Izumi glanced at the stranger...her body was reacting to this kid...well she shouldn't call him a kid really, whoever he was, the guy looked not to much younger than herself. Then again she'd been alive for twenty six years or so now. However the other sekirei was the first one to notice what was happening. Her pale skin twisted in a panic as she grabbed her ashikabi. Izumi growled as she noticed she needed to do something about it but couldn't. "Hey Tsubara! She's reacting to that guy! Kiss me now!" the sekirei said as the man next to Izumi she supposed could only wonder what was going on. She herself was wondered what the hell was going too happen next as the other two embraced and kissed deeply.

Brandon watched in disbelief as these weirdo's started making out with each other. What the hell kind of situation was this...what the actual fuck had he just wondered into!? Brandon could only watch confused and then baffled as the girl started glowing a beautifully colorful redish orange as the girl next to him grabbed him with surprising firmness and forced him to look at her, "What the hell is going on!?" Brandon exclaimed as the girl looked up at him...was she....was she getting off on this or something because her face was blushing as she looked at him. Whatever the hell she was she looked extremely irritated about whatever...this situation. Brandon looked down at her and back at the other two over there. Exactly what in the blue blooded hells was going on?! "There's no time to explain what is going on right now...I'll tell you later though I promise that. But for now...I understand this sounds extremely strange...but I need you to kiss me..." the girl said as if reading his thoughts. She turned her head side ways and glared at the other two. Brandon grunted and wondered what exactly he had just gotten himself up to but he simply chuckled instead, "Fine I guess this counts as something I have no choice about anyway besides...you're not half bad looking. I'm just messing with you jeez don't look at me like that." Brandon said as the girl glared at him angrily but moved up and kissed him anyways as the two embraced he felt the girl's body suddenly twitch and he through his eyes he felt a strangely vibrant grey appear around the girl. When he opened his eyes she was swirled with energy and had big grey wings behind her back made from said energy as he was suddenly pushed back behind her, "Not bad kiss there boy. But now let me take care of this." she commented as she held her sword up in the air and pointed it out towards the enemy. "[BCOLOR=#000000]By the swift death of my pact, My ashikabi's enemies will be broken[/BCOLOR]!" the girl exclaimed as the other one pulled out her sash and twisted it around her arm, "[BCOLOR=#ff6600]By the swift burning passion of my pledge, my ashikabi's fears will be forced away[/BCOLOR]!" the other girl shouted back as flames engulfed her arm and sash.

The fight was not going well for Captain Kagemura.

The lancer had advanced first with a probing thrust and the captain had sidestepped, grabbing the shaft with both hands intending to disarm her. But the woman's grip was like steel and inhumanly strong. The lancer simply smirked in amusement as she released one hand from her weapon to spin on a heel and plant her other foot into his stomach. Kagemura doubled over as the force of the blow blasted the wind out of his lungs.

No way they're human, he thought with a gasp, rolling to the side as the swordswoman slashed at him lazily, almost playfully. That kick was just a glancing blow, but it felt like getting hit by a truck!

"Not bad reflexes...for a human," the swordswoman congratulated. Then her eyes became deadly daggers. "But at the end of the day, you're only human." She charged with a thrust of her rapier, her speed suddenly increasing. There was no playing this time. This was a blow meant to kill.

---

"Damn!" Sora swore, watching the fight unfold. "Rei, you can help me or get out of my way - but I need to get down there!"

---

Kagemura managed to just barely avoid being impaled on the slender blade. Instead, the deadly thrust was a deep gash along his left arm. He bit his lip through the pain and punched the 'Sekirei' across the jaw as her side was open.

"Huh, not bad," the swordswoman said, backing up and testing her jaw. "You've got guts, human."

The lancer smiled ferally. "Let's see how they look on the ground."

Before the two women could move, a third form dropped from above, landing in a crouch. Golden hair peeked out from over a balaclava wrapped around an angular face. A machete was in hand. The other hand retrieved the fallen second machete planted in the concrete.

"That's quite enough of that," the newcomer said. He glanced at Kagemura, then at the other girl - Sayo - and then back to the two vicious attackers.

"Finally, some real competition," the lancer commented. "Ready for round two, Steel Sekirei? I'm Number 79, Yora."

