Mari
Mari bobbed her head to the beat of her music, which blared into her ears from her headphones. She seemed to be dancing to the outrageous beat of Shut Up and Dance. Her wings were neatly tucked away, seeing that she was in her human form given to her by the fairy council. Bouncing, and glowing, down the hallway, she came upon a few familiar faces. Isis, Lilaura, and a guy she didn't recognized. Noticing his glum looking face, Mari frowned. Walking up to the three, she smiled at him. "Oh why are you sad? You are just such an amazing person, I can tell, and you don't deserve to be in a slump." She said. complimenting him in hopes it would lift his spirits. Looking over to the other two, she smiled again. "Hello there, Lilaura, Hello Isis!" She gleamed. "Have you seen Cooper? He asked me to make him a new mix tape for his work-out routine." She asked. It was clear that she was taking on her mothers personality this morning, like every morning. Once she would enter the classroom, she would become the normal, tamed and less glowing, Mari that people knew and loved. Taking off her headphones, she looked at him. "Would you like to take a listen to my music?" She asked the male. "It might help you cheer up." She added. Though she could sense the males shyness, and dislike of social interactions
with people. She sighed. "Only if you want to." She said. Holding out her hand, a pair of earbuds. They would play the melody that Mari had created in the last month, in fact it would play ten of them, and if wanted she could charm them to play more. The melody would in fact calm his nerves, if ever needed.

Keenan Vizquel.

The hallways were packed with monsters in every corner. He was typically the kind of person to slither through the daunting crowds with ease while keeping his overconfident demeanor. He grabbed at the hem of his grey blazer so it will fit his dazzling slim body nicely. If there was one word to describe Keenan, it was conceited. When he arrived at his tiny little locker, he twisted his fingers around matching the code up before lifting the hatch and swinging the locker open. Of course there was a mirror in there. It was a huge one that was covering half of the locker's door. He looked into the mirror and smirked, his eyes growing a dark green. He then proceeded to fix his hair.
At his final moment of making sure he looked, "hella fine" Keenan did that cliche 'lick your hand and keep the quiff down.' before grabbing the books he needed for his next class, slamming the locker with a bang to grab some attention and walking down the crowded hallway once more.

He was going to be late to class this morning if he slept just one more second in his bed with a whole bunch of serpent skin beneath his feet, so he rushed in getting ready, skipping breakfast completely. He decided it was best to head towards the cafeteria, nodding at companions with that glorious pearly white smile. When he got to the cafeteria he stopped in his tracks. This wasn't him. The cocky, vain, Keenan. It wasn't. He knows he's so much better than that. He grabbed his food with his head down low, and a few people were pointing his little flaw out. Some girls were claiming that he just got unattractive, but he didn't care. He just needed to get to homeroom as soon as possible to avoid confrontation. He did acknowledge a couple of people, only to get arm punches and interrogations as to why his mood suddenly changed. He didn't answer them, he just smiled and waved before disappearing into the crowd like always.

Hope had been attempting to help Lilly stand, but it seemed the colorful girl was beyond needing it as she jumped up to her feet with nary a thought for the injury she'd just seemed to suffer. Instead, that offered hand of assistance was taken for a handshake, and Hope smiled widely with an amused giggle for the energetic response. "Oh, well that's good! You must be pretty tough, to shake off that sorta crash!" she chirped with relief, her tail now swaying slowly in contentment behind her. She reached back to grasp it, and guide it back under her skirt once more, the blade-limbs behind her back ducking further down as well.

"Well hiya Lilly! I'm Hope, and... this is my first time here," she admitted with a shrug, knowing she joined a bit late. "Uh... you were headed that way, right?" A simple thumb jerk toward the gymnasium was offered. "My first class is over that way too, I think. Wanna walk together? Or... run? I guess we might be late, shortly- huh?" That didn't seem to phase her much, mostly because she didn't know what the punishment was for arriving late!

