EMBER
Kasai awoke to the sound of his alarm blaring into his ears, every beep growing louder and more obnoxious. Soon or later either the clock or Kasai's patients was going to break, and unfortunately for the clock it did. He smashed it to bits with his foot constantly crashing his foot against it until it was just rubble of plastic and wires. Kasai took his time moving around, he may have been given a second chance in his life; however, he felt like his life was meaningless, he took another persons chance to get in. Kasai packed everything he ever had been given his entire life. A black robe, a casual group of clothes, dress clothes, and a photograph of him and his two friends. He looked down at the picture. Remembering the memories of the past, not the bad ones that haunt him still but the ones truly happy ones he created with his friends from the gang. True happiness was something Kasai wish he could feel more often than crippling anxiety and depression that he tries to fight against. Checking the clock Kasai realized he was running late, the ship was about to take off the with out him. Dashing out the door Kasai sprinted as fast as he could to the docks. Fortunately they were there still and he made it inside.
"Alright Beacon Academy here I come."
Kasai wandered around the ship looking at the other students that he will be attending with. Most of them looked like they knew each other or were just friendly to one another. He was jealous that people can just be so open with themselves and could just befriend about anyone. Kasai sighed and stood by a window looking into this distance, waiting until someone might come to him or he reaches his destination.

After some assistance, Aegis managed to escape the confines of the netting, but doing so only gave her less time to reach their destination. The question of whether or not she needed help with her shield was resolved easily enough, mostly with the girl breathing out, "No time, need to go." Picking up her shield with the effort one took picking a leaf off the ground, she made a mad dash towards the air ship. She felt kind of bad leaving that girl behind after she had helped Aegis and that one weird guy out, but she absolutely had to make it to that ship.

After all the troubles she had reaching this location, all the inconveniences she had put on her family to support her dream, and after finally deciding on a path for herself, she would not let this end before it began. Thankfully, she could see the air ship and its doors still opened, giving her the briefest bit of of relief. "Just stay open a bit longer..." At least now, if they did try to close them, she could always try and prop it open by throwing her shield at the ship...of course, that might also make another opening if she missed. It was probably best if she didn't have to resort to that.

Reaching the entrance, Aegis shoved her shield in first, making the first thing others would see a massive wall of metal entering the ship.

Airships
Nata was sort of stunned by Aegis's refusal for help. She decided not to take it personally, because they both were late for the line. As Aegis started to Sprint to the airships, so did Nata. She got there a few people behind Aegis, and was pretty doubtful they would leave while people were still in line and there was room on the ship.
Nata entered the ship and took it all in. Ah, the smell of public transport! It wasn't too different from her home's vehicles, but it looked different. She sat in the center of the airship floor, disregarding the other people on the ship and where they were standing. She just started up, inspecting the interior of the ship.
Suddenly, gasps from other passengers could be heard as the ships approached Beacon. From the window, a beautiful view of the building could be seen. Nata ran to the nearest window and caught a glimpse before being shoved out of the way by others trying to see. She thought that it was a beautiful sight to see at least once, and returned to her original position in the center of the floor. She remained there for a while.

Inside the ship everyone would find that it was huge and had plenty of seating and standing space. On lift off everyone was asked to be seated for take off and told that they would be informed when they could stand. Most of the students were quiet during takeoff, butterflies filling their stomachs as they wondered about Beacon, but it all passed as the engines fired and the airship had left solid ground. Once they reached a few thousand feet in the air the captains voice boomed and holographic screens buzzed to life showing the news. A symphony of seat belts began to play as students stood up to look out the airship and talk with friends.

The news was talking about some topics that might interest a few on the ship. A warehouse had been burned down a few weeks ago and a blurry image of the culprit formed on a separate screen next to the speaker. After rambling on about what happened at the warehouse a 3 second transition overlapped the newsman before he was shown again and talking about a dead body behind a bar. This time there was no image, but tons of information on the suspect. The news was then shut off to show this woman's head staring at all of you.