The swordswoman took an aggressive stance. "Number 67, Shira."

"To hell with that," Sora spat out, refusing to divulge his name or number. "You're just a pair of mad dogs. And you got to be put down."

Kagemura watched the unfolding dialogue apprehensively, but also critically, his sharp eyes missing no details. These...Sekirei...are stronger and faster than a human. They seem to ritualize combat, except for this new one, this Steel Sekirei. Seems he's got a protective streak. And it also seems he's fought these two before. I'm no match for those two, not in hand to hand. But does this Steel Sekirei know...?

Aloud, he whispered behind the Steel Sekirei, "The lancer's stance is too narrow, leaves her left side exposed during thrusts. The swordswoman's leading foot is a few centimeters further ahead than optimal."

The blonde warrior's head perked up in surprise and he spared Kagemura an astonished glance. This one is pretty sharp. I didn't even notice that until now, he thought. Then he turned his attention to Numbers 67 and 79. All right, I can work with that. I just need to wait for them to make the first move.

A dramatic wind blew through the battlefield.

Round two was about to start.

#48-Sayo
Sayo was ordered to stay behind the man, and she did exactly that. She doesn't really have the power to take on the sekirei who were in front of them, so she had no choice but to stay back. She watched the man fight, but not accomplish anything.

Someone fell from the sky mid-battle. It was Sora, number 108. Sayo saw him around previously, but she never talked to him. Sayo sort of regrets it. He seems like someone who would've listened if he is helping her now.

Talking occurred between Sora and the other two sekirei, Yora and Shira. Sayo doesn't remember those two as well as she did the others, but it was fine with her. When the talking stopped there was a moment of silence until an arrow made of fire descended from the sky.

Sayo was scared off and hid behind a near by building. She was crouched down and hugged her knees. "What was that? What was it? It was an arrow made of fire, but that scared me. It came out of nowhere. It was like a god shot it. Should I go back out there? Then again, I'm already hiding..." Sayo continued to ramble to herself behind the building as she was scared.

#27-Rei
Rei sat on top of the building watching what occurred below. The human was able to stay on his feet, but he wasn't dominating the sekirei before him. If anything, he wouldn't be able to last for the next 5 minutes. The lancer and the swordsman would eventually overpower him.

Rei remembers the two on the ground. Number 67, Shira, and number 79, Yora. Yora and Shira both didn't have a problem accepting her advances, well after a while. Shira took a while to get use to Rei. Rei won her over without fail though, unlike Sora who still laughs her off.

Rei looked at Sora from the corner of her eye. He looked so tense and looked like he was about to burst. After a while, he finally did burst. "Damn! Rei, you can help me or get out of my way - but I need to get down there!" Sora jumped down from the building and landed on the ground.

"I'll help, but there is no need for me to get down there." Rei spoke to herself as she got up from her sitting position and stood on top of the building. She then created a bow of fire in her left hand, and an arrow of fire in her right. She attached the arrow to the bow and started to aim, waiting for the right moment to strike.

Sora, Yora, and Shira were talking for a while until their conversation came to a stand still. It was silent for a while, like they were waiting for their opponent to make the first move. Luckily for them, neither of them would have too. Rei aimed the arrow made of fire at Shira, and released. It hit Shira, but it didn't make too big of an impact, mostly because she wasen't winged.

Rei waved at the people who looked towards her. "I missed you, Yora and Shira. Let's have a reunion party, shall we?" Rei yelled with a smile. She then shifted her focus to Sora. "Didn't think I would let myself be left out, Golden Fox?" Sayo was in her field of view. She didn't say anything to the cowering girl, as she moved back to the battle.

