"Great job." Rekki called out before he could even catch the two words before they passed through his lips. Once again, he found himself being nice to random people again. Lance and Ericka were both fairly quick to react when the warrior came into their presence, of course, Lance reacting faster. There was a foggy glass that covered the man's eyes, rendering him blind. Rekki was impressed. He didn't believe for one moment that she had that kind of power, but he was sadly mistaken. Light could be used to do some interesting things.
Copper continued to boil the water. As much as she was helping, Rekki did not want to use any of his abilities on it. He was already wavy enough when it came to regular water. If he just chose to sling around boiling water everywhere, he would surly scar someone. That annoyed fact settled on his head as he ran his fingers through his hair. Plan...plan...plan.
Lance's grip tightened on the warrior and Ericka looked completely drained. Not a good thing. The daylight must have enabled Lance to further tap into his element, for fear the darkness will further weaken Ericka. After adding up that fact, Rekki realized even though the darkness would make Ericka weak, it would make Braeden strong.
A throbbing knot formed on the side of Rekki's head. There was too much calculation for him to do alone. Taking one look at the girl with red hair, he noted the seriousness in her eyes and faltered slightly. The girl he wanted to disappear so many seconds before was now a vessel of determination and power.
"Copper. I can't use this."he said, motioning towards the river. Seconds later, Rekki caught the movement from Lance's direction from the corner of his eye. The movement was fast, but not fast enough. Rekki spun around to see the constricted warrior...doing the constricting.
Warriors were not Poised. They weren't gifted with the power of the Fallen. The Fallen were people who were born, raised, or ressurected from the elements. The elements were the basic elements of the world, much like the Poised around Rekki now. But the Fallen were named Fallen for a reason. Warriors of Luricshia's army had a task to complete; destroy the Fallen. They could not have people strolling around Luricshia's luscious green plains with so much power and ability coursing through their veins. In that way, the warriors gained their own power of manipulation from different objects and weapons. Some were dangerous and most not used.
This particular warrior...manipulated ropes.
A rope slithered from under the coat of the fallen and constricted itself around Lance's neck. The notion caught them all by surprised. Lance must have forgotten about their own powers. Even though he had the warrior in a firm grip, he also didn't take the time out to carefully plot out any counter attack. Rekki couldn't blame him, though. Ropes were the last thing that Rekki expected.
Lance's face became pale, his throat uprooting gargling, hacking sounds. Rekki transfixed himself to attack, but was quickly reminded about the boiling water issue. For the first time today, he felt completely useless.

Jazmyn continued to flail in the air, slowly regaining her balance. Although she really really really hated to admit it, Lance and Ericka's actions had bought her enough time to straighten herself out. She didn't like the fact that she had to be helped out by someone she didn't know, let alone another Poised. To her, they were just stealing the fun away. At that moment, there wasn't much to complain about. If i were not for them, she'd be lying flat on her face in the ground right now.
She took a moment to regulate her breathing, being very careful not to make any sudden or jerking movements. Steadying wind took time and patience, which was Jazz's weakness. When there was action, the adrenaline in her body spiked and there was no telling what her body would do for that moment on. Grow up, Jazzy! These people need you! Or not, she thought straightening out her fingers. A sliver of wind slid under her arms, balancing her in place. The same happened to the area under the soles of her peach colored shoes.
"Alright, Jazmyn is ready to do this!"she exclaimed, sending off a fist pump into the air. When her fist raised into the air, a gust of wind followed, pushing her off balance again. That's not all. The wind shot up a man that was lurking in the dark shadows of a rock. He flailed around in the air, yelling in surprise.
Jazz blinked twice and then regained her composure, lifting her chin up as though she meant for that to happen, although it was pure accidental.