"Greetings, new students. I am a part of the staff at Beacon Academy. Name's Aiko and you will be seeing me a lot so, get used to my face.
But, besides that I have come to greet and inform you as you will all be landing soon."

To no surprise Beacon was within firing distance and the students could choose to bask at it instead of listen to the woman. Tama was one of those that decided to ignore her.

"When you land, it is important that you gather your weapons and leave your belongings like bags and trunks. Those items you leave behind will be stored until you are assigned rooms. After, grabbing your things head to the theater. You can find the map to Beacon on your scrolls. It will point out what you have access to. Right now it's a little restricted, but as we go on it will expand."

Invidar stuffed his hand into his pocket and pulled out a white device. It had round edges, was no thicker than a sheet of paper, felt like metal, was white, and had a golden diamond in its center. Invidar tapped this diamond and the two thin slices of white metal separated to show a holographic screen with the Beacon map downloading.

"Neat..."

"Now, behave well or you will spend a detention with me and be forced to clean the halls. Bye!"

The airships began to land and everyone was asked to be seated once more. There was a lot of commotion as people found places to sit, not really caring for being near friends or not. A sea of clicks crashed twice in time it took them to land. Those that listened to Aiko would have left there bags and taken their weapons to the theater, those like Tama that didn't would just mimic what the populace was doing or wander off. Tama observed what was going on and followed along. Having no bags he just took his weapons with him and followed the congregation of noobies to the theater. Invidar on the other hand had listened and made off with haste to the theater.

The headmaster was leaning against her desk and had her arm cocked back with a tennis ball in hand. Her other hand held Javelin, an elegant Katana blade. Her name was Crimson, but the machine knew this already. Crimson tossed the ball at the wall and then quickly swung her sword and extending its length with a magical overlay of another blade. The ball bounced down this blade and back into her hand.

"Oh, you're here? It's simple why I called you here really. I want you to teach semblance this year. I know you don't have one, but doesn't mean you can't teach others how to use theirs, just means it'll be a bit harder. Take it as a challenge."

Crimson then started bouncing the ball up and down and the magical projection vanished. Slowly she would sheath the blade at her side.

"Can you?"

Landings
Nata had followed the ways of the crowd as soon as the airships took off, but anytime she could she went back to her spot in the middle. She would occasionally smile to the people who went by and they gave her weird looks. The occasional person even tripped over her. She was willing to make friends but most everyone seemed to have found someone or were anit-social.

When the face of Aiko appeared, it caught Nata off guard. She bumped into her over-sized bag, knocking it over. She caught it before the top hit the floor, but one of the bags ripped and her books spilled all over the floor. There was quite an assortment but most of them were adventure or comic books. Nata sighed and began to pick them up, hoping no one noticed and was too concerned about Aiko's instructions. She was listening too, even as she collected her books.

Nata moved the piles to a nearby seat, along with her bags and herself. She sat down and buckled in, somewhat embarrassed. She put a buckle on her books too so they would stay in place too. When they finally got off, Nata left her bags and books and brought her weapon with her. She was hesitant to leave her belongings though, because she didn't trust people with her stuff. She would've carried it herself but it would be awkward to do that.

She filed in with the others, trying to find a possible familiar face. She saw Tama, who she almost missed, and followed him in. She was curious on who this person was, and why the two people were falling from the sky. She remained behind him, somewhat hoping he wouldn't notice until they were in their places in the crowd.

Something's Got to Give
Michael

He was no stranger to flying, but why? He could never remember being on an airship before. Certainly not a public one. Why? Was it that random, misplaced memory? For another reason, the barcode on the back of his neck itched, and he scratched said itch. Unlike many others, he did not unfasten his seat belt and move about the cabin. Part of it was he had no desire to move about and meet the others onboard.

He paid attention to the newscast, before it was cut off by a broadcast from Beacon. Michael was glad to see they were supplied with maps, but he did not pay much attention to that fact. A map was not the territory after all.

