Everyone quieted as the TV monitors flickered on, revealing Chancellor Isarah announcing why they were all there gathered in the dropship. "Prisoners of The Ark, you have been given a second chance....A chance for all of us...Haven't the slightest idea what will be waiting for you...We will follow...Your crimes will be excused in return for your sacrifice..."

Sabine was pissed. How could they do this to them? Do they realize they were probably sending them all to their death? She stood out of her seat, yelling at the TV screens. "Fuck you, this isn't fair! You're sending us down to our death to see if Earth is survivable...only for our crimes to be "forgiven." She was screaming now. "This changes nothing. We will always be viewed as criminals. You're a coward!" The TV screens turned off, Sabine mumbled to herself now.

She could feel the shift in changes as the dropship slowly disconnected from the Ark. Whistling air sounded as the pressure gauges went off and the airlocks released. There was a loud clang as the dropship shifted and came loose, sending everyone rocking in their seats. Sabine rushed to sit back down as she felt the antigravity start to set in, only to find out that her buckle was faulty. Dammit. She had to secure herself in somehow, otherwise she'd be dead by the time they hit the ground. She grabbed the straps of her buckle and tied them around her waist. The two straps didn't grip very well, so the tie was loose. She hoped it would do until the ship landed.

She could feel her body hovering slightly, as she felt the affects of weightlessness. It was an incredible feeling, really. She was always so jealous of the spacewalkers. As they neared Earth, entering its atmosphere, everything that was just floating, slammed down immediately. The ship gained in speed after gravity returned, this time with much more force. The parachutes deployed, but did very little to slow down the ship. It wasn't long before the ship reached the ground, crashing into trees before hitting the beach.

Sabine's makeshift buckle did little to save her from injury. Unfortunately, the turbulence proved to be too much for her, knocking her body around as the ship fell and hit the ground. She gained a few cuts and bruises, and managed to get knocked out in the process.[/fieldbox]

Hal held onto Sabine's hand as the dropship left the Ark, making its way to Earth. He was scared, just as everyone else. How would the people on the Ark react to this? Surely they'd be up in arms once they found out what the Council did to their loved ones. It wasn't long before the ship crash landed onto an unknown location that everyone began unbuckling themselves.

Hal turned towards Katrina. "Katrina, are you alright?" He asked as he helped her unbuckle herself. He then turned to Sabine and saw that she was passed out. He glanced down at her buckle and saw that instead of it being clipped, it was instead wrapped around her body and tied down. "God, Sabine? SABINE?!" After shaking her a few times she let out a small groan as she slowly came to. "Thank god you are okay. I'm going to go and help the others." He untied her buckle, unclipped his own, and then stood. It was a little hard for him to stand at first, his body wobbling slightly. But once he composed himself, he rushed to help the other prisoners.

"Is everyone okay?" He shouted into the air, rushing to people who were still in their seats. He went around helping people unbuckle, helping them to their feet, and tried to get to as many people as he could. It wasn't until he saw a young boy rush to the door that he stopped helping and instead ran towards the kid, swooping the kid into his arms and pulling him away.

"No!" He set the boy back down and paused. "No," he said, calmer this time. "Wait until everyone is ready. We have no idea what could be out there. Last we knew, it was uninhabitable. Who knows what the radiation has done to the planet."

As more and more people got out of their seats, the crowd hovering by the door grew. Everyone was antsy, eager to see what was out there. "Everyone stand back," he shouted as his arms wove in a back and forth motion as he guided everyone safely away from the door.

He motioned for a few people to join him as he attempted to open the door. "You," he pointed to Calixto. "Come help me get this door open. It jammed a bit on contact. And you, you, and you" he pointed again to Clarissa, Adam, and Quinn, "Stand guard. Keep the others back, and help protect in case anything happens." He nodded to the people he gathered by the door, "Ready?" In sync, Hal and Calixto rushed to the door, grabbing the edges with their hands as they pulled at the doors. Hal heaved, his muscles taut as he gave a few strong pulls. After a few tries, the two managed to pry the doors open just a crack. Hal stopped pulling and peaked through the crack. So far, the air didn't have any obvious effects on the group, as they were all exposed by now. At first, it was almost too bright for Hal to even see anything. He was so used to unnatural light, the light of the sun was almost overwhelming. After his eyes adjusted, he could see the soft glow of the beige sand and heard the sound of soft moving waters. "We're on a beach, guys."

With one last tug of the door, Calixto and Hal managed to open it all the way, revealing the outside completely. "Okay everyone, stay slow. No rushing into things. And stay alert." Hal moved out of the way, allowing for everyone to emerge from the dropship. @Dramma @Brea @Justice_20 @Akashi @slaine72[/fieldbox]

Bastianna was enjoying the warmth of the rock and the sun beating down on her all too much. She almost didn't want to leave her post when it was time. Though, she had a job to do and enjoying simple pleasures was not one of them. Just as she was about to leave her post, she saw a great metal clad beast drop from the skies. From her vantage point on the cliff, she could see the exact location the dropship landed. The ship landed just beyond the tree border, right on the beach. It wasn't far from the village, too close for comfort.

"CONSUMERS!" Her voice roared as loud as it could, echoing through the trees. She grabbed the war horn at her side and blew into it as a warning. The war horn bellowed, even louder than her voice. Everyone was sure to hear this one.

As she made her way down the cliff, the loner emerged from the treeline, making his way towards the dropship. It wasn't hard to spot him as he was making an awful lot of noise doing it. "I knew it, he's one of them!" Once she reached the ground, she made a stop by Ragah, "Ragah!" She shouted at him. "You're coming with me. We have a rat to catch," she said as she continued running, lurking through the woods as she ran.

"He has weapons so be prepared." Bastianna was convinced the little weasel was a Consumer. Why else would he sit outside the village, monitoring them if not to gain intel. Once they had the loner in their sights, Bastianna removed the bow from her back, loaded it with an arrow, and then aimed as she lined up her sights with his running body. Once she had a good shot, she let go. The arrow clipped his clothing and pinned him to a tree, preventing him from moving any further. She put the bow back onto her back and ran up to the boy. Her eyes noted the weapons in his hands and almost immediately, she whipped out her spear and used it to whack the gun and machete out of his hands. As the gun landed on the ground, it went off. "Stupid boy. Running with a gun in your hands and the safety turned off? You probably don't even know how to use one of these." She kicked the weapons away from him and then rose the spear to his throat. "Who are you? Why are you here? Are you with them?" Her voice menacing, growling through her bared teeth with each word.

After she gave the boy ample amount of time to respond, she flipped her spear around and whacked him in the head with the blunt end, knocking him unconscious. "Ragah, carry this foolish boy." She removed the arrow from his clothing and grabbed his weapons. "We're bringing him back to Esme." @Koda @Akashi[/fieldbox]

The sound of Bastianna's eerie war horn bellow startled Baldur, reminding him once again why he was the Commander's bodyguard. Just as he stepped forward, an intruder entered into the temple. Baldur hadn't realized he already stepped in front of Esme, his arm held out over her chest as if protecting her from the intruder's presence. The intruder turned out to be Rhea who confirmed that there was indeed danger nearby.

