Skylar got out of the car and patiently waited for Inane to finish her phone call, blinking at the rapid Japanese that was coming out of the actress's mouth. Sky knew two other languages besides English, neither of them Japanese however. The blonde was fluent in french due to the fact that both of Sky's parent's immigrating to the States for school when they were teenagers and they spoke it exclusively at home unless they had guests that only spoke English over. Skylar also knew how to speak Italian because the blonde had found it fascinating and had begged her parents to let her take lessons.

Skylar smiled giggling a bit when her stomach growled, "No I don't mind Chinese at all."

Inane smiled at the woman as she led the way into the restaurant. As she entered the cool interior of the building she seemed to relax a bit under he clothes. Sighing she told the host there there were two people before turning to Sky. "At least we aren't completely incompatible. Imagine if we absolutely hated each other. The next two weeks would be horrendous," she said with a joking air as she waited for the host to return. While she liked her silence as much as the next person, if she was with someone that she didn't know she tended to get a bit chatty as she could tell she was starting to do now.

"At least there's that," Sky agreed readjusting the grey over-shirt and tugging at the pink sleeves. "I can't imagine what the next two weeks would be like if we couldn't stand each other" Skylar shifted uncomfortably. They got a long fine now, but what would happen if Inane found out Sky's secret. Would they still get along well then?

Inane started to shift her weight a little when she saw Sky shift. Unconsciously she reached up and fiddled with a piece of her hair. They would start getting along better as they spent more time together wouldn't they? "Oh, will you be going home each evening? I just realized that I am your mode of transportation until I take you back to your office. If you want though I have an extra bedroom at my home should you not wish to make the commute back to your home each night," she offered, figuring it was the only polite thing to do in the situation.

Sky's eyes widened at the offer. It was a nice offer but... how was Skylar going to hide the differences of "her" body? And if Inane found out, how was that going to go? But at the same time, Sky really wanted this to work out, not only because of the job, but because it was difficult for Sky to get to know and relax around person and "she" and Inane got along fine... Not to mention it'd be nice to save on gas money and it wasn't like Sky spent a lot of time at "her" apartment anyway.

Skylar grinned, "Sure, why not? We'd just have to stop at my apartment so I can pick up some clothes and such. Thank you."

Inane was about to say that she wouldn't mind visiting Skylar's apartment when the host returned and motioned for them to follow him. Inane's eyes glided over the host in his white clean shirt and well-fitted pants before looking away and back at Skylar. "Well I truly don't have anything planned for the rest of the day. I honestly believed that I'd be spending the entire day going over a script with a dusty little man in a room far too cramped for two adults and dissuading him from hitting on me as i read the script and got acquainted with the character. I never believed that I'd be appointed a shadow, or that that shadow would be such a nice young woman like you," she said as she slipped into the booth that they had been given. She picked up the menu, considered it for only a moment before putting it down. She had known what she wanted the moment that they had entered the restaurant.

Skylar followed Inane and slid into the booth, looking at the menu before quickly deciding to settle on large dish Shrimp Fried Rice, it was yummy and Sky hadn't had it in a while. "You really had nothing planned? Sounds boring, I'm glad I could shake up your day" Skylar said with a slight blush at the "nice young woman" comment. "I'm not that nice," Skylar mumbled

"You aren't?" Inane asked as she raised an eyebrow. "Let's see here, you haven't told me to shut it. You approve of the music I listen to. You didn't comment at all on having to wait for me to take the stairs." She smiled and gratefully took the water that the waitress poured for her and took a sip. "I'll have to disagree with you on that. Thank you miss." Her head bowed a little out of habit to the woman that had poured the water before looking at Skylar with a light smile. "Do you need more time Skylar--Can I call you Skylar?"

Skylar shook her head, closing the menu in front of her "No, thank you, I know what I'm getting. And yes you can call me Skylar, or just "Sky" if you'd rather." Skylar felt the blush on her cheeks "And I'm not nice. You have good taste in music and you don't talk nearly as much as my sister and I'm not going to complain if you'd rather take the stairs, it's healthier at any rate." Shaking her head, Sky's hair fell into her eyes, "I'm not nice, you just haven't gotten to know me yet, I'm a bitch."

"I'd like the Cream cheese Rangoons and the sweet and sour chicken with white rice please," Inane ordered before turning her attention back to Skylar. She considered her and her words. She didn't seem 'bitch' worthy. Relaxing back in her seat, Inane considered the woman, her words, and the next two weeks. "So are you saying," she drawled when she was sure that Skylar had finished her order, "That by the end of these two weeks I'll believe you are a bitch? Or is that just from your point of view?"

"I'll have a large serving of Shrimp Fried Rice please and thank you," Sky said placing the order, before turning back to Inane and considering the redhead's question. "A bit of both I think. I tend to say things without thinking and I don't normally care who I offend. If you manage to think I'm not a bitch or a freak by the end of the two weeks that I'm your shadow, I'll be highly impressed." Skylar said with a wide grin.

