My Hero Academia: Future

Kobura Kan
Red electricity began to gather around Kobura legs, he had finally decided what he should do next. Nothing he says to the reporters would likely improve his situation, so it was best he left the area as soon as possible. However, before he could jump a familiar octopus-lady suddenly appeared to bail him out, much to his relief. "I like it when problems solve themselves." he thought to himself as the tentacled nurse basically kidnaped him into her medical van. He would be lying if said he didn't enjoy hearing her berating those reporters that were pestering him earlier.

When the octo-lady mentioned her name, Kobura turned to face her to greet her properly. "Miss Abyss....it's good to see you again." Kobura was easily the student the visited the nurse the most, due to his tendency to cause self-injury both inside and outside of training. Some see it as a dedication to his work, while others view it as the reckless behaviour of a youngster who was too powerful for his own good. That being said, the results he produced could not be argued.

Kobura's gaze turns towards his bike, he seemed more concerned about his equipment rather than his own body parts. As the tentacles remove the pieces of armor, multiple needles could be seen being pulled own from various veins of Kobura's arms, revealing how the suit siphons his blood to be used as a power source. Many scars adorned the young man's arms, being the product of either training or showdowns with villains. Upon hearing her comments regarding the Nomu, Kobura finally decided to join the conversation.
"I saw an opportunity to test myself and took it. It's not every day you get to fight a Nomu, especially in this day and age." Kobura seemed pretty relaxed about the overall situation. "All kidding aside, that Nomu was just a lot stronger than it previously was," Kobura replied as he looked through the recorded data of Nomu one more time. He was somewhat surprised to be interrupted by a slap from one of the tentacles. From then onward, Kobura remained silent for the rest of the trip. Was he angry? Was he annoyed? Or did she accidentally knock him out? It was difficult to say.

As he got closer towards the school, Kobura had finally managed to get his bike in working condition and reequip his pieces of armor. The medical van had finally stopped, allowing the armored hero to exit the vehicle with his speed machine. And with that, he broke the silence. Kobura turned towards the nurse spoke.
"Thank you for healing me.... Your help and concerns are.... appreciated. I will do better next time. Goodbye, Miss Abyss" This was easily the most out of character he had been towards the nurse. Perhaps he really is trying to change himself for the better. The armored hero rode off towards his dorm without another word.

On his way towards the dorm, he noticed a few students on the field and immediately recognized them as the students he met earlier.
"Why does she have to do this every year?" He thought to himself as he stopped the bike. It was the same thing almost every year, this specific teacher tries her best to be next Aizawa or something. He laughs to himself before deciding that this was a good opportunity to make a "good impression". He strapped some bracelets and anklets to himself injecting himself with the safety medicine. "That should prevent any accidents." He said to himself before concentrating his strength into his feet, causing his signature red lightning to gather into his legs. A second later, Kobura propels himself upwards and forward, with a single jump, he closed the distance between himself and students in training. He performed what was called a "skidding superhero landing" whereby he achieves a three-point landing while also sliding across the ground slightly due to the strength of the momentum. The armored hero created a small crater upon landing.

"Yo." he greeted his kouhais once more. "Are you making them do that test thing again? Is there any way I can help? After all, it is my duty to help my fellow students." Kobura saidwith an uncharacteristically enthusiastic tone. He was of course secretly hoping to get a chance to fight some of them and maybe even become something like a mentor, but such desires shouldn't be exposed so easily. Besides that, he was also kinda bored since the third years had the day off today. The only reason he was out and about was because of the emergency.

Hotaru watched as the other small foreigner-looking girl arrived and swiftly caught up with everything. She seemed to be quite the blonde social butterfly, speaking to near everyone and fangirling just a tad. Her liveliness was probably warranted in a class like theirs were most people looked like they wanted to hide in a corner, and according to the tallest of the girls, that was fine so long as it wasn't the liveliness that gave her more work to do.

Watching Iona make the rounds, Hotaru idly listened in, though more out of boredom for the moment. She expected the oni and perhaps the gal to take some issue with what she said, though that wait was disrupted by another sudden appearance followed by a small yelp.

The source of the yelp was none other than the apathetic tomboy who now had a light tinge of pink on her cheeks from embarrassment as well as a scowl showcasing her disapproval.

"Dude, Meteorite-senpai! How about using your friggin' legs!" She remarked grumpily.

Who the hell would just crater into the ground next to them like that, Hotaru didn't know. Why was he even here? Wasn't he out on call? Did he finish already? They couldn't have been standing around outside for that long.