Baldur spoke on behalf of Esme, out of place which was unusual for him. "Rhea, where? What does this mean?" He looked to Esme, wondering what their next move was. "Where's Bastianna?" @Brea @Zarko Straadi[/fieldbox]

-Adam MacDonald-

Adam watched Clary's reaction to his crime, he could tell she thought he was stupid for getting caught as he did. But she didn't know why he stole the moonshine, nor would she know. Not now at least. When she said about being her next victim he smiled sarcasticly and said "I know you Clary, your no murder, it was self defence".

During the entire decent Adam laughed, the bumps and everything, it was so fun. He ignored the messag, jackass chancellor sending them down here to die. Once landed Adam unbuckled his seat belt and smirked at Clary "come on beautiful, let's go". He ran to the door and saw some kid, benji he thought, asking to open the door "well we're dead if you keep it closed anyway so open it up kid". Then some kid was heaving the door open, he walked up and helped the, open it. It was so bright, a beach. Adam laughed loudly as he ran outside and shouted at the top of his lungs "WE ARE ON THE GROUND, WOOOOO".

Benji looked as they opened it, thinking 'Whatever' to himself as he slowly peeked outside, before turning back to look at the boy. He walked up to him, "Do you need help?" Benji asked as he knew he was having trouble due to the gravity change and the recent landing leaving him shaky, but the poor guy was drugged and here. "I'm sorry I know you really don't like me I'm just I don't know I'll just leave" He said as he walked out the door and into the sand finding trees, and immediately heading to the soil rather then the beach where he picked it up and let it fall between his fingers. "Guys have you ever felt soil this rich do you know what we could grow here?" He said excitedly as he smiled throwing some soil in the air and spinning it was wonderful. He didn't want to sleep in the drop ship though he thought to himself as he started to walk away from the group into the woods, he looked behind him hoping someone might follow him. Maybe even that boy, if he wanted to beat him up at least it was some attention from him Benji thought.

After opening the door, Benji came back and attempted conversation again, but Kris just ignored the boy and stepped out of the pod. An army of tall brown soldiers in emerald green and tattered clothes, trees. A small beach sat behind the pod opening into a great expanse of sapphire water with an azure colored sky looming above. White, puffy islands floated through the cerulean abyss, clouds.

The boy started up a commotion about the rich soil. Kris knelt down and found that the soil would be absolutely perfect for crops. With a small smirk, he nodded. "I wonder if we could possibly get some seeds to grow..." Kris lowly mumbled to himself. "This dirt, it has years of compost to build up, it's so fertile. it really would be perfect for growing."

He sighed and stood before striding over to one of the trees, "I'm going to climb up and get a bird's eye of our surroundings. Chill down here until I get back." He called out to everyone, making sure they all heard. Kris reached up and grabbed the first branch, hauling himself up before beginning his scramble up the tall, single solider in the army of trees.

As the prisoners, just like her, were seated and buckled up. She could hear the mechanics of the drop ship, the air locks disengaging. They literally parted ways from the Ark. She could feel that they were floating in the empty gravity. She completely prepared herself for whatever that was to come. Even when Chancellor Isarah conveyed his message to her and the people in the very same drop ship. People who were going to meet the same fate as her. They were all expendable, and would pretty much confirm it for the people on the Ark if Earth was inhabitable or not.

The drop ship became very unbalanced as the turbulence became worse. As they reached the Earth's atmosphere, she almost felt that things started to break around the ship, on the outside. And if they would even be able to land safely. One of the girls in the drop ship was unfortunately not buckled up quite right. Due to that, she ended up being thrown around the drop ship, whereas she ended up unconscious. Quinn, however, noticed her, and it terrified her for the moment. She tightly shut her own eyes, even let out a small scream before she held her seat steadfast. Luckily, after a while, the turbulence was diminished, but it was still there.

Unfortunately for them, the parachute did little to nothing to make the descent any easier. Because of the gravity, the force was immense, and they ended up crash landing. Minutes passed. The electricity in the drop ship was either there and not there at the same time. The damage must've been severe. She wouldn't know. Quinn only assumed. Once she knew nothing was moving anymore, she slightly opened up her eyes, noticing the same girl still there, with some bruises and all, who was still unconscious. Honestly, Quinn had no idea what would happen once the door would open. "I'm okay.. I'm okay.. I think.." She glanced around. She slowly unbuckled herself.

Hal, who was seated not so far away from her, stood up and ran to the unconscious girl. Fortunately for them, she was alright. She came to, and was able to cope with the situation at hand, or atleast what their situation was at that very moment. She felt bad for herself, and once the door would open, would it be safe or would it not? A simple question lingered in her mind. Standing up, she turned around, looking at the rest of the prisoners who were in the same ship. 'What should I do?...' Quinn pondered, somewhat afraid. Once Hal started to help the rest, she felt that she had to do something. It was then he pointed at her, asking her along with a few others to stay and guard them or be prepared for anything unpredictable. "O... Okay..." Quinn almost stuttered, before she ran a bit closer to the big metal door and turned around. She was still afraid if it was really safe to venture outside.

"Uh... Should we really open the door? We dont even kno---" Quinn stopped in her tracks. Her eyes were focused on the little crack they managed to pry open. The bright light surging in made her think.. "Is.. Is that the sun?" She almost awed. Completely forgetting the danger. The signs of radiation would have affected them by now, but it didn't. She took a few steps forward. Hovering her hand before the light. It was warm, it must've been the sun.

Once the door in its entirety was finally open, the bright light from the sun came blissfully in, caressing some part of the inside. Half of her body was covered with the sunlight. It was definetely safe. She couldn't believe it. She awed at the thought of Earth being habitable again. She covered her eyes with her hand. It was too bright. She was not used to it. This was all natural. Standing just by the big metal door. She noticed another prisoner running out. Smiling, being happy, rejoicing. She stood right next to Hal and Calixto, before she gazed at the both of them. "I.. I can't believe it... We're actually fine... Earth is safe..." Quinn was almost speechless. However, she still hadn't stepped out yet.

[fieldbox= R A G A H, #786037]
Hidden behind a tree, with a bow and arrow in his hands. He was preparing himself to shoot down a deer. Even if he was to patrol the area, he used at least some of his time to hunt in order to bring food back to the camp. He was known for his hunting. His axe was strapped to his belt, moving about next to left hip. The trees in the area he was in were quite high. They blocked most of the sun. The birds were chirping soundly. Taking a few slow steps forward. He semi-crouched. His ice-blue eyes locked onto his prey. "Stay still..." A simple arrow escaped his bow, penetrating the deer's head, rendering it useless. It was not dead, it was trying to comprehend its situation. The animal was so frail.

Ragah threw the bow around his shoulder, before he approached it. Standing before it, his demeanor was quite normal. Unsheating the small blade he had, he crouched fully, bringing the deer's head closer to his tigh, so it could rest upon it. The blood from the wound the arrow created was already pouring out, slowly covering the face with red. Pulling the broken arrow out, he threw it to the side. Slowly slithing the throat of his prey. He was trying to give it a quick and painless death. It was unfortunate that the arrow didn't do the deed. Turning around, he approached the tree he was hiding behind. He had ropes there for the purpose of tying the legs of the animal, so it would be easier to carry it back to the camp. Once Ragah picked them up, he looked up at the sky, or atleast what he was able to see from his position. The many birds chirped and flew in unison, towards a direction.

