Once Upon A Time: Shards of the Past

(The cottage in which Merlin took each knight to escape to our world)

We've all heard the tales of past damsels in distress, knights in shining armor, few individuals changing the course of history, but little did we know that the tales we grew up on weren't fiction. They were our pasts.

Long ago, a land called Fairytale existed. Many legendary royals and saviors lived here; from Cinderella to an average villager, many called this land their home. It was a vast land that stretched across miles, where dragons dominated the skies and the common man herded sheep for a living. Though this land was haunted by the evils that lurked on the borders waiting to consume anything it touched. To combat against the danger of the darkness princes, princesses, band together to create what is known as O.U.T, or Once Upon A Time; an order of knights, male and female alike, that swore to vanquish the evils. Their stories were altered to tend to the minds of little ones; however, some of these knights are known as Cinderella, Prince Charming, Prince Phillip, Tiana, Ariel, etc. Despite their best efforts, they failed and the darkness consumed their world casting a curse on the land that prevented time from moving forward. Thanks to the efforts of Merlin, a great wizard, the spirits of the knights were taken from their dying bodies a transferred to the bodies of little ones in an alternate world (our world). The darkness was angered by this and locked Merlin in the tallest tower in the darkest corner of Fairytale.

Somehow, Merlin managed to escape through the dream world. He was able to manifest himself into solid form in a world known as Earth. The knights were now grown and ready to fight the evils of Fairytale, but they just don't know that. One by one, Merlin is convincing the knights of their pasts and bringing them back to Fairytale. However, with the return of all knights brought the light back into Fairytale and allowed time to begin moving forward again. The darkness is fully aware of the knights' presence and wishes to snub out the light once and for all. Will good triumph over evil, or will evil reign supreme?

• I am GM, what I say goes! If at some point I appoint a co-gm, what we say goes.
• All Iwaku rules apply!!!!!
• Let's be nice to each other guys! I don't stand for an ass in my RP's. If you have something to say feel free to say it, but let people have creative ideas.
• I do accepted thoughts and ideas for the story, in fact I encourage them, but don't just come out of no where and change the course of the story without being approved before hand.

Sign-ups Rules

• Let's get creative guys! I love in depth characters, but that doesn't have to be in the CS if you want just make sure you have some kind of character development going on!
• NO GOD-MODING!!!!
• 2 character limit! Keep genders even!
• Try to keep friend, enemy, significant other list updated.
• Remember, not everyone is a Mulan or Cinderella, so once an original character is taken it's taken move on and pick another OR...
• You can play a considered villain, but take a new perspective on them to make them better. BUT NO BIG NAME VILLIANS LIKE THE EVIL QUEEN OR MALEFICENT!
• You can make your own up! What? I can make my own character? Yes, yes you can. However a draw back of this is the made-up characters aren't as well known in Fairytale, but a good thing about this is that they aren't that well known in Fairytale.
• Realistic anime is allowed and so is real pictures! Also put "DEZ NUTS" at the bottom of your CS if you read the rules.

IC Rules

• Let's keep this going!
• No superman cursing, okay? That is totally not descriptive, anyway what I mean is don't curse with every sentence; for example "I fucking hate this piece of shit soup that tastes like ass!" No, no, and no. I will kick you in the face if you do this...okay I won't kick you in the face, but I will warn you to refrain from doing this again.
• No automatic hits!
• No walking away from a battle unscathed! If you do this I might have my character stab yours...
• I love drama, so feel free to be a drama queen (IN THE IC)!
• I love romance, but if it gets past that stage of acceptableness then fade to black or go to PM's. No smut in this RP.
• No God-Moding.
• Because I know many people who have disliked character death, I am keeping it out of this RP. However, your character can become severely injured to where they need healing.
• No character has the power of healing! Only wizards do, and there is like four of them. Merlin being the only known one, but his actual body is in a tower and his only communication to him is through dreams.

Many do not know that when she was at last free from the clutches of her Stepmother and Stepsister's that she was given a choice upon whether to have them banished or freed. Being who she was and recalling her father's words she had them set free and told them she would show them the grace and mercy they never wished for her to have.

Back in the Fairytale world , she was referred to as one of the kindest and most gentle of Queen's the land had been graced with.

Was an outstanding rider and could tame any horse and or beast brought her way.

Has a magnificent singing voice that she no longer uses in the real world due to the fact the times she tried it made her unknowingly sad and feel without something.

In the New World , She is a Bartender in a small town bar where she has become greatly known as a complete , Ice Queen.

In the bar once , a bar fight broke out and she took all twelve down without weapon in hand and with but a mere scratch or two to her cheeks.