Suddenly, he was mobbed by people looking out the window next to him. He grabbed for his rifle, carefully protecting it so that these people didn't damage the carefully tuned barrel harmonics of the weapon, not to mention the delicate scope. As everyone sat down again, he made an effort to keep his distance from the stranger. As the aircraft landed, he waited for all others to depart before he made his way off.

With the long rifle over his shoulder again, and leaving the duffle behind. Most of his reloads were in there, and he would be more than pissed if they were tampered with. He stayed on the fringes of the crowd, watching his environment for any hidden threats. While most others gawked at the beauty of Beacon, he searched for the evil in its shadows. A nice spot on the wall beckoned to him in the theater, and he gladly took up a spot against it.

Meteor Landing
Allyson

While they had been chased to seats, Ally did not buckle in. A show of defiance, but that was her life. She felt the need to defy the laws to defy the monster she was. What was anyone going to do? She was a huntress, going to Beacon. And she almost stood up and claimed the kill when she heard about it on the news broadcast. But that would give the authorities more than she wanted.

She got up to stretch before they were allowed to, to the glares of others. For that measure, she walked around the cabin. Listening in on other conversations, she quickly built personalities off of these overheard exchanges. Once the general public were released, she walked the perimeter of the cabin. Then she tripped over the body of a laying girl. However, she wasn't mad, just annoyed.

"Most people don't lay down in the middle of the floor," she observed, looking at the girl before returning to her seat. She looked out the window, paying attention to the broadcast. Leave her bags? She quickly leaned down and rifled through it's contents. She grabbed all of the arrows she could and closed it again.

Once they landed, she was near the front of the crowd in making her way out. Ally looked up and marveled at the beauty of Beacon, but wondered what lurked, just out of sight. She made her way into the dark theater for the beginning of the orientation to Beacon.

New Flames
After a few minutes while on the airship people were watching the news, some report about a dead body found behind a bar, nothing out of the ordinary for Kasai. The T.V then changed to a rather young looking girl. She was part of the Beacon staff, was telling instructions towards everyone on the ship.

"You look like one of us, but some how you're a staff member? God people these days, can't even tell what's normal anymore."

Kasai dropped his bag and looked around the room. Most of the students now gathering their weapons. He picked up his chakrams and looked at them. Oh the memories. They my not be as fancy as the other weapons that the other students have, but they're just as deadly. Kasai threw them over his back and waited for the ship to land.

Soon enough it did land and everyone swarmed towards the exits. Smart enough not to be crushed to death he laided back and waited for the stampede of teenagers to calm down. Kasai took trailed behind the crowd, and keeping to himself. The group ended up at the theater for some kind of orientation. Kasai found a open seat and sat down, placing his chakrams under him.

Start-Up
Khloe had witnessed the energy blade whiz into the nearby wall and then vanish into thin air. "My, what wonderful semblance you have their Headmaster." She had seen a similar semblance before, but it had not dealt with extending the blade or with energy, but molding the metal in a blade. A villain she had met back then, not one to talk about but she threw the memory away in her head. Then she heard something about teaching the exact thing she had nothing of.

"Well, it will be difficult, as I do not have a semblance of my own. That being said, I will be missing one crucial aspect of the course myself. Knowledge of it can be taken into my memory banks though, and I can do what you ask, even with that difficulty over my shoulders" Khloe explained in reply. It was not hard to figure out semblance for Khloe, but what it was, was being able to sympathize with students about owning a semblance. Life would be difficult. An internal sigh is necessary for later, that is for sure.
Shakedown
Tlilpotonqui had been silently making his way over to the docks, to take care of a little situation with the dust components necessary for the project he was working on. Simply put, he called the project, PROJECT W. That way it was easy to remember as he went around collecting necessary pieces of components, scrap, and dust that he needed. Looking around as he had made it to a fence, he found he wouldn't be spotted. He then waved his right hand in an arch shape in the large fence, separating the fence's metal particles, fit enough for him to move through it. This way it would make an ideal look for someone larger to come in and steel the components. It didn't take much to do, but he moved on through to take on whatever he may face.