He became somewhat curious, before his eyes followed the herd. He noticed something like a massive metal box soaring through the sky, towards a certain direction not so far away from the camp. Only a few minutes later, the sound of the war horn echoed throughout the area. "Is it because of that?" He referred to the metal box that was in the sky, from his point of view. He quickly placed his bow and arrow down, making his way back to the camp. Running over a few branches, whilst crouching down a few narrow paths and the likes, he stumbled upon the General. Bastianna. His left hand was already prepared to pull out the axe. Ragah eventually did, once the General told him that they had someone to catch.

The deer could wait, something more important was now the priority. "As you say." He responded, though his accent was broken, due to him not being able to speak english all too fluently. Even so, he had some idea about whom it might be, but then again, it may as well be the metal box. If it was the latter, it would be the Consumers. Though once the mention of "weapons" came into play, a smirk was plastered on his face. Following his General, they eventually ended up next to the one man who even Ragah knew about. A young boy who was always, looking at their camp, or rather observing it. They, however, deemed him unharmful, but that was only until now.

He stood a few meters behind Bastianna. His grip was tight around the hilt of the axe. He was eventually captured, and the weapons were removed from him. A few seconds later, once his General asked him the questions, he approached her, standing next to the both of them. Judging by the questions she asked, Ragah was able to deduce what this was about. His ice-blue eyes were almost peering down the boy. He got even closer, placing the cold steel, the sharpness of the axe next to his neck, touching it. He was quite threatening. "Don't lie boy.. Tell her what she wants to know.." He made sure that Bastianna wasn't the only one the boy would have to deal with.

After enough time for him to give them his response was passed, he was knocked unconscious by the General. He moved away and spun his axe before strapping it beside his hip. A sigh escaped his lips. The ropes he had, would now be used for this instead of the deer. He tied his legs and his arms, before he pulled him up and threw him over his shoulder. "Bastianna. The metal box.. In the sky.. It's the Consumers?" He rhetorically asked, but he wanted to know if she felt the same way as him. Everyone at the camp must've been preparing themselves. Now that the war horn was used. They made their way back.

Viaeny:

"Grey? Are you OK?" Before he could reply, his sister came and gave him a giant hug. They must have sedated him. More proof they don't want us dead? "Hi Zahra." Grey muttered incoherently, something about wondering what the Ground looked like. "I guess we're gonna find out,"Viaeny said. Her mind started to whirl, but she stopped it. There were more immediate concerns. "Let's get him buckled in," she said to Zahra, then started working the strap nearest her over Grey's arm and shoulder.

We're really going to Earth! Simultaneous excitement and terror. People made such a big deal about the Tree, so that it was almost a religious icon. Judging by the books and vids she'd seen about the world that was, it was more like a Bush. On Earth, there might be real trees, big ones, and birds and animals and grass! Or, it could be a place of slow, agonizing death by radiation, bioweapons, bugs and mutated beasts and disease. So what does that mean for the Revolution? Dunno yet, but it's time to get started, she thought as she finished buckling Grey in.

"Alright everyone, get buckled in!" she called out. "We're about to be subjected to acceleration and weightlessness, and since we're not flying this thing, we don't know when stuff's gonna happen. Anyone who can't find a seat, find a way to secure yourselves. People in seats, help hold them down if you can. From here on out, we're all in this together. We--"

Viaeny was cut off from making a longer speech by the Chancellor's voice. Yep. It's what I thought. The Ark is dying. The drop-ship alone represented a massive, irreplaceable resource. Under 'better' circumstances, it would have been reserved for Good Citizens, and Viaeny and her ilk left behind in their cells to die. How many drop-ships do they even have? There'd have had to be enough for the original population, right? Well...not necessarily. Back then they'd have been trying to cram as many people on the stations as they could support, probably. Rich people who could buy tickets to the stations for them and their families. The One Child Policy and death-for-every-crime would have cut population fast. After three generations there'd be what, a quarter of the original population? Less, if there were more people shoved out of airlocks than second kids getting snuck into the population. But they might have needed to scrap and salvage drop-ships to keep the Ark running, too. When the stations were built, there were Dragon VI's and Skylons to take people back and forth, so there'd have only been enough drop-ships for emergency evacuation of the crews, right? Plus any shuttles or capsules that were docked at the time? And maybe not even all those work anymore? Yeah. The Ark is totally dying. And this is somebody's desperate hair-brained scheme for a last hope at survival.

Viaeny was pulled from her thoughts by a muffled series of clanks, and the sudden feeling of vertigo. Her hair started to swish around her head like springy, curly tentacles underwater. Whoa... Before she could figure out ways to start playing with the new phenomenon, she heard seat belts unbuckling. A few kids were floating out of their seats, giggling at their own cleverness as they started to turn somersaults in the air.

"Um—guys?! You realize there's gravity on Earth, right? We could be hitting the atmosphere at any time!" She'd seen "reentry" in a few old sci-fi movies and documentaries, in which it involved a lot of shaking and rattling, and maybe a lot of dramatic tension if the ship was old or something (kinda like the one she was in). But it had to involve something a lot like slamming on the breaks, didn't it? Orbital physics lectures from science class snapped into her memory. An orbiting ship wasn't actually weightless, it was as thoroughly caught in Earth's gravity well as a rock on the ground. And like anything caught in gravity, it was falling. What kept something like the Ark up was the fact that it was also going "sideways" so fast relative to the Earth that it missed the planet and just kept falling around in a circle. And if the drop-ship was going to land, that meant it would have to reach a relative velocity of zero. Which meant: a whole lot of "slamming on the breaks," really, really hard. "Hurry! Get back in your seats and buckle up! You could die!"

It began as a hiss, then a whistle, then a roar: reentry. That's when it hit Viaeny that she was riding in a ship that was at least a hundred years old, and might even have been at the end of its service life when the War started. Because the Chancellor and the Council wouldn't have put the 'expendables' in the station's best drop-ship, would they? With every unexplained thump and tic and bang, her imagination visualized vital pieces of heat-shield tearing off and fluttering away, or coolant pipes breaking or needed rocket thrusters failing or the things that held the parachutes not opening or exploding or whatever they were supposed to do...

"OhcrapohcrapohcrapohcrapIdon'twannadieeeee!" Viaeny muttered to herself, clutching the seat belts in a white-knuckle grip. Another bang, more thumps, and she was pressed hard into her seat. Silence...a gentle swaying. Viaeny cracked open a tight-shut eye. The chutes deployed? Hopefully all of them...

Finally, another thump-and-jolt, and the ship was still. Voices rose in cheers, Viaeny's among the loudest. It wasn't long at all before the door opened. Viaeny might have been a little more worried about that, except how long could they survive in this box if the air outside was bad? "So, Grey...you ready to see what the Ground looks like?"

"Safe for now," he reminded Quinn. "Thank you for your help. I know this is a frightening situation, but you were brave back there. People will look up to that. I didn't catch your name. My name is Hal." As introductions were being made, a few people walked out of the dropship, distracting him.

Hal let out a long sigh as Adam ran straight by him. "I said slow and alert. Do these people want to get themselves killed?" Talking to no one in particular. The 100 were in foreign territory, Hal couldn't understand why people weren't being more careful. No matter how beautiful, this wasn't paradise. He couldn't entirely dismiss the man, though. His enthusiasm was indeed appreciated. Being back on Earth certainly was an exhilarating feeling, anyone would be happy to be in their position. However, Hal couldn't help but remain hesitant. It was too good to be true. If not, they would have come to the ground long ago.

