It's a swirl of communication with endless formats, whether it be by video, post, or even clever moving image expressing our great disdain with humanity. Information is at our hands at the blink of an eye - Google gets to tell us so we can act like we already knew how to spell that word right and didn't just double check. It's a place of vastness. The online world is never ending, only expanding. Even to places that may be below the surface. Everything that you post or share will forever be within its imaginary walls for the rest of eternity. Which is why of course we must choose wisely what we do or even who we talk to. Often we find ourselves communicating about our lives in small groups of people whom come from all over the world. A collection of like minds that have nowhere else to go in reality, frequently feeling isolated for their own experiences. [/BCOLOR]
[BCOLOR=#b97a88]That's where this small group comes in. They all connect through a similar feeling of young adult hopelessness. At an age where they're far too old to express their fear in growing expectation, but too young to really feel a grip on the world and what they truly want. They're all carrying personal burdens they must hide, however with their friends they feel freedom regardless. One of the notable people of the friend group had been SheSaid (Sai for short), a 22 year old girl from Delaware. She was that beauty guru type that knew all the ways to take care of yourself. In fact, she always encouraged it. One of the 'mothers' of the group. It always seemed like she had her life together, but those who sat down with her and finally got her to be honest know that she suffered from bipolar disorder and would often get bouts of sudden depression or highs. In fact, she was on a high streak when she suddenly just disappeared. Sai at least said something every day, so when all the sudden days passed with no SheSaid, they were curious. But when weeks passed, they became worried. [/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=#b97a88]Finally, the group decided to come together to figure out where she went all the sudden. Some are nervous for their first IRL meeting, while others seem to be feeling comfortable aside from the scary situation. They've all decided to travel to meet at a local pizza joint in Dover to start the investigation in hopes to find her. [/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=#b97a88]I can't recall if I've seen any other musical RPs come to think of it? Heck I don't even know if they've been done before. My image for this genre is that it'd be going in the way you would in a musical. If a character is going through an overpowering emotion they'd burst out in song to express themselves. Sometimes the song addresses the feelings itself or beats around the bush, but regardless it happens out of seemingly nowhere and yet still builds up to it. Kind of like when you hear "Beauty and the Beast" begin when Belle and the Beast dance in the ballroom. Or when Ariel conveys she wants more in "Part of Your World." You don't expect the song there, but it's lead up to by knowing what's going on with the character(s). [/BCOLOR]
[BCOLOR=#b97a88]Instead of just having it play out as it would in a movie or in a musical as one would view it, the song that the character sings would be written in as speech or linked to in some way to show their feelings. Written physical movement is as required as you desire it to be during the song. It depends on if you want the character to move around or not. [/BCOLOR]
[BCOLOR=#b97a88]The songs aren't frequent, it's every once in a while. So it won't be every post that needs a song. But when you do decide for your character to sing, it helps develop and understand them/their situation.[/BCOLOR]

Screen Name: Kite Real Name: Quinn Silvercloud Gender: Female Age: 19 Occupation: Part time student Personality: Quinn is a quiet and thoughtful girl. She is quick to stay out of tension and is slow to voice her opinions, often opting to go with the flow. Despite this, Quinn can be stubborn and once she makes her decisions it can be difficult to persuade her otherwise, even if she is hesitant to speak up about it. A shy and timid girl, Quinn is no expert at hiding her emotions from her face. While this is the case, she can be an excellent secret keeper for others, locking their secrets away inside of her. There's not many she can spill them to anyway. At least not in real life.
Quinn is more comfortable online. Although still relatively quiet, Kite can voice her opinions more easily, adopting a persona that is more outspoken and carefree. Bio: Quinn has always been quiet and soft-spoken. She has watched all her friends grow, begin relationships and start jobs, while she has been too shy to break out of her shell. When Sai disappeared, Quinn decided that she should meet with the others and look for her. She wishes to grow more confident and more outgoing, and hopes that this may help her take the first step. Relationships: Shesaid - Sai was one of the first who encouraged Kite and helped her realise that she could become more confident online. Kite considers Sai to be one of her closest friends, one who she can speak her mind to. Despite their closeness, Kite has little knowledge of Sai's bipolar disorder - she has her suspicions, but it's easy to change from one person to the next when you're online. After all, Kite is no stranger to this. How much of it affects Sai and whether or not she actually suffers from it - Kite is unsure. Voice Sample:

Pᴇʀsᴏɴᴀʟɪᴛʏ With the frequent moving, Dai (or also called Iphis to clear up confusion with his friends) didn't really get to make real friends. Not only was he constantly going from place to place, but he was never away from his parent's supervision to meet anyone. While they meant well, wishing to protect their son from the dangers of a place they didn't know as they did the States, it still took a toll. Because of this, when he makes friends, he is always trying to please them in some way, shape, or form. Whether it be trying to Google whatever they're talking about without them knowing, or simply always agreeing with them regardless of consequence. He doesn't wish to make them angry or disappointed. In addition, he is a very affectionate friend. Always first to pass around hugs or give whatever love needed. Often you'll find him saying wonderful things to someone, not to deceive them, but because he honestly believes them. He just wants to make people happy. Whether he knows them or not. He just wants others to like him. Maybe it'll be less empty feeling to be loved by many?
