Klugh~Durendal/Morte/Azmeryth

Klugh's eyes rested upon the smaller man that made his way inside the group of people, he was small in stature and seemed to be challenging him to battle, he raised the claymore from the ground and placed it across his shoulders resting the blade across the two of his shoulders turning the violet eyes to rest on the group of players that surrounded him. His eyes held questions many of them but quickly they came to rest upon the man drawing a sword from its sheathe. He breathed a light sigh and stepped back slightly to put space between the other warrior shifting his sword back to the ground and clenching the two of his hands tightly around the hilt of the giant two handed weapon. He was ready, he had no reason to cut down this opponent so for now he would simply defend himself and push off the assaults of these players, he nodded his head at the other warrior letting him know that he was ready for this battle to commence.

"Me not know why you attack me but me will defend me"

"You don't even know why the whole lynch mob is here?" Durendal asked, in a half sarcastic manner as he walked up towards Klugh, letting his sword hang loosely to his side. He was confident that he'd be able to defend himself just fine wherever it was since he didn't plan to be doing much blocking but at the same time, if Klugh wasn't going to attack, then he'd made the best of it by backing him into a corner without a fight where the claymore wouldn't be as effective.

Klugh~Durendal/Azmeryth/Tensa/Morte

Klugh simply rose and shook his head to the man, he simply had no idea what a whole mob of people that surrounded him was there for he didn't joke about things like that since technically his life could be on the line here. Klugh didn't even take a step back as the man inched closer, each step the man took only forced his hands to tighten around the hilt of the sword as he watched the man waiting to see if he let him know why he would be ready to be lynched by these group of men and woman, they were hunters seeming ready to leap upon their very prey which is where he stood on the food chain as of now. He breathed another sigh the darkening of the sky overhead seemed only to take his mood with it driving it deeper and deeper into the rage that he was used to through out this game though the feeling only angered him more. He allowed a small almost low feral growl to escape his lips as if the entire personality of the man had changed he allowed his violet gaze to fall upon the group of people once again before slipping forth a few low words though they half crossed between a deep voice and a dark growl.

"Me did nothing wrong, so move so me can go nap"

"The giant system announcement in the sky begs to differ. Murdering others tends to draw a crowd," Durendal shrugged. Personally, he disliked using the word murder here as it was most typically used by the justice freaks but it was okay here since he was trying to put a certain tint on the scene even if it wasn't really necessary to begin with. The lynch mob wasn't here for no reason. Coming to a half a foot away from Klugh, he swung his sword forwards at the side of his oversized opponent's right knee and readied himself to dodge. It was one of the most basic of basic common sense combat fundamentals. To take down someone large, you started at the base and brought them down. Then once they were out of position, you finished the job.

He simply listened as the man spoke, his words tore at Klugh when he stated that he murdered somebody, he was ready to turn his head to the side and begin explaining himself. He wanted to explain that the boy was beyond help especially upon the first floor he simply put the kid out of his misery so he didn't have to suffer watching those he held in the highest prospects to die without being able to raise a hand to help, but once again people didn't listen to words they just attacked....the man had begun his one handed sword aimed for his leg ready to tear him down....he knew the way that worked since that was how most people attacked him. At the same time the man swung his sword for Klugh, he began his own assault tearing his sword across the ground from his left side dragging it all the way across in an attempt with the force behind the mighty weapon to knock his opponents sword to the side at the same time spitting dirt up from the ground towards his opponent as the blade ripped through the ground. The time for words were gone and he would explain himself after the man fell from battle.

Durendal circled partway around to Klugh's right, avoiding contact with the sword. Clashing battles wouldn't really have a point and his position was more than fine anyway. Out came the left sword in a quick slash at his right side while his right sword went up, then came down on Klugh's arms, somewhere around the elbow. Simple routine moves.

His opponent had shifted to his right side and began another assault now a second blade drawn from the confines of his inventory, the new sword was aimed for his arm while the other still shot outward for his leg, Klugh shifted the blade still around to rest in front of his leg allowing the mans blade to ding harmlessly off the claymore in front of his leg. He raised his hand upward as the man brought the sword around raising his arm to the point the the tip of the blade sliced along his arm just enough to draw a little bit of blood. He didn't want to strike the man, he had no reason to kill him, he was capable of defending himself and yet here he was attacking Klugh with no remorse, he shifted his body back again shifting the leg around so he turned his body to face his opponent just resting his hands back around the hilt of the sword the blood dripping down to the hilt. His violet eyes rested upon the man waiting for another attack, he had no reason to strike a blow towards the man and hoped soon the crowd dispersed so this fight could end.