The girl smiled and raised her glass, "I'll take that challenge," she said leaning forward onto the table. "I like challenges and I like impressing people. That I need to keep you impressed so my character doesn't get cut out by some horrible fashion like a ship wreck or something makes this a little more like a job interview, I still like it." Her eyes sparkled at the idea of a challenge as if she'd been given a large plate of Sweet and Sour Chicken when she'd only had enough money to pay for rice. "If you don't think I'm completely loony by the end of two weeks I'll be impressed though."

((Sorry this took so long, I haven't been feeling very well the past couple days))

Sky laughed. "I won't cut out your character out by way of shipwreck. Even if we didn't get along. I don't do cliche." Sky grinned, the blonde really enjoyed Inane's company, hopefully it would work out even if the actress found out what Skylar was hiding. Skylar would like that. "No the cliche is more my sister's style. So don't worry, you're safe."

Skylar let out a chuckle, "Don't worry dear, there's no way I could think you're loony."

((Tis all right :) It happens to us all occassionally.
I do have to warn you though that after the 22nd I won't be on until the 27th-28th. I'm going to be out of town and not have access to the internet.))

"You haven't dealt with me for more than an hour or two. You'll be spending the next two weeks with me," Inane said as she giggled softly. "If you promise to keep my character off boats, then I'll be a good little actress and not complain about anything else you have my character do. While I can stand boats, I do get sea sick if I spend too much time on one." She smiled at her and shrugged before picking up her glass and draining it of its water. She didn't know why but she felt like she was in an interview for the part. She was nervous, thirsty, and really needed the part. It wasn't something she could give up. The pay for this drama (should it last outside the first season) was speculated to be enough that she could retire early if she so chose. She wanted a nice, regular job--for an actor that was--that would give her enough work to keep her busy and enough money to make it worth it. She didn't want to live from day to day wondering if she'd have a job or not and if she would have to borrow from her parents for rent again. However she didn't let any of this show up on her face as she sat there smiling.

"You're right, I haven't, but I grew up with two very loud and out there siblings and have spent a lot of time with their kids, trust me there's nothing you can't do that I haven't seen before or can make me think you're loony." Skylar watched as Inane chugged back her water. The actress was nervous for some reason and Sky had a hunch on what that reason was. "Hey, hey, relax. Inane, - can I call you Inane? - you already have the part. I'm just here so I can make the character believable and realistic. I might be a bitch but I'm not going to kill off your character just because we might not get along, that's just not fair. And I promise, I'll do my best to keep you off boats."

Inane looked up at Skylar and then away. "I don't have the part until we start shooting. And even then not until we've aired an episode. At least that is the mentality that I was taught when I was in Japan and was acting. They had a remarkable ability to find a look-a-like for any character that they felt didn't fit the part," she said as her appetizer--the rangoons--arrived. It was placed directly between them and Inane thanked the waitress before looking at the rangoons and then up at Skylar. "Do you like cream cheese Skylar?" This was her way of getting the discussion off of her and onto a different subject.

"Ah, I see. Well we don't have that ability here, and the higher-ups like you. I'm just the writer. One of many in this drama. Even if I wanted to off your character, and I don't, I'd have to clear it with my superiors and the other writers first and there's no way the higher-ups are going to let you go. So take a deep breath and relax."

Sky thought for a second, realizing that Inane was set on changing the subject. Besides, Skylar was supposed to be taking notes on her day to day life outside of work and the writer couldn't do that if work was all they talked about. "I don't mind it."

Inane considered what she had said though she continued on about the food that had been delivered. "Then you should try one of these. They are delicious," she said, picking up one of the rangoons and dipping it in the sauce that had accompanied it. Then, a look of awe and delight filled her features as she bit into the cream cheese filled appetizer. "As always, absolutely delicious.I haven't had any good rangoons except for at here since I came here from Japan."

The young woman turned the rangoon around so that she could dip without dunking the part she'd already bitten off of into the sauce in case Skylar wanted to try the sauce as well. Her eyes sparkled with happiness as she enjoyed her lovely appetizer.

Sky watched as Inane's eyes lit up and chuckled. "Well if you say they're good then they must be so I guess I'll try them." Picking one up, the blonde dipped it in the sauce and then took a bite, blue eyes going wide.

Swallowing, Skylar grinned, "Wow, these are amazing."

Inane grinned back at Skylar as her eyes went wide and she complimented the food. "Then I'm glad there are six of these wonderful things. That way we can share equally," she said as she tilted her head to the side and ate the rest of the one in her fingers. No matter what she would never be able to give up these precious food. "I was told by an experienced actress once, here, that these were the worst thing an actress could eat. That same woman said that they tasted horribly, but she looked like a twig so I don't put much stock in her advice on food. But, I could never give these up. Truly, these are my addiction. These and chick with sweet and sour sauce."