As the two sekirei squared off staring at each other furiously as if waiting for the other to make a move. "I am number sixty one. Azami is my name and I am the Burning Sekirei! I challenge you to a battle!" the girl called out to Izumi who laughed at the girl much to the girl's annoyance asking her what was so funny, "This isn't a battle it's going to be a blood bath. But fair enough I am Izumi and my number isn't worthy of being known by a low classed bitch like yourself." Izumi said with amusement. All Brandon Hunter could do was wonder what the hell was happening. A lesser man would have cringed away from the girl and or ran away but he wasn't about to abandon her. Whatever this was he was now apart of it like it or not. He may or may not have gotten in over his head but he wasn't planning on letting that get to him just yet. He did however cover his face from the oddly dull but luminescent glow of the girl in front of him. "Who are you?" Brandon asked in awe as the girl merely grinned at him and looked like she was amused by the question, "As I said my name Izumi and I'm your sekirei now. For good or ill we are now companions in this game." Izumi stated as suddenly the enemy girl unleashed a massive energy slash. Even from a distance Brandon felt the heat radiate from the slash. She then charged at Izumi who knocked Brandon out of the way of the incoming blow and simply dodged it by rolling to the side. Izumi breathed in calmy and then proceed forward charging at the girl. She could only block the blow Izumi swung at her with her sash parrying it, just barely moving out of the way of the next as Izumi's speed clearly surpassed that of the enemy girl. "Damn it! She's really fast!" the girl growled. Granted she already knew that but she had increased in speed since being winged. "Don't you dare treat me like a child you bitch!" Screamed Azami as Izumi blocked a flaming punch by Izumi by using her blade. Izumi proceeded to brutally kick Azami's gut making her force out a pained grunt.

Izumi pushed her back and attempted to slash her across the sashless arm of Azami forcing her back but dodging slas attack Izumi used, only to leave herself open as Izumi kicked her forcefully shin and forced her to fall on her back. "I won't lose to you!" Azami managed to say in pain as she unleashed her special attack. It was a last ditch effort normally but this was getting ugly really quick. The sash turned into a super heated whip of sorts and went straight for Izumi. "Really? Is that all you have!?" Izumi said with an almost feral like menacing look on her face as she quickly moved out of the way of the attacking sash whip attack that had lashed out at her from the enemy's arm. "You're DONE! Pick a god and pray!"" Izumi said as she brought her blade up...and stabbed down into the girl through the upper chest. It was a quick movement and the sound was absolutely disgusting. It sounded like a stick was being broken, most likely the blade went through a rib, and the wet noise of the blade piercing organs and tissue. It didn't help that there was no sound from the actual blade itself. The girl didn't even shout out in pain all she did was croak up blood in a horrifying display to her ashikabi whom could only look on as his sekirei crumbled back onto the ground with a thud. Izumi reached around and placed her hand on the girl's back and sighed but it was not pity that was in her voice but annoyance or was it apathy towards the girl? Regardless of what Izumi's thoughts were or how her emotions showed them it was the words she spoke out that made Brandon's blood run cold. "I warned you this would happen. But you kept going...and you tried to take me out. But as soon as I kissed that boy and made him my ashikabi... It all went down hill for you. You picked the wrong enemy." Izumi told the girl as she twisted her blade making the girl growl in pain. But the thing Brandon noticed was that Izumi was expressionless and cold. She wasn't smiling nor was she upset...she just was....well indifferent. "...Now that I have someone I need to protect. It may be sudden but that boy is now my reason for living." Izumi said to the girl as she pulled out her blade and then kicked her over to her back. Izumi then proceeded to place her foot firmly on the back of the girl and cut open the girl's orange shirt...and she placed the back of her blade on Azami's neck...directly on the odd tattoo that she had.

"Didn't think I would let myself be left out, Golden Fox?"

"Decided to drop in, then, Rei?" Sora asked rhetorically, eyes never leaving Shira or Yora. The two enemy Sekirei suddenly found themselves fighting two-on-two against respectable fighters. That did little to deter their bloodlust, however.

"The more the merrier!" Yora cackled, coming in with a thrust of her naginata. Sora watched her profile suddenly narrow from improper footwork and, capitalizing on Kagemura's earlier advice, side-stepped to the lancer's left side. The exposed area was completely open to his downward slash, but the nimble lancer hinged-stepped away, just narrowly avoiding the strike. However, now she was on the defensive and Sora was far from merciful in allowing her any leeway. He pressed the attack, hammering at the defending twists of her spear. A downward right, an up-swinging left, turn into a right hinge-step into a left downward diagonal cut, into a left thrust.

The lancer parried each, but being on her heels left her balance tenable. Finally, she was pushed hard enough that her left foot was too close to her right - and Sora saw the opening. He disengaged his blades, spun on his heel, and planted a spinning sidekick into Yora's abdomen. With her precarious footwork offering no stable ground, the lancer went tumbling into a nearby waste bin.