(Dunno what you were reading but there was no strike on the leg and you seem to have gotten the sword targets flipflopped. The left goes to the right side which is closest to where the sword began. The right blade goes for the arms.)

Durendal's left sword buried itself in Klugh's side, and he circled around to match Klugh as he turned, lagging just enough so his sword was dragged to the point where only the tip was left in contact. his right sword was reared back as he readied a stab that was destined to go somewhere but he hadn't decided just where yet. Really, he couldn't fathom why this guy had ended up PKing someone else when he was so docile... but then again, he wasn't some random townsperson. He was Durendal and thus, he really didn't care that much about what the context was unless he had something to gain from it.

(Sorry Kinda early here I must have read that wrong)

He grunted in pain as the man's sword tore through the side of his body the tip of the sword resting within his side as his opponent reared back the right hand sword preparing for a finisher, Klugh let forth a feral roar from his lips gripping the hilt of the claymore and shifting it through the ground kicking dirt from the ground upwards toward Durendal and positioning the blade so it was in front of him no longer within the ground using the force from the blade leaving the ground to distance himself from the man. He was trembling with anger but still his body wouldn't move to make an attack for the man, he had cut him twice and yet still Klugh didn't want to end someones life without reason, the man could be one of the ones that made it through the game. He turned his violet eyes upon the group of people that seemed to still be shouting their words of hate at him, only forcing him to grip the sword tighter. He was still trembling as the words left his lips anger resting still upon the violet swirl of color yet he wasn't blinded with it like normal.

"Me did nothing wrong....me helped kid so he didn't have to suffer....He lost arm couldn't fight.....he would have just watched friends....family die and know he couldn't raise a hand to assist them he would just watch and eventually he would have been killed by a goblin or a wolf that was hungry for meal......me made his death quick painless and now me get criticized for it...me was just helping......you all strong...all can fight....you not lift hand to help him...he would still be there alone....with no help.....me gave him way out of suffer....."

He turned the tip of the blade up and put it back into the ground, the only reason he would still defend was his own life in the real world, he knew what came of this now and he would not fall because of some misunderstanding he didnt want to hurt the man but he would defend his life as much as he could. His two hands still rested upon the hilt of the claymore and clenched tightly the red of his knuckles still showing as his violet eyes rested back upon the man who had been attacking him. He allowed only a few more words to slip forth to the man simple words not of warning but of simply words.

"Me not gonna kill you.....me have no reason to......but me will defend my life"

Morgana -Tirian/Zephyr

"Hm, skills." She mused outloud as they walked."Just what I've picked up here and there from playing with my friends. I've always tried to stay out of the worst of the fighting but it looks like I might not have a choice around here. I know some healing and such, to make myself useful." Morgana was glad she'd found some people who looked like they could fight. "Sorry I got a little spacey back there. It took me a little while to accept all this."

"Healing!" he almost spat up turning to face Morgana at the rear. They had continued their pace, slowly making their way to the other bridge near a river but that fact she was a healer, made him feel a whole lot safer. "That is a skill most people are straying away from, so you actually don't know how happy I am to hear that." He mumbled, but what he was really thinking was that if things got bad she could help them now, if he did a stupid stunt like the last time she could heal him up without as much worry as he'd had when he got shot by the arrow.

The grand truth of everything though; was it was getting dark, and they needed to get back to the city before it got too dark. If he were alone he would of probably rested out until morning to get his new days ore run right in the beginning and then spend the rest of the day training up.; but he looked about at his two travelling companions, and he couldn't deny it was somewhat nice to have people to watch his back. "We really better hurry back to the city, I am willing to bet the Pker has been dealt with by now, and I'm eager to see if I can't catch a black smith before its lights out." He stated kind of quickening his pace. "Morgana you shouldn't let yourself feel downgraded, healing is a very necessary aspect to this game, the mobs are insane in strategy and formation so without a healer they could quickly overrun most, you will have people trying to party with you soon I'm sure, just don't forget to advertise." He smiled back at her as he lead the way, they were not too far from the bridge now, but as the loud roar of bears echoed the area; Tirian realized they weren't close enough.

