Sable turned around and frowned. It felt like something was watching her... She shivered and stepped up to her grandmother's porch. She walked in, since she also had a key, and set the picnic basket on the table. She checked on her grandmother, and saw that she was already asleep. She went back into the kitchen and scribbled a note on the basket: Hey Gran, got here late, sorry! The pie is in the basket, enjoy!
She walked back outside, locking the door behind her, and bringing her cloak closer to her body. The night was dark, and no howls or crickets were to be heard. Not hearing anything was so...