The same boy that Hal pulled away from the door also went outside, but instead of sticking around like the others, he started to wander off into the woods. "Jesus Christ, hey kid!" He yelled out. "What's his name?" He asked some random person, learning that it was Benji. "Benji, hey man!" Hal stepped out of the drop ship, stepping onto the sand for the first time. He was slightly taken aback by how cushioned the sand was, it was quite the pleasant feeling.

"Kid...no...god..." Hal's attempts to pull him back in failed as Benji walked further into the woods. "No wandering off, Jesus, could someone please go and retrieve him. I have other things to tend to."

Hal ran back into the dropship to check up on Sabine, who had awoken, but was still quite out of it. She still wasn't all that coherent. "Damn, Sabine, I'm sorry you got the messed up buckle," he laughed quietly to himself. "Just your luck, huh?"

"Shut up asshole," Sabine made a choked laughter. "Make yourself useful and find someone to help me, will ya?"

"Okay, yeah. Sure thing." Hal turned and approached the hesitant crowd who still remained huddled in the dropship. "Addressing any medical station members, I have a girl who is in need of some medical care," he pointed over to Sabine. "Tend to her, please, and anyone else who sustained any injuries during the drop."

After that was taken care of, Hal addressed the rest of the group. "Please, people. Everything right now seems to be going okay. I cannot express this enough, but please proceed with extreme caution. You may leave the dropship if you feel comfortable, but please, do not wander off. Stay within the limits of the dropship, and the beach just outside. After more investigation, we can better determine if the area is safe, thus allowing for more exploration. But for now, please, stay smart. Got it?" Hal nodded to the group. "Good."

Hal returned to the entrance of the dropship, leaving it once again along with Kris. He took the time to examine what was around them. Laid out in front of him was a large expanse of water, stretching out as far as the eye could see. Crystalline blue waters lapped at the coast, and for a good long distance, the water remained as so – clear all the way to the bottom. But as the water stretched even further out, it changed into a deeper cerulean blue, making visibility even harder. Storms were sure to create a problem in this location. So they certainly were on an island in the middle of the ocean, that much was clear. How big the island was, he did not know. The beach didn't expand very far on either side of the dropship. It formed more of a half circle shape with trees bordering the edge. And beyond that...Hal was bit afraid to find out.

Looking up, he saw the skies like he hadn't seen them before. They certainly didn't look this way from The Ark. The view was brilliant, breathtaking. Hal took a moment to soak it all in, closing his eyes with his arms spread far out. He took a few slow, deep breaths. Surprisingly the air was very clean, crisp. It brought a new strength, a new energy into his body, making him feel better than ever.

He returned back to Kris, examining the soil along with him. Hal knew nothing of soil, but he trusted what Kris was saying. "That's perfect, I can trust that once things get settled, you'll get to it straight away?" Hal gave a warm smile.

Hal watched as Kris pulled himself into the trees, offering to get a better view of their surroundings. "Smart thinking. Be careful." Hal was a bit worried about how successful Kris would be at climbing the tree. They didn't have trees on the Ark, or any climbing structures for that matter, so he wondered where he picked up the skill to scale such a foreign object. "Hey, while you're at it, see if you can spot the supply box from up there." Hal knew there was supposed to be a supply box somewhere near the location of the dropship. It was quite peculiar that they hadn't found it yet.

Bastianna looked out into the woods, watching for any others as Ragah tied up the stranger and hauled him over his shoulder. "Good work, Ragah. Quickly now, we must make haste." Bastianna moved through the trees as quickly as she could, swiftly dodging branches and jumping over fallen logs. Ragah remained close behind, the weight of the stranger not slowing him down a bit.

Bastianna grew disturbed by Ragah's question. "Yes, Ragah. I believe the Consumers have returned. Why else would they send that big of a box if not for it to hold people? In due time, we will find out as I am sure Esme is forming a plan to check it out as we speak."

Bastianna was impressed by the amount of ferocity Ragah expressed towards the stranger back there, she couldn't help but smile to herself. "Ragah, soon I will need you more than ever. You are excelling in your trainings, it is showing. I am proud of the warrior you are becoming, and soon I hope that we can put that to the test." She glanced over at him as the reached the village, well aware the clan was startled by the presence of the mysterious ship and stranger over Ragah's shoulder. Without a word, Bastianna strolled through the village, eyes straight ahead with war written on her face. She slammed her spear down onto the ground, shouting and roaring as she made her way towards the temple, rallying the rest of the warriors to follow suit. Bastianna had her warriors wait outside the temple before she walked in.

"Commander. By now, I'm sure you know why I am here." She turned to face the entereance as she called Ragah in. "We captured this man, I found him heading towards the dropship. I am not aware of his involvement in this, but I couldn't take a risk. He is out at the moment, but I will let you decide what we do with him. What would you like us to do about the dropship? It is my suspicion that there are people in there."

Katrina was watching the delinquents in the back still smiling, she watched as some of the guys flew around with no gravity, but her sight was quickly distracted when she felt a plop next to her, when she turned to see who it was, she found that he was male, and very familiar.
She looked at him confused, but then sparks flew into her mind, she remembers someone that looked just like him, her only childhood friend, and best friend, Hal. She was really protective to her, every time someone would try to put her down, he was a good friend when she was younger, and she wished that she had somebody to lean to, but she would never admit that.

"Wait Hal?" She smiled, but her smile then dropped when she felt the ground underneath her lose gravity, the delinquents went flying into the walls who weren't strapped in. "Oh god!" As the dropship dropped through space, fear ran through her body, Kat gripped the arm rests as her eyes filled with fear. But then it stopped, her eyes closed and her hands still squeezed on the arm rests, when she opened her eyes the ship had stopped, she took a deep breath then exhaled. She looked over at Hal, still exhausted. "Yeah, yeah...You should help her."

After Hal unbuckled her, she gave a smile at him, she hadn't seen anyone out of the few rooms she was let out of, it was good to see a familiar face. She then walked over to the door of the dropship, a man came to her by the name of Calixto, Kat smiled. "Katrina." She shook his hand, but when she did she had a bad feeling about him, so she walked away.

Katrina rolled her eyes with a playful smile on her face when she saw Hal taking leadership again, when they were kids he would always take leadership, and as a child she would get irritated from his integrity. When they finally go the door open, she smiled. "We are back!" Katrina shouted, but then her head turned when she heard her favorite voice she hasn't heard in a year, Hayden, her brother. "Hayden!? Are you alright, Oh my god i can't believe your here!" She hugged her brother tightly with her right hand holding the back of his head. "How about we catch up later, go explore!"

Hayden David Keller

Hayden was seated and belted in when the dropship dropped out of the ark, many screamed and yelled as they dropped but Hayden stood quiet, but still terrified, his eyes didn't close, he was too scared to even move of what was happening. But once they landed, a sigh of relief ran through his lips, he was happy that he didn't die in the ship. His eyes moved over to another kid, which he recognized was imprisoned for being a second child, he was also in the same station as him. "Hey are you okay? Grey right? I'm Hayden."

Hayden turned when he saw most of the delinquents heading to the front of the dropship, trying to get out. Hayden followed and walked into Kat, she smiled at him and the two walked over to it, but then Hal came over and stopped everyone from going out, which he was happy about since it could be dangerous. When they started opening the door, a smile splashed on his face as he watched the sun hit his face, it was beautiful.

As he ran out he put his arms out and smiled as he felt real air through his thick hair, real air! When he opened his eyes he noticed two of the boys run into the woods, but so much was happening that his attention was taken by Hal, wondering if there was a doctor, well he didn't know anyone else trained, since he was trained by the best doctor on the Ark.

