Pilgrim's Reach

Well, that was gonna be the final big reveal at the end of this thing.

The Ezekiel IS a bomb. A giant reactor set to go critical the moment we reached Estragon. Command sent it to destroy the other bunker because (unknown to us) it had forsaken religion and begun communicating with the mutants. Command needed to defend Falkonism and strengthen it by making sure they were the only survivors. The cover story of "seeking out our brothers and sisters" was just BS to get the public onboard and also dispose of some undesirables (you guys).

So the theme of this roleplay was "Even at the end of the world, we still try to kill each other".

The climax would have involved the tank being driven down into the heart of the Second Bunker, at which point we'd realise that we've been screwed over. Then there'd be a race against time to escape or deactivate the ticking timebomb that we just inadvertantly parked.

... God damnit... now I actually wanted to complete this RP, as that would've been an awesome (in typical Asmodeus fashion) reveal and plot twist.