William "Will" Roe
Wills head perked up at the new presence insinuating itself into the three-person small group he was currently apart of. A rather sweet, a musically filled voice rung out many unheard of compliments - at least for the sea monster known as will. His head came up to face the rather normal looking girl. Will was at a lose for words or what to say, his three textbooks clenched up to his chest, with a couple stray papers holding on for dear life. "I..uh..nhh.." The man only cracked a small smile on his face, keeping himself quiet in the conversation before him. Will looked to the glowing girl across from Lilaura, Isis and himself, cracking a rather polite smile on his face and shying his head away in a decline for the music. He appreciated the offer more than could be said, but if he started listening to some music now, he'd never make it to class, which Will assumed he was already late for anyway. He faced the three girls, speaking to them all as a group rather simultaneously. "We...uh, should probably get going... we'll be late for homeroom....".

Lilly Miller
Lilly offered a rather large smile in return to the acceptance of the handshake, tuning in on what Hope had said; she giggled to herself quietly, "Oh no, not tough at all, I'm just always falling." She finished with a child-like giggle, grabbing her bag from the ground and slinging it across her shoulder. "It's nice to meet you hope! I'm Lilly! Oh wait... sorry, I already introduced myself." It seemed the giggles that came from Lilly were no where close to stopping this beautiful day. She looked to the girl, who seemed rather amused with Lilly's airhead-esque' reactions, though the blue haired girl was used to this and welcome the silly gestures and looks from others. Lilly looked down at her watch once more, eyes widening in shock, "Yes! Lets run! I'm heading to the gym, but if we don't hurry one or both of us will be late!" Lilly took off a breakneck speed, leaving Hope to either laugh or follow.

Hope chose both! She laughed as she darted after Lilly's breakneck speed, her tail unfurling from around her waist to bob behind her, helpfully maintaining the scrawny girl's balance while she ran. "Oh, hey- you're going to gymnasium? So am I!" She found Lilly's flighty personality amusing indeed, but not in a negative way at all. It made her want to get to know this funny lady more- but right now there was a race to focus on! At least, Hope saw it as a race, her wide eyes narrowing into a more predatorial expression.

Though she might look like skin and bones, Hope's slender form belied a lithe strength. When she took off running it was with surprising ferocity, made all the more startling perhaps by her willingness to leap over the benches and concrete dividers set up in the courtyard to divide eating areas and reading areas and flower beds. Hope hurtled over one particular patch of colorful plant life and bounded off on all fours for a moment, before switching back to a more human gait on two legs. Before long she'd caught up with Lilly and offered a toothy grin to the girl as they neared the hallways that would lead to the large gym building. That's where it'd get tricky, with other students heading to class before it started!

Lilly Miller
Lilly had taken a moment in her own personal race for time to look back towards the girl named Hope, she smiled seeing the girl follow with her own odd, yet incredibly effective gate. It wasn't until hope caught up with Lilly that she found the girl returning to a more normal pace, her beautifully odd tail catching the avian's attention and nearly causing her to fall once again over a potted planet and directly into a statue - that would have hurt!
Lilly smiled a large and toothy grin, watching the girls face contort into it's own prisms of happiness. "PERFECT! Lilly shouted back towards the girl, before refocusing on the path ahead of her. She came to a door that opened into the right-wing corridors, alright... this was where the challenge began. Lilly smiled to herself, stopping for a mere moment in front of the throng of students. "Last one to make it to the gym is a rotten egg!" She giggled back towards Hope, insinuating a challenge on the horizon. Lilly took off at a speed much faster then her previous one outside in the courtyard, she sprung past a couple of students, twisting and contorting her body as to not hit them. Her eyes were heavily focused on the upcoming left turn to the gymnasium, which she took with a near scrape on the walls corner. She hopped over a couple bent over students, apologizing in her wake. Nearly there, Lilly noticed a large group of kids in front of her, completely blocking off the hallway. It was a moment decision, but Lilly had decided to go for the slide. Giggling to herself like a Kindergartener, she jumped forward onto the slick linoleum flooring, sliding directly under the students who were both shocked and amused by the girls antics. Her shouts of enjoyment were heard all the way down the echoing hallway as the girl simply stood up from her slide as if nothing had happen, quickly dusted herself off and rushed to the end of the hallway where she saw the sign reading "Gym A", it was now or never!

@Insomnant

Hope was starting to worry for Lilly's well-being if this race continued- she was a remarkably clumsy runner! At least she was durable, as Hope had determined earlier, but still! The risk wasn't quite enough to make her call off the mad dash for class though, and she giggled at Lilly's cheerful outburst. "Chrrp!" She made a happy clicking/squeaking sound in response, something from deep within her chest that made her falter a moment, her own pace growing unsteady before she got control of her surprise and subsequently her running. She hadn't made that noise in a very long time...