He didn't know what he was saying anymore. Of course things would be difficult in 1A. Well, what just started as him trying out the hero course brought him to this legendary class so he definitely had at least the talent to make it through, right? Only time would tell, at this point. "Ehh, can't say I have good fighting experiences when dealing with real situations. Pretty sure the entrance exams and such don't really count.", he spoke as he crossed his arms. He opened his mouth to say something else but a certain energetic introduction interrupted him. It was from one of the girls who didn't get to introduce herself earlier. "I do welcome a fellow nerd, hello.", he greeted with a wave. What was he about to say before that…? Eh, whatever.

"Something flashy, huh…?", he mumbled, repeating Hotaru's words. He wasn't sure how impressive hitting something would be but he definitely could do flashy. "Urgh, even then, I dunno how important being flashy actually is…"

As he realized how many people were joining in the conversation, Takeshi took a step back, removed his glasses and rubbed his eyes. Handling a few people in a conversation was fine but now it felt like the entire class was around him. Oh, scratch that, their armored senpai was suddenly there for some reason. "Where the hell did you even come from…!?", he let out as Kobura greeted everyone. "... and I don't like how you refer to it as 'that test'..."

The pale girl looked towards the blonde as she was receiving an apology for some earlier statement. A small smile appeared on her lips and she gave a nod in affirmation. "Yes," she answered simply, to show there was no ill will.

A spark of confusion and intrigue crossed her face. "You do?.." she mumbled. To hear someone had a poster of her mother as a hero - it was quite the shock! So this girl was a fan of her mother? Well, she knew Amaris was a prolific hero, but ever since Vitalis's birth.. or even before that, she had been out of the game. That was at least 15 years ago now. Wow, to think it has been that long.. Why would someone her age even know of Amaris, let alone be a fan of her?

Still, it made the young vampire happy to hear that. At least a part of her mother's legacy lived on. And she hadn't completely ruined it. Vitalis touched her chest.

Feeling like a need for a change in her mindset, Vitalis pulled out a small music device. She clipped it to her shorts, then put the earphones in delicately, and turned it on. Immediately the songs swept her away, and the small, melancholic goth girl began to jam out.

A tiny little grin appeared on her lips. Then she started swaying.

And in a very soft breath, couldn't help but start hum-singing along. The girl was so into it, she even started doing those adorable little hand signs from the opening alongside the words.

"♫Takanaru toko ni wa wasurezu fusen wo

It was like she was in her own little world, forgetting she was in the presence of others. While waiting for the teacher, Vitalis was listening to multiple of her favorite anime songs.

"♫Terasu wa yami bokura wa

Oh yes. Now she was pumped! Her mood had completely turned around. Now Vitalis was no longer nervous.

Isa Suguro & Mari Nakao

Isa Suguro Interactions: General

No sooner had one problem been dealt with and the girl tch'ing a bit and going off to do her own thing another had arrived with the blonde girl and the cat showing up to calm her down. Shrugging it off she looks at Iona and nods with a grin then looks over at the cat before backing off... But not before she gave a bit of a shot across the bow, sticking her tongue out and pulling down one eyelid with her middle finger as she gazed at the giant girl of the class that looked half asleep, Hotaru wasn't it?

"Heh how about I show you just how much of a Real fight I can give then! Tch.."

Then things rapidly spun out of control, first was the senior student dive bombing the group, seemed he was fast and next was Vitalis breaking out into song, giving the red man a thumbs up, her attention turns back towards the singing it seemed she could speak Japanese, very well in fact, so what in the hell was that earlier today? Clapping for her again, Isa grins.

"Well now, we got us a songbird ehh? And nice Job Kobura! Er well from what little I got ta see!"

Mari Nakao Interactions: General
It seemed this class would jump into one fire from another, never mind actually jumping OUT of a fire. It was then the short girl called Iona showed up and seemed to be trying to put things at ease with herself. Such help was appreciated. Watching the next introductions it almost seemed Isa was about to enter the fray but backed off.

"Ah. Opal is it? Or would you rather be called Hansson?"

Hansson? Hmm Opal would likely be the best thing to call her.. another foreigner?

"That is nice to hear from the two of you, maybe I should reconsider not staying in the dorms so we all may study together. I'm sure normal school studies will be part of this class as well, don't you?"

Letting her mind wander off for a brief instance, her eyes follow Iona as she turns away from them to check on the pale skinned one, Vitalis.. That sounded more fitting for a girl than calling her Alucard... In the case of the three westerners the given name would likely be the preference. She wouldn't be surprised if that held true for most of the class at some point.

