Iwaku: Misera

Name: The Falcon, or just Falcon
Age: 26
Race: Human Fire Mage
Appearance: 5'1", Grey eyes, Pale blond hair that is usually worn in a ponytail, extremely pale skin. She tends to dress in all black or jeweled toned clothing, and is particularly fond of a silver falcon shaped pin she always wears on the left side of her tunic length vest.
Occupation: Wandering Artist, Former Palace Guard Trainee
Personality: Extremely logically minded Falcon prefers to look only at the facts of any situation and never let her emotions factor into any decision she makes. She has very rarely done anything that could be considered truly altruistic, because she had very rarely done anything without stopping to consider all the consequences. Falcon believes one should always be willing to live with the consequences of one's own actions.

She makes new friends slowly, but is willing to work with anyone if it gets her what she needs. Once won over she is a loyal friend, but that doesn't mean she'll always do what you want her to.

Your Crime: Abandoning her post in a time of need, Leaving Iwaku in a time of great change at the invitation of a leader of a rival country, In short Treason.

Raised in a land far away and working as a traveling artist Falcon had once been recruited by the Great Gabriel as a promising recruit to serve in his guard. He placed her in the care of several of his trusted personnel to learn and grow. Soon after she came to Iwaku Gabriel was named King, and while she was pleased to see him take such a role in a time of great need, Falcon felt the premise upon which she had come to Iwaku had been shaken, and this set the stage for what was to come. So while she served King Gabriel faithfully for some time, when conflict came she grew uncertain. She did her best to stand strong as King Gabriel faced Lord Razilin, and while she did not take part in the fighting, she remained loyal to her King and continued to learn from those informally assigned to instruct her, learning all she could from the King and his people, looking up to them as great mentors and respecting their abilities, striving to be like them; But when the great conflict came she was aware of the king's weakening and others growing stronger.

Then there was Vincent. A native of her own home he found her one-day when she returned to visit some friends. Vincent explained that he had founded a land far away where he was the Czar. It was small, but if she ever needed she would be welcome. She visited several times and liked the land though her loyalty to Iwaku was still dominant. But as time went on she realized that important members of Iwaku were leaving, almost heralding the conflict to come, and she began to seriously consider Vincent's request. He had never belonged to Iwaku, he had no loyalties to King Gabriel, and from him the offer was genuine, "You show great promise and I like your style. Come with me," he had asked her. "It's young and a small land open only to those whom we invite within our boarders, but I promise Lady Egypt and I will teach you everything we know."

The signs of Iwaku's failing all around her, and unwilling to stay and watch another war, like the one that had once ravaged her own home, Falcon packed up her belongings, and without a word, left, abandoning everything including her mentors and King, not seeing how her staying could help anything, intending never to return.

When she was caught it was quite clear that the people she had actually abandoned were no longer around, But Queen Diana was adamant. Perhaps it was because King Gabriel had abandoned them and she had once been loyal to him. But Queen Diana insists If Falcon had committed treason once she might do it again, and an example must be made. Thus she was sentenced to Misera.

Falcon knows she deserves her sentence, and has never bothered to protest against it. She even walked unshackled to her own excecution.

Are you truly guilty or innocent: Guilty, and she regrets only that she did not wait long enough to follow King Gabriel when he left.

History: After Abandoning Iwaku Falcon followed Czar Vincent to the new land he ruled, named Chaos Clock. It was there she began learning about magic and it's rules. From Lady Egypt of the Dragon clan she learned of fire and it's abilities to consume and well as warm and provide the heat necessary to cook. From Lord Vincent she learned of how balance needed to be found in everything. Too little and nothing was accomplished, too much and one could overwhelm themselves. And Though It was a small land Falcon was happy.

It was in Chaos Clock she dwelled as King Gabriel grew more paranoid eventually abandoning his country and Iwaku fell into the Admin wars. In fact she was so comfortable that she stopped bothering to keep track of what was going on in the other lands and only learned of the Eldar wars and everything that followed long afterwards. Yet, eventually, like all small independent countries, Chaos Clock was swallowed by a neighboring Land, and Falcon was left again in search of a home.