But she was distracted by the sudden declared challenge, and it made Hope inhale sharply with shock. A rotten egg?! What a horrible notion! Rotten eggs are consumed by drones and their biomaterial fed back into the hatchery to produce another batch of larvae. She didn't want to be considered a failure and thus she gave a playful stuttering growl of consent even as Lilly darted off at surprising speed. No wonder she fell with such frequency! Hope wasn't put off though and she leapt forward, arms outstretched, backpack hovering off her back for a moment... before landing on the palms of her hands, scooping the fake tile floor beneath her and pushing off with enough force that her tail could whip behind her, bringing her legs to bear for the next stride. This wouldn't normally work, as she'd just run into other students' legs or hips, but she brought her blade-limbs to bear, extending them forward (with scythes safely pointed inward, of course!) so that the curved outer edges of the bone-colored appendages formed a plow, like a train's pilot, allowing her to bounce off of pedestrians and keep darting forward.

She managed to keep up with Lilly almost the whole way there, until they rounded that left turn, and she spotted the crowd that was quite effectively blockading their way. Her first instinct was to chop her way through but a little buzz within her head made those urges swiftly recede and she felt shame for even considering it. But she still needed to get through, and while Lilly went for a skillful slide, Hope went for a jump! Pouncing at the wall just before the crowd, she got one, two footsteps up on the wall, before having to lunge upward with all her might. She wasn't quite going to clear the heads of the students based on her current trajectory, even lifting up her legs, but her left blade-limb reached out and struck at the wall, slicing a few inches into it and giving Hope an anchor point. Like a pendulum she swung higher, evading the startled students as she flew over them, her blade-limb releasing just in time... But the force of it letting go of the wall put her off balance, and she twisted into a backflip to arrest her dangerous momentum, so she could land on the balls of her feet before bouncing forward into a normal, two-legged run once more. The maneuver worked flawlessly, she didn't fall- but it did slow Hope down enough that Lilly made it to the door mere milliseconds before Hope did, hot on her heels.

"Hahh! Haaah... Awwr, I'm rotten!" she protested, slowing down at last, to catch her breath. Her blade-limbs rose and fell with her breathing and her tail curled around her right leg. "You're crazy fast!"

Lilaura Wolf and Isis Gorgan
Lilaura frowned as Cooper floated up disappearing from sight. She looked back at Will and smiled some then looked at Isis who was beaming humming some tune when Mari showed up. "Hey Mari, just in time for us all to go to dead languages." Lilaura said not with her usual brightness. She turned headed to go to Dead Languages. Isis brightened seeing her other best girl friend. "Mari good to see you this summer was insane you should have come over." She said pulling Will a bit closer. She definitely wanted to keep him close to her, she was was feeling more protective and well a bit more attached to the shy kid than usual.

(@Zatanna still waiting on you for a reply to Erebus)

Sera looked at him and nodded.

"Well you're different now." she smiled and kissed him again.

"You're really good at that... And you're handsome... kiss me again." She giggled, getting on her tippy toes she gently bit his bottom lip, looking into his eyes.

(Sorry/ @Poisoned Rose )

William "Will" Roe
Will felt his body concave softly in on Isis's own, he looked to his left, watching the girls eyes flutter from Lilaura, to Mari, but never to him - she was quite caught up in conversation, however, Will didn't mind, he had always been the wallflower of a group, shy and silent to anyone and everyone, even his best friends.
"We...should probably get going...Mr. Rotter will have our heads if we're late..." Will spoke soft and silent, watching the three girls around him to see if they had in fact heard the sea-monster, or were too caught up in their reunions. Will watched as Lilaura started walking in the direction of dead languages, and with a little effort, pried himself from Isis's tightening grip, tugging gently on the fold of her sleeve in attempts to bring her along.