It was then however her attention was fully and completely pulled away from the others as Kobura had shown up again, while still smiling outwardly, she started to ask many questions, largely consisting of various where, when, why and how's. His sudden surprise showing, dive bomb and eagerness had caught her by surprise, almost like he was a different man. This reminded her of dealing with politicians that would come to the house time to time, she however couldn't pin down why this bothered her, when suddenly the remaining westerner breaks out into song.

As her ears perk and follow the sounds she was also caught by surprise, yet another thing that didn't sit well with her. Was the girl playing them all for fools or was something more going on?

"My, I must agree what a lively melody."

Hideki Mitsuki
This day would be much different than really any day Hideki had ever had. Today would be the day that he started at the prestigious UA Academy. Today would be his first step on his path to becoming not only a great hero, but the best hero. This day would mark the beginning of Hideki finally being able to live up to his parents, but also not to fail like them. If they had been the best then they would still be alive. Hideki loved his parents, loved that people all around the Japan knew who they were. One thing that their deaths taught Hideki though was that to survive as hero you have to be the very best. There was no one that was going to get in his way of completing his goal and becoming the number one student at this school and then going on to become the number one hero.

First though Hideki, like everyone else would have to sit through this orientation meeting. It was being conducted by none other than the principal of their illustrious school Eraserhead or well Mr. Aizawa as the students would call him while he was at school and not working out in the field as a hero. The speech was interesting to say the least, but it did get Hideki pumped up. He came here to be the best and that was what Mr. Aizawa was expecting out of them. Hideki then looked down at his packet in front of him. He had already decided with his grandparents that he would be staying in the dorms. It would be good to get away from home and the reminders of his parents. It would be good for Hideki to go away to school and just focus on what he was there to do. So Hideki went and started filing out the form as fast as he could, the sooner he did that the sooner he could move in and then the sooner he could get down to business.

Soon more students started filing out of the auditorium and started to find their ways to their respective classrooms. Hideki was no different, as he looked through his packet he saw that he was in class 1A and promptly made his way over to his new classroom. The room that saw the likes of All Might, Best Jeanist, Deku and other great heros. Hideki was planning on being like them, but he was going to be even better. He was going to go beyond what they did , he figured he had to do that he didn't have a choice. If he wanted to live up to his parents he had to be better.

Soon the room was filled with students from all different walks of life. There were plenty of interesting characters it seemed like. Hideki ended up in a seat between two girls. On one side he had Hotaru Sunemizuki, she seemed to be kind of uninterested in this whole thing so far? Hideki couldn't really get a good read on her yet, she also seemed to dress way different than the other girls in class. Most people would call her a tomboy, Hideki figured that would be a good description, but he didn't really know her so how could he say anything. Then on the other side of him sat another girl this one named Isa Suguro, she was definitely different than Hotaru. Isa was energetic and was well how to put it, the best way to describer her would just be to say different. She also kind of looked like a devil which might make little kids scared, at least thats what Hideki thought, but again he didn't know her either so he couldn't really say. As the students started introducing them-sevles Hideki kept a low profile and just watched and observed the other students. While they would be his classmates for the next couple of years they would also be his direct competition. Hideki would have to be better than every single one of these people. So for now he would just wait and watch.

Then finally, after some time of student introductions the teacher walked in. She hadn't even introduced her name yet and she was already challenging all of her students. Hideki smirked as he thought this could be interesting. Hideki sat there and waited to see if anyone would take her challenge, maybe Hideki would himself. Soon enough though before Hideki said anything, a couple of different students jumped up and were ready to take her challenge head on. Hideki had to give it to them, they were not scared at all, even though they all knew that their teacher was a professional hero and most likely a lot stronger than all of the students in the class. Then a few of the students would ask some questions and their teacher would start to explain. She wrote on the board that her name was Ms. Mariko and she would be their teacher. She explained that she would be testing all of their quirks in anyway that the student wanted. She was going to have them change into their gym uniforms that the school provided and then they would all go outside.

Hideki would get changed into his gym uniform and would walk outside with the rest of his class. And as soon as they made it outside all hell broke loose. Some guy in a red suit super jumped onto the field they were on. He seemed to be a little bit older than they all were and he seemed to know what they were about to do, he then also offered to help. If he was an older student shouldn't he be in his own class right now? Hideki just stared at the older boy for a second confused before he became even more confused as the pale girl, Hideki believed her name was Vitalis started to sing. This was all going kinda strange as they waited for their teacher to tell them exactly what they were doing. Hideki didn't really care if things were strange though, all he cared about was this quirk test they were about to take. Hideki was ready to show what he could do.