The Bears came in with small crowds of three from two sides, and it was quickly apparent' that they were in trouble. "Zephyr back to back, Morgana Center support!" Tirian was commanding, but it was mostly of fear and he could only pray that the two followed the orders, he'd wanted to help in the raids hed been involved in but a designated leader already took the role, despite how flawed their technique was. This was how he could handle things; lead from the battlefield at least with this many it was okay.

The bears moved in quickly and Tirian quickly recognized how they intended to attack. "We have to cover the relapse time between their attacks." He growled out His pale blue eyes locked onto the creatures as the first made its lung, and Trian bucked up his shield to hit the bear upside its jaw "Zephyr now!" he was commanding as he stepped back and turned to try and knock back the one that Zephyr would face, he could only hope Zephyr took his old position and killed the one he had stunned. Meanwhile he would knock back the one that had tried attacking Zephyr in the relapse time and land a critical blow jumping to the side of the Bears attack and aiming a quick downward diagonal thrust into the bears throat which would likely kill it.

His strategy was only slightly flawed, as he realized they were doing a double relapse counter attack, on each side, which left Zephyr with two bears on his side; if he hadn't killed the first in that attack of opportunity. Tirian now had one on his side and the other two remaining bears were looking for an opportunity. Tirian was knocked back to where Morgana was by the oncoming bear strike that hit him very hard as tried to block but in ill time. He tumbled next to her, and his life was actually somewhat in her hands. If he was right Zephyr would hopefully finish off his second bear in time to take the front line against the others, he had messed up bad here honestly, and if things didn't get better it would cost them their lives, Normally Tirian never would have trusted a strategy but the fact they had a healer with them sealed it, he could only pray she had watched as well and had some idea how to handle herself against them so she could beat them off if need be. He struggled on the ground jumping up again as the bear that struck him lunged forward, " I have to kill it!" he growled lunging forward as he dashed, and raised his shield. The claw attack came in fast and he was only barely able to deflect it with his strength, but as he did he shot forward his sword aiming to impale the bear at the head and landing the blow miraculously. The bear shattered into data and all that was left as he looked around was three bears, one of which was facing off against Zephyr.

Morte~ Azmeryth

This one was not going to be an easy catch at all it seemed. Morte was not one to give up so easily however, so he put on that same charming smile and turned back to look at her. "Oh, well my apologies then miss, I presumed you didn't want to go into town seeing as you were standing here with your;" he glanced down at the wolf companion next to her. That will be bothersome… "Friend." He smiled to the wolf, though it didn't have much intention on returning the formality "Ahh Temper is it? It is very.. Fitting I think" he chuckled a bit but lowered his weapon for the time, the fight had begun and as he glanced over his shoulder he found himself a bit confused. "Oh? Will he not fight for himself?" He suggested a bemused grin forming, it was almost an open invitation for Morte to run in and steal the kill, but then if he did so the hunter, that Durendal would likely come after HIS head. "It seems things are calming down here, and I didn't truly mean to impose on you milady Azmeryth, If I might humbly ask however, is there anything I can do for you, I would feel more comfortable standing here with you in case our pker friend over there goes on a rampage but that is only have you if you remain outside of the safe zone, though I'm not entirely against escorting you about town as well." He smiled again taking a stance leaning against the wall and picking withdrawing his weapon to the quick draw slot.

Crap crap crap crap CRAP was all Zephyr could think as the six bears broke out of the trees. He instantly started working on a strategy as they advanced toward the group, but was interrupted by Tirian's shout. "You better know what you're doing," Zephyr grumbled as he took up position on the other side of Morgana.

There was no time to talk after that, as the bears rushed them en masse, reaching Zephyr first. Thankfully, the enemies were slightly staggered as they approached, allowing him to confront them one at a time. He leaped toward the first bear as it attacked, slashing forward with each of his blades in quick succession. Though he bloodied it's face Zephyr wasn't able to do much damage until the monster swung at him. Seeing it as his only chance for a clean hit, the fighter stepped into the bears slash, using his left-hand sword to minimize the damage while thrusting at the bear's exposed neck with his right. The tactic was successful-- the bear exploding into nothingness-- if you don't count the fact that Zephyr took most of the beast's attack directly on his left arm.

