Alvie felt as Dante wrapped his arms around her tightly. The tears that had collected in her eyes finally fell, dripping from her chin before she returned the hug. She pressed her head against his shoulder and listened as he spoke to her, feeling the vibration as he spoke. She felt so calm, and she was so happy that he didn't react negatively toward her. The more tears that fell down her face, the more she felt her body shake as sobs silently rocked her body. Instead, she tightened the hug and attempted taking deep breaths to calm down. "Thank you..." she said softly. Afterward, she just sat there, her head against his shoulder, enjoying the peaceful sensation and the feeling of safe serenity during that moment. It was almost magical.

Dante smiled back, not letting go of her as she seemed to be at peace, he kept his eyes closed, not really wanting this moment to end yet, instead, he hugged her a bit tighter as he stood there, starting to lose track of how much time was passing around them. Then, after a while, he was brought back to reality by one of the kittens batting at his leg with it's paws, it was that calico one, opening his eyes and reluctantly pulling away slowly from Alvie, just in time too as his mom was calling them down for dinner. He looked towards Alvie and quickly petted the Calico kitten before smiling a little "Er... We better head down to dinner I guess... We'll figure out something to do about out situation at school soon... Ok?" he said, giving her an encouraging smile.

Alvie smiled down at the calico kitten and giggled when she saw it batting at Dante's leg. Then, she heard his mom call them down for dinner and smiled even more, realizing how hungry she was. She listened to Dante as he encouraged her and smiled back at him, even laughing a bit. "Okay, sounds like a plan!" she said in her usual optimistic tone. Alvie started heading out of the room but made sure to wait for Dante before descending the stairs. When she reached the dining room, she sat in her usual chair and waited patiently, smiling down at the table. Her mood was by far better than it was before...

Dante followed after her with a smile, glad things had turned out alright, he gave the calico kitten a reassuring pat on the head before he headed out the door after Alvie, following her to the dining room and sitting down next to her this time. His mother was already there, smiling brightly, and it seemed his father was too, both of them looked rather cheerfull right now and already were busy conversing with each other, smiling a little, he started to eat, seeing that his parents had already started doing just that.

Alvie slowly took the fork into her hand and began to eat, listening to Dante's parents converse among themselves. She found the whole scene rather peaceful, like she should have grown up like this...but, she shook her head and smiled, continuing to eat. Once she was finished, she stood up and gathered most of the empty dishes around the table, thanking Dante's mom for the food, and headed to the sink to do the dishes. Once she reached the sink, Alvie started to hum softly while she scrubbed the plates, starting to think of things her and Dante could do before they had to head for bed.

Dante was eating a bit slower this time around as he was a bit lost in thought, here though, he felt more at ease than he was at school since they weren't at such big of a risk of being bothered by anyone, much less Anonio, though soon enough, he had finished eating. Standing up just about the same time when Alvie did, he carried his own set of dishes towards the sink, following behind Alvie as he did this, and upon reaching the sink beside hers, he turned on the faucet and started washing his dishes as well, he smiled, turning towards her. "You think we could try dancing again?" He asked a bit sheepishly.

Alvie finished the dishes and turned to Dante, smiling at his suggestion. "Of course! I would love to!" she said, eyes lighting up as she imagined dancing with him again. The last time they had danced, they had fun and danced until they literally dropped to the floor. Alvie laughed a bit and dried her hands before turning to Dante, waiting until he was finished before gripping his hand and gently tugging him up the stairs. "So, are you going to try and dance longer this time? I know I'll give it a shot." she said, turning to look over her shoulder for a second before turning to look back ahead of her and stopping at the top of the staircase. She waited for him before heading into his room.

Dante blushed a little, but smiled as he felt Alvie grab his hand, letting her pull him upstairs, when she asked him if he was going to dance longer this time, he nodded "I'll try me best." he said smiling, a bit as he followed her into his room. Looking towards the radio on his desk, he tilted his head a little, wondering if that channel was still playing the same music, then, he looked towards the playing kittens, wondering if they would try and dance too, he laughed a little at the thought of it. However, soon enough, he decided to walk towards the radio, reaching a hand over as he prepared to turn it on, with any luck, a commercial wouldn't be playing when he did this.

Alvie watched as Dante reached over to turn on the radio. Soon, she heard the music start filling the room, and was thankful that there weren't any commercials this time. Slowly, she started to feel the rhythm of the music and started to dance, laughing a bit as she danced around the kittens, not wanting to step on any of them. As she started getting into it, Alvie started to sing along in a not-so-serious singing voice. Then, she turned to Dante and raised an eyebrow at him before wiggling her arms around shaking around like a weirdo. Acting like that, it came almost natural to her when she was around Dante. Almost like she knew him all her life.

As soon as Dante heard the music, he smiled a little, starting to sing along with it when he heard Alvie doing this, not being able to hold himself back, starting to laugh when he heard Alvie singing like that, deciding to "spice up" his singing a bit, he deliberately timed the tone of his voice to make for a rather comedic "performance" when he sang. He started dancing in almost perfect synchronization with Alvie, deciding to overexaggerate, his motions as he felt like wanting to do, trying his best not to laugh too hard that he'd fall over. Around her, he didn't feel very awkward when he did such things, something he'd never really been able to escape around anyone else, except maybe his parents, this brought a genuine smile to his face.

Alvie started giggling at Dante's singing and dancing performance, finding herself dancing in sync with him. As she continued dancing, she looked over at him and lifted her eyebrows, starting to make her way over to him. Then, she felt as the song started to fade and she took in large gulps of air, placing her hands on her knees as she smiled, still laughing a bit. All of a sudden, a thought popped into her head: 'I wonder if a slow song will play tonight...' The thought made Alvie blush, but she didn't think of it as a bad idea. She just silently wondered if they would dance with each other if that happened as a few ads started to play.