This was it. The first day of her new life, the start of a path she could not turn back from. She was going to become a hero! And it all started here, at UA, the most prestigious school in the country for training heroes-to-be. So many world class heroes had walked these halls, sat in these classrooms, and fought for these people. Yuki's blood was pumping with excitement. Or was that beating sound her heart rapidly beating nervously? Yuki had no idea but she knew that she was on the cusp of something great.

It began with orientation. Seemed everyone else knew where they were going and what they were doing, not just the older students but even the first time students seemed more co-ordinated than herself. Yuki spotted a bat fly overhead as she made her way towards orientation. As she was arriving late Yuki felt herself relax a little as a few others were tagging in late too. Her hands firmly held the forms in her hand. The other students had them too, all with so many different quirks. Listening to every word of their headmaster. Aizawa. He was one of the teachers who trained Deku!

Once orientation was done she made her way towards the classrooms, all the while looking around for someone, anyone, to approach so that she would not have to start alone. Truth be told, she really was nervous. She entered the classroom behind everyone else, who already seemed to be making groups. She looked at her paperwork, then at the big letter and number on the door. 1-A. She was in the right class. She slowly approached the other students, prepped all of the courage she could, and greeted them.

"Hi there," she said, sounding overly bubbly. "I'm Jin Yukika but you can call me Yuki!" Was that too much? She had already offered a nickname and she had only just met them. One of them seemed particularly distracted by her music playing through some earbuds, but in a cute way as she bobbed and swayed and danced a little. She was cute. "E-erm, guess we're all in the same class. I can't wait to get to know you all and see what you guys can do!" She was trying so hard to be confident despite how nervous she felt.

Iniji's shoulders loosened up a bit as a few of the students around him seems to agree with his verdict. The proactive girl named Isa was a tad more aggressive than the others, but he chalked it up to her personality. Iona seemed like the leader type, Iniji wasn't sure if she was just trying to defuse the tension as he watched the small blond girl basically approaching every person with a chipper liveliness. He wondered if she would run for class representative or the likes, she seems to be the type. "A public image is important for a hero, although I suppose there are many niches to fill." I wonder which one I can take up. Iniji half-heartedly responded to the girl's speeches as he drifted into thought again.

The ground's suddenly vibration caught Iniji off guard as he shuddered a bit backwards. He reflected upon the fact that he had spaced out again, being unable to react to a sudden situation, he was feeling too safe, being on U.A. grounds and all. Though he knew that historically, hero schools aren't unbreachable by villains. Perhaps I should be more alert next time-...senpai? Hotaru, who was near him, shouted out something that consisted of the word "senpai". "Um, oh, it's that senpai." He looked at the small smoking crater where the senior student landed. "I agree with Sunemizuki-san." The boy blankly added to the taller girl's much more reactive remark, with a near apathetic calmness that made the words sound somewhat critical, "Minimizing collateral damage is a part of a hero's duty, I understand it can be unavoidable, but it's just callous to purposelessly cause damages, even if it is just a training ground." He remembered the live stream as he added more, it was clear that their senpai didn't have much concern in that department. I wonder how he passed the rescue portions of the provisional hero license exams.

With a small sigh at the strange and questionable behaviour of their senior, Iniji's ears perked up a bit when he heard someone singing. They were waiting around for a while now, so people are passing the time in their own ways. He tilted his head slightly when he saw the words were coming from the girl with the strange speech pattern. The lyrics were clearly Japanese and coherent, as opposed to whatever she said in the classroom, it definitely solidified Iniji's theory on a speech impediment issue, quirk related or otherwise. "I think Alu-ca-rd-san, uh, Vitalis-san," he paused a bit and tried to recall the formality rules on western names, "perhaps should try to talk with us through song all the time, it seems to have more...clarity." It felt like a silly notion, but Iniji mumbled it out loud anyways.

Hotaru let out a huff, none too pleased about being startled. It seemed like no one really noticed the unfitting yelp she let out though, which helped some of her embarrassment. Takeshi was just as taken aback. Vitalis had moved onto singing, which she could do strangely well for some reason. Isa took issue with her doubts of the oni, but who was she kidding? Recommendation or not, a pro was out of their league. She remembered reading that Deku half broke himself everytime he used his power at first. If that was anything to go by gauging the first-years to the teachers, it wouldn't be a fight.

"Yeah... Go for it. Knock yourself out... or let one of the sensei's do it for you," Hotaru remarked further. If Isa wanted to put on a show, by all means. However, Hotaru knew where her money was.