"Okay, yeah. Sure thing." Hal turned and approached the hesitant crowd who still remained huddled in the dropship. "Addressing any medical station members, I have a girl who is in need of some medical care, tend to her, please, and anyone else who sustained any injuries during the drop." Hayden smiled and walked over. "I know I'm young and all..But i am the most trained as i know of, i was trained by Candid."

Calixto Barnaby Quin

Calixto was gassed in his solitary confined room, he was too dangerous to get taken there, so they gassed him and strapped him to his seat. By the time he woke up the announcements by the chancellor went on, which Calixto had a hatred for, especially for letting the merchant get away with his crimes. "You are a murderer chancellor!" A lot of delinquents agreed and chanted with him, with one of the guys, Hal, told them to be quiet, already he didn't like the guy.

When the dropship fell to the ground, he immediately ran to the doors, he yelled to his fellow delinquents to follow, but at that time Hal stopped them from going outside. "Wait until everyone is ready. We have no idea what could be out there. Last we knew, it was uninhabitable. Who knows what the radiation has done to the planet." Get out of the way, or do i have to kill you to do it." Cal argued, up into his face, then backed off as Katrina pushed him back. "You don't have to fight, come on were on the ground!" Cal looked at her and smiled. "Wow, your stunning, names Calixto, most call me Cal, you?" When Katrina walked off, he smiled, i like her attitude. "Come help me get this door open. It jammed a bit on contact.' "Aye, Aye captain." Calixto said sarcastically, putting his hand at his forehead to a salute.

When the door opened, Cal purposely shoved Hal into the wall, he and the other group of delinquents ran out after he had pushed him and they chuckled from laughter. Got it?" Cal rolled his head left and right. "Hey, Hal correct? You should back off, let us have fun and lighten up,were on Earth!, besides, your not the boss of me."

Esme:

"You are like a spider yourself, Esme," Baldur said. "Our Mother, and we your brood. Shall I start calling you Little Spider from now on?"

Esme smiled up at him. He was a kind man, a handsome man, and he stood always ready to defend her against any threat that came her way. She couldn't help but feel a certain warmth in his presence, an affection for him she didn't know if she'd ever get to express. "You can, if you like. But I don't know that the other Warriors would enjoy being likened to baby spiders." Now if I can just weave an inescapable web to trap the Cons--

Approaching footsteps. Esme rose, but Baldur interposed himself, holding out a hand to keep her back. The sound of Bastianna's war horn made the hair on the back of her neck stand up. To Esme's relief, and likely Baldur's as well, it was Rhea.

"Another," Rhea said, breathing heavily. "The Consumers... they've dropped another contraption. This one is huge!" She reached up, pushing her damp hair from her face as she looked over to her great leader. "What does this mean, Esme? Are we in danger of the Consumers?"

What does this mean?" He looked to Esme, wondering what their next move was. "Where's Bastianna?

"It means war," Esme said solemnly. She stepped over to the rack where her longsword and baldric hung, and shouldered into it, so the sword hung at her side. She was no expert in its use, but from this moment until the conflict was over, she felt her Warriors would need to see her wearing it. She loosened the sword in its scabbard. "Come. We must gather the people."

A second to steel herself and put on her best regal and indomitable persona, then Esme strode toward the door of the Temple. Before she could reach it, Bastianna burst in, with her thoroughly intimidating War Face on and eyes flashing.

"Commander. By now, I'm sure you know why I am here." She turned to face the entrance as she called Ragah in. "We captured this man, I found him heading towards the dropship. I am not aware of his involvement in this, but I couldn't take a risk. He is out at the moment, but I will let you decide what we do with him. What would you like us to do about the dropship? It is my suspicion that there are people in there."

"I think you are right. I would like you to lead a scouting party, to observe them without being seen. We must know how many they are, and how they are armed. Avoid confronting them if you can. I am concerned that they may have guns, if not other weapons from the time of the Great Dying. They will not have the honor to challenge you as Warriors. Instead, they will kill you from a safe distance with machines if they can. You are too valuable to me, to the Clan, to the whole world, to allow that to happen," she said, meeting Bastianna's eyes, then Ragah's.

"As for that man, have him thoroughly searched, then bind and gag him. I do not want him hurt, but he must not be allowed to warn the Consumers, if that was his intent. I would like to study his weapon and any ammunition he might have for it, to try and determine its age and origin. Then, if we determine him to be an enemy, whichever of you subdued him will have victor's right.

"Could you advise me, General? I held us back from opening the first of the things they dropped, because I was concerned that it might contain explosives or poison gases, or machines, robots, for killing; a trap. Now that they have sent their people after it, I think it might be supplies, that they might not know we are here.

"If that is so, it could be advantageous to open the first package and take their supplies. Deny them any succor on our land. But that would tell them we are here. As a leader of Warriors, do you think the advantage of denying them supplies, or continued secrecy is the stronger advantage?" Esme was leaning toward seizing the supplies, but she felt she would be a poor Commander if she did not listen to her more-experienced Warriors.

Sly sat obediently in his seat. He couldn't understand why people were making a big commotion out of all of this. It didn't matter how hard they fought or complained, if they had a say in whatever was going on then they would still be groaning in their cells. He just assumed that they would never be pleased and like to complain. Frankly, all the commotion was just giving him a headache. He decided to just close his eyes and listen to what is going on. This will reduce how much attention he has to pay to the unsettling crowd. Throughout out this he hears a message being announced from the screen, several individual conversations, and surprisingly his heartbeat.

Sly didn't know why, but he became quite nervous at the whole situation. Not because of the chance that he might die upon breathing the supposed radioactive consumed earth. Death is going to reach everyone sooner or later, there's no chance of escaping. It could be because he had gotten used to his style of living in the Ark. Even though a huge percentage may have despised it, he thought it was an easy way to live with minimal responsibility. And now having to take on a big task of going to Earth, plus being surrounded by people that could potentially cause trouble while on this task was too overwhelming.

No matter the situation, he understood that in order to survive this he had to go with a much familiar tactic. Just like when he first was sent to prison. His tactic was to gather a group of reasonable people in order to make a plan on how we will survive. That is if they don't instantaneously die. But before he knew it the dropship had already landed. He must have been very well into his thoughts in order to not feel the change in his surroundings. Although, he did notice his hands tightly gripped to the arm rests. Sadly, even more commotion spurred as the ship landed. There were people trying to ruin out, people trying to force caution, and others just plain out of it.

Sly decided to mingle on with the crowd of undecided after he un buckled and got out of his chair. Then he stood patiently waiting to go outside once the doors were opened. The brightness from the outside was indeed bright and it really bothered with Sly's eyes. He also felt warm temperature as the doors were opened. Bright lights...warm weather... oh boy... Sly was not fond of that combination, but he had to deal with it. He realized that it was all worth it after he reached the outside. The view was amazing and the warmth was more welcoming than he thought. All he could do was was stand, shocked at what he saw.

Rio managed to utter a few sounds, but his voice was gravelly and incomprehensible. He couldn't remember the last time he'd make any communicative noise. He struggled, and put up a fight, but after he was knocked out, his body went limp.