Given he'll do whatever it takes, he's often a source of both gullibility and poor comedy. Yeah, sometimes (rarely) he hits it hard with humor, but most of the time it results in a few kidding boos. He doesn't mind being the butt of the joke, either, as he often places himself there on his own accord. When it comes to being gullible, he'll be the first one to agree. As it's constantly confirmed by his belief in click bait and tall tales; so long as someone says it's true, then it must be. Unfortunately for him, this also means that horror stories are much more fear inducing than some would have it. It takes him months to shake off his experience of reading about some fake creature that haunts you when you think about him enough. Sometimes leading him to force others to stay up all night with him because there is no way you're just going to abandon him, okay? What if he dies?
Due to his experiences with many different places, seeing different types of people, he is rather open minded. He's eaten enough to not be afraid of a few ants that happen on his packaged cupcake, nor is he the sort of person to just exclude someone for being who they are or how they were born. Unless of course they excluded him first. Then he'd feel sad and bitter, perhaps a touch of petty.
When it comes to his actions online, other than chatting with his friends he will probably be either looking at pictures of food, or watching whatever someone else recommended to him. Dai is always trying to find something new to become a fan of and inwardly obsess over.
Bɪᴏ He grew up in the south of the United States under a well enough family. While by no means lavishly rich, they would consider themselves in prosperous in the ever shrinking almost upper middle class. Living this lifestyle, he was able to receive just about anything he wanted or needed. Doctor appointments weren't cheap, but could be paid. Small vacations were possible, with less length in saving as opposed to the lower classes. If you were good, you got a car when you were 16, and probably if not a dated new car then a nice newer used car. While realistically, the family could potentially afford more, it doesn't all go to the most expensive supplies. You see, the head of the family is Dai's Grandmother, or "Mamaw" as she prefers, on his mother's side. Not only is the home hers, but as is everything else-all thanks to age and the deceased "Papaw." If a money decision is made in her house, you must first receive her approval. While she may be by no means a penny pincher, you won't be given any sort of immense extravagance. Her desire I'd to give her loved ones a fulfilled life, but not a spoiled one. To the point where once she passes, she will be giving no money to her family-instead donating it to charity. Not that they know that just yet. Next comes Dai's mother and father. His father met his mother overseas. She was in the air force at the time and had been stationed in South Korea.
While on her time off, she went off to find any sort of sweet iced tea anywhere. After all, it'd been rather scarce to find anywhere but the states. Unfortunately this ran her all over the place. Practically to Seoul and back, as she usually jokes upon telling the story. All in which left her with no iced tea. After her run around however, she settled for some coke and pizza. While waiting at her table, she noticed a guy seeming rather lonely at his own seating. I mean, she knew better than to just rudely interrupt someone but this guy was cute and she hadn't seen many other foreigners off base. So she went for it anyways. It was then, there, that she met his father's best friend.
Five years later they had Dai, and two years after they decided to visit home in the promise to wed. With 11 years of service under her belt, she made an agreement once returning home to remain at her job until she hit the twenty year mark, then leave. Of course, her original hope was thirty, though instead decided upon otherwise when the consensus was made with her mother (and Dai's dad) to quit working. In return, she would cover all costs until her passing.
In the time that it took, and the various moves, Dai had grown up in five different countries until the age of eleven. Having experienced a multitude of cultures, and homeschooling by his former English teacher of a dad, most people would assume he had much more excitement in his life than most children. However, it seemed just as normal to him. All they really did was eat food, listen to dad's lectures, and wait for mom to come home. Some days when they were off they'd maybe visit the city or stay inside to play games. It didn't feel like a vacation, it just felt like another temporary home. In fact when it finally came time to "go home" for good, everything felt natural. Aside from going to a prep school and mom always being home instead of just dad.
All the money mom made once they moved in with Mamaw went to paying for his education without debt. If the rest goes into savings for emergencies.Unfortunately all will be revoked as soon as he gets any report lower than a B.
Rᴇʟᴀᴛɪᴏɴsʜɪᴘs SʜᴇSᴀɪᴅ - Sai was always someone he'd joke over "twinning" with due to her nickname and his real name. They weren't the closest of people, but he admired her. As someone who likes to see others happy, he wanted to also be something like she was to many. She was as a mother to him, or sometimes considered a "sister" in the family dynamic, as she had been to most. There was no expressed beef with her. As a friend, he is concerned of her whereabouts, wanting to the group to be whole again.
Kɪᴛᴇ - Cuddles and Kite's relationship is best summarized that of a brother/sister type. They're close enough to be real with one another, but also not too serious to just goof off. Even feeling a slight rivalry at times. Dai is protective over her and gets very upset when someone hurts her feelings. Often becoming a bit too comforting when it may have not been a big deal at all. To him, she is a sweet little cinnamon roll that shall not be tainted