Lilly Miller
Lilly had stopped to catch her breath at the doors of the Gymnasium, watching as Hope came to an equally heart-beating stop. They had both gone so hard, and it was so invigorating to find someone with as much love and enthusiasm for races and fun times! Lilly looked over to the scaled girl, seeing her panting just as the avian girl herself was doing. "Me, fast? Are you kidding! Did you see yourself back there! That jump was incredible!" Lilly boasted with an eager voice. She had never met someone who was so good at keeping up with her, regardless of not being born a relatively fast individual, being part bird did allow one to have instincts on their surroundings and easily avoid things to deter collisions, the speed she had mostly gained from being late to class so often. Lilly smiled, now breathing more normal before pushing open the doors in front of her and hope. She eyed down four different groups of students, seeing them all separated by different teachers. Some looked older, so they must be seniors... others, quite young.. sophomores perhaps? Lilly reached into her book-bag, pulling out a small piece of paper which listed her schedule; being so new she had no clue who her teacher was or which group she should go to. She spun around to find Hope close to her side, before passing off a confusing look the girls way, "Do you know which group is ours?" Lilly bit her bottom lip in worry, finding some kids from different groups, slip in behind the two, instantly finding their places in respective groups. Lilly hung her head in shame, sighing - if only she wasn't such a ditz.

Hope blinked with surprise that Lilly had even seen her jump but she humbly shook her head, her pink locks bouncing with the gesture. "Nooo, that slide was way better! Didn't slow you down! I didn't even think of doing that..." She too was returning to more normal breathing as they went into the gym. She had no idea what this 'class' was supposed to teach her, as there hadn't been any catch-up homework assigned for it. And the sight that met her when she entered the room with Lilly was a bit confusing. People in crowds, with a small number of obviously older individuals leading them? Hope understood that much but when her new avian friend asked which collective they belonged to, she just cocked her head to the side and eyed each of the teachers in turn.

None of them gave off a particularly strong psionic imprint that might make her more likely to obey them, she decided. "I'm not sure," she whispered back to Lilly. "I'm not too familiar with how Terran social structures work. Do the leaders intend to fight each other for dominance?" If so, Hope definitely wanted to join up with the senior group, as they looked stronger and more capable of defeating the others.

Luckily for the two perplexed girls, their confusion was soon alleviated when another student with what looked like patches of gray stone on her arms and face spoke up, addressing them. "Are you two sophomores?" Hope shook her head rapidly to indicate no. "Oh, first years?" This time Hope nodded just as swiftly. "Okay, you two should probably head over to Mr. Ratchem's group then." The tone was a bit condescending but Hope didn't seem bothered at all and smiled with another singular nod. "Thanks!" She turned back to Lilly with an easy shrug. "Guess that clears that up!" That is, except for the whole 'what are they doing' part!

Lilaura and Isis
The hybrid split from the others to go check on the younger girls. "Hello there, I am Lilaura Mr. Ratchem's class is actually across the hall from Mr. Rotter's if you wanna come with us we can take you there." She gave a sweet smile to them and beckoned them to follow her to Mari, Isis and Will. She skipped back to the others and Isis gave a small smile. Isis looked up at Will and followed him to Rotter's class slowly watching as Lilaura went to the younger students introducing herself. Isis shook her head it was just like the goofy girl to make nice with the freshmen.

Erebus
Erebus groaned and pulled her against his chest tightly as she bit his bottom lip. He kissed her deeply before pulling away, "We should probably head to Rotter's we don't wanna be late." He picked her up putting her on his shoulder as he headed to to Rotter's class. This girl was going to be the death of him, 'She kissed us she kissed us.' He could heat his otherself cheering happily. He chuckled lightly holding up Sera on his shoulder with no problem what so ever.

Seraphina

Sera giggled as he picked her up, and put her on his shoulders. She giggled, she really was light.

"Do you think after school we could go to your house and study after wards?" she smiled.

She ran her fingers through his hair, smiling and waving down to the people in the halls.

"You're so handsome." she said purring.

William "Will" Roe
Will entered the classroom to his right, watching as all the students on the inside, including some who's faces he recognized from semester one, chat and goof-off, prior to Rotter's welcome back speech. The teacher himself wasn't even in the room, which was weird for Mr. Rotter, Will had deduced last semester that Mr. Rotter was the kind of teacher to be early for most things, especially class, in the hopes of also leaving early. It was an ethic Will believe most seniors to appreciate, however Will enjoyed class; he could drown himself in knowledge, rather than the social sphere of school. The sea-beast was never the type to enjoy social activities... though that was a given from just seeing his personality at an up-close level.
Will walked into the class, taking a seat closest to the window to the left side of the classroom. He placed his books softly on the table, glancing around the room quick enough to catch just who and what kind of students Will would be sharing this room with - for semester two, that is. The brunette shyly tuned his head towards the window, avoiding eye contact with practically everyone as he awaited for Mr. Rotter to join the classroom, and for class to start.

