I just reached level 13 this evening and got the paragon skin for Reinhardt.

FIrst match

Pick Roadhog.

Get 29 eliminations, 5k+ damage, 3k healing.

4 gold medal. Play of the game.

This is my game. You are all just visitors to Hookcity, and I am the mayor.

Me and five of my buddies decided to play last night. We were suppose to escort the vehicle, so all 6 of us chose Reinhardt and just stood on the vehicle and alternating our shields.

It only became an issue when they finally wised up and got a Pharrah on the team to get above us.

Only thing I don't like about the hook is you can't pull constructs to yourself. (Namely, Torg's turrets, which if he gets in the right choke point, are much harder to deal with than Bastion.)

Aside from that little detail, this game is shockingly well balanced.

Torbjörn is one of Roadhogs weaknesses. A junkrat WRECKS todbjörn

Needs more 4x Toblerone cross fire matches.

Fuck you, our point. All the molten cores!

Also DVA is so silly. Melee'ing Reaper to death over and over is so disgustingly satisfying. The Melee hit area feels really big.

Something I noticed while playing offence is that if you wipe or nearly wipe the enemy team, send a few teammates ahead to give the defenders shit and they'll never be able to put together a coherent defense in time for the rest of the team to catch up and wreck their shit. I won so many games on Hanamura 'cause I ran ahead and made their life hell while they tried to get their shit together.

Unless the team is a 6-stack. Me and my buddies been playing full stack. SUDDENLY EVERYONE IS TACTICAL

The enemy team tries to bottle you in? Tracers, reaper and D.Vas

Been playing almost-exclusively Hanzo, trying to git gud. I... think I'm getting there! D: Otherwise, I'm woefully terrible at this game. I got a few choice-select heroes I enjoy playing, others I haven't touched yet, others I have zero skill in. :c O gad, to be a teenager again with insane reflexes and unending hours of rage...

When I am not busy Roadhogging, I am busy widowmaking. My first 2-3 minutes on defence is usually 3 kill a minute deal. I become dead weight as WM if they get to pushing the payload.

I do the same with Hanzo. Once they're on the payload, time to switch to something more dynamic. I'm slowly starting to learn that you need to constantly switch heroes to consistently counter the opposing team. I've been stubbornly sticking to one hero per "round" of every match, sometimes just to prove that it can be done. But... Well, yeah. Next time Tracer is stomping my nuts into the ground while I'm on Hanzo, I'm just going to switch to McCree or Bastion to handle her.

I learned pretty early on to never keep to one character for too long. My rule of thumb is, if I'm dying too often without making positive movement for our team I'll switch. Because of that I forced myself to go out of my comfort zone on the fly and learn through kicking ass/getting my ass kicked.

I also firmly believe if you feel any one character is too OP or that you "main" a single character than you're a scrub.

Annoyingly I seem to get movement delay, which prevents me from sniping which is what I tend to do on all FPS games. So at the moment I'm using Solider / Bastion.

Yeah, I hated Bastion early on, but he's really not hard to counter. Reaper, Tracer, Genji, Hanzo, Widow, Mei... Everyone has at least one hero who will wipe the floor with them. Tracer is another one that is so infuriating to play against when the player is good, but drop a McCree or Winston on them and boom, shut down.

Reaper has been so ridiculously fun for me to play in particular out of all the characters in the game; he has very comfortable maneuverability for me (his Wraith Form also provides several much-needed escapes during certain moments) and is convenient for scoring last-minute killing blows on opponents with his shotguns.

Can confirm: During the open beta, I couldn't sleep after playing for several hours 'cause I had the damn game on my mind.

They should be calling this Overcrack.

I just watched my friend wipe the entire team on route 66 as Pharah.

Just got a five man kill with Deadeye on McCree (Just stand behind Reinhardts shield)