After several years of wandering, making a living once again as an artist, and not really belonging anywhere Falcon was finally considering going home anticipating that everyone she had once known would be gone, when she was met on the road by Ryex. He too had once be a citizen of Chaos Clock, but had found his way to Iwaku. Falcon explained to him that she could not return to the land she had abandoned, but he insisted. "Things are different now" he said, "nobody will remember you, and the Lady Diana now rules. You'll be fine!" Having never heard of the Lady Diana, Falcon was convinced that enough had changed and she returned only to be caught and tried for a crime that had happened years before the current ruler's reign, when she had been very young and quite possibly stupid.

Important People:
King Gabriel – We should all know who he is.
Czar Vincent – The Czar of Chaos Clock, it was he who tempted Falcon away from Iwaku. He taught Falcon a great deal.
Lady Egypt – Falcon's Magic instructor and leader of the Chaos City Council.
Ryex – a Friend and Falcon's martial arts instructor, is was he that convinced Falcon to return to Iwaku

Important Places:
Chaos Clock – The small country founded by Czar Vincent. Falcon lived here after she left Iwaku
Chaos City – The capitol and only city in Chaos Clock, Chaos City contains most of the residents as well as the Czar's palace, the City Council Chamber, a coliseum, a Gallery, and a Library.
The Council Chamber – A large round room where most of the city's policies were decided upon by the counsel, it is also the room where Falcon received most of her instruction in magic.
Plura-Orbis Coliseum – A combat ring where combatants could practice their skills against each other, or various animals and monsters. Falcon never participated herself, but she watched many people she knew compete.
Chaos Gallery – When she wasn't learning from Czar Vincent or Lady Egypt Falcon focused on her artwork and displayed much of her work here.
Chaos Archives – Chaos City's main library, Also an avid reader Falcon also spent much time browsing the library's large collection of works.
The High Road – When she left the fallen Chaos Clock Falcon spent much time wandering the High Road. It is here she met Ryex who directed her back to Iwaku.

Powers:
Martial arts and weapons training: Picking it up later in life Falcon was encouraged by Ryex to train with him as they journeyed back to Iwaku. She is still only middling in rank.
Simple fire starting: Lady Egypt taught Falcon much when she was in Chaos clock, how to start a simple fire being the most basic principle behind her magic.
Flaming Egg: a standard fire attack, Falcon throws balls of fire at her enemies. She can manage as much as five at a time, though the more she uses and the more often, the more her physical strength is drained. She must rest and eat to recharge.
The Falcon's Flight: by compressing an extreme amount of heat and force together into single bursts of fire from either the palms of her hands or her feet, Falcon can launch herself into the air and in a sense, fly. This requires extreme focus and perfect timing and can only be done for short periods of time as it is quite tiring. Landings can be extremely rough. This move also caries the risk of scorching anything too close to her when in use.
The Falcon's Rage: Her most powerful attack, Falcon can summon a small firestorm to consume her enemies. It usually takes the form of a falcon and must travel in a straight line. Falcon can only use it once in a seventy-two hour period and doing so will leave her exhausted and drained immediately afterwards. It will take at least a day for her to recover.

Weapons: Fire magic and a Jo (4' wooden staff)

Misc: Magic being draining, she prefers to use martial arts unless otherwise necessary. Though if a battle proves to be too complicated she will turn to magic, which is where she's strongest.

Falcon ACCEPTED Sincere apologies for not getting to you sooner. I've been battling my writer's block for some time.

Throwing dice for encounter.

No worries, it just gave me more time to read everything and write up a post in the event the character was good . . . which turned out kind of long, but it should catch Falcon up to where the others are, almost.

I'm here and I have another post planned, it's just not compleatly written out yet

I'm here. I'm trying to figure out what to do next so hold tight.