The attack bowled him over, knocking him past Morgana to the side Tirian was defending. But, for some reason, Tirian wasn't there. A bit disoriented, Zephyr spun in a quick circle, seeing Tirian standing where he had just been, and a slightly staggering bear standing with nothing between it and Morgana. Whatever, I'll go with it, he thought, and dashed to the bear's side, stabbing deep into it with his right-hand weapon. Confused, he looked down to his left hand, wondering why it hadn't moved.

Zephyr choked slightly as he saw the mangled mess that the bear's attack had made of his arm, then looked up to the two bears standing behind the one that he had just killed. He gritted his teeth as he took up a one-handed sword stance. This is gonna hurt, he thought, and lunged toward one of the beasts.

Tirian was in danger, but luckily had pulled out of the danger zone with a fond killing blow to the final Bear on his side. No doubt the creatures ha dnoticed his superior defense with a shield, and had come around to face Zephyr. "Zephyr, two closing in!" he growled turning and taking off at a dash, though he was quick to make sure Morgana was clear. " Morgana stay behind us" He nodded quickly to her and took off at a running dash, both the bears were about to do a Simultaneous attack now, and it likely would have really screwed up Zephyr, but Tirian jumped in and intercepted the second bears blow, and Zephyr would do the same for the other. The battle was over, so long as neither of them screwed up in this next attack., and he couldn't help but think Zephyr was getting used to the odd tactics this game required for duo fighting. "Stun, switch Attack!' he growled out as he nodded to Zephyr and prepared for the next attack,

The bear rose up and came down with its claws, and just as it did, Tirian raised his shield hard and fast for a knock back effect on the bear, glancing to the side to hope that Zephyr had done the same. Tirian stepped to the side kind of hesitating as he thrust diagonally forward towards Zephyrs opponent and hoped Zephyr would catch it and do the same to his own opponent. Two killing strikes would end this battle and let them rest and collect the rewards of the battle.

Zephyr~ Tirian, Morgana

Things weren't looking good for Zephyr: fighting two bears with only one sword wasn't exactly a favorable position. Tirian pulled a nice defensive move, however, that really saved his butt. One on one was much better odds, though he still had to be cautious. Just as the bear reared up for a smash attack, Tirian yelled out an order for an attack sequence. "Stun," what's that supposed to-- Zephyr suddenly remembered Tirian's shield bash that had stunned the bear earlier. Zephyr might not have a shield, but he was pretty sure he could make it work. Jumping forward, he smashed his shoulder into the bear's chest, knocking it off balance. As he pushed off from his enemy, Zephyr saw Tirian coming at the bear sword-first, and spun to the side to confront Tirian's, which was staggering backward like the first bear had. Shifting to a fencer's stance, Zephyr stepped forward into a simple stab, straight into his opponent's heart, and turned the monster into dust.

That was it, the final simultaneous blow was struck, and their opponents were dead. Tirian was the first to fall onto his rear and let out a big sigh of relief. "That was so fucked." he stated grinning as he held his wounds. Zephyr wouldn't be far behind of course, and Morgana was safe, which meant a lot. "You did great on your end Zephyr." he stated. One thing he had only partially noticed, is he was lightening up a lot, but honestly he had dealt with these bears before by himself, they were easy enough to solo but when you had a party or help he had to worry about them, after all who wanted to see others die because they were too focused on themselves? Tirian sighed and fell back looking up at the night sky, he was reluctant but after a while he glanced over at Morgana. "Err any chance you could heal us up Morgana, I don't like to ask but well." he raised up and showed the giant gash in his back shoulder, and Zephyr was pretty ganged up as well. "We won't make as good of time if we are in crap condition, and Im pretty sure we will run into small groups of Goblins as we make our way back to Grand Masai too." he sighed again and shut his eyes. Normally sleeping right here under the stars would be relaxing but he couldn't get that edge out, what if more bears spawned? "Lets get over near the dungeon though, its bound to be safe there as long as we don't go in. He was happy they had all survived, and Zephyr had picked up on some good tactics Tirian had learned from raiding a few times with the Frontline. Tirian pushed up from the ground to lead the way but took up his spoils too. Another piece of leather, and an accumulative 20 Gold, which would certainly help him when he got back to town.