Dante seemed to react posotively to Alvie approaching him like that, in fact, he himself was inching closer to her as well as the song started to fade, there would only be a brief transition moment before the next song started... On the inside, he sort of hoped it would be a slow song as he had enjoyed the last one they had danced to a few days ago, it brought a small smile to his face when he reminisced upon that particular memory. As luck would have it, that's exactly what happened after a moment; a slow song played, and taking that as his cue, he shyly offered out a hand to Alvie "U-Uh... Would you mind dancing together?" he asked, a bit nervously, blushing a bit.

Alvie felt her heart thump as a slow song came on, sending a blush across her face. Then, turning to Dante, she saw as he held a hand out to her, offering to dance with her. She blushed even more and smiled a bit, placing her hand in his and stepping even closer to him. "O-Of course I wouldn't." she said, hearing her heartbeat in her ears as well in her chest. She looked up at him and felt so nervous...but why? Why would she be nervous about dancing with the person she loved? Then, reality struck her...it was because she loved him that she was nervous about dancing with him. Alvie slowly inched closer and placed both arms around his neck and pressed her head against his chest. She could feel her face burning as well as her ears, but felt relieved nonetheless.

This made Dante smile, he suddenly felt like everything around him sort of went silent except for the music, he practically locked up for a bit out of nervousness until Alvie placed both of her arms around his neck, pressing her head against his chest. Despite feeling himself blushing a deep shade of red, he smiled, forcing himself to move at first, but slowly, as he started to pay extra attention to the music he heard, he started to adapt to the rhythm, letting himself flow with the music, trying his best to keep his movements synchronized with Alvies. His nervousness slowly disappeared, and thankfully, he didn't do anything foolish when that happened, just danced like this for a while, lost in the moment, it seemed like it would last forever...

As she felt Dante start moving gently, Alvie did so as well, keeping in time with the beat of the music. Not that it mattered, she only wanted to dance with him. It was so surreal to her...like in a princess story. The thought sent a smile blossoming across Alvie's face. She slowly lifted her head and raised her amber gaze to Dante's, tilting her head a bit as her smile grew soft. She felt so...safe and warm in his embrace. Then, slowly, she dropped her head back onto his chest, closing her eyes to the gentle swaying. Alvie felt like she didn't need to say anything in that moment. It was perfect how it was...but she would speak if Dante had started to talk, of course. In her mind, she started counting off the days to Valentine's day, her heart beating in her chest at the thought.

The moment seemed to go on and on forever, the smile never leaving Dante's face, the song's lyrics were lost to him now as he was mostly listening for the rhythm, finding the correct beats to make a move, each motion came naturally to him as he relied on his instincts to make them now. Closing his eyes, it almost felt as if he was made for this, seconds becoming minutes, minutes becoming hours, but regretfully, the song ended eventually as a commercial break occurred. Slowly, not really wanting to, he pulled away from her, smiling lightly "We should be doing this more often." he said, smiling at her in a content manner, even if he was a bit shy about it, there was still traces of a blush on his face, even if it wasn't as obvious as it was when they started.

"Y-Yeah, we should..." Alvie said softly, gently pulling away from Dante as the commercial advertised popular objects and such. 'I really don't like commercials...' she thought to herself as she looked up at him, noting the content smile on his face. It sent a darker blush to her's and she tried her best to match his smile. Even though the song was over, Alvie felt like she was still in the story, when the Prince and Princess have finished their dance together, not knowing about each other and instantly falling for each other. But, she stopped there. For all Alvie knew, her love could have been one-sided. She didn't let the thought affect her mood, though, so she giggled and felt her smile widen to it's normal size, closing her eyes as she did so.

Dante looked a bit embarassed, but, he didn't seem to want to let go, it didn't take long for him to get used this this and stayed there with her, not moving for a whle, instead, he closed his eyes as well as he tried to think, right now, he felt rather joyfull. Perhaps it wasn't just the dance, in general, it was spending time with her, even before he realized it, he'd always been developing feelings for her deep down, each time he saw her and wanted to help her, each time he protected her when that fatefull day finally came where he broke free. A question remained though; did she feel the same feelings back? Sure they were close friends by now, but, one couldn't help but worry if they're just close friends, and that the other won't return the same feelings for them, Dante tried not to hink about that too much though, deciding to stay right there instead for the time being, enjoying the moment while it lasted.

Alvie sighed a bit as she continued swaying gently with Dante, the sound of his heartbeat against her ear rhythmic and calming. Her ginger hair laid gently across her forehead as she raised her head to lock gazes with him. She didn't feel like she needed to speak as they continued to dance together, as strange as it was. She just felt...so safe and close to him. It was hard for Alvie to explain, even to herself. but she felt absolutely sure that the feelings she felt for him were true. Then, a sudden thought popped into her mind. "Hey, Dante? How long is it until Valentine's day?" she asked softly and quietly, closing her eyes as she leaned her head against his chest once more.

Dante thought about it for a moment before he spoke, hsi voice as quiet as always "I think it's next Monday..." he said, smiling a little upon realizing how close they were now, for a moment, he was lost in thought. Though soon enough, he snapped back to reality, but, didn't want to let go of Alvie as they continued dancing, the song was a long one, and he was glad for that; he really wanted this moment to last as long as possible. Feeling her leaning against his chest like that allowed him to relax, as nervous as he might be of making the wrong move at the wrong time when it came to dancing, that nervousness was gone the moment this happened.