Lilly Miller
Lilly looked over to Hope with an incredulous and slightly worried look. She remembered instantly that it wasn't often most people who weren't human had an informative up-bringing like herself of things humans did and what was and wasn't normal. The worried looked dissipated from her face, easily replaced by a large smile as she filled the surrounding area with a tactical laugh. [glow]"Hope! Gym is where we learn from the leaders! They teach us how to play different sports and we all have a blast doing so!"[/glow] Lilly paused for a moment to catch the confused girls eyes, "I do hate the running part though.. running sucks." Lilly boo'ed mentally, pouting her lower lip. She looked back to the gym, instinctively chewing on one of her nails out of habit.
Lilly looked over towards Hope to see another student coming up behind the two with strange rocky' looking patches all over their skin. Lilly's eyes lit up in fascination and due to that, she missed everything the individual had said.
"Guess that clears that up."
Lilly looked down, disappointed in herself for zoning out so harshly.
"Uh.. yeah... I wasn't exactly paying attention.. you lead the way!"

Cooper
Cooper was able to relax himself and return himself back to his normal state. He sighed. He had felt stupid for not telling Lilaura about his recent problems with himself. If there was anyone he could have told it was her, but for some reason his heart stopped when he thought of telling her. It still embarrassed him. Looking around at the school grounds, he chuckled and shook his head. He needed to be going to class, and well it was such a nice view he didn't wan't to. Though he knew if he didn't show his face, not only Mr.Rotter, but Lilaura would have his neck. Literally she was the only reason he tried in school, he didn't want to disappoint her; however, he tried, but it never seemed to get the results that he wanted.
Sighing, he went ghost and let his body sink back into the school. He flew himself to Rotter's class, and landed outside the door. Walking in, he took a seat in the second row, three seats in from the aisle.

Mari
Mari smiled at the boy. Music wasn't for everyone, she guessed. Letting the ear buds disappear, she nodded her head at him. "Well we should be going to class." She noted to herself. She didn't know if the rest of them was coming, but she skipped her way down the hallway to dead languages. Walking in, she noticed a familiar looking boy with frost white hair. "Cooper!" She sang, before running down and taking a seat next to him. "I got that play list for you, love!" She said enthusiastically. Pulling out the Ipod that Cooper loaned her. "There are twenty three new songs, and five remixes." She informed him. Cooper laughed and nodded his head. "Thanks Mari." He said. Mari smiled. "No problem." She said, before turning and facing forward. Taking out her notebook, and purple gel pen, she was ready for the day.

Hope paused her surveying of the different groups to glance over at Lilly as she explained. That all made a lot of sense and her bright blue eyes tracked back and forth a moment before she nodded and smiled. "Ohh, okay! That sounds a lot more pleasant." She didn't seem like she would have been put off if the teachers' had made them wage war, but at least she was okay with this too. The distaste for running made Hope giggle and glance over at Lilly, nudging the girl with an elbow. "Well just think of it as a race, and running should be fun again!"

Once they'd got their grouping assignment, Hope started walking toward the teacher they'd been directed to and laughed as Lilly admitted her total lack of awareness for that conversation. "This way!" she insisted, grabbing Lilly's arm and gently pulling her toward the group where other freshmen were already gathered around a post-middle-aged man with saggy jowls and floppy canine ears giving away his not-quite-human-ness. Just as with the stone-skinned girl before, Hope gave no recognition of this man being different or unusual. He was in the process of doing roll call it seemed like, though luckily he had just started. It seemed the other kids were just throwing their backpacks against the wall but Hope found herself wanting to secure her pack somewhere a bit safer than that. "Were we supposed to change clothing?" she asked Lilly in a hushed voice, wondering if her attire would be ideal for playing sports. A skirt with leggings was comfortable, but she assumed they'd get some sort of armor for the rougher training.

