON. Who was probably able to help him defend the big blue-

"You? Oh, and the question still stands, what's up? Want to hide? I think we should hide."

That would work. The machine seemed to be handling itself nicely, even though it wasn't really responding to anything that Ian did. Must have been a busy robot. Ian then saw Seiji jump into a crater.

"Where did that crater come from?"

But Ian didn't care. He jumped in it, right next to his newfound friend.

"By the way," he began, folding up his folding shovel and putting it in his bag.

"You can call me Ian."

Re: Anirune Forest - CHAPTER 3

"Ian!" Seiji repeated, storing the face to the name for (hopefully) future reference. He wasn't the best with names, or faces, but hey, in the off-chance that his brain would connect the two some day, should the need arise...

"Good, strong name, Ian is," Seiji idly said as he stuck his head back over the lip of the phantom crater. He peered about to see if they were safe enough, and thankfully, the big blue robot was still doing its thing.

"I just got here, uh... Few days back. Where's here? Also, what's that big blue thing back there? And why is it indiscriminately killing all of those, uh... Wait a sec, are those... n00bs? And, hey! That's a troll! I recognize that. Seems like the universe can be surprisingly identical all around, huh?"

Re: Anirune Forest - CHAPTER 3

ANIRUNE FOREST, DAY ONE OF THE ELDER INVASION, EARLY EVENING...

The Elder Spider thrashed in the forest clearing as Barship stormtroopers scaled its body. Any barbarians that might have come to its defence were being slaughtered by the Valkyries, not to mention the savage attacks of Vay and Soldato. As its summoning crystal was prized away, it did the only thing it could...

The slurping noise was deafening, shaking the body of the Spider and causing some of the troopers to fall. The vibrations moved out, disturbing the trees and dazing the warriors in the clearing. The sound rippled through the forest and towards the borders of Anirune.

The Spider was calling for help...

"Oh zogg!" Mizdogg shouted as he leapt from the hull of the Leman Russ and dived out of the path of an Elder Lazer. It was twenty foot wide, like a swathe of molten lava, and it tore through the tank detachment like a knife through butter. The Ork rolled across the ground as battletanks exploded and bounced around him. And to his left, a second Elder Spider raised above the tree canopy.

Up above, a Valkyrie was oblitered as another Elder in spherical form sliced through the air. Debris rained down on the clearing, followed by the third Spider deploying into combat form. All eight of its legs punched into the ground, knocking Vay aside. The forest shook, and barely a second had passed before its lazer fired and vapourized the trees around Soldato, Ian and Seiji, raining droplets of fire onto each of them.

The fourth Elder had a more violent entrance, slamming down in sphere form in the forest behind the stormtroopers. It bounced and crashed through the trees, decimating whole square acres of vegetation before it took Spider form. Its lazer cut over the heads of the stormtroopers, through the ranks of the Noobs, and into the tank detachment.

The three Spiders had the clearing surrounding, coming to the aid of their downed brother.

It was over...

But then something stranger happened... another slurping noise... from the south-east, where the nuclear mushroom cloud still hung over Shapeshifter Town. It was a distant call, but it was soon taken up by other Elders in the forest. One, two, three... dozens of slurping calls, like a wolf pack in chorus.

The three Spiders around the clearing lifted their lazer-eyes, scenting the air. And then all at once they dropped and curled back into sphere-form. With a trio of sonic-booms that shattered the clearing, the Elders took to the sky once more, sending more Valkyries spinning and rocketing away towards Shapeshifter Town.

In the reeling clearing, the injured Elder became still, and the surviving Noobs scattered into the trees, giving up the fight and retreating into hiding.

[SUMMARY: Elder reinforcements arrive and almost overwhelm the clearing. But then they are "called" away to Shapeshifter Town. Something is happening...]

Re: Anirune Forest - CHAPTER 3

"Where's here?"

"You are in Iwaku."

"Also, what's that big blue thing back there?"

"He's called Soldato. He's a little unresponsive at the moment."

"And why is it indiscriminately killing all of those, uh... Wait a sec, are those... n00bs? And, hey! That's a troll! I recognize that. Seems like the universe can be surprisingly identical all around, huh?"

"You're telling me! I got here recently too, so I'm still a little new to everything myself. I think we landed in some sort of invasion...and I'm looking for another large Iwaku icon to tell some SERIOUS info to. I'm what you'd call an...explorer, of sorts."

Re: Anirune Forest - CHAPTER 3

"Iwaku. Soldato. Explorer. Got it." Seiji nodded and looked up and away, doing his 'storing information for later' bit. He started hoping he wouldn't forget the information when suddenly, the Universe Herself suddenly decided to hit the Pause Button, Fast Forward Button, Record, and Erase all at the same time.

