BACKGROUND:

Robin didn't derive from a rich family, but she certainly did not come from a poor one. Her family was well-off thanks to her grandparents. Her grandmother was a novelist and a poet, and her grandfather a war veteran with medals to show for it. They supported their son and in his wife moving to the big city where they had Robin. They lived a decent lifestyle until her grandfather passed away and her parents couldn't be bothered to attend the funeral. It resulted in her grandmother sending them nothing when finances got tight and an argument broke out during a drive, resulting in a car accident.

She was the only survivor, but the events still torment her to this day. She was sent to live with her grandmother and when she noticed how fragile her mental health was she died her best to give her help without sending her to a doctor in fear of what would happen to her. Robin was homeschooled the moment she started living with her grandmother.

She spends most of her time alone and at the diner, working on her writing. She is a bit too quirky for some townspeople, but it doesn't stop her from going out and even socializing.

BACKGROUND:

James came from the perfect little white picket fence family, except that it wasn't all that perfect. His dad was a dick and his mother always rolled over for the man. He vowed never to be like the man when he got a family of his own. But his life turned out messier than he had planned and far from the traditional tracks.

In high school, he discovered his attraction to the same sex on top of the opposite sex. He pushed it away and ignored it, something he was able to do well when he met and fell in love with a female classmate named Rosemary. Not long into their dating, they were surprised with a pregnancy, but they decided to stay together and have the baby. Their parents were disappointed and ashamed, it was worse with them being in a small town. But the young couple made it work.

They married two years after the birth of their son, Paul, despite being frowned at.

When their son was four, Rosemary dropped dead on the kitchen floor. It was an aneurysm. Widowed with a four-year-old, James turned to alcoholism. His mother helped to raise Paul until she grew sick and passed away. It has been him and his son ever since.

BACKGROUND:

Peggy has one of those rags to riches stories. She was born as the third and youngest daughter of a family working every day to make ends meet. Her mother made sure she and her sisters were fed and dressed decently but otherwise would neglect them. And their father, he was the kindest man somedays, others cold and callous. They were unaware at the time what was wrong with the man ... it was just how old dad was.

Despite this, Peggy had dreams of grandeur, far brighter than the dingy, small apartment they were holed up in. She was going to be a singer or an actress and she would be married to a good man who would love her and they would have three kids. Two boys and a girl. She was not going to make any compromises for her future regardless of the ridicule her sisters jabbed her with all the time.

She considered her story a Cinderella story. She grew up to be the prettiest of her sisters and the second to be married at a young age when a doctor at the hospital she frequented for her mother's health show interest in her. He was ... kind, it was a loveless marriage. Which she only recognized after his first affair. And on one of his rendezvous, he died a horrible death, being shot and killed during a street robbery.

Only a few years after his death did Peggy remarry. Her childhood friend who was a pilot. It was during that marriage did they realize there was something different from her, her mental health ... They worked through it and still found peace happiness together. Something that quickly faded when passed away from Cancer.

Peggy didn't want to marry again, but when an older gentleman with a hand in showbiz showed interest in her kindly, she accepted it. Needless to say, it was horrible. The most verbally abusive person she had to live with, occasionally physical. She only found solace in a friend that happened to be male. Rumors spread about their relation, nothing Peggy could diffuse. But then her husband died, this time of a sudden heart attack. And that onl incited more talk.

So, she skipped the big city and tried her luck in a small town where no one knew her name.

Ji Yeon was born as the firstborn child to a college professor and retired high school teacher. From the moment she was born, the world was expected from her. Even at a young age, her parents groomed her to be the best. She received above-average grades, became class president from the moment she was eligible, proceeded to show off her talents and unconsciously her beauty. She was quite popular in her school for her many achievements and beauty, but she had few friends. It was because she was trying too hard to her best in everything else that friends weren't at the top of her priority and most people were intimidated by her.

She was only sixteen when she was spotted by a talent agency. She at first wasn't appealed by the offer, but later realized that she did like singing and writing songs. And if she could share it with the world, why wouldn't she? It took her parents a lot of convincing to let her join, but ultimately they did love her dearly even if they were strict on her and allowed her to join as long as she still went to school and college afterwards. And so she did, training as she attended school and debuted three years later. She was a fast learner after all and the group she debuted it was an instant hit.