The light footed shuffling of feet breaks the awkward silence in Mr.Rotter's classroom. A young looking girl, yet probably familiar to few sluggishly stepped through the door. Her head would shift upward from the floor to glance at those already there, and a small twinge of surprise graced her expression. The girl's eyes, colored an unnatural mixture of pink and purple, dart to the teacher's desk only to find him not there. Class should be starting soon, so it was surprising to see that her teacher and several other students were not already here. "Haha...," an awkward but seemingly cute chuckle finally escapes from her, "If I knew he wasn't going to be late I would have stopped to sniff the roses some more." she mentions loud enough for anyone in the class room to hear. It wasn't really directed to anyone, and as such anyone could very well respond to her. She twirled a strand of her purple hair around her dainty manicured finger as she gazes over the seats still available to her. She stood there for a while as she mulled over the decision, not really appearing to be in any rush at all. Would she prefer a window seat, a seat by the door and trashcan, a seat in the back, or a seat in the front? She mused quietly as a thought came to mind, I'm most likely going to be drawing during class so best pick a seat where I won't be noticed so easily.

With a casual shrug, the girl moved over to the column of desks aligned next to the windows on the left. She noticed the boy sitting at the desk second to last, and since she liked just having another soul close by she sat at the desk in front of him. Being right in the middle was comfortable enough for her, plus the window seats where always the warmest. As she approached her seat, she would have given the young man a warm smile, but he was already looking out the window and decided against it. Setting her bag on her chair she begin to unpack her things, carefully placing each item on the flat surface. A binder with several papers jutting out from it, a sketchbook with "propety of Lesani" neatly written in ink on the cover, and a pencil case designed to look like a rotting banana. After getting situated with her belongings Lesani quietly sat in her seat. Getting comfortable, she sat her bookbag behind her on the chair so she could use it as a cushion when leaning back in her chair.

LILLY MILLER

Lilly felt silly for not paying attention to practically anything after she had zoned out, but she began to thank her lucky stars that Hope was indeed right beside her, able to lead the clueless girl to where they needed to be. Lilly felt a soft tug on her arm, a smile curving up onto her lips as she followed Hope to the area they were directed to, albeit Lilly's air headed knowledge.
She sat with the colorful girl, finding their teacher to be some interesting hybrid of dog and human. Lilly wanted to giggle looking at him, finding the floppy ears rather cute, they almost reminded her of a movie she had seen when she was just a little younger...hmmm, what was it?
Lilly folded in on herself, brooding intensely with a couple fingers up against her soft and angular jaw. A sheer revision of memory placated her right as her hand shot up and she belted out the movie title, "TREASURE PLANET! THAT'S IT!". Immediately, Lilly received a couple odd stares, and one rather disapproving one from the dog-man. She bowed her head rather low, coming in on herself in a show of attention and apology; a soft voice cracked from her lips that could be caught as a very mild apology if one listened close enough.
Lilly looked over to her questioning new friend, now that her attention had died down enough to speak without notice of their teacher. "To be honest, I'm not too sure myself Hope... I'm not very good at remembering what to bring on first days... let alone ever!" Lilly fell back, arms splayed out on the smooth wooden gym floor, it's piercing cold reaching her back way to fast, causing her to shiver slightly.

Will Roe

Will glanced over to the presence entering the classroom, she was pretty, very pastel, and Will was instantly worried. He could feel her eyes focusing on the seat beside him. Oh no... what do I do? What do I do?! I've never been good at talking with anyone, she looks like she wants to talk to me...
Multitudes of thoughts were processing through the brunettes head, wiring at a pace almost incomprehensible for the man himself. Will's inverted fears were suddenly made real as she sat beside him, a large and warm smile placated on her face and directed at him. Will watched this girl set up, eyeing the writing on the top of her notebook as she reached back into her book bag to grab what seemed to be a seat cushion. "Property of Lesani," well that was definitely an original name...
Will's fists clenched together as he quickly pulled away from reading her name, arching his head to the left and far down enough that he wouldn't have to make eye contact. He was truly the most awkward person anyone would ever meet, and it took longer than the moons rotation to get the boy to open up and accept a new individual into his life.
He twisted his head back enough to see those behind him; there was one man who stood out, arms perched behind his head, sleeping rather peacefully...typical seniors. Why couldn't will be a chillaxed senior like them? Why couldn't he just loosen up?!