Behind him, Sora could hear the continued sounds of conflict. Shira had engaged Rei.

Shin was constantly reading the news these past days, the government seemed shaken. A unknown figure or and organization had been taking the city for them self, he need to step into contact with that person, the business in Japan must not cease working, it is of utmost importance in doing so... if they cease the global economy will be thrown into chaos. He thought about several things as he rode in his car, the chauffeur remained silent as they drove on the street "Sir... I can see something in the distance, it does not look very friendly. Perhaps we would like to take another route?" said the chauffeur, Shin looked up at the commotion in the distance and that peaked his interest "Drive towards it I need to see what is going on." he said as he looked at him then focused his attention towards the area.

As they arrived he immediately stepped out, he wore black Oakley combat boots and a pair of gray cargo pants, a leather unzipped jacket with white strips one the right side of it, under it a gray hoodie and on his hands a pair of Oakley tactical gloves. He looked at the scene the unfolded before his eyes and turned to his driver "Get out of here." he said and the driver simply nodded not protesting at all. He knew that here was no use in arguing with his employer as he wasn't the one to listen, a fight unfolded before his very eyes as he stood almost in the middle of it. A swordsman and a girl with red hair attracted his attention... they were fighting, it seemed as they were on a higher floor than the others as they fought.

Kagemura stayed protectively in front of the girl, now identified as Sayo, while watching the redhead and the golden-haired young man engage the swordswoman and the lancer. He passively assessed their abilities as the fight escalated. Raw power and speed, all well beyond normal human capabilities. Sparks flew as weapons clashed. A wolfish grin cut across his face when he saw the golden-haired youth, identified as Sora, act upon his earlier advice. An exploitation of the lancer's improper footwork and a powerful kick sent the feral lancer into a waste bin.

The redhead and the swordswoman seemed evenly matched, but then Sora darted to engage, separating the fight by stepping between them. Sora went for a swift combination - high, low, then double-thrust low - with his machetes, forcing the swordswoman back.

"We've got you outnumbered, Shira," Sora declared. "Yora's down. Why don't you two retreat? No sense in needless termination."

"Che," Shira cursed, backing toward the downed Yora and hefting her up. "Round one goes to you two. We'll have to do this again sometime." With that, the two Sekirei leaped away.

Sora sighed and sheathed his weapons. "I'd best be going, too." He nodded to Kagemura. "Thanks for the advice there. You're sharper than most humans. Sayo, Rei - be seeing you." He ran down the street and cut into an alley.

"Wait!" Kagemura called out, sparing a glance to ensure that the redhead and the young girl, Sayo, were all right. Seeing that they were, he pursued the golden-haired youth down the alley.

He knew those two. He has to know more about what's going on!

For Suichi, the day had been just like any other. He went to the casino. He won some. He lost some. Mostly he won. He went to the bar to have enough drinks to get him buzzed. When the buzz faded away, he called up his sister to check in on her. Now he was on his way back home, smoking a cigarette. This was the definition of a successful day for him. Today, he had decided to take the scenic route home through the park. Not a whole lot seemed to be going on here. Only a few people were enjoying the scenery and the few others simply were using the park as a shortcut from what Suichi could tell.

Someone caught his eye though: a redhead, she was staring at some ducks with a hungry expression. He walked closer to her to investigate when he heard, "Mmm, I'm going to catch one of you and cook you and eat you up."

Suichi sighed. Surely there were better ways to get a meal. "If you're hungry, why don't you get food an easier way?" He felt pretty sure that this was something illegal anyways, not that illegal mattered overly much to him.

When she heard his voice she jolted upright and mechanically turned to face him. Her expression clearly yelled out 'busted'. Her eyes quickly turned to puppy eyes. "Y-you're not going to get me into trouble... are you?"

Suichi shook his head once and shrugged. "You're not going to get me into trouble, are you?" He shot back with a grin.

She blinked once and then looked Suichi up and down. Suichi could tell she was trying to size him up; what for he had no idea. He continued. "Look, I'll get you some food, OK?" She looked to be about the same age as his sister, and thinking about his sister made him want to help this girl out.

