I'm so glad you've extended the grace period for archiving posts. I'm a very slow player for my onexones, and it stresses me out thinking of my threads being archived or having to post when I'm not ready to keep it from going to the graveyard. No idea why the thought of having it archived makes me so anxious when I can just request to have it taken out. :<
This anxiety is pretty common, which is why we decided to extend it!
And for serious questions: Does this in any way pertain to violence? Cause I've seen some avatars that...man. Shudder. I mean... I know y'all don't want censorship, but I'm pretty sure decapitated bloody neckstumps and intensely gorey zombies classify as NSFW too...
Dammit, I knew I was forgetting something. Gore is not USUALLY the problem, although we have had a couple fiascos like cats in blenders. *Grimaces* Yes, we do rarely enforce this with gore or things like drug use. For clarity's sake, I'll get this written up...
Avatars and signatures may not contain any of the following:
- Violent death or mortal injury of a human or animal.
- Photographs/photorealistic artwork depicting graphic gore or decay of human or animal corpses.
- Large amounts of blood/gore.
- Drug paraphernalia such as bongs. Visible drug use.
When posting to the site
including the Star sections, images containing violent imagery and drug use are allowed, but use of spoilers and/or clear warnings (e.g., in the title of a thread or as a thumbnail in the Gallery) is advised for anything that is judged questionable by the poster. All members reserve the right to report an image they personally find questionable. If the reported image does not comply with standards for avatars and signatures, the poster will be required to use spoilers, a thumbnail, or a warning.
I'll edit this into the first post shortly.
And for
@Snowball and others who might want to know:
Written discussion of violence, illegal drug use, and other illegal activities is allowed
except for discussion that aids in committing illegal acts, such as disclosure of where to obtain illegal drugs or sharing of pirating resources/illegitimate streaming sites, or indicates premeditated and explicit intent to commit violence on others or oneself (threats of assault, murder, suicide, and self-harm).
This does not apply to roleplays or works of fiction, only to out of character discussion.
Also... The prepubescent sexually suggestive thing? Does this include those girls/boys-posing-suggestively-while-looking-like-children anime pics. Like... Skirts blowing up/pin-up poses etc? Gives me brain lice, those pictures.
Yes. If the character cannot pass as at least thirteen (have to give some leeway, thanks to anime and the fact that baby faces and small breasts do exist) and the image is sexually suggestive, it is prohibited to post anywhere on the site.
Obviously, nude or sexual
photographs of anyone under 18 is
illegal child pornography. So is explicit sexual artwork of prepubescent characters. Your instant Iwaku ban will be the least of your problems if you post either of these.