It was at that point another girl showed up. She had been so quiet in all of the past events that Hotaru hadn't really noticed her. She seemed oddly--bubbly. Not in the normal kind of bubbly, but overtly so. Maybe she and Vitalis would end up being the class mascots.

"...Hi...?" Hotaru raised one hand slightly in greeting. "Er... I mostly can hit things."

She could actually do more than that, but Hotaru wasn't eager nor planning to show off. They got to choose their tests, those of them that didn't swat at the hornet's nest, and Hotaru was going to exploit that choice to perform the most baseline, non-flashy test she could, and get it over with. Unless pushed to do more, she would likely just explain her quirk and then punch something to illustrate. Quick, simple, easy.

Then Iniji spoke up, drawing the tomboy's gaze. He said things that were mostly Iniji-ish, though one stuck out and brought a smile to her face with a stifled chuckle. Maybe Vitalis should just sing from now on. That seemed to solve all translation issues.

A late arrivals appeared, one expressing an excitement to learn what each of them could do. Hotaru was pretty boring about it. Ryoshi assumed it was a simple strength quirk. Nothing wrong with that, simple and effective. . Something that was pretty topical given what they were about to do with showing off and everything. Ryoshi pointed to himself to go next.
"Well I uh... I'm Green. And I have a carapace..." He knocked against his skin which made more of a tacking noise then the meaty thud that most people have. "Oh! And I've got claws and arm blades." He extended his arm out, and his blade unfurled right beneath his hand. "Yeah... Mine's pretty obvious..." He pulled back and moved to the side. Nothing else to really say there. His abilities weren't exactly difficult to divine.

The same, however, could not be said for Amano. She started picking her ear with her pinky, then started pulling out the pinkish grey slime in a thin strand that just kept going... and going... and going... and going... until it landed on the floor with a wet splat and pulled itself back into its more "upright" pseudopod form. "Well, I manifest this slime right here in my sinuses. He acts as a second memory. It can remember whatever it senses. His name is Mnemu." She looked at the new arrival expectably. After all, she wanted to know what they did. "What about you?"

"Hey there.", he waved to Yuki as she introduced herself. How many times has he said 'hi' and 'hey' today? Introductions were always weird and repetitive, though it had to be done… "Hopefully the tests will work as a little showcase as to what we can do."

Things kept happening one after the other. Students came and introduced themselves, Sentai-senpai came literally crashing in the field and… was that humming he heard? Words from an admittedly familiar song made their way into Takeshi's ears as he turned toward the source of the sound; Vitalis. Wasn't she speaking in Abyssal just a few moments ago? Considering everyone had to do a written exam, he doubted the girl was completely helpless with the language but… huh, he didn't expect her Japanese to be so clean. 'Then again, reciting lyrics is easier than speaking, in a way.'

He huffed through his nose at Iniji's suggestion to have Vitalis speak through song. "I think that'll make things way too complicated, if you ask me.", he commented. "Oh, uh, not that I don't like your singing, Vitalis-san!", he quickly added.

He kept his ears open as he heard glimpse on the side of some students giving off examples of their Quirks. Whoa, did Yubiki pull out some slime from her ear…? Weird, but strangely awesome. Some people, like Ryoshi and Fumihiro, had easily-identifiable Quirks due to them being mutant-types, though he was highly curious about the others. He caught a very small glimpse of Mika's earlier, though he didn't get that much more information. There were also some students like Isa, Iniji, Mari and maybe Vitalis who possessed some physical traits that could hint at their abilities. Investigating would amount to nothing, however, as Quirks would get revealed pretty soon anyway.

Yuki waved back.

"It's lovely to meet everyone," she replied to all of their greetings, "and well, I can make bright lights." She neglected to say anything further but raised a hand to shoulder height. Focusing her mind, Yuki drew on what little power she had stored. A sparkling ball of silver light came to life in her hand. It was bright to look at but not very impressive - she really should allow herself to store up more solar energy. The light fizzled and died just as quickly as it had appeared. "All out, but usually it can get pretty bright and I never need a torch.... Except when I'm not charged up, which is always," she said sheepishly. The real power would be kept for when it came time to really show off.

Hit things hard? Some kind of armoured carapace and arm blades? Those seemed a little more dangerous than own light show. But she did not know about the girl with the memory-saving slime... What else could the slime do? Could it be controlled, or detached from her? Was there a limit to the amount she could produce or how much it could remember? Does she share its memories like her own or is it something more akin to a computer hard drive, where she has to look into the memories in some way? Yuki had a lot of questions about all of them and only time would tell her more.
