Innocence of the Damned: Birth of Rebelion

I'll have a reply up as soon as I can, likely tomorrow.

@Batty two little questions. Do you want a posting order or it doesn't matter? And when is that other person joining?

I would prefer mostly posting order. And he says he is going to try and get his characters done up tomorrow.

I think I am interested in this .3. I'll put up a CS later on if that's okay.

Edit:
"I could heal you, but you'd be more worth to me dead and in my army than alive of your own free will... Haha, I'm just kidding of course. Yes, just kidding..."

• Name: Luna Solamance
• Age: 23 years
• Gender: Female
• Race:
A rare and deformed species of Elf with the ability of an elf and the curse of a Necromancer. With the ability to speak to nature as most elves, this species can communicate with all of the gods creatures to give them a voice and fulfill their needs. Elves being considered the servants of the gods, they understand the cycle of nature, life and death, and embrace it as required. However, when given the ability if a Necromancer the cycle of life is disturbed, the dead rise again, He'll walks the world with ease, spirits are not given any hope of rest in order to serve their summoner. This cross breed is considered deadly and vile once their skills begin to develop, often around the age of twelve or even sooner. Those discovered to be this cross breed are quickly banished and thrown into the mines no questions asked, to prevent their skills from growing and developing into something deadly.
• Talents and Abilities:
Nature Speech: Like the average elf, Luna can communicate with nature, be it the smallest weed to the tallest tree, using them often as her spies to give information on what happens when no one else is around.

Sixth Sense: Along side this she is able to speak to the dead, be them ghosts trapped in the world or the dead in other realms. This is helpful for having conversations when feeling lonely and spying on others if the spirits are willing to play along. Sadly her skills in necromancy are lacking without proper training, so raising the dead is nearly impossible for her to achieve currently.

Healing: With a power passed on by her elven blood, she has the skill to heal others, but very rarely chooses to do so.

Spying: Using the words of spirits and trees to gather information, she tends to get information easily. However the trees can't be heard this deep in the mines, and the spirits often enjoy playing jokes and having their fun instead of actually being helpful.

• Crime(s): Being born an Elven Necromancer has landed her a one way trip to the mines to prevent her from growing stronger as a Necromancer.

• Appearance: About 5"7', usually without shoes her height doesn't change much from this. Her body is rather slender, and like most elves she holds pointed ears and slender hazel eyes, appearing almost delicate in appearance. Due to her skills having little to nothing to do with the physical aspect, she tends to not worry much about her build. However she tries to keep herself covered in robes or cloth, anything she can, to prevent her body being seen as a weakness of hers. Her skin, once tanned by the light of the sun, has grown pale due to the life in the mines with little light to bless her skin. Her arms hold runes, she can't recall exactly who put them on her, but they help channel her necromancy abilities easier than trying to find a staff to use. Her hair is long, held back in a tail with locks as dark as ash, often snaking down her spine.

• Personality: Despite a rather depressing life being born a monster, she claims she isn't particularly bitter about it, she grew up this way and hasn't had a chance to see how elves live when born "correctly" as it is often said. However she is known to mumble about death and war and revenge to the spirits who are willing to listen, but always dismisses such claims as "you're just imagining things" followed by a joke or a laugh. She's rather shy about her appearance, often trying to hide her ears under her hair, or wear as much clothing as she can to hide herself. She's rather blunt in what she says, but if she sees someone appearing uncomfortable by her brute honesty she tries to laugh off her words as a joke. Luna isn't one to hold secrets, very quick to betray a stranger when given a bit of useful information, however her own secrets are kept locked away behind sealed lips and the secrets of her friends are buried deep in her mental vault. She'd rather trade a secret of her own than betray someone she has the ability to call friend.

• Biography: Luna's life as an elf was short and lack luster, she grew up as an elf for thirteen years and saw no signs of her father and rarely any signs of her mother. Due to the war between her clan and a Necromancer clan, many elven women were raped and elven men were killed, spreading the Necromancer seed into the elf bloodline leaving this new race. Luna was no exception. Her thirteen years were spent monitored, poked, examined, tested, and ignored by her relatives to see if she would show signs of being able to communicate with or raise the dead. Her mother was separated from her during this time, never once did she visit her in her solitary hut, or even write a letter of concern. Eventually she was found speaking to herself in her hut, the elders of the village knew this sign well, and after verifying she spoke to a spirit she was banished to the mines.

The trip to the mines is a blurry memory, she only recalls her trip was long and tiring. When close the mines she found her arms with the runes now on them, unsure what or who gave them to her, perhaps a distant Necromancer or maybe they naturally appeared. She can't say for sure, and the trees were quite clear that they would not tell her who they saw.

The mines at a young age were rough, but adaptable, and filled with many deceased spirits to speak to as she work. With her life in the mines long lasting and in her mind permanent, she has grown to accept it as best she can and try on her own to enhance her abilities. She hopes, one day, to join her Necromancer brothers and sisters, learn their secrets and their abilities, and rage war on those who abandoned her.
(Tried keeping it short)

• Other: Nothing I can think of, might add to later.

is this open?

Oh mah goodness, am I interested! I'll get one up later today, after work and shiz~

hold on, i am waiting for some RP's to die, once they do, I'm in!