Using his wings he gave himself a short burst of air underneath him as he jumped. It only boosted his jump giving him the ability to jump up onto the top of a freight crate. This seemed somewhat easy already, but Tlilpotonqui continued on as he dashed forward. With each step he used his semblance, making the metal become almost easy for him to not make a sound. Though their was a light sound, instead of it sound like heavy thuds, it sounded like light taps. Sadly this only worked on a few kinds of metals: sheet metal, aluminum, and thin steel, and any kind of skinny metal pole as it was thin enough to use his semblance on like this.

Tlilpotonqui had then came across his Intel specified area, a cross way in the docks where a marked freight crate of a dust company would be. It was a Schnee Dust Co. logo, and it seemed to be the right area to look for his dust components. These dust component's were canisters of red dust for fuel, and some other dust, electric yellow dust to help run some of the systems in the machine he was making. But something seemed off, especially since there were White Fang members crawling all over the place. "Damn hounds don't seem to understand that other people need dust too" Tlilpotonqui had cursed. He wasn't really a fan of the White Fang, but the up and coming Black Talon would be here to take over soon, if anything could be helped. So Tlilpotonqui dropped down behind one of the freight crates, staying in hiding from the White Fang members as best as he could. Then he felt something, even more off, a dark sense around the area, "This sense seems almost soulless."

His days always started slow. They didn't start late-- he awoke with the earliest riser in the organization, which was to say at the crack of dawn. The early risers tended to prepare themselves quickly and leave early to do their duties. He would follow them in their rituals to a point, being of aid when he could, otherwise just providing company, a gentle reminder of steps they may have forgotten. He'd awake from his cage... The air in the mornings were cold, it always bit at his nose and clung to his skin. He always waited for the sun to warm the ground some before he braved the world.

It was part of his own private ritual. So many steps he'd learned in his life of suffering...and causing it, things designed to keep him healthy in body and mind. Ever since he was young, still on his mother's teat, he'd practiced certain techniques. It was an act of balance, an equalizer. He stuck to routine as often as he could, an upstart threatened much worse than a bad start to a day. Since before birth he'd suffered from a debilitating condition, something that made him different from his rambunctious little comrades. If they could even be called that. The White Fang were a lot of things...comrades were not one of them when he thought about it.

The wolfs heart beat differently than others if at all. He'd known this almost as soon as he began to have conscious thought. His mother was a rock, her heart beat was steady and slow. As early as he could remember, he could remember sinking into the sound of it, wrapping himself in the comfort of her life-giving breath. Even now, he took every opportunity that presented itself to fall asleep with his head cradled against her bosom. The thought of seeming childish never entered his mind.

Each morning he sank into himself the way he had sunk into his mother. His breathing grew slow, controlled. Each breath was deep, filling his chest cavity to capacity. He held his breath for several seconds before slowly exhaling, looking inward. His heart beat was hollow... but still powered his body. The beats were slow...blank...and cold, the sound not as deep and robust as he yearned it to be. There was a slosh, always a worry, blood leaking from where it was meant to be. Every morning he felt unsettled. his heart was cold and the blood that ran through his veins was made of ice...but he would not let that change him. Not in the slightest.

And as he pulled himself back to reality Skoll's bright eyes wandered over the scientist sitting just ahead of him in the airship...Ouroboros taking him to the docks to meet with The White Fang...it was going to take several hours and odds were they would not arrive until night. He was ok with this...and as the hours passed he was soon informed that they would be landing in a few minutes.

"13...Remember why you are here...You are The White Fangs new asset, you're concern is not for their struggle...or for their people. You're concern is their enemies. Protect their territory...protect their people...and destroy their enemies. That is you're mission."

His mother explained to him simply while adjusting the collar wrapped around his neck...Skoll tilted his head and nodded briefly...so he was simply an attack dog? Skoll could live with this...it was...fitting to say the least. And as the ship touched down at the docks he could hear the chatter and footsteps from outside the ship...The White Fang quickly gathering, curious as to who these mysterious strangers were. Apparently they had stirred up the hornets nest.