A horrible 'slurping' noise filled the air, and a massive red beam responded moments later. It cut a path some hundred meters ahead of Ian and Seiji, destroying beast and machine alike. The ground rocked numerous times to the melody of wild explosions, and Seiji shoved Ian's head down with a "Watch it!" as he saw a beam rake above their heads to blast away the trees around them, showering them in fiery remains.

Seiji popped his head above the lip and his eyes locked onto the tail-end of the action, witnessing the emergence and sudden retreat of the 'spider ball things' that Seiji thought of them as. It was then that things suddenly got quiet.

Not waiting on Ian, Seiji stepped out of the crater and surveyed the destruction. The N00bs scattering, Seiji whistled in mild astonishment and said in a booming voice:

"That sure was crazy, huh?!"

SUMMARY
: Seiji ducks for cover with Ian. Then he says hi. To everyone. Really loudly.

Re: Anirune Forest - CHAPTER 3

Musical Score: At the end of the rainbow - Hammerfall.

in the hour since the Spiders ahd departed, the survivors of the assault gathered together, Mizdogg, two squads worth of stormtroopers and a tank crew were all that remained, as for air assets, only the heavy lifter and two valkyries were still hovering over the battlefield, their pilots, nigh irreplaceable, were lost, possibly forever.

the vehicles burned brightly, the flames licking around the charred metal husks.

"Corporal Salidus to surviving air assets, lets get the fuck out of here" the battered elader of the infatry and armor crews said, having assumed command in the wake of the attack.

Mizzdog, limped towards them, over corpses of the noobs, and occasionally an imperial guardsman, the Ork stooped over each guardsman, taking their dogtags and putting them into a large, worn leather pouch as he moved on.

overhead, the heavy lifter came down gently, as did the two valkyries, and the infantry jogged tiredly to embark.

Mizdogg looked for the Kroot warrior that had joined the fray, but couldnt tell if he ahd been left behind or was in the other dropship.
Even one as socially unaware as an Ork could feel the waves of both anguish at the sheer number of comrades lost in the action, more than one of the humans were sobbing into their microbeads, and the Ork sniffled, though unused to the emotion.

slowly, the three aircraft limped back to the barship, both valkyries trailing smoke from their engines.

OOC: barship forces secure the chamber, but it costs them dearly, as these stormtroopers and pilots were going to train the clones once the machine got up and running, now, whether or not the remenants can do this task is impossible to say, though it is doubtful.

Re: Anirune Forest - CHAPTER 3

His mouth tasted like dirt and ashes. His head left as if he had taken a dive from a baracuda and the rest of his body was not feeling much better. His clawed finger raked against the dirt towards his torso palms flattening against the earth.

It was quiet, inside his head and out. Only the barest whisper remained its words unclear. Vay lay for a second listening to it. The seductive tones cradled his aching mind and yut he still felt its sting.

Slowly he pushed against the ground the hooks on his belt rattling and he pulled his legs underneath him. The memories of the battle hung in his mind even as he opened his eyes. The air stung, the smell of burnt flesh and metal invaded his nostrils, so familiar even absent the hydrogen of cooled plasma.

On his feet he scanned the ground. Wreckage and bodies lay in piles, some wheres till moving. In his mind the sides didn't matter, they were all weak. The voice seemed to purr at this thought and a shiver of painful pleasure shot up the xeno's spine catching him by surpise and he doubled over a small hiss emitting from his throat. It was then that he notices a familiar glint in the dirt. Half buried before him his rifle waited patiently and with a feeling of restrained joy he pulled it free of the earth. MEgan'es sword was already back in place.

He had everything he needed from this place, it was time to leave. With one last look at the glorious carnage he turned on his heel and set our at a run heading east. He had a new purpose, and he had to follow its wishes.

[summery] Vay retrieves his rifle and heads away from the battlefield following following the voice that has been with him since he arrived in Iwaku

Re: Anirune Forest - CHAPTER 3

An arc of black lighting crossed the sky horizontally. Then another in the oppisite direction. The number began increasing expontially and a small inky black orb appeared, increasing in size as the lighting jumped into it. Soon it was quite large and something looked as if it was struggling to break out of it, pushing out towards the battlezone.

Then with one final push it did. The black bubble burst and vanished as a small VTOL craft came stuttering out towards the Barship, one of its engines dead and leaking smoke while another was barely functional.

Meanwhile inside the craft it was chaos. The jump had gone worse than expected however no one had expected it was going to be as bad as it was. The pilot was dead, the co pilot struggled to keep control, and three of the five passengers were dead. Charles and the other living passenger were both also wounded, he knew his arm was dislocated but couldn't tell if the pain he felt on his chest was from a cracked rib or not.

The copilot meanwhile was frantic, calling over the radio, "M'aidez! M'aidez! This is Helios One! We are going down! Unkown region, activating distress beacon! M'aidez!" Then there was a second explosion coming from outside the hull as the other damaged engine finally blew out. The copilot gave out a warning and a few seconds later the craft began plummeting.

