Taking the bowl from her hands, Talhad nodded. He wasn't expecting something like that from Celeste, but seeing as she seemed to accept the new rules of her life, maybe it was bad of him to be surprised by this. After all, she did come here with him and except for a small disagreement, the journey went well so far. The man looked at the bowl and felt his stomach squeeze itself a little. He should probably leave the rest of the meal to Celeste, but the girl was right - he was hungry. Instead of gobbling down the goulash, Talhad ate it slowly, swallowing every tiny bit. "Avari, then. It's a good name. We should rest today and leave the town tomorrow - unless I find some work here, we need more money. You should sleep, Avari, but before that-" Talhad licked the spoon and placed the bowl on the nightstand, standing up. The fireplace was dirty, and hasn't been used for ages, but someone kept bringing small logs into the room. The knight took one and placed it on the floor near Celeste. The wood was old, and quite soft. "Take the dagger and try to pierce it as much as you can." All he wanted to see was how weak - or strong - Celeste really was.