Slowly, Rio blinked back blurry vision, and he realised he was being carried. His face contorted with anger and disbelief, before he swung his whole body wildly and crashed to the ground, dust flying. "What you doing!?" He yelled, wriggling against his bonds. He remembered the questions from earlier. "Who is 'they'!? Let! Me! GO!" He shouted, after each word flexing his muscles and straining against his bonds. He managed to kick his captive in the knee, causing him to fall on top of Rio in a heap.

Clarissa Riley Scott

Almost as soon as Clarissa was able to unbuckle her seat belt Adam was urging her to go with him outside of the ship. Although her better judgement told her she should proceed with caution, especially with how many criminals she was currently surrounded by, Clary's excitement became almost too much to bear and she found herself running after him.

She and Adam were one of the first to reach the doors, where some guy was already taking charge. She heard a few people grumble behind her, quickly learning that his name was Hal. She studied him for a moment as he tried to instruct people to hold back: He was handsome, there was no denying that. And there was a certain confidence about him that made Clary want to trust him, even though she knew nothing about him other than his name.

Suddenly, Hal was pointing a finger at her, telling her to hold people back. Her brown eyes widened. Does he not know who I am? She swallowed hard, and began to protest, but he and a guy named Calixto got to work before she could even get a sentence out. Heaving a sigh, Clarissa turned to the group, trying to remember everything she had been taught as a child. She was from the Peacekeeper Station, after all.

"Alright, back up, make some room," She started ordering, putting her hands in the air to make herself seem bigger. This was one of the first things she was taught to do, because she had always been short for her age, and to her surprise it actually worked. People seemed to notice her, taking at least half a step back.

She almost smile at this.

Once she was sure no one was going to try and cause a disturbance, Clary looked over her shoulder at Calixto, then to Hal. Despite telling herself that it was foolish, she couldn't help but notice their muscles move as they worked to open the door. Slowly, rays of light shone through the crack, blinding her momentarily. By the time she was able to blink back her vision several people around her were buzzing with excitement, as if they can't wait to get out of the aircraft.

Hal: "We're on a beach guys."

Now Clary was smiling. She had seen photo's of the beach in old books, and she could hardly wait to see if all she had seen was false. She hoped not, because all the pictures she had ever seen made it look breathtaking.

People began to run past her, and Clary decided there was no use in trying to fight them. If the radiation was going to kill them they'd start to feel it by now, she was sure, and besides: Why hold them back from their new home? Just as she turned to exit herself she saw Calixto shove Hal into the wall, and she instantly decided, I don't like him.

Her gaze shifted past the two, and to the world that waited outside the dropship. Trees stretched much higher than she thought possible, the sun played off the sand in a way more beautiful than she could have ever dreamed, and in the background there was a rhythmic sound of crashing, which she would soon discover was the waves meeting the shore.

Carelessly, Clary started to trudge forward, eager to feel the sand beneath her. But before she was able to step off the ship, she bumped into someone with an, "Oof," and the two went tumbling out of the dropship and into the sand. Once Clary was able to process her mistake, she turned to see who she had just knocked over: Quinn. She was one of the people who helped hold off the crowd.

"I am so sorry," Clary began to apologize, scooting away subconsciously. She didn't know it yet, but Clary was going to make a habit of distancing herself from other people so that she would not harm them too. She didn't want to be a murderer anymore, not when she'd been given a second chance like this. "I wasn't watching where I was going, I guess."

She might have said more, had Hal not addressed the group. He first asked for a medic, and then told everyone to try and be safe. Already she could tell he was going to try and appoint himself as leader, but she wasn't sure yet if she liked the idea or not. Once he was finished, Clary returned her gaze to Quinn, standing up and brushing herself off.

"I'm, uh, Clary, by the way," she introduced herself, figuring she might start to get to know everyone's names.

Rhea

It was no surprise that Baldur instantly took a protective position in front of their Great Leader, and started asking questions. "It landed where the boxes did last time, on the beach," She answered, her voice stronger now that she had caught her breath. "And I imagine Bastianna will be here momentarily, I saw her and her troops going to their lookouts not too long ago."

Esme: "It means war."

This simple statement cause several emotions to flare up inside of Rhea, and she wasn't sure if the more dominate one was worry for her people, or excitement to finally put all her years of training to good use. Before Rhea has a chance to respond to this, Bastianna returned with Ragah in tow. An eyebrow was raised at the prisoner they had captured, and Rhea instinctively got into a defensive stance.

Once Esme finished asking her General for guidance, Rhea decided to speak up before their discussion got too long and off track. "I'll interrogate the captive," she offered, eyeing Rio carefully. Rhea wasn't exactly keen on having outsiders brought into the Temple of Knowledge, and her reason for this became very apparent moments later.

Rio began to thrash around, yelling what seemed like nonsense to Rhea. Instantly she was on the move, heading for the basket she kept her special silk thread and resin sword. It perhaps wasn't her best weapon, but it was her closest, and she'd be damned if she couldn't kill the stranger with it.

By the time Rhea had her weapon in hand Rio had kicked Ragah in the knee, causing Ragah to drop him. Seeing one of her own being caused harm initiated Rhea's usual protective response, and within moments she was upon Rio. She swiftly reached out and grabbed him by the hair, ruthlessly thrusting him upward to his feet. Then, she held the edge of her sword to his throat, a handful of his hair still gripped tightly in her small hands. "Don't. Move." She whispered in his ear, a warning.

~Kristopher Dark~

The climb was difficult. Kris had never climbed something like this, so he had to be careful and take his time as he hauled himself from branch to branch. "I'll work on the crops once we have formidable homes. Just keep an eye on everyone, there's probably more than one person panicking inside at the moment" Kris called to Hal. He tested each limb before pulling himself up on it or placing his weight. It took a while, but he made it up, gasping for breath and resting a bit before turning his attention back to the task at hand.

He took a good look around and realized that there were supply pods landed not too far down the beach from the main pod. Kris nodded to himself and continued looking around. Not too far off in the forest was what seemed to be a large clearing in the trees which could be anything, but the message that was transmitted to the pod on the way down said there was a military base. The teen frowned and began to let himself down. Taking care once again. Once at the bottom, he flopped onto the ground and made his way back to the brown haired man who had asked for the supply boxes.

"Not to far down the beach are several supply pods that were sent down. They seem like they've been sitting there for a small bit, a few days maybe, but they're there. Also, that there's a clearing deeper in the woods. It could be nothing, but the broadcast on the way down said that there was a military base nearby... It might be there, I couldn't tell, I wasn't on the highest tree, so some other trees blocked my view."

It was much better than the Ark. Judging by how the air and or the radiation didn't take an affect on their body only made her feel much more safer. However, ignorance is a bliss. But if its in this case, only time would tell. A smile was plastered on her face once Hal spoke. Gazing at him, he was quite the attractive guy, now that she really paid him some attention. "It's nice to meet you Hal.. My name is Quinn. And its fine.. I just wanted to be helpful in someway." Though before anything else happened, Hal was interrupted by some of the others in the drop ship, causing him to pay attention to something else.

She glanced around, noticing how he seemed to be taking the role as a leader amongst their group. However, it was all new to them, so anything could happen. People were just frankly happy that they didn't have to "sacrifice" themselves for the Ark. It reminded her about the Chancellor Isarah's message. The fact that they all would get a clean slate. She was still not sure if all of this was just a dream. It felt too good to be true. Her hand was around her wrist, reminding her about the metal bracelet. Looking at it, she was still wondering exactly as to why it was needed, but she had an inkling.