Skoll soon stood up from his seat and stuffed his hands into his pocket...the door to the back of the ship slowly opening and revealing Skoll standing at the top of the ramp...The White Wolf was introduced to his new allies...those who wore the faces of monsters...how cute. If only they knew that a real monster stood just before them...

Skoll glared at each of them...walking off the ship casually and dismissing their existence quickly...it seemed there were not current hostiles in the area, thus he had little reason to concern himself with what they thought of him. He knew that they were thinking...who is he? what is he doing here? And other questions they need concern themselves with at the moment. His bright blue eyes wandered over the docks for a moment...taking in the large number of stolen merchandise they had in their possession. Out of curiosity, Skoll wandered around the outskirts of the docks...checking out the perimeter of what he would be defending. And as he checked the fences to the docks, his eyes quickly caught sight of...what seemed to be a feather on the floor...Skoll made a face at this. Figuring that birds could of been hanging around...but this feather was far to large. Leaning down and picking up and examining it, the white wolf rubbed it under his nose and inhaled it's scent...closing his eyes and taking it in.

The feathers scent was...odd. Normally birds scented of woods, dampness...typically scent of things that are of high altitude. This feather had a very large number other small traceable scents that were relatable to that of a human. Or in this case...Faunas...

Skoll's eyes snapped open. Dropping the feather and growling deeply as he circled around the fence and headed back inside...making his way through the docks collection of crates and quickly catching that scent again...Skoll narrowed his eyes tightly...someone was hiding behind a crate. It seemed that they did have a trespasser...Skoll jumped on top of the crate and landed without the slightest of sounds...walking to the other side of the crate quietly and looking down at the...'stealthy' thief. Those bright, piercing eyes stared down at Tlilpotonqui...oh he hoped this guy had a good excuse because what happened next would result in one of two things.

One Man Wrecking Crew
Tlilpotonqui had heard some slight metallic noises being made, but where were they coming from. Tlilpotonqui looked around, trying to figure it out. There wasn't anyone in the aisle of the crates, so was it up. As Tlilpotonqui looked up and around, he then noticed Skoll, glaring directly at him. This was strange, no one just sat and glared. Tlilpotonqui did not find this being in front of him to be friendly though. He found Skoll to be menacing in a sense, but not really a threat, then again, he never knew what the being was capable of either. So he took caution, waiting to see what the being would do.

He took this time to over look it's natural energy. "Odd. Your energy, it's as if there is hardly any whatsoever. There must be or else you wouldn't be a living being with such skill to sneak around and find me" Tlilpotonqui analyzed Skoll. The energy was sparingly there, as if it were half there and half not. This was more strange than anything he had seen before, "What are you?"

Tlilpotonqui had reached for Eon, which was lying on his back waist with Orion, and aimed it directly at Skoll. This being was not normal, as he could see Faunus, but what else. The soul of Skoll was what had given this energy, if he even had a soul that was. It was hard to determine for Tlilpotonqui, what this thing was. Was he part Grimm somehow? No, it was impossible, but the only way to find out was to fight. So, Tlilpotonqui had pulled Eon's trigger, firing a black dust gravity bullet at Skoll.

It did not seem to take the lad very long to look up and simply stare at the white haired faunas as Skoll looked down at him unflinchingly. However, what happened next made Skoll cock his brow slightly...apparently the stranger quickly started to rattle on about Skoll's energy, making rather...accurate guesses at what made him who he was. Skoll had to admit, he was rather curious as to how the hell he could 'read' his energy as if he were some kind of fortune teller of aura sensor but frankly the blue eyed beast had little concern for it...nor did it particularly matter. And when the thief asked 'what are you' Skoll frowned and tilted his head as if to silently say 'Really dude?'. As if he could tell just by a quick glance that he could see Skoll was not entirely faunas...he may not of had the leading intelligence of his mother or scientist, but even he was starting to question a few things. Was this thief's semblance allowing him the ability to see his energy? Was it his aura? Perhaps Skoll was overlooking something.

