Welcome, friends, to Pennsylvania's very own Clairton High for the musically gifted! This is where all of our characters shall attend(whether they like it or not), and is also where many an up-and-coming band have been formed in the past! And... What, precisely, does this have to do with you?

Well, you're in one of the newest ones, of course!

But that doesn't explain the title, does it?

Well, my friends.. "Raised On Dust N' Dirt; Once In A Lifetime" is to be the tale of the journey of two bands. But not just any bands...

A band consisting of members of the school's disability group, and a band consisting of... The cool kids of the school, and anyone else they have use of or consider good enough to be in their band(dun dun dunnnn).

So, what side will your character be on? Who will they defend, who will steal their heart or become their sworn enemy, and what hardships and drama will stand in their way?

Please please PLEASE do NOT, everyone, only use Cancer! Get creative! We already have two characters with Cancer, and I'd like for it to stay at that number. There are countless diseases and disabilities... Don't just use one that's well-known!

I'd like you all to get a glimpse of the struggles we have to go through, and see how it feels having to figure out how to overcome them.))​

Appearance:

Dragomira has long, dark hair and deep blue-grey eyes. She has a very light tan, but is for the mostpart considered pale. Most commonly, she can be found wearing a black leather jacket, a simple t-shirt, and either sweat pants, jeans, or denim shorts(NOT short shorts. She wouldn't be caught dead in those, and despises them. She also despises dresses, but can VERY OCCASIONALLY be persuaded to wear them). She also frequently wears a Deadpool hoodie. Another thing is the fact she constantly wears knee braces, ankle braces, and silver ring splints.
Personality: Dragomira is fairly shy, quiet, and outspoken. However; this changes almost entirely when she's in her friends' company. She's a very kind, helpful and outgoing girl. On top of this, she's very empathetic and mature, and is someone that is easy to talk to(too easy, according to quite a few people). She is also extremely modest and self-depreciating. Dragomira is also a total nerd, dork, geek, poet, young author, an artist, and a general klutz. She is also extremely witty, sarcastic, and stubborn and doesn't hesitate to stick up for people she's close to(while she won't stick up for herself).
Disability/Medical Issues: Dragomira has a plethora of disorders, and quite possibly has the most out of her whole band. She suffers from Ehlers Danlos Syndrome(hypermobility type), Major Depressive Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome, Insomnia, Panic Disorder, Anxiety, paranoia, and scoliosis(amongst many other undiagnosed issues).

Favorite Band/Singer/Genre: "Honestly? I love it all. I mean... Music is a way to express ourselves, y'know? I think any type of music is great for that." If she absolutely had to choose, her favorite genre, it would most likely be Indie or Reggae. Her favorite singer would likely be P!nk, and her favorite band would have to be either Linkin Park, Three Days Grace, or Matchbox 20.
Instruments They Play: Mira has self-taught herself on the piano, flute, every percussion instrument she's come across, acoustic guitar, and every instrument she's been able to get her hands on, and LOVES singing.

Skills/talents: Mira is an extremely talented actor, musician, and artist. She's great at making facial expressions(her one talent she agrees she has), playing video games, writing(everyone tells her she's a good writer, but she doubts it), drawing(same as writing), and making others laugh/feel good.
Hobbies/Passtimes: Anything from gaming, to fishing, to acting, to drawing, to reading, to babysitting. Etc.
Likes: Animals(ESPECIALLY wolves), songwriting, acting, reading, writing, comics, children, fishing, camping, baseball, basketball, soccer, video games, etc.
Dislikes: Bullies, being late, her medical issues, the color pink, chocolate.
Major Flaw/Weakness: She always refuses to give up; something that gets her a lot of pain. Her EDS(which causes constant pain, holds her back from sports and other fun activities everyone else can do, and causes her to fall ill frequently), her self-depreciative nature, her past, she has nothing to lose, etc. Side note: She is extremely easy to embarrass, fluster, and manipulate(and to make blush). When embarrassed, her voice gets high. VERY high. The more you embarrass her, the higher it gets.
Fears: The dark/night(due to a life-scarring incident that caused her paranoia), Losing the people she cares about(again), rollercoasters, public speaking, judgement, abandonment, clowns(this was from yet another life-scarring experience), etc.
Backstory: -Will be edited as the story goes along, AKA as we rp, I will add things to her bio. For now; here are some small tidbits.-
At the age of only four, Dragomira was diagnosed with EDS; something that would change her life more than she could ever imagine. This was right after she had gotten a Beagle puppy whom she would always treasure dearly, and who would comfort her through all of life's curveballs; Jackson.

After said diagnosis, it was proclaimed Dragomira was to no longer participate in any sports, nor was she allowed to do any of the PE activities all her classmates did. This devastated the young girl, and she is still unallowed to do any of these things(although, she frequently participates in them despite, though this tends to result in severe injury or prolonged soreness). Despite this, Mira frequently played sports and did things she shouldn't, including frequent wrestling matches with her male friends and her older brother, Alexander.

Because of this, Dragomira took to other activities while in people who knew she shouldn't participate in certain activities company, proving to be extremely talented at these new passtimes. Reading, writing, art, singing, almost every instrument she could get her hands on, and acting.

At the age of eight, her parents got divorced, despite her frequent prayers and pleas that this wouldn't occur. When she was informed it was, indeed, happening, she locked herself in her room with Jackson and cried for days on end.

After this, Dragomira fell into her MDD(Major Depressive Disorder), losing her old constant optimistic attitude. Though, due to her acting skills, she managed to fake the constant happiness that used to be real. She was never the same, and became quite shy and outspoken.

Slowly, her past close relationship with her brother faded, and next thing she knew, right after her thirteenth birthday, it was discovered he was using drugs. In the blink of an eye, she had lost her brother whom she loved so dearly, as he had been shipped away to rehab. Visits to the center to see him were rare, and her depression flared up again when she noticed something; when her family took her to visit, her brother spoke with them, but he wouldn't even look at her. Suddenly; she felt as though all of this were her fault. This resulted in attempted suicide.

Though, her attempted overdose failed, and she lived on to her utter despise.

However.. This was nowhere near done. Throughout the years after, even after her brother came home and began acknowledging her again, she continuously tried to end her life. What was it worth? People only bullied her because of her stupid conditions, anyways... All she ever did was screw up. What was the point?

But it all failed. It never worked; no matter what she tried.

Then, after going through Biofeedback in order to help her control her anxiety and depression, she managed to barely piece herself back together. And then, next thing she knew, her best friend decided to form a band, consisting of anyone with disabilities willing to join; The Deviant Dragons. Instantly, he had come to her and asked her to be the drummer, to which she excitedly agreed. She's been involved in the group since then; back a year and a half ago when it formed. Though, this has yet to stop her consistent self-harm and insecurity, nor her shy and self-depreciative nature.
Other:

Dragomira despises her voice & sneeze. The sneeze part is due to the fact it is very high pitched, and everyone calls it adorable. "Omg, you sneeze like a kitten!!! <3"

Sure thing! I think that'd be alright, considering they could be considered mental disorders(which are definitely more than welcome!).
