Jesus, i totally meant west and just confused myself

Maybe we want the eastern region to be desert themed? Maybe to varying degrees so that some areas are like the sahara (endless rolling sand) and some are like death valley (plateaus and crevasses and such)
 
hmm, well, i see the desert-like areas (both the rolling sands and american canyons and plateau types) fitting well in the west, don't you think?