Skoll simply scoffed at the thief. Looking him up and down and taking in the gear he had on hand...two weapons it seemed. It appeared he was a fighter of some sort, comparable to those within the Beacon Academy and other schools for huntresses and hunters. But clearly lacked the honor and 'good guy' image. And the second he went to reach for his weapons, Skoll just as quickly lost interest. Turning his back on the thief and walking back to the other side of the crate...when the thief went to unsheathe his weapons and aim them, he would soon find that the gunshot flew by Skoll's head, who a second later was already gone. Hopping off the crate and looking at one of the white fang patrols who were doing their rounds around the crates, Skoll grabbed them by the face and mushed them towards where he had just come from, growling deeply and pointing to the thief...the gunshot making it obvious where he came from as the rest of the White Fang rushed over.

Skoll then stuffed his hand back into his pocket as they all rushed to the thief's location. Wandering back to his ship as his 'mother' spoke to some officials of The White Fang. She immediately looked at him with a stern look and then back at the commotion behind him. Sighing deeply and placing a hand on her hip.

"Skoll...what did you just do?" She asked demandingly, tapping her foot impatiently. Skoll merely blinked and shrugged innocently, not particularly doing anything considering he didin't take any violent action yet...she...did explain that he was to not make a bad impression just yet. Getting into a scrap with a single petty thief upon landing did not seem like the first impression she desired anyway...so he'd let the others take care of him first...and if they needed help...then perhaps he'd step in.

She could only imagine the stares she must have gotten...if she could only see anything past her shield. Considering its size, it was obvious that it wasn't going to fit nicely in any overhead compartment or under her seat, so she had resigned herself to placing it in front of her, obstructing her view of anything in particular and vice verse to those who might have caught the bizarre sight. Thankfully, all of the important information she might have needed could have be heard, prompting her with withdraw her scroll and glance over what hadn't been set to restricted for the time being.

...theater, dorms, intimidating teachers, detention?

"Yep...definitely a school..." She said to herself as they were given their directions. Despite her stoicism keeping her from showing it (not that it mattered with the whole "shield-obstructing-view" bit), Aegis was excited. She could finally prove her worth to the world.

Waiting until she could determine that no one was in the aisle next to her, the girl stood up and navigated her shield and herself out of her seat and out of the airship.

Tama being the kind of guy he was noticed her almost immediately, but she was staying quiet and close. It was obvious to him that she had developed a sense of familiarity with him. He took his hat off and then lightly placed it on Nata's head with the aid of his semblance.

"I'm not sure I got your name miss. I was in a bit of a rush back there. I am Tama."

Tama walked with a long stride and his hands in his pockets. His back arched backwards and his eyes were at a squint almost.

"Oi, actually I've got a more important question... What are we supposed to be doing right now?"

Tama turned his head just slightly so that Nataa could see the side of his face. Invidar was closing in fast and walked past them clinging to his rifle. Invidar just wanted to be in the theater fast as possible so he could get this over with. "Idiots..."

"Someone is a bit crabby..."

Nata was taken aback when Tama's hat levitated onto her head. She was surprised, well, not really, that Tama noticed her presence. Stealth wasn't her strong suit, even if she always won hide and seek back home.

"Oh! My name is Nata... and we are on our way to the theater. I thought you knew that. I was following the person in front of me because I'm not too sure what direction the theater is actually." she said, half-truthfully. She was Nata and they were on the way to the theater but she followed behind for a reason. She didn't really know where the theater was either, so it was closer to three-fourths truthful.

As Indvar went past, Nata tried to make herself smaller. It was an instinct to make room for someone else to go past to avoid conflict in public. She looked at him as he went by and dropped an insult, a look that said "what did I do?"
"
I'll say. Anyway, I hope we are going the correct way. Is there a map of the school available?" she said, with a concerned look on her face.