Hearing this she tackle hugged him with the hugest smile. "Thankyouthankyou! You're the best!" She became very animated now that she was going to be fed. Suichi had a hard time holding back his laughter, but he was pretty sure by the end of this encounter he'd be on the floor. He had never met someone nearly as emotional as this girl. He ended up taking her to a ramen stand not far from the park.

Suichi looked at the girl as they ate. She was definitely quite pretty. "I'm Habane Suichiro, but you can call me Suichi. What's your name?"

She stopped eating a short while to smile brightly. "Nice to meet you, Suichi! I'm Kitsune or Sekirei Number 77. You can call me whatever you want."

Suichi felt a bit curious, but he didn't show it. Kitsune was quite the odd name. Did she have a family name? Was Kitsune her family name? Her given name? Sekirei Number 77? What the hell was a Sekirei? He figured he might as well ask. "Uh, Seki-what?"

She turned physically in her seat to face him. Her expression said that she had come to an important decision. "Oh, right and I chose you to be my Ashikabi." She glanced over her shoulder quickly, as she had noticed coming towards them was a winged Sekirei that had been chasing her for a while now. Kitsune knew that her pursuer's goal was to capture her for her Ashikabi, but now that she had come to a decision she had to act quickly.

Suichi started, "Ashi-" but his question was cut off by her suddenly kissing him. His eyes were open the entire time as pink and yellow wings spread open behind her. One question ran through his head, 'Just what have I gotten myself into?' He had not noticed the other Sekirei that was approaching them yet. Kitsune pushed away from him slowly while blushing with a light smile on. She hadn't expected to chose someone so quickly, but something felt right about Suichi for her.

She closed her eyes while she stated her Norito. "By the joy of my Pledge, My Ashikabi's worries shall be whisked away." She stood up and glanced towards the incoming Sekirei. This fight would not be a fun one considering this one was a kicking type. "I promise to explain this later, but right now we have a fight on our hands."

Suichi stood up more confused than ever. He placed the payment for the meal with a fair tip on the counter before he started to follow after Kitsune. "Uh... OK." A fight? Well, if he had to he guessed. Suddenly he realized he was following five Kitsunes and stopped in his tracks. She looked over her shoulder at him and winked. "I got this."

The other Sekirei stopped at about fifty paces away and put a hand on her hip. "I see you got winged. I guess we'll have to beat you up to take you out of the game then. I'd rather not have to deal with your annoying power."

One of the Kitsune looked around. "I don't see your Ashikabi anywhere, where is he? You won't win without him, Number 78."

Suichi noticed that there was an extra trash can by the wall of the cafe the ramen store was next to. When did that get there? Number 78 hissed. "Winged or not, you can't fight me." With that she quickly closed the distance and did a flying kick, right through the Kitsune that had just glanced around. Immediately as she passed through all of the Kitsunes started to make frantic gestures and run around while squawking. This visibly frustrated 78 who charged right into the middle of them to do an area attack kick that struck through all of them. The turned into a mutlicolored cloud around her and the extra trash can became another Kitsune who jumped into the cloud and placed hand on the Sekirei symbol to remove it.

There was an audible. "NO!" As a guy ran down the alley into the cloud. Suichi simply watched as the cloud dissipated and Kitsune stood triumphantly over 78 who was now being hugged by the guy. Kitsune dodged around them and ran up to Suichi with stars in her eyes. "I did good, right?"

Suichi nodded, but wasn't sure what to say. This was a lot to take in, even for a guy like him. Suichi felt a bit sorry for the guy, although he wasn't sure what was going on still. "Is this a battle royale or something?"

Deciding it was prudent to just go home, Suichi turned around and began walking to his place. Kitsune followed right next to him. "You could say that."

Suichi looked towards the sky with a grin. "Well I got forcibly signed up, but I'll do what I can to win this." After all, this whole mess would probably turn into a good challenge.

Rei seemed to be evenly matched with Shira. Due to the swordswoman being in such close range, she had no choice but to use the bow itself as a weapon instead using the arrows. Soon the Golden Fox came in and helped settle the battle. Afterwards, he and the human ran off leaving Sayo and Rei by themselves.

