"This guy is getting on my last nerve. We leave for the next city now. It's about a quarter mile from here. Refrain from any type of magic. Dogs pick up magic like roast beef for some reason." Karmin grabbed the bow from Ana's hands. She wrapped it around her back and took off.

Ana nodded, noting to remember that. Once Karmin started to run off, she fallowed closely behind. She didn't even listen to the trees, even though that didn't necessarily require magical use. They drew near the next town, and could finally stop running. Ana was exhausted yet again even without using her magic. "seems like we got away, for now"

The town they arrived in seemed to be lively, but in a creepy way. It disturbed Karmin so much without warning she made camp on the outskirts of the town. She gave money to Ana for food. "Hurry back."

Ana nodded, and remained silent. That man she set on fire was the first person she ever killed. She took the money, and calmly walked into town. She found a nice looking restaurant and figured they should get something that would last. Luckily they sold elfin bread. Just a little bit could fill you up, and it lasted forever, so she got as much of that as she could and still managed to get a little meat. On her way out, the streets were quiet, and there were plenty of thug types watching her as she walked. To be safe she took a detour and ran back to the camp. She handed Karmin the food and sat down.

When Ana came to camp a bunch of men were dangling upside down from a tree. They started asking for her forgiveness. "Should of thought about that for you tried to fondle me. Thanks Ana." Karmin took a piece of bread a chowed on it.

Ana looked up finding herself impressed. She really admired how strong Karmin was, and hoped maybe one day she could be like that. She sighed and laid on her back finding a spot where she could see the sky.

It wasn't long before the sounds of armor smashing together was heard. "What. Then they can't be tracking us. Damnit. Why didn't I see it before." Karmin grabbed Ana and ran toward the direction of the sound but not it.

Ana found herself extremely confused, and it didn't help that she was already in a daze. "what are you going on about? You mean we're not being hunted down?"

"We are. But, These are only patrols we've been doing what they want. Eventually we would have ran into one further up. Then, when we tried to turn around the other patrol would show up. Get Down." The patrol team was passing by.

Ana got down, and waited patiently. She looked at Karmin who's focus was somewhere else. It was dangerous to be this out of it. Ana had to get a hold of herself. She took a deep breath and looked out at the patrols. Observing, and taking in as much information as she could.

The patrols past by. "Let's move on. We must hurry back to the last city." When they reached their previous residence the constables were investigating the scene. "Our only option now is to wait them out." Karmin took a nap.

Ana nodded, and fallowed Karmin as she had been doing since she escaped. When they arrived and got a place to sleep, Ana noticed that Karmin was sleeping. She stayed on guard, not that she could sleep anyways. She pulled out her share of meat and ate some of it then tucked it away. She listened to the trees and found some sort of peace in her head.