Tlilpotonqui had grunted in anger about missing his shot with the, well he didn't know what Skoll was. Why was this sudden character like this, and why did it give Tlilpoto who the instinct to fight him too. Was it fear, want to be better, want of darkness, maybe more? Tlilpotonqui had known that something was wrong with Skoll but he didn't know what it could be, but sooner or later he would find out. Then White Fang members came running to find him, their bodies armed to the teeth to fight Tlilpotonqui, maybe even kill. Tlilpotonqui had rolled his eyes as the men charged at him with swords.

As one man had swung their sword, but Tlilpotonqui parried with his left wing, then riposted with Eon by blasting away the White Fang member, making others begin to hesitate. One spoke up, "Don't just stand there, let's get him!" The group charged at Tlilpotonqui again, not the best idea. The winged young man had pulled out Orion, and used the blades attached to his sawed off rifles, and clashed them with their swords, taking out one at a time. He swung his wings as if they were blades when he got the chance as well, but when the White Fang members had swung at him, he blocked with a parry. This caused the attention of more of White Fangs members, and they began to surround him aiming rifles and hand guns at him. This is not good, Tlilpotonqui had thought to himself.

She could hear the clomping of her clunky boots as Aegis stepped out of the airship and onto the welcoming dock, her eyes taking in the sights and her hands idly fingering the straps that now held the shield on her back like a backpack. A sense of relief to have finally arrive and the anxiety of the unknown stirred within, only to be briefly dismissed with a deep breath and exhale. Taking mind of her surroundings once more, she took a glance around her and saw those who were also arriving, each one of them burdened with their own worries and ambitions. Some might have came from prestigious families with grand and rich histories and the thought alone made her feel like some small-town hick despite her own family's history of weaponsmithing. Of course, she was unaware of those who probably gawked at her "weapon". While shields were not uncommon, most weapons nowadays were small and compact, or at least could transform into something more portable, while here she was, lugging around a massive sheet of metal that nearly encompassed her form.

Deciding to finally get the lead out, she reached into her holster and withdrew her scroll, opening it in order to get some idea of where to go. According to that "Aiko" girl (or woman? Aegis couldn't tell), they were meet at the theater for presumingly the orientation assembly. Why they needed their weapons and not their other belongings didn't make sense, but Aegis wasn't going to bother to try and connect any dots. Finally determining a route, she gave a small little nod before trodding forth, figuring she would go with the flow for now and just enjoy the experience.

Nata followed the crowd with Tama, unaware of what turns and directions they took but stayed silent, no scroll of her own. There was no way she would be able to find her way back out of the school. She was confused on what hallway they were in, and wasn't even sure the crowd was headed the correct way. She gripped the handle of her weapon, a nervous habit of hers. She didn't want to think about not being able to find her way out, but the nerves were finally getting to her. She had been confident before! 'What happened?' she asked herself.

If she were randomly set in front of a crowd of people on a stage, she wouldn't even be nervous. But now she was in a crowd of people, putting her trust in all of them to lead her the right way. What was the matter with that? Nata never knew if one person were to suddenly flip out and cause trouble, or they were being led the wrong way and everyone would get into trouble.

Despite her lack of trust, Nata continued with the crowd. A gasp of relief slipped away from her when the group finally filed into large doors into a spacious room, the auditorium. She stayed close to Tama, who was the only person she had talked to other than the dozens of people who she apologized to because they accidentally stepped on her on the ship. She didn't want to bother him though, because she felt that if she opened her mouth while she was nervous, a whole bunch of nothing would start spilling out of it and reveal her nervousness.

"Map? I don't think. Maybe it's on our scrolls? Boy that would suck. I left mine on the ship."

Tama hadn't turned to face the girl, but just spoke louder to be sure she heard him. Tama continued to follow the crowd. He remained silent, until they started to funnel through tall, black, and narrow doors. He grew impatient as the hundreds of students shuffled through. Using one hand he shouted out over everyone to see what was going on.

"Hey, what's the hold up!"

Receiving no response, but the annoyed pause of an invisible Invidar heading through the double doors, Tama crossed his arms and continued to wait.

"This sucks."