Quinn was almost startled when she heard a small bang against the wall. One of the guys who had helped pry open the big metal door had pushed Hal against the wall. She could clearly see the hostility in Calixto's eyes. What was he thinking? Now was not the time to argue about something like that. "Hey.. Could you stop?" Quinn reached out, almost about to break him off of Hal. Though things didn't go exactly as planned.

It almost felt like someone pushed her out, but before she knew it, she was already outside the drop ship. And lying above the sand. Quinn's back was against the one who "crashed" into her. "What in th---" She whispered to herself, wondering what just happened. She turned around, with her hands touching the surface. The sand in between her fingers. The soft feeling of the ground. The water beside the beach. The breeze, the sun, it was almost overwhelming, now that she had really stepped out into the world.

Quinn noticed someone else beside her, who was probably the one who stumbled upon her, having them both fall out from the drop ship. "It's okay.. I was not paying attention either.." She made an apologetic expression. If anything, it wasn't entirely Clarissa's fault.

"I'm Quinn..." She introduced herself. Her hand was made into a fist. The sand was inside it. She gazed at the sky and then back at her. Slowly opening up her fist, letting the sand fall down so beautifully. "Can you believe it?.. I never thought the day would come if anyone would ever get the opportunity to come back to Earth..."

Most of the prisoners were already outside the drop ship. She didn't stand up. She just wanted to sit there, despite the circumstances that lead to it. She moved the bangs of her hair behind her ears. The view was just mesmerizing.

The boy was still unconscious. They knew the forest in and out, and it wouldn't take them long until they actually reached the camp. As they made their way to their destination, his General agreed to the fact that it had something to do with the Consumers. Ragah's expression was quite normal, even after hearing it from her. He was able compose himself and be concentrated on the objectives before them. "So they have finally descended from the sky..." He rhetorically stated.

Jumping over a few broken lodges, a few narrow paths, they got closer to the camp. "I will be by your side Bastianna. We will deal with the Consumers thoroughly if it ever comes to that. This boy will also give us the neccessary information." After a couple of minutes, they reached their people, their camp. Once they ventured inside, many of the warriors, the people were looking at them curiously. They were somewhat confused, the tension was higher than ever before. The war horn was to be blamed for that, but it was again, neccessary.

Ragah gazed at some of the warriors on both his and Bastianna's side as they walked towards the Temple of Knowledge, towards their Commander. They were probably wondering who the boy over his shoulder was, and why the war horn was used. Once they reached the Temple of Knowledge, he stood before the entrance. His demeanor was calm, but you could feel the threatening aura in his ice blue eyes. It did not take long before he was asked to come in with the boy they had captured. He noticed Baldur and Rhea there as well. "Baldur. Rhea." He greeted the both of them, before he moved his attention towards the Commander.

"This is the boy..." He nodded towards the unconscious body. That, however, did not last for long. The boy had awoken. He was in a panicked state. Confused as he wiggled his body around, squirming and used every muscle in his body to get out of the situation at hand. Ragah almost smiled at the fact, before he was able to get loose, followed by the boy falling on the floor, and kicking him in the knee. Honestly, that was not what he expected. The determination to escape could be seen in the boy's eyes. It was still, not fruitful for him. "You are awake.. boy.." He stated, almost in a condscending way.

He moved his attention towards Bastianna and the rest. "So, what should we do about this feisty little boy.." He almost grinned, as if he wanted to skin him alive. Though that was just how threatening he sounded. It did not take long before Rhea, the successor to the Commander grabbed her sword and pretty much put the captive at his place.

The suggestion by Rhea was probably the wisest, though it was probably on everyones mind. Especially the ones inside the Temple of Knowledge. He agreed with her, before he made a suggestion himself. "I will scout the Consumers. See where they have landed, and how many they are. And what weapons they have."

"And Commander, if I'm allowed." He respectfully spoke up. A moment passed before he gave her a simple advice regarding the supplies of the Consumers. "The supplies were placed there for a reason. So the Consumers would eventually fetch them once they've made it to the ground. Now they have. So we should guard the supplies, wait for them to arrive, so we can either kill or capture them alive. That is upto you. It sounds like a bait, but they do not know that." It was just something Ragah felt would be more suitable for them. Let the Consumers comes to them, rather than them going after the people who descended from the sky.

Adam couldn't believe it, they were on the ground. He had already took his shoes of and hung them around his neck by there laces. He loved the feeling of the sand between his toes, he couldn't stop laughing. He started to walked back to the drop ship, nothing Clary talking to a very pretty girl, he walked up to them and said "hey Clary who is this beautiful young lady?".

Before she could answer though Adam saw some douche bag pinning Hal up against the wall. He walked away from the girls and tackled the jackass to the ground "he's not the boss no, but he is trying to keep all of us alive, including you. But I guess since you only have one brain cell you wouldn't realise that".

River Swiftpaw

River was away from his tribe, hunting for some rare herbs about 2 clicks from their main camp. When he saw a trail of smoke in the sky. His dark eyes follow it only to see a large metal vessel flying through the air at a breakneck pace. Frowning he quickly climbs the nearest tree with ease, he was often called half-monkey for his climbing prowess. Once he was near the top he looked out to see the large object make a crash landing not far off in the distance. By his knowledge of the terrain it would landed on the beach to the east. 'Are those...Consumers?' He thought, debating what to do next. He really should return to camp and report his sighting. Not that the tribe hadnt seen the same thing most likely. But it was the rational thing to do, its what his survival instincts beckoned him to do.

Unfortunately his curiosity overrode those. Climbing back down to the ground Riv lands with a thud on his barefeet. He didnt like wearing shoes or furs, it hindered his movement. Instead of going to camp he headed the opposite way, to the crash sight. He was dressed in earthy colors, dark browns and greens, so he blended in with the terrain quite well. It only took him about 15 minutes to reach the edge of the forest lining the beach. He didnt want to get too close incase of any potential enemies. So instead he picked a tall tree and climbed to the top, but not enough to expose himself to prying eyes. Once up he peers out over the beach. It was as he thought, people from the sky, Consumers. They all looked like kids though, or at least teenagers. 'Just what is going on?' His brow furrowed as he brooded over what to do next. 'Do I stay and scout them out, or return?....'

Hal rolled his arm around, rotating and stretching it as if to soothe the ache in his muscles. God, what's wrong with that guy. Hal was no stranger to pain, but that shove bore him a weighty injury.

The shouts from above distracted him from the pain. "Oh great! We will be needing those supply boxes straight away, I'm glad you were able to spot them." When Kris mentioned a clearing, it worried Hal. Yeah, there was a military base in the area, but the base was underground. Any clearing would have been overgrown by now, filled in after years and years of regrowth. "We'll have to check out the clearing sometime in the days to come." Hal watched as Kris crawled back down the tree, impressed he was able to work through the struggle. "Why don't you come with me and retrieve the boxes, yeah?"

Commotion escalated from back at the dropship, the voices grew louder as they gathered outside the doors. Hal turned to see two bodies shuffling around and being thrown against the sand. One of them was Calixto, the man who had shoved Hal. "Oh shit, Scratch that. Think you could grab a few others and grab the boxes? I need to go break this up. Thanks a lot for your help," Hal nodded before he turned around and ran towards the dropship.