Rei jumped down from the building when they left. Then, she walked over to Sayo who was just standing there. "Wow. You had your chance. How do you expect to get winged when you run away? No wonder no one liked you." Rei spoke to Sayo. "No! Some people liked me! Like.... like... like..." Sayo started to rebate, but only trailed off due to not having a good enough person to mention. "Some people just did okay!" Sayo yelled at Rei before running off into the alley as well.

Rei watched Sayo run off into the alley. "Man, that might've been the first time she didn't ramble on." With that said, Rei turned away, only to find a beautiful face, not too far away. Rei walked over to the man who seemed to be looking at the previous location of their fight. She then slid into his view. "Hello, My Dear. I am interested to see what I am looking at, is looking at." Rei spoke. She started to feel a bit nervous, but she just waved it off.

Shin surprised at this girl looked at her, it was the same one he spotted on he higher floors previously... he was confused to who she was and what she was doing here. Besides he could of swore he never saw her climb down the building, he looked at her a bit confused at this moment "Hello..." he said not knowing how to approach her in this peculiar situation "...The name's Shin... Shin Haruto." he said extending his gloved hand towards her. As he looked around he could see that the tense atmosphere had settled down slightly but still a peculiar feeling surrounded him, he just couldn't identify what it was. He returned his gaze towards her as he remained with a greeting hand towards her.

"Hello...The name's Shin... Shin Haruto. " Shin said. Rei was pleased to get a response for once, instead of the person running away. Rei took a hold of his hand that was stretched out towards her. Feeling a bit confident about this one, she used his hand to pull herself towards him so her lips were next to his ear and one hand was on his shoulder while the other was still attached to his hand. "My name is Rei, My Dear." She whispered into his ear.

Rei started to feel warmer within herself to the point where it was more than a petty feeling. She knew what that meant, unlike clueless Sayo, so she decided to make a bold move. "You want a...kiss?" Rei asked in a whisper into his ear. She took a few steps backwards devilishly smiling. Rei was shameless, and what she just did proves it.

Shin was surprised at the boldness of the woman, first he was odd people fighting in the most obscene way he had ever scene and now this. A woman he did not know that was completely either trying to seduce him or had an ace up her sleeve, he looked her in the eyes as she pulled her self close to him. He could feel her body pressing on his as she leaned in and whispered in his ear, he listened carefully neither flinching or moving away. He would say nice to meet you but at this point and with her so close to him, it didn't come to mind... but what surprised him the most was her suggestion "You want a... kiss?" she said as she moved backwards with a devilish smile.

Was she playing a game with him or was she merely this type of an girl. A smirk widened on his lips as he walked a step forward towards her and placed his gloved hand on her cheek "Why not, this day can't get weirder anyway." he said out loud as he looked her in her eyes.

Rei stayed calm when Shin moved towards her and placed his hand on her cheek. "Why not, this day can't get weirder anyway." He spoke before Rei went in for the kiss. As Rei kissed him, the golden wings came out of back signifying that she was now officially winged.

Rei pulled away from the kiss after a few seconds, and looked him in the eyes. "Your day is about to get weirder since the string of fate has tied us, My Dear." Rei started. "I am under your care now. Have any questions?" Rei grinned because she now has a place to stay instead of hopping around, and her arrows can actually do some damage instead of a lousy burn mark. Not only that, she managed to use her charms to get a man to become her Ashikabi. That's an amazing accomplishment in her book.