I know there's a type of posting order but if someone doesn't post after awhile can we skip over them? Been waiting for awhile to post

Maybe… but it's batty's turn to post. I think it would be kind of rude to skip his turn or any of them. But maybe he will be posting soon because he does come online. Poena needs her playmate.

I hope so, because it's rude to make people wait on someone who hasn't posted in a few days. I tend to get bored with RPs that aren't active >~< but I'll wait.

Sorry about that, I've just been going through a bunch of emotional junk the past couple weeks, but I'm making a post right now.

This looks cool. I imagine I'll be allowed to add other characters later on down the line?

"I'm in here, so I'll admit it: I'm innocent in the way the trees are blue."

Name: Yarna Eller

Age: 21 years old
Gender: Female
Race: Half elf, half human
Talents and Abilities:
Agility: Like most elves, Yarna is quite dexterous and agile. She has great balance and, despite being partially human, gives meaning to the simile "graceful as a cat".

Stealth: After years of practice, Yarna is adept at sneaking around, not being noticed, and more or less spying on people.

Charms: Being part elf has allowed Yarna some basic, magical abilities, such as basic self healing. Being part human, these abilities aren't very strong.

Sensory: Yarna is skilled at being able to sense people & danger around her.

Disguise: Due to some skill, practice, and necessity, Yarna has made herself very skilled at the art of disguising herself.
Crime(s): Murder, assault, kidnapping, and theft on multiple accounts

Appearance: Coming from an impoverished family, Yarna has always been lean. After she was making her own money, Yarna kept lean, and quite fit. She is, like a typical elf, quite tall. Her skin is tanned to some degree and, while she has some scars over her stomach, back, arms, and legs, Yarra can still use attractiveness to her advantage when needed- the elven sharpness to her human features, her sharp chin and high cheekbones- particularly with the help of makeup. Yarra's hair is red and curly, and reaches her elbows when let down, though usually kept up in a braid or a bun. Her eyes are a dark blue, and sharp in shape compared to a human's eyes.
Yarna wears some studs in her pointed ears of various metals; iron, mostly, with a dull silver hoop on each lobe, all to serve for some basic protection, if only from her own superstitions. She has, inked into her left shoulder in all black, a dagger facing down with its hilt in a sun. However, it is typically not seen. Yarna generally wore breeches, a plate of armor under a shirt, and a cloak around herself, for various reasons of her job. The armor was taken from her upon entry to the mines, and though Yarna is still wearing breeches, she is still trying to replace the armor. As a result, her small breasts show more than they had previously, but that is the only physical difference.

Personality:
From a young age, Yarna knew to learn to defend herself. This would be the primary trait of her personality: she is defensive, an a survivalist. She is quiet for the most part, and courteous enough to others, and certainly friendly enough. The half elf has a bit of a wit, and can be reckless and get herself into fights more often than she cares to admit, but she is also strategic. She doesn't so much make friends as she does find the most influential people she can to cozy up to, but some of her relationships are more emotional than that.

Biography:
Yarna's mother, human, had restless feet. It was getting pregnant that slowed her down and the child that stopped her. The woman understood that she wouldn't have been able to raise a child on the road, even if others may have been able to. So Yarna's mother made her way to the nearest family, one of her sisters, the sister's husband, and their children, and raised her first child there. Or started to, for the woman grew bored and left again, only to return with another child, and then repeat the process once more, each with a different father, and each father a stranger.
These three children were born with a few years separating them, resulting in the youngest, Yarna, being just old enough to be teased by the cousins of her age and the neighboring kids (for children are mean and these ones had yet to see anyone nonhuman and her elven traits were strange to them) when her eldest sibling- her human brother- left. Though Yarna's other sibling, a human sister, was protective of the half-elf, it only helped so much. It didn't take Yarna very long to start asking her mother to travel again, but that she also take at least one of her children with her. And so she her mother did, leaving Yarna's sister with the sister and husband that had housed them where she was well settled, and taking the half-elf with her.
Perhaps it wasn't the wisest decision, for Yarna's mother was getting up in there in her years. After this last period of pause from her 'culturing', she was slow on the road. Yarna was fine with this, and instead learned how to take care of herself and her mother as they travelled from city to city. By nothing more than dumb luck, the two found Yarna's older brother. He had made out well for himself as a bounty hunter, and Yarna- who'd gotten along well with him when they were younger- was glad to see him again. He determined that their mother was in no condition for travelling and escorted them back to the family they'd grown up with. After some begging from Yarna, he even agreed to take her along with him as he left the house again. She was happier with him than with the cousins and neighbors that'd made her more likely to hold her tongue, and as such, took up the profession of bounty hunter with him.
Things were mostly well- with some fights and some stupid moves resulting in injuries and the like- for a few years longer until Yarna started convincing her brother for them to bite off more than they could chew. She always wanted the next hunt to be just a little more than the last one. The two had been pushing it for a few missions then, when she took on one that was just too much. Though Yarna managed to collect the bounty, her brother was not able to share that prize on account of having not survived the hunt. Grief and guilt made her throw herself at her job rather than away from it for some time, which resulted in some more reckless decisions that, eventually, after she'd recovered from her brother's death, ended with her working in the mines.

Nope