The sand swallowed every step he made, slowing his stride. It certainly was a surface he'd have to get used to moving on. Once he reached the quarrel, he grabbed and pulled Adam off Calixto. "Hey hey hey hey!" His voice rose as he stepped in between the two guys. His hands reached out towards their chests, keeping them from each other. "Thank you for backing me up, I appreciate it. But please refrain from resorting to violence. It will not solve our problems here," he nodded to Adam hoping that the two would come to an agreement and he would calm down. Hal let down his arms before composing himself, standing up straight and turning back around to face Calixto.

"Listen man, I don't know what beef you have with me, and frankly I don't care. But Katrina is right. You don't have to fight. Like Chancellor Isarah said, this is our chance to start over. For you to start over. There's no reason to be a douchebag, we will not shove people we don't like or intimidate with death threats. You don't have to be the person you were on the Ark, the person everyone expects you to be. Yes, you are right. I am not the boss of you. You're what...an 18 year old man? I don't need to babysit you. And if you want to act like the child you're being, there will be consequences to it. But believe me when I say this, these people will need a leader, whether I fill that position or not. We are here to survive, that's what we were sent here for and that's what I intend on doing, for all of us. You get in the way of that, I will make sure to put you down."

Hal bent down and grabbed the shoes buried in the sand, brushing them off before handing them off to Adam. "Here, you dropped these."

Sabine tapped the bracelet a few times, understanding that it should have done something by now. "Something is wrong. These were programmed to work and operate as soon as they left the Ark." She made a mental note to look into it once she recovered from her injuries.

It wasn't long before someone came over to help her out, though that someone turned out to be a very young boy. What was she to expect, the dropship was full of underagers. "Trained by Candid were you? Boy, am I in good hands." She smiled. "You're lucky to have been trained by someone as brilliant as him." She sat up out of her seat, allowing for Hayden to get a better look at her. "I've had a headache since landing. My ribs are bruised, probably from being thrown around with a loose belt. And I have a few," she rose the sleeves of her shirt, "cuts on my arms. Nothing too major. I may need a few stitches. Thanks for coming to help. My name is Sabine."

Bastianna nodded to her commander, accepting the order to scout out the dropship. "I will remain thorough and unseen, your commander. I will be careful with my warriors. We will not incite a war until you give the say so."

She looked to the stranger as Esme addressed what was to be done with him. "And I assume we will be releasing him if turns out to be innocent?"

Innocent or not, at the sight of the stranger's struggle, Bastianna spun her bladed spear around as she took a defensive stance. The man put up a fight as he squirmed out of Ragah's arms and fell to the ground. His shouts seemed to put everyone on guard and it wasn't until he kicked Ragah in the knee that caused everyone to stir. Rhea was the first to respond, grabbing her weapon and pointing it at the man's throat, threatening him not to move.

Bastianna inched forward. "How dare you strike my warriors," she hissed. "Do it again, and it will be your death." He was clearly outnumbered. If he was smart, any struggle from here on out was surely not going to happen. Once things settled down, Bastianna lowered her spear and walked over to her commander. "I agree with Ragah. We should leave the packages alone, for it would be suspicious if they suddenly disappeared as I am sure they have already been found. And though we could use the supplies as bait, I would suggest that we do not take any action in capturing the Consumers. We know nothing about them, we do not know their numbers or what they are capable of. If they appear to be a threat after we scout them out, then yes, we can do as Ragah suggested. But for now, our first course of action will be the scouting mission."

War. The words Baldur hoped to never hear in his lifetime, though always learned to prepare himself for. He stood patiently as Esme fetched her weapons, strapping them onto her sides. He admired how she wanted to look strong for her people, as if gearing herself up would somehow encourage them. Though, it did concern him that she was not very skilled in the use of her sword, unable to rely on herself for protection. All the more reason Baldur had to ensure her safety.

Baldur walked alongside her as she strode towards the temple entrance. The two didn't get very far, however, as Bastianna showed up.

"A captor? And you decide to bring him here? Now he knows where we are. What if this man is innocent, surely now he will be our enemy after what you did," he spat at Bastianna, fearful that this would but Esme in danger. However, once his commander spoke up about the formations of their next moves, he refrained from talking.

It wasn't long before Bastianna called for Ragah to bring the boy in and for some time, a discussion occurred as to the fate of the boy. Rhea offered to interrogate him, which didn't surprise him. She was driven to get answers.

Baldur's eyes never left the captive as the warriors were discussing with their commander. Any inch of movement and he'd see it. Before anyone else had reacted or even noticed the boy was coming to, Baldur saw his eyes start to twitch. His nostrils flared as his voice grew deep and hostile. "Esme, stand back." His large hands grabbed a hold of her tiny waist as he swiped her away, removing her from her spot and setting her back down behind him. He watched as the man struggled on the ground, kicking and flailing at Ragah before taken back under control by Rhea and Bastianna. Baldur seemed to relax a bit, stepping off to the side to allow Esme to come forward.[/fieldbox]

Rio's eyes went blank. The woman's face looked just like his mother's. His eyes suddenly cleared and he realised he had a weapon at his throat. "Who are those people? Why you take me? Why you tie me up?" He suddenly asked, his eye's burning with curiosity, anger and fear. His voice remained gravelly and throaty, and he stuttered constantly between words. He suddenly broke into sobs. "I want mama..." He stuttered quietly. Rio was very emotionally young when it came to stressful situations. His face cleared, and he looked up at Rhea expectantly.

He had head the boom from over head as the metal object had broken the sound barrier, it passed directly over him as he sat in the tree, the height giving him an advantage he saw exactly where it landed. Curiousity got the better of him as he jumped down from the tree using the branches as landing points. He sprinted off towards the could of dust that was coming from the crash site. What was it? Would be what was going through his head if he spoke english or thought properly. Leaping over rock and tree, skipping from stone to stone across small rivers he made it. Well a lookout point atleast. Thankful for the speed he had, he crouched down in the thick grass as not to be seen by he metal thingy.

Viaeny:

Grey seemed pretty out of it, as he didn't reply to Viaeny or the other cute guy who had come up to talk to him before running outside. And speaking of "outside," he didn't have any response to that, either.

"We're safe for now Grey. Why don't you just sleep for awhile until you feel better, OK?" She figured it could be dangerous for him to go out there in his current state. Who knew if there were poison cactuses or wells of bubbly acid-water he could stumble into, or cliffs he could fall off of? "I'll come back to check on you in a bit, OK?" she said, then bent over to kiss him on the forehead, almost as if she was tucking him into bed. A stifled giggle, a blush, and a glance toward Zahra. "I'll come right back and tell you what it's like!" she said to both of them, then hurried for the exit with a backward glance at Grey.

Her feet hit sand, and she stared at the world around her with jaw-dropped awe. It felt strange, like a kind of vertigo, to look around and up and see no walls! No ceiling! Sure, outer space was infinite for all practical intents and purposes, but as far as living space for humans went, it was cramped. Here though, land and sea and sky just went on and on and on! She could take off running in any direction without running into anyone or anything! Well, there were the trees, but she could dodge around those.

Of course she did know better than to actually do that. There could be tigers for all she knew. There was commotion all around her. Kids cheering, twirling around with arms outspread, some giving into the temptation to run off, somebody raving about the soil. A couple of the older guys got into a shoving match, earning an eye-roll from Viaeny. I guess they gotta do the Alpha Ape thing. Whatever. At least the one talking sounds sensible.

As a genuine, certified Revolutionary, Viaeny would care about politics--later. Right now, the world was just. too. gorgeous.