Charles looked towards the cockpit, saw the ground rushing towards them and looked across to the other man before everything went black.

Suddenly his vision came back. He was still in the craft and it was a wreck on the inside. At his feet was the pilot, looking as if he was thrown from the cockpit and across the chamber was still the only other passenger. Also all around the passenger compartment were panels and hanging cables while red emergency light kept the chamber lit. Charles unbuckled himself and got up to check the copilot and the other passanger for a pulse, finding none.

It was a waste, he wasn't sure how many made it and he checked his phone. It was dead, just like everone else probably was. Still there was no time to lement now, the wreck could blow at any moment.

Charles moved for the exit, hitting the switch for the door and stumbling out into the sunlight.

Re: Anirune Forest - CHAPTER 3

In the sky a spark appeared, it was small, but slowly grew. and a roar could be heard faint as the pinprick of light it followed but it too grew in strength.

Inside there was but a lone Grey Knight, but he was an army unto himself, of steely muscle and adamantine will was this astartes, for he was a Grandmaster of the Grey Knights, and an inner member of the Inquisition.
He had learned of the heresy growing here yet could not convince the Inquisition to send a full strike cruiser, so he came alone. His duty to the Emperor called him here, though he knew not the darkness that gripped the land.

As the drop pod descended he began to chant, as his altitude decreased his Volume increased.

In the name of the Immortal Emperor,
My Faith is my Shield I shall not Falter,
My Fury is my Sword, May it cleave through Heresy
Immortal Emperor, Lead us to your Glory
Lead us from Faith to Slaughter, From Battle to Bloodshed
Guide Us O' Mighty Emperor, that we may slaughter them in your Honor
FOR THE GLORY OF THE IMPERIUM!!
FOR THE HONOR OF THE EMPEROR!!
MAY THE EMPEROR SHOW MERCY ON YOUR SOUL, FOR HIS SERVANTS CANNOT!!!

One could not tell if the thunderous explosion was The Grandmaster's Litany or the impact from the Drop pod striking the ground. not that it would matter, the emperor's light Shone Brightly on Iwaku, and this would would never be the same.

Summary: The Epic Entry of The GRANDMASTA!!!!

Re: Anirune Forest - CHAPTER 3

"HOLY SHIT!"

There was a crash and an explosion not 200 meters away, almost directly ahead of him. It came out of nowhere, literally, appearing in the wake of a fierce, unnatural lightning storm that disappeared just as quickly as it had appeared. Seiji found himself staring at it after it settled in the ground, skidding to an ungraceful stop in the midst of the debris of the battlefield. It almost looked like it was a part of it all.

Hesitating for only a moment, Seiji sped across the gap between him and the crashed ship within the blink of an eye, and would have tore the door open had it not suddenly shot open, only to have a worse-for-wear fellow come stumbling out.

"Hey buddy, you alright? Anyone else in there still breathin'?"

Suddenly, a monstrous explosion shook the ground. It was nearby, but Seiji didn't see it; perhaps his view was being obscured by the downed ship, or it was somewhere else in the forest, behind him and amongst the trees.

"Ai yai yai, this day is one big day of Murphy's Law, ain't it?"

SUMMARY: Seiji leaps across the battlefield to help whoever may be inside of the crashed ship.

Re: Anirune Forest - CHAPTER 3

The Grandmaster Assaults forward from his Drop Pod, to find......nothing, an empty forest. He scans the area for a moment, before grabbing his additional supplies from the drop pod and heading for the nearest settlement on foot, pausing to scan the area's security every few hundred meters, confidant that his auto-senses could cut through anything at the Ageis would shroud him from anything beyond their considerable range he continued forward. he trusted the emperor to guide him and so headed off.

Summary, ok landed in the forest, off to fight chaos Kay Bye!

Re: Anirune Forest - CHAPTER 3

The human's arrival was neither quiet, nor subtle.

"Eio geu'la'klkn"

The words rolled off of Vay's tongue at the all too familiar sound of a drop pod. Despite their indecipherable nature the words they carried the unmistakable weight of cursing a hated enemy.

True to his kind he took to the trees looking down in the path he had been taken. Any marines coming that saw hm would wish they hadn't.

Re: Anirune Forest - CHAPTER 3

The Grand-master felt something was amiss, but couldn't quite place it, he knew this planet harmored Heresy, but hr felt a strong presence within the forest, he immediately set out looking for it, storm bolter at the ready and his Nemesis Eviscerator unsheathed.

He stops walking for a moment, breathes in deep and closes his eyes

"Emperor guide me"

He raises his storm bolter hand and begins to turn stopping about nintey degrees from where he was originally facing, opens his eyes and begins to advice with renewed fervor.
