I haven't had a broken nose, just arm and foot. My cousin broke her nose once.

Washroom as in bathroom? As in shower? If so I have gone a day or two without showering because with depression anything can become a hassle or not matter....

It should be noted I'm strongly against physical discipline on children.

Picking them up/moving them elsewhere sure.
Holding onto them if they're trying to run about when on a time out or refusing to talk about something, sure.
But any form of striking is something I am dead against.