"By the swift death of my pact, My ashikabi's enemies will be broken." Izumi said simply as there was a faint glow around the girl and suddenly nothing...it was if a light had gone out in the world from Brandon's perspective. Too Izumi however...it was just another part of her life. "...Farewell Sekirei of the Flaming Sash." Izumi said calmly and it held some other emotion as well, not exactly kindness nor was it pity it was sadness and remorse. Brandon watched on from behind and looked at the other man. The man was shaking....and Brandon knew immediately what had happened. Whatever Izumi had done...this was the end of the line for the girl. Izumi picked up the girl laid the girl down on a nearby tree ignoring the ashikabi's pleas to stop. What Izumi's actions more shocking was the fact that she did it more calmly then Brandon thought was humanly possible. It was almost as if she was just moving a bag of glass. Careful with it but not exactly gently either. She had stopped glowing completely by the time she was propped up against a tree. Likewise Izumi's light was also starting to fade, and she stood there and looked at the Ashikabi and then nodded at him before walking away. Izumi looked up at a nearby building and frowned but when Brandon looked no one was there. The man rushed over to the woman and Izumi backed off wiping the blood on the nearby tree. The man wailed at the loss of the woman and shouted at her to get up. "I suppose I should stay to confirm my victory here....but I think 'The King' already knows." Izumi stated bluntly as she walked over to Brandon. "That was cold...I mean really cold. But it's not like she gave you a choice or at least that's what it looked like from my perspective. I won't hold this against you whatever happened, happened and beyond that...well I got nothing. But yeah I think we should go that guy doesn't want us here I'm sure...you are coming with me right? I assume whatever you are that you're going to be a friend to me from now on? Or at least that's what you said to her. Judging by how he's reacting is something that intimately involves us now correct? Brandon said looking at Izumi to the other girl and he felt disgust well up inside of his body. Not at Izumi in particular but for whatever nightmare he had blindly stumbled into suddenly. Whatever he'd make the best of it even if 'his sekirei' was pretty god damn brutal. But he couldn't fault Izumi from the body language she had no more love for doing that than the man over there did. "You'd be correct my little man. What happens next is going to be hard to deal with but together we will get through it or at least I have faith that we can. I'll explain it later but suffice to say you are an Ashikabi now. You've awakened something inside of me and vice versa. We're bonded more or less a bond that is not broken lightly. I will defend you to my last breath sir. And judging by the fact that you're not shouting at me and you haven't ran away yet I see that I at least picked a good ashikabi. Someone who understands that things aren't always in our hands. So what's your name?" Izumi replied and then asked of him as she sheathed her blade and walked away with Brandon. Brandon told her his name and the two decided that it would be best to listen to what this whole thing is about. "Brandon. Brandon Hunter is my name and let's go back to my place we'll be ok there...at least until the cops come." Brandon said calmly as he took one last look at the pair before walking away as Izumi walked beside him back towards Brandon's apartment. She had one last thing to say to the ashikabi though, "I'm sorry it had to come to this. Take solace in the fact that she no longer needs to worry about anything anymore." Izumi stated to the man not looking at him. It'd probably be the last time she'd ever see him and she hoped those words at least gave away some measure of peace to the man. She doubted it though peace was not made by words but by actions.

Shin was dazed by her kiss... He could have sworn that he saw golden wings behind her back. What he thought was a simple kiss turned into a commitment to someone, but strangely he had no negative or bad feelings about it, on the contrary he quite felt more attached to her now... Like a lingering feeling deep inside of him that bonded the two together more than anything else could. As he looked at her he couldn't feel nothing but happy, the red haired girl stood in-front of him with a devilish seductive smile to her... Even the things she had said felt weird and out of the ordinary, they felt only natural to him at the moment, he nodded silently, and then walked up to her again, placing his gloved hand on her cheek again he smiled, he brushed her cheek with his thumb as he continued to happily look at her, but then he went in for another kiss... This one a bit more seductive and emotional than the other, as he pulled away his lips from hers he held her in his arms now "Yeah, that's quite alright with me." He said in a moment of bliss as he took her hands into his.

As Suichi walked along with Kitsune they spoke. He rather liked talking with someone like her as it felt refreshing to have a conversation with someone that wore their heart on their sleeve. "You know, that was pretty impressive that illusion stuff you did. Y'know and tricking that other girl. What'd you call her... 78?" He felt weird referring to someone as a number. He pulled another cigarette from the pack in his pocket and lit up. "From what I saw earlier, you didn't seem like one to be able to pull something like that off."

Kitsune pouted a bit. "That's a great way to ruin a girl's confidence. Of course I can pull off a trick like that. It's what I do. I'm the Tricky Sekirei after all." While she started out pouting, she changed rather quickly to proud.

Suichi flicked his cigarette before popping it back into his mouth. "Right. So tell me. What's all this about Sekirei and Ashi-what?" The whole thing still puzzled him. He had gathered that it was some sort of battle royale, but other than that he had no idea what was going on or why.