She was loved by fans for her voice and songs she wrote herself. Not to mention her "savage", sassy, no bullshit attitude. However, she was still the least like for her personality as many thought that was all she was and frankly that she hated men. A pretty face and fierce girl. Lin Su-Wei is the only child of a single mother. Her father passed away due to illness when she was too young to even remember. But her mother worked hard to support her daughter day and night. Wanting to contribute more and make her mother proud, Su-Wei auditioned to get on born an idol company when she was only ten.

She was a pretty girl, she had the energy, personality but they said she lacked talent. That didn't stop her and she got in on her second try. Training had been difficult worse more when she entered high school she had to enter a new training program in South Korea, leaving everything she knew behind. Between that language and culture barrier and the intensive training, she had almost given up. But the girl debuted after being put on a reality show to form a new girl group.

Her main role was visuals ... she had to work twice as hard to gain lines. The harder she worked the more popular she became, even releasing solo singles and acting gigs. But with popularity came more trouble. Su can remember the first time she received a lot backlash for simply waving a Taiwanese flag and how interviewers always inquired about her relationship with any male idol she was too close to.

Simon was dropped on Saint Benoist Home for boys at 2 weeks old. The caretaker almost threw him away when they discovered he was a hybrid, but they still had some humanity in them and kept him. As an orphanage in the Magi slice, they didn't have the best means to raise a vampiric child. As a result, he was given the cheapest animal blood to survive on.

The older he got and the more obvious his vampiric traits became, the more he was abused by the ones who were supposed to take care of him. They found reason upon reason to punish him. The other children ridiculed and targeted him for mistreatment and bullying. He often spent time alone in a corner, reading and studying his magic on his own.

He was 11 when a Rogue Magician family master adopted him, named Eliphas Scott. A shock to them all when his magic was the weakest out of the rest of the boys. He took him on as his student to learn his magic and pass it on to his own student later. Under his tutelage and sheer hard work, Simon's magic had reached an amazing point. So much so, he made it into the Academy. Though, there he isn't the most outstanding figure .. probably the weakest. He still has magic flukes.

Born into the fierce and ruthless Fenris family, Elena hadn't the best life. As a small child, things were easy going, but as she grew older she began seeing how the hierarchy worked. The more she played around with weaker members, the more she was grouped with them and picked on. There was no way she was going to be the omega... She couldn't protect herself yet alone the ones she cared for.

So, for a while, she ignored her weaker siblings to fight her way to the top of the chain. There wasn't much else she could do for them except distract the higher members. And when she made it to a respectable standing, her loved ones started to resent her already. Still, family is family.

Elena cares for her family, those who resented her and loved her both. Now she's trying to repair her relationship with her older brother, but he has a penchant of making things difficult.

Artemis was born with a silver spoon in her mouth. Or that's what she's been told and how could anyone disagree when she was the oldest child of a noble in the house of Viridi? She was raised to be a respectable and kind girl to uphold the title of their house. She started her training before she signed the book and continued to hone her skills with exceptional talent.

The number of friends she had was a few between her magic training and her time studying to be Geisha. Geisha was the only thing that she made a decision on by herself, but that was eventually taken from her. Her parents pulled her out of the school so she could study to be something more prominent than a Geisha.

Not long after, she married a childhood friend in her clan. The majority was against it and thought she wouldn't be able to complete her training since she was settling down. They were wrong. Despite her married life and the children that came with it, Artemis completed her training and became a master. One of the best in their clan, highly respected. She continued to study to help expand their knowledge and usage of their magic.

When her husband died, she fell deeper into her studies and raising the power and status of their House.

Kai was born in Northern Cervia to a loving small family, They were the youngest of three children. Their father worked for a fishing business and their mother a seamstress. Life on the harbour was poor for the Lynn's, but simple and still somewhat happy. They didn't have to complain about much. Not until Kai was abducted at the young age of 14.

For years, they were stuck in the captivity of some Black Market sellers. Being a Celestine merfolk, they were valuable. So, during their captivity, they cried and bled for years for the simple sake of making their captors money. It was a nightmare.

It was not until the black market had been raided by the officials that Kair was returned to their family. The people they once knew had changed. They moved to Black City and had adopted a little girl when Kai was gone, giving them a new sister. Their brother was off on the streets and their sister started a family. As for Kai's parents, they reached a new overprotective and helicopter parenting style when Kai returned.