Invidar looked at everything as he walked through the doors. The massive student body, the short headmaster, and the tiny theater she stood on. It was truly a disappointment to him.

"This is nothing like I thought it would be, but then again... It's better than the alternative."

Squishing into the crowd, Invidar stood with his hands in his pockets and a hunch in his back.

Arrivals
Khloe had watched the crowds of students coming through, and had decided to join them. It was her job as a teacher to watch over the students, so she tried to figure out what was going on with the stopping of the students. So she scanned the area, seeing that they were just having trouble getting through the doors. "Well isn't this nice"

She then noticed Tama and Nata right behind her, hearing Tama's voice as loud as it was. "It's just having to get through the doors is all, no worries everyone shall be in soon" Khloe had commented. Khloe then smiled as she looked forward it wasn't going to be long before she would get to address herself as a new professor at Beacon.

"Yo."

Miss Aiko's voice boomed over everyone in the theatre. She stood with her hand on her hip and was just barely taller than the mic she was using. Her other hand was shaking, her staff in hand, with emotion as she looked to the side and spoke with a non-audible voice.

"So, I'm in charge now... no other way. It's all because of you insolent little brats! If I- Ahem..."

Aiko fixed the collar on her neck and closed her eyes taking a deep breath. Then with a snap of her fingers a little bat like creature floated over to her from across the room carrying a piece of paper. She was rubbing her temple with one hand as she waited for it to make its way over to her and land. The bat was moving extremely slow and when it did make it to Aiko it seemed extremely tired. Aiko plucked the paper from its mouth and then leaned over to the mic with her eyes still concentrated on the paper.

"So, this is a letter from your headmaster. It basically just says that I am in charge. In addition to that we will not be undergoing exams at this time... great still got some time to torture you all before you fail. Oh. Said that aloud? Whatever. Your schedules will be given to you in just a moment and finally..."

Aiko smiled as she red the last bit of it. While she was grinning ear to ear, everyone's scroll would update showing they had a schedule on it. Beacon was not as strict on following laws as it seemed. When all the beeps went off Aiko looked up and finished reading the contents of the letter.

"Oh, this is good. It seems that some of you have been assigned cleaning duty for giving the Headmaster so much trouble. Don't worry I'll tell you why then you guys can gossip about these few all you like."

Aiko looked at the paper and laughed, trying to hold it in she turned around with mic.

"OK, OK. Listen to this; Due to a complaint about someone crushing his valuable ant farm, the school had to pay a fee of 500 dollars. We were unable to retrieve the footage before it was reviewed. Please inform Nata Greene to not step on any ants while she cleans the grounds. Now, that right there makes me fear for both of our species. The rest of you is stuff for assault, vandalism and disturbing the peace. Aegis Chrome and Tama Anaru a couple tens of apology letters are expected from each of you. Oh, we have a Lotus. Invidar you're expected at a meeting when the Headmaster returns and you have cleaning duty as well... Do we have more..."

Aiko flipped the paper around to search for more janitors. Meanwhile, gossip was already floating around about those who had been mentioned already. One could have sworn fire burned in her eyes when she read the next bit.

"It appears we have an idiot here who burned down a warehouse. Congrats Kasai Akiyama. You get the honor of cleaning the furnace along with the rest of the grounds. Finally, Amber Gray. Your father didn't like your attitude and requested that you be assigned to cleanup duty too."

Aiko then dropped the paper into her little bat friend's mouth and walked off stage. Later that day while everyone had finally figured out that it would be okay to leave the stage, Aiko's voice boomed over the speakers.

"Three hours. You all sat in there for three hours. Ridiculous. Anyway, orientation begins as soon as Crimson returns from her trip. Be ready. I suggest our janitorial department starts practicing combat with mops and brooms. I don't see how any of you will get free time. Dorms are co-ed, so I don't care where you sleep for now. Have a nice school year or year."

Everyone's scrolls then buzzed. Maps were updated with the janitor's closet, bathrooms, library, lunch room, dorms, and training rooms. There was a bath house, but it said girls only.
