Keeping a watch on the sun, he tried to keep moving, not wanting to be caught out after dark.
 
Patting Tyen reassuringly whenever they passed someone, feeling worried himself, he made sure to keep most of his face covered so no one could possibly recognize him.
 
Kieara did the same. Also she did it to keep warm, and she tried to keep Robynne hid.
 
"Doing okay up there?" he asked her occasionally, smiling softly.
 
"Good," he answered, before reverting his gaze back to the road.

A few days had passed and Stijn and his family were making good time, when a blizzard blew over the town they were staying in, forcing them to stay in the inn until the storm passed.
 
Crawling next to her on the bed, he kissed her softly, saying, "I'm sort of glad that the storm's here. At least it means no one will be able to follow us..."
 
"Yes and we can rest for awhile." She said as she cuddled into him.
 
Placing his arms around her, he kisses her again, grinning.
 
After pulling away, he asked, "Is Robynne still doing okay? She's not sick?" Kissing his daughter's forehead, he smiled down at her sleeping form.
 
"Not yet she's not." Kieara smiled. "i've tried to keep her bundled.
 
After he pulled away, he pushed himself off the couch, moving to his bag to take out dinner for the two of them.
 
Kieara watched as he did their little baby resting silently.