Kitsune giggled. "Ashikabi. That's what you are." She ran a finger up Suichi's arm playfully. "Well, that kiss was a bond that tied our string of fate together."

Suichi winced slightly. "Geh, that sounds like marriage. I've never been the type to settle down easy."

Kitsune laughed at his response. "I like that. I'm kind of the wandering type myself. Soooooo... You're right about there being a big fight and all. Sekirei all over the city will chose their Ashikabi and then when that's all done the fight begins in serious. Ashikabi are special people that can bring out their Sekirei's full potential."

Suichi still had a hard time swallowing this as it seemed like something from a fantasy novel. Even seeing Kitsune's power for himself it was still a bit unbelievable. "So, your power is to create illusions."

Kitsune nodded proudly. Suichi couldn't help but smile at her. "Well that works just fine." It was at this point they had arrived at Suichi's apartment.

When Kagemura reached the alley, he was annoyed but hardly surprised to find it empty. The golden-haired teen with the machetes had vanished.

Great, back to square one, he thought in frustration. Questions whirled in his head. Who were these Sekirei? What were they? How did they fit into the increasing violence in the city?

His musings were interrupted when he felt another presence in the alley. He spun, falling into a fighting stance on instinct after so recent a scuffle, and paused when he saw the slim girl from the park - Sayo. She looked surprised at his reaction.

He sighed, relaxing his body into normality. He was here to keep the peace, not scare little girls. "Those people were after you," he commented. "You're name is Sayo, correct? I am Kagemura Gosuke, of the JDSF. Don't be afraid." He smiled thinly. On his craggy features, what should have been reassuring took a more wolfish, predatory aspect. His subordinates in the military had called him the "Wolf of Tokyo" for several reasons - his countenance being only one of them.

Nevertheless, he extended a hand. "Are you all right?"

Sayo-#48
Sayo ran down the alley without any clues to what was down there. Either way, she continued to run so she could catch up to man from before that she was reacting to.

When she finally caught up to him, he was a bit relaxed. "Those people were after you. You're name is Sayo, correct? I am Kagemura Gosuke, of the JDSF. Don't be afraid." Kagemura spoke. Sayo looked at him with eyes of determination. She had to get this guy to be her ashikabi, they might now be anyone else there.

Sayo remained silent has her extended his hand. "Are you all right?" He asked. Sayo continued to look at him with the same eyes for a while, before she finally opened her mouth to speak. "Yes. I am perfectly fine. Thanks for asking. Now that you asked me something I have to ask you something. Only fair, right?" She said "Do... do..... do.... do you think I'm likable?"

Rei-#27
Rei smiled as she twirled herself out of Shin's arms. He might be more seductive than her, which is fine as long as he didn't flirt with other women, but a matter that cannot be ignored must be addressed. It wouldn't be great if another sekirei attacked her and her ashikabi and he was clueless of what was going on. That would cause her and her Dear more trouble than need be.

"My Dear, there are some things that need to be mentioned that will come up later, but before that. I'm going to need to crash at your place because I literally have nowhere to go, and I am in your care now. If we can go there now, I can mention some things that may disturb your life as it is now, so it's best you know."

Shin smiled at her, chuckling slightly as she twirled out of his arms he continued to look at her. He placed his gloved hands inside of his jacket continuing to smile "I have nothing against that... also let's switch that word from crashing..." he said as he smirked "...to living." he chuckled as he extended his arm to her, his driver was most likely waiting nervously around the corner hiding under the driver seat "Come on, let's go." he said chuckling and continued to extend his hand towards her. He felt happy all of a sudden a moment of true bliss just because of her, was his mind controlled to feel this way? Was it twisted in some kind of way? He didn't know from that idiotic smile on his face.

She said "Do... do..... do.... do you think I'm likable?"

Kagemura raised a thin eyebrow at the unusual question. "I'm sorry, what?"

The girl repeated, "Do you think I'm likable?"

There was a flush her in cheeks, a stammer in her tone, an urgency in her words. It left the man confused and wary. This girl had been targeted by the Triad and their 'Sekirei' fighters, but her first concern was her popularity?

Such a non sequitur would have normally earned a scoffing frown from him. However, these were not normal circumstances. And this was most assuredly not a normal girl.

"I think you'd better explain to me what's going on," he said guardedly.