( I don't know if I have to do anything special but here goes.)
Morgana nodded. "Those wounds aren't too bad. And it shouldn't take me long. We can even do it on the go since it's an energy based talent. As she spoke Tirian's wounds began to glow slightly and slowly started to heal. "I should thank you guys for saving me from the bears. Smaller things like goblins I'm sure I could handle, but I haven't had much practice with this sword." She focused on her healing for a moment before she spoke again. "So do what's our plan then, for tomorrow?" Tirian had mentioned how other people would be interested in her skill but she wasn't sure she could trust other motives. "I'm gonna be sticking with you guys for a while."

(Hey, I just assumed that Morgana got an equal share of the loot. She didn't fight, but my character definitely found her healing useful.)

Zephyr picked up the sword he had dropped on the ground after his left arm got mauled. He was all for collecting loot, and even enjoyed a good fight, but it was getting late and he was ready to head back to town. Collecting his share of the loot, he was happy to see it was all gold, which he would need to gear up for the coming fights. He was going to be heading to the dungeons in the near future, and he wanted to be ready. As the trio began to make their way back toward Grand Masai, he reflected on the fact that, while he was still most comfortable fighting solo, it was kinda nice having someone to watch your back.

Durendal ~ Klugh

Durendal stepped forwards with his left foot as Klugh retreated in a left handed fencing style stab. The right sword could have been a finisher, yes, but the left was already there, doing its job and could end things just as well. However, he came to a pause after the giant went off rambling on with his story. Since he wasn't moving, Durendal found it safe to pause rather than double the lunge and probably finish the job. Once it was over, the came the the conclusion that the man was an idiot or hadn't read the manual.

"We have potions to deal with lost arms. If you'd brought him to town, someone would have sold or donated one," Durendal replied in a deadpanned tone. Medics were supposed to be able to deal with that too but he wasn't sure if there were any NPCs down in town that were high enough level to repair stuff like that. After all, he had no need to know. It wasn't like they'd be able to lay a hand on him in the first place. However, he did not remove his sword just yet, wanting to hear an answer first. It wasn't in his nature to play nice. People who turned their backs were stabbed in the back. He'd much prefer to face his opponent with his sword lodged in them while things were worked out. It meant that he could end them whenever he decided instead of giving them chances. Unnecessary chances.

He raised his hand upward to run through the locks of his brown hair, fingers curling roughly through each lock as the man spoke about potions and people with the ability to repair an arm. He had heard such things upon higher levels of this dungeon but here in the first town it was very unlikely, the mans sword was now positioned to end Klugh's life on the next whim of his will. He allowed another sigh to bypass his lips before speaking again.

"Me didnt think healers of such abilities would be down here"

(sorry for length >.>)

GM Message~

The people stirred, they were truly confused by all of this. was this man not a murderer? Hadn't he stolen the life of an innocent child, killed him knowing the truth this game had to offer. Some thought to shout, but when they looked at him and how he defended, how he chose not to make any strike towards the attacker in defiance, they couldn't help but warm up a bit, a fisherman finally stepped up noting that no one else would. He was brave and old, having to be in his late senior years as he held a hand up to quiet the whispers. "I seen the 'attack' This man truly did have good intention when he killed the man, and of course he is suffering more than any of us could hope to make him suffer, with knowing that the boy could have been saved now. This has gone on long enough." The man set his fishing pole down and walked over to the two warriors. "Klugh you now know that there are other less barbaric alternatives right?" The old man questioned sighing a bit as he turned to the people and the attacker Durendal. "Lets have this rest, have it rest and just stop here, no more life needs to be taken today or have we already forgotten our humanity, its bound to be confusing we are stuck in a game that is literally a life and death sentence, I say we let the man go anyone that has anything they feel needs be said to him do it now, let him bare his sin as he should."

The old man stopped with that and sighed to himself waiting as people looked up and cursed the large warriors name, he hoped Durendal would drop this too. However just as that hope almost seemed reasonable, the sound of Armor clamored as A bearded man known as Heizen the leader of the Front-lines stepped forward, his coy voice resounding. "So we are supposed to forgive someone for murder in this world? He laughed to himself, fine I will bite but I for one do not see that he can be trusted. So lets see if you can make us a deal barbarian!" he spat before having one of his men hand him a scroll. "So here is the barter murderer, you will sacrifice all Items you have and start literally from scratch, and you will NEVER be allowed to join the Front-lines in battle, is this a deal?"

He left it at that and let it go turned to look to the people, waiting for them to cheer him on, as they did so predictably.
