Wane watched the other side, waiting to see a huge swarm of human military heading for them. He swished his tail uneasily, looking at Avonin. "We can still keep watch and fortify the walls. Got anything in mind?" he asked, "The elders said if there was anything we could do to protect the forest that we should do so" he padded over to a tree and scaled it up to the lowest branch, sitting in a crouch as he gazed upon the forest. "It's going to be a tough job"

The city square just below the castle wall was crowded with hordes of the Mayhem soldiers, all bearing deadly weapons and standing ready for battle. Anne gazed from the side at the span of people covered the expanse. She looked up, high above them stood her father, King Lionel Augustus Vancouver. His booming voice resonated through the wide courtyard, speaking of victory and becoming the one true power against their enemies. After his courageous speech, the regal, brown-bearded man stepped back, allowing his military strategist to lecture the troops in the art of war.
Anne stepped out of the courtyard, making her way down the mountain and out of the castle walls, she stared at the other side, seeing the forest far away. She gripped her sword, she would slip into the ranks of the Mayhem, and figure out how she could ease the damage that would be dealt. But most importantly, in the fray of battle, she would meet face to face with the enemy.
Hopefully they won't be an enemy for long.
