« Kai was born on a cold December night to Jim and Miranda O'Niell. She was raised by them until she was four when they died in a car crash coming home from a Christmas party. She was left with her grandmother until she was six and her grandmother died from a heart attack. She has been at the orphanage ever since.»

« Most people describe Katherine as bad kid with a bad temper. She's rebellious, because she does not like to be told what she can and cannot do, and tends to act impulsively. Often, people judge her before actually talking to her, based on her bad reputation. Sadly, she can't deny any of the rumors. She does throw a punch before asking any questions. She does run her mouth before thinking about the words coming out of it. But, this is mainly because she knows she won't be accepted, so she doesn't even bother to try. Those who really know her will tell you that she's actually a deep and loving young lady, when she wants to be. Kat is naturally protective of everyone, but is even more so of the people she does not know, because she feels like everyone deserves someone. Katherine is actually a very damaged individual, which is why she cares so deeply about others. Most people don't realize this, but the best way to get to know her is through her art. She puts a piece of herself into everything she creates, and is very sentimental. She's outspoken and opinionated, and is more judgmental than she'd like to admit. Understandably, Kat is a guarded and secretive girl who often gives off the mysterious vibe. »

« Katherine's story started out tragic. Before her, her mother had lost a child, and so it was actually unexpected that Katherine would make it. One would think that the miracle of her birth would be a happy one, but this was not the case. Years before Katherine's mother had been raped... and so she had been hoping for a boy, so her child would not have the chance of suffering through the same experience. Her logic was flawed, obviously, but that didn't stop her mother from overdosing on pills as soon as Katherine was old enough to eat baby food.
The death of her mother hit Katherine's family hard, both emotionally and financially. Her father struggled with the bills for several months before their house was foreclosed on and he and his toddler daughter were forced to move into a small apartment. He was in law school, but it would be a long time until all his hard work would actually start paying off. In the meantime, Katherines grandmother sent the two of them checks in the mail, as well as sent presents for her birthday and Christmas. But, the presents were always necessities: clothes, shoes, notebooks. One year her grandmother sent a pack of colored pencils... which was when 5-year-old Katherine discovered her artistic talent. She treasured the pencils, and took extra careful care of them.
It wasn't too long after this that Katherine's father was arrested, for what charged Katherine still does not know. All she knows was that her grandmother refused to take her in, and so she was put into an orphanage. For a while she bounced between foster homes, but this ceased once she turned 15. At this point no one wanted her anymore. That is, until she was sent off to live with the Mortelle's in the country. »

« Anyone who's ever gone to school with Braeden would agree that he is the class clown of all class clowns. He's always cracking jokes and making inappropriate faces. Being funny is something Braeden is very proud of, as he believes a good sense of humor is the best quality a person can have. He tends to be over-talkitive, often getting himself and others in trouble. Braeden is by nature a very social and kind person, always more than happy to lend a helping hand. He's very much a jokester, and has what is called a contagious laugh. Despite his happy-go-lucky attitude, Braeden is actually a very hard working and surprisingly intelligent young man. Sure, he's not the smartest, but he's also not the dumbest either. Breaden suffers from ADHD, and can almost never sit still. He's also very organized, often color coding his homework and alphabetizing his movie selection. Braeden is non-judgemental and is always looking for a good time. Finally, he is extremely sarcastic, and the more he likes you the more sarcasm you will receive from him. He tends to be a little on the sensitive side, little insults sometimes hurting his feelings. He's not confrontational, preferring to avoid an issue instead of facing it head on. »

« Braeden is one of the younger people in his family, and so he tended to be babied when he was a child. He's always gotten the easier chores around the farm. Making friends has always been easy for him, and so he spent a lot of time away from the actual farm and in town goofing off. When he turned fourteen this came to an end, as he was given more responsibility at home.

« Most people describe Katherine as bad kid with a bad temper. She's rebellious, because she does not like to be told what she can and cannot do, and tends to act impulsively. Often, people judge her before actually talking to her, based on her bad reputation. Sadly, she can't deny any of the rumors. She does throw a punch before asking any questions. She does run her mouth before thinking about the words coming out of it. But, this is mainly because she knows she won't be accepted, so she doesn't even bother to try. Those who really know her will tell you that she's actually a deep and loving young lady, when she wants to be. Kat is naturally protective of everyone, but is even more so of the people she does not know, because she feels like everyone deserves someone. Katherine is actually a very damaged individual, which is why she cares so deeply about others. Most people don't realize this, but the best way to get to know her is through her art. She puts a piece of herself into everything she creates, and is very sentimental. She's outspoken and opinionated, and is more judgmental than she'd like to admit. Understandably, Kat is a guarded and secretive girl who often gives off the mysterious vibe. »

"Ugh, read my file why don't you?"
« Katherine's story started out tragic. Before her, her mother had lost a child, and so it was actually unexpected that Katherine would make it. One would think that the miracle of her birth would be a happy one, but this was not the case. Years before Katherine's mother had been raped... and so she had been hoping for a boy, so her child would not have the chance of suffering through the same experience. Her logic was flawed, obviously, but that didn't stop her mother from overdosing on pills as soon as Katherine was old enough to eat baby food.
The death of her mother hit Katherine's family hard, both emotionally and financially. Her father struggled with the bills for several months before their house was foreclosed on and he and his toddler daughter were forced to move into a small apartment. He was in law school, but it would be a long time until all his hard work would actually start paying off. In the meantime, Katherines grandmother sent the two of them checks in the mail, as well as sent presents for her birthday and Christmas. But, the presents were always necessities: clothes, shoes, notebooks. One year her grandmother sent a pack of colored pencils... which was when 5-year-old Katherine discovered her artistic talent. She treasured the pencils, and took extra careful care of them.
It wasn't too long after this that Katherine's father was arrested, for what charged Katherine still does not know. All she knows was that her grandmother refused to take her in, and so she was put into an orphanage. For a while she bounced between foster homes, but this ceased once she turned 15. At this point no one wanted her anymore. That is, until she was sent off to live with the Mortelle's in the country. »

« Anyone who's ever gone to school with Braeden would agree that he is the class clown of all class clowns. He's always cracking jokes and making inappropriate faces. Being funny is something Braeden is very proud of, as he believes a good sense of humor is the best quality a person can have. He tends to be over-talkitive, often getting himself and others in trouble. Braeden is by nature a very social and kind person, always more than happy to lend a helping hand. He's very much a jokester, and has what is called a contagious laugh. Despite his happy-go-lucky attitude, Braeden is actually a very hard working and surprisingly intelligent young man. Sure, he's not the smartest, but he's also not the dumbest either. Breaden suffers from ADHD, and can almost never sit still. He's also very organized, often color coding his homework and alphabetizing his movie selection. Braeden is non-judgemental and is always looking for a good time. « Braeden is one of the younger people in his family, and so he tended to be babied when he was a child. He's always gotten the easier chores around the farm.
